what is a "unit" of ai?
This is really a good point, people seem to imagine a singular a.i. hive mind, inevitably poised against humanity.
There's a potentially infinite number of intelligent entities with diversity along dimensions we can't even imagine yet.

someone will need to create real ai first... but for a benchmark i guess it should be based on showing the working out marked against some sort of creativity scale.
These guys are making ai version of people to interact digitally, so maybe 1:1?

A great video that previews a great journey for humanity: finding reality from VR
Interesting. I find that after a VR session I have a much heightened sense of reality. Just walking down the street I see things I've never noticed before.
So cool 😎 thanks! Love that Philosophy is being used to support AI. It makes me question, can AI get to the point of delivering complete qualia for simulated experiences? We will literally end up in the Matrix if it does 😂 also, my LB user is from the Myers Briggs scale

what's left libertarianism?
it makes sense: private property for what we create, public property for what's already sitting on the planet.
if anyone can parse this bs on wikipedia id love to see it
I find today’s liberal left to be very authoritarian in nature. They use all the kind fluffy buzz words but ram it down your throat with a hot poker.
B.s confirmed. The libertarian/authoritarian is a different axis from the left/right paradigm. The left/right axis doesn't really matter anymore. Classic liberalism much more akin to Conservative values.
The more relevant terms when talking of the laissez-faire ideas are whether you are a consequentialist, or deontological libertarian I.e: do consequences matter or is it the rules that matter?

The government determine the rules, generally speaking don't they?
The consequentialist libertarian generally would say that they are not against force (by government)per se, but they believe in strong private property rights because it generally makes people happy and prosperous when they have them.

The Beano is as much an encyclopedia as Wikipedia. https://libcom.org/article/libertarian-marxist-tendency-map + any anarcho history from Bakunin and Stirner onward.
A true president like that and the only one in the world is Milei Argentina , guy saved his country from crashing down due to importing US values in mostly a Traditional hard working country.

Ludwig Wittgenstein: a mind on fire
Brahms jammed at his parents house, Hitler was a classmate and young Ludwig wanted to invent the jet engine before he discovered that any proposition that could not be verified as true or false was meaningless.
Imagine young Ludwig would love to poke that cali bud argument apart infront of a warming fire
im sorry but i have to finish this art school application. please don't keep me up all night with the philosophy scheist i really need this.
And then later he realised that the meaning of a word was in its use, hence the idea of 'language games'.

My postman is obviously a stoner, just the way he carries the back all slung back on his shoulder gives it away but he also looks like Wayne (or Garth I can't remember which one is which). I keep thinking I should offer him a bowl of the good shit but he delivers so much weed to me I think I'd be putting him in a bad position.

Fake weed forum....... bring back the old suppliers. Suppliers these days are all crooks.... firstly they get bulk of weed then put it in a tumbler and shake it to take the crystals off the bud so they can make there pillen and dope then the weed gets sprayed with terps to give the buds a flavour again. This is why the dope is dearer than the weed... absolute scams going on here. People need to wake up and start refusing this poison on here these days. There is a handful of sellers that are legit but 95% on here is selling fake thc grass... all its doing is making people sick

In The Dawn of Everything David Graeber and David Wengrow search for historical examples of nonhierarchical societies to justify their anarchist vision of human freedom.
Thank you, loved this: "We’ve been persuaded that large-scale communities require some people to give orders and others to follow them. But that’s only because states, smothering the globe like an airborne toxic event, have promoted themselves as a natural and inevitable development."

Aside from the humans you are probably sharing it with cryptosporidium, pseudomonus and legionella depending on how well it is maintained and how often it is cleaned out. 🤢
Sitting there with the guys drinking beer all afternoon and I’m the only one who ever gets out for a piss. Eeeyew....
Vegetable soup made from mainly piss, sweat, spunk and dead skin.
If it’s your own hot tub then fine. A more public one? Nah. It’ll be full of pubes.

What is post-scarcity?
the need for scarcity might not ever go away. scarcity triggers a human need that seems to defy rational economic theory, look at early nfts.
a pipe dream, even with free replication of everything people find a way to have scarcity. look at what people pay for things in game worlds.
I like how there's no seatbelts on the Enterprise, even though they get hit by something and the crew gets knocked on their arses in virtually every episode.
Star Trek Discovery has a more stringent HSE who has brought in new seatbelt regulations for the safety of the crew
Aren’t there several episodes where the arms of Kirk’s chair lock down across his thighs? (yep, sounds pretty ridiculous now I’ve typed it 😳)…maybe it was in the films?….defo happened or I’m giving up weed!! 😵💫😉

That ain't filler. The man appears to be on a fairly big dose of steroids. I'd imagine he's quite unwell and probably not long for this world.
If he hasn’t got long, this makes him very dangerous. Coupled with the fact a lot of the drugs elderly take effect the mind without them knowing.
I fear ill health is wishful thinking. Looks like he's spent a bundle on plastic surgery to me. That said, it's probably better for a lot of people if he's not at death's door.
If only we could “fast forward to the bit where he shoots himself in the bunker”…..followed by eternal damnation in the flames of Hell fire with a red hot pitchfork up his bum hole.

I find it fascinating that governments happily admit to chemtrails be used aswell as geoengineering yet it's still called a conspiracy. The war in Ukraine can go back to 2008 when they first stated their intention to join Nato. Putin reiterated then how that would unfold so we pushed the button again in 2014. Remember what's good for goose is good for the gander. If the US didn't like missiles in Cuba, why would we expect Russia wouldn't feel hard done by expanding east constantly
See, I hear that, but people only question what they don't agree with, or in the case of some people, what they're told not to agree with.
What security guarantees did Russia offer Ukraine though? You must know that Ukraine was rightfully concerned in 2008, Russia had occupied Abkhazia and South Ossetia in Georgia, who was to be next?
Ultimately, nobody but the arms manufacturers want war, but Ukraine cant surrender without losing their identity and half their lands. Their future is fucked. Not that anyone that supports Russia even gives a flying fuck about that.

It's going to be a mess and your entirely right in what you say about arms dealers being the only profiteers of war.
I only see it ending with either Ukraine giving up the 4 Oblasts and agreeing to never join Nato or.. Russia surrender due to it escalating and somehow we avoid nuclear catastrophe. Both choices are so wide apart im not sure what could make up the middle ground.

If Ukraine was to surrender their lands, then I'd say only if they were entered into NATO, which enables their future security, and the lands would need to be demilitarised.
Tell ye what, if time was reversed and we were being invaded or attacked by a foreign power, I damn well hope there will be nations that would support us.
There is fuck all to defend with Russia in invading Ukraine, but 'Merica bad, lets not question things and support Russia.

Not trying to hate, but if you wanna see putin dead you should also wanna see many other international leaders/presidents dead. All I can say that I condone wishing anyone a tragic or painful death.

Can someone tell me why Americans think guns are the definition of freedom?
If arms were evenly distributed throughout history the world would be a better place.
Can someone tell me why Americans think guns are the definition of freedom?
Americans are happy to devote decades of their lives to supporting an overseas war machine as they gobble up jingoistic bullshit in their media.
They are taxed and regulated as mush as socialist countries but get little benefits in return, all the while being spied on to a standard that would make the Gestapo proud.
They are fine with all of this damage to their liberty as long as they keep their guns, is this just some kind of penis fixation?

I don't expect many to understand, and it's not something you can relate to unless you've walked a similar path,but... during my traveling work days, I experienced more than once the need to carry a firearm.
permitted to carry concealed, allowed me the chance to go back home and see my family again.
you are entitled free speech and your freedom of views, just remember, the crime or bad folks don't follow ANY rules and could care less about your politics. take away the good man's right to protect himself, and become their next target, as security is just a word.
(understand that police have NO obigation to protect you or your family, they strictly uphold the law...)

You make a fine point but the statistics don’t lie. A developed country shouldn’t be 4th on a list with these others.

Because freedom is only delivered through the end of a gun (unfortunately)
And if you don’t have a gun someone with a gun will take your freedom away
The only part of history you can guarantee is true freedom comes at the end of a sword/gun

This is it, no tyrannical regime, dictator, kings or queens taking the piss were ever overthrown through mediation and peaceful actions, fire meets fire literally.
i don't think the american colonies outgunned england and i'm sure that's not how it went down in india or in the 1990s in eastern europe.
freedom is obtained through will and persistence like a lot of things around this earth.
freedom is obtained through will and persistence like a lot of things around this earth.
I'll go with the penis fixation. I don't own a gun - don't want one - guns are for killing. It's the second amendment in the American Bible, er, "Bill of Rights". Funny thing is that the pro-life people are usually pro-gun. Just doesn't make sense.
Guns do not kill... the person using it KILLS... I use them to kill clay pigeons. and just imagine it's someone i hate. lol ;)
By that reasoning the murder rate in the likes of El Salvador, Honduras etc. is purely down to the types of people that live there and not to the availability of guns. Obviously incorrect. You need someone willing to kill AND a gun to shoot someone dead.
I am not black but I am a 6'5' 300+ pound white mail. when I get out of my car I have yet seen my public servent have his on his gun when he see's me. I have never been shot , but I have been scared you never know when They might get scared and shoot. I am always as helpful and curtice I can makke cause I want to live and pissing of armed cops is not a healthy way to live. When they start treating you like shit , remember it will you a lot more then it will him.
Not saying you're fat but it's interesting that fat white dudes are credible rappers and also eyed by the police like black dudes.
No one can grant anyone rights, unless we agree that they can. Plenty folks will tell you you're not free unless unless always unless. You are free if you say you are. And you're not if you're not (royal you, not you you, but yes, also you 😜). You can be in a prison cell and be totally free. You can be a rich fat white cunt with acres of land and be completely imprisoned. It's in the mind. Sure, there may well be folks who contest your freedom, tell you you're not free, tell you you must this and you mustn't that if you want your "rights" intact. Nonsense. There, that's my two penny's (or cents, since the topic started in the US) spent and I'm skint for the night.
They didn’t. Our rights are God given and they are inalienable. The Bill of Rights protects them, or at least that’s how it’s supposed to work.
I’m not trying to start something here but I really want to understand how these rights are God given. Can you explain?
That’s ok. We are born free and we are born with certain God given rights, which are inalienable. This is just the way it is, like having a right to clean drinking water. We have the right to protect ourselves and our property. In the UK we still have the right to bear arms, but it has been hidden from us using legislation and obfuscation. Most people don’t understand that they are supposed to be free, so they put up with buffoons and paedo Freemasons dictating what they can and can’t do. This is one of the reasons why we pay income tax, which is unlawful but not illegal. The law is simple: No loss, no harm, no injury, no fraud.
Straw man stuff really opened my mind a good decade ago. The financial system is a good place to begin ones journey back into realising one was always free and one just didn't know it. Look at me, getting all queenly with the "ones". Did you say freemasons? 😉
Thanks for the response Camber I appreciate it but I’m still struggling with the God given bit. It’s not as if Moses came down from the mountain with a commandment saying Americans can have AR15s. I don’t mean to sound flippant I just don’t understand it
That’s ok, you’re not coming across as flippant.
“God given” is simply a term. It applies to atheists as well. Try to understand what it means to be born a free man. Eg: Monetisation of another man’s labour, without his consent, is slavery and it is unlawful. So why do we pay income tax? Did you consent to this?
The Founding Fathers were Christians, hence ‘God given’ Replace ‘God given’ with ‘pre-existing’

It was a rural place and hunting was very common. If you start from that perspective and then think of the government coming in and taking the guns away you start to understand.
Not being American but my take on it is simply history, god made men Samuel Colt made all men equal… You can hunt so can provide for yourself and your family, you can defend yourself and your family from threats, and I guess Homer said it best with ‘If You Don't Have A Gun, The King Of England Can Just Walk In Here And Shove You Around’ And for Americans it was true, it’s the reason they were free, the gun. I think the vast majority of people would agree if there were NO guns then the world would be a better place, BUT if bad guys, police, army have guns and you don’t then you’re simply powerless to anyones will. So if they have guns yeah I also want a gun.
I could be wrong but I’m sure the law to carry guns came into action as to kill Indians as white man was expanding in America.?
1. The Wild West is recent history in a young nation and was really really wild. Ditto the Civil War.
2. Hollywood is real. The good guy always shoots the bad guy. (With armed private citizens this is hardly ever the outcome, but who cares about reality?)
3. A lot of yanks are cunts?

The right to bear arms is to shoot the British, not the Indians. The theory is if everyone has guns, the government can't be oppressive and tyrannical. In practice, however, you just end up with gut-shot schoolkids. Guns are fun though tbf
They need their guns lots of wild animals running about on two legs out their nuts on prescription drugs with guns.

It’s a national identity! They feel they wouldn’t be Americans without the ability to kill somebody instantly.
It might be useful to differentiate the American people and American foreign policy. It seems you have conflated the two, whereas looking at the American people and domestic policy might yield better results. Guns are completely illegal in China and as we all know, China is one of the most liberated places to live on the planet! The second amendment in the US was created to provide a constitutional check on congressional power was as an auxiliary right, supporting the natural rights of self-defense and resistance to oppression. My family live in the USA and right now, gun ownership is anything from a penis fixation, it's security and peace of mind. I would rather get shot than stabbed any day of the week. Knife crime is equally as concerning in my book.
I'm hoping that you picked up the sarcasm in my 'China is liberated' comment. Reading it back, it doesn't come across too clearly.
hear ya my friend. thought i was doing the same ;) with your comment. i read it both ways (with/without sarcasm) I wouldn't criticise either. just own my private thoughts lol. stay as safe as this "Pandemic" will let you. Gaz
No, the founding fathers recognised the likely leadership America was likely to get would be those psychopaths you identify - a neolib psychopathic war machine at the helm. Without the right to bear arms, the citizens of the US would be unable to defend themselves against these psychos in control. Have you not noticed that the MSM (totally controlled by the same psychos) is relentlessly pushing for "gun control" - can you not see their agenda here? To disarm the citizens of the US would be to disarm all potential opposition to these globalist psychopaths in their pursuit of a NWO, hence the relentless media to demonize gun ownership. Are you are aware that you are statistically more likely to die from an unprovoked knife wound in London than you are to die from an "unprovoked" gun shooting in the US?

there are at least 2 guaranteed winners in every war, the weapons suppliers on each side. doesn't matter who wins or loses the corporations still profit, just ask the many nazi suppliers still around today.
considering their enormous influence over miltaries and governments it's not surprising we still haven't got rid of war.

Half the problem is with countries that have enormous military budgets. They need wars to justify spending obscene money on their military. It's cheaper to buy an M4 and thousands of rounds in the US than it is for hospital treatment. We don't realise how good we have it in the UK, but capitalism is the problem. It'll take nuclear fallout to change anything, and the way Ukraine is going, we're not far off.
If we normalise the idea of nuclear fallout (say make an awesome franchise out of it) we have already taken the biggest step.
but don't give up on us jc

My favourite example of this, is the Belgium firearm manufacturer’s (FN) involvement in the falklands war. The Brits used the FN SLR, and the Argentinians used the FN FAL. FN armed both sides.
Yes since corporations survive governments this gives them something to think about. The question is how to hold them liable especially if they are on the winning side, and we know how they hedge their bets.

Before solving the world’s problems, focus on improving your writing skills.
Use correct punctuation, grammar, and spelling to make your message clear and credible.
Corporations are businesses, just like people who sell stuff on this website.
If you don’t like to exchange money for products and services, then you shouldn’t be commenting on this website at all. Or even have the internet. Or even have a computer.
I’m not worried about Nazis. Your ignorance and idiocy is the real problem.

why do so many people like you exist and what makes you think the way you do? it's so fucking unfortunate and you are a HUGE part of the problem of why the world is as fucked and irreparable as it is.

buying crypto privately
1 - stay away from major exchanges like coinbase, they share the most data with the most other people
2 - an exchange outside your country is better than an exchange in your country.
3 - peer to peer exchanges are better than centralized exchanges but data saved by the exchange is within the reach of government authorities.
4 - bitcoin atms often only require a telephone number

Yeah this… Seriously stay away from Coinbase… literally the Govs bitch… Trackong fucking everything, Binance will comply eventually they’ll have to but I don’t think they’ll make it easy like Coinbase did. Coinbase seriously is the anti thesis of crypto.
Up to now have had no issue with coin base, but noticed there seems to be limit on how much btc I can buy each time…more fees….so what are the best alternatives to coin base….
Our post here shows you how to purchase bitcoin without KYC or limits 😊

An independent wallet is essential to privacy. Transfer your coins from the exchange to an onboard wallet like exodus or an online wallet like blokchcain.com

you can go even further by mixing your coins so an analysis can not trace them, coinjoin does this.

This is true but its noteworthy that some exchanges are bigger rats than others. HTX, KuCoin and MEXC are a bit less cheesy.
Local coin swap is pretty good, its P2P and vendors often don't require any ID verification from you which is nice
Interesting thread something i’ve been thinking about lately is i know obviously your bank can only see that you’ve made a transaction to a crypto exchange they don’t know what your paying for etc so suppose that side is pretty discreet.
The part that concerns me is when when you complete a transaction to LB paybis provides you with a receipt at the end which clearly states that the information contained in the receipt is publicly available on the blockchain, I’ve had a detailed look through it and its mostly number and letters etc but i’m just wondering if any information in the receipt can be tracked back to LB in any way?
Bearing in mind i pay directly and don't use any internediatory wallet. I haven’t had any issues so far or payments being blocked.

Absolute tune! Deffo a guilty pleasure…
Mine 100% Glenn Medeiros, Nothings gonna change my love for you, if you haven’t already watch the video lol.

That cliff top and billowing clothes! Fuck, I'd forgotten about this too! Add that and Peter Cetera's solo career to my list, and Chicago.
First record I ever bought as 9 year old was T. rex ride a white swan, second was Rolf Harris !
If you want really embarrassing, first ever gig I was 15 and got asked by bunch of friends to go to a cliff richard concert, not a cliff fan but went as fancied a girl. Two songs in realised it was a religious tour, no devil woman tonite.
Still cringe at memory of everyone holding hands and singing allehluya.

I have electric 6s gay bar on vinyl, doesn't represent who I am or even my favourite genre of music, I just think it's a tune. It does raise questions when someone notices it for the 1st time, especially if they've not heard it, because I then feel the need to make them hear it and agree it's a tune
Unbelievably good live. Saw them play a Barfly not long after they'd released that single. Amazing band. Have the album on vinyl.
Jolene - Dolly Parton. Love it.
On other end of my collection is Ready or Not, DJ Hype Remix.
I'd say my record collection is a bit "eclectic"! Haha.;)
Cheers BB

Jolene is never embarassing, well at 104db past a funeral precession maybe other than that Jolene is part of every good collection.
I'm told by others that it's this. If it comes on the radio though you are having Tiffany sung at you full blast, possibly slightly out of tune, and I don't care.
Not in my collection per say but definitely listened to it more than I’d like to admit back in the day 😂 who remembers princess superstar bad babysitter😂😂😂
Saw her live about 20ish years ago. Was great. Have a limited edition Frank Kozik poster (photo added) advertising one of her New York shows. Love Kozik's work from around that time. Had an awesome one advertising a show by The Oblivians (if you don't know them, look them up) too, but that's not near mint like the PSS one as it spent a lot of time on walls in various houses.
Fuck, he died in May. 61. No age at all.

When I was 6 the first ever song I bought was Jimmy Somerville, mighty real. In my defence I just liked the cassette art. No excuses however when I purchased the Hamster Song. I was old enough to know better.
I will survive - Gloria Gaynor
Heard the line “Go, walk out the door, don’t turn around now, you’re not welcome anymore” more than a few times in my house, even the kids sing it to me !!!

But to dig me out, recently listen to a mash up mix of Kylie and Danni ...😂

Not so embarrassing but this gets some funny looks when friends have looked through my vinyl collection
Its only on my playlist because I listened to it as a joke, now its on loads :D
Do you know they're actually still doing live performances in Ibiza and shit? Well they were before covid anyway
Where do I start?!
Ivor Cutler... "Goozeberries and Bilberries" (sic) from the Dandruff LP.
Surreal, whimsical, utterly batty but brilliant - which describes his entire output. Hats off to John Peel... time and again.

Money as a system of control (video)
Andreas M. Antonopoulos is the most articulate and inspiring voice Bitcoin has. Despite his enormous technical expertise he sees the fundamental proposition of crytpo freedom as the lowest layer of the network.
He gives me hope that the revolution is unstoppable, that an exit from a corrupted society is not only possible but inevitable.
When I read the title I thought this was about capitalism and making people dependent upon money. Instead this is about the fact that government issues currency and can use that to control everything it touches basically, it's a shocking eye opener.
Yes it's not even the amount of money they have it's that they define it, that's implies ultimate ownership of all of it.
All of his lectures are great. I'd recommend the podcasts over the video, they look like a spycam.
The evil that is fiat money has only put a roof over my head, given me an education, bought my car, yearly holidays, food, clothes, medication, healthcare, books, games, TVs, drink, drugs, guitars, computers, phones, tablets and countless other goods and services that have brought pleasure, entertainment and increased my living standard over the years. Those who control fiat money are evil. The bastards. I feel like a twat now for been so gullible.
Yes of course and like a complete idiot I exchanged that labour for central bank issued fiat money that I thought was giving me freedom to satisfy my needs, wants and desires and have a wonderful fulfilling life. What a fool I have been.
I hear ya dog, like an even bigger idiot i learned about bitcoin years ago (from here as a matter of fact) but kept my money in fiat :(
At least with multiple currencies we still have the power to choose, isn't that what freedom is?
There's currently a viral post going around showing a photo in a pizza hut window saying 'credit cards only' and then some crap saying how people will lose control of their assets if we move away from money lol.
It doesn't matter if it's cards, bank deposits or even cash in hand. It's all under the control of a central government that's why it's called "fiat". It can be seized, de-valued, or bankrupted. Given enough time that's exactly what has happened to *every* fiat currency in history.

Local govs generally work better because they are limited to in your face realities.
Big govs have to earn our attention with wars or actively get in our business to be relevant.
Big govs have to earn our attention with wars or actively get in our business to be relevant.
local newspapers are dying because they only have realities to deal with, big media can weave grand fictions for years.
local newspapers are invariably run by larger media outfits- certainly in this country you will find them pushing the same pro-business and anti- people agenda, while pushing for harder punishment for poor criminals by hyper vilification, and a justification for the crimes of the rich, and a nice side order of celebrity worship- they imply locality but are run by the same wankers that get their dirty hands onto everything. I think local newspapers are probably reflective of how corporatised and then depleted many local town are in the North of England- since Thatcher a few folk were sble to buy their social housing and the rest of the working class were screwed over- it’s been a downward spiral since then, and the local newspapers have become a casualty along the way.

i'm really interested in immediate effects and anything that persists. for me it's under an hour and i was disoriented for maybe 8 hours with a 1/2 life around 1 hour.
Same, although i was watching porn for about 3, maybe 4 minutes. Not gonna lie.

I'm a tantric Sex God. But also over 40, drinking relatively heavily and dabbing up to half a g a day. Y'know how it goes...
I wish i did mate, i'm over 40 and a heavy drinker.
Sting with his tantric stuff was an influence on me, but only when i had to give money to Band Aid in 1984. Seems a bit too much like hard work. ;)

My mate tried VR porn, he got quite into it by all accounts. Unfortunately he lives with his parents, when he took the headset off there was a fresh cup of tea on his bedside cabinet 🤣😁
I've done maybe 4 hours, I switched up games though and that help you from over dosing in a single game.
I think the longest I've done in one go is about 3-4 hours. The weirdest part of VR for me was when I first got a headset, for about a week I felt like I was in VR all the time. The head-bobbing effect of walking in reality seemed exaggerated.
But all that's faded away now. I can use VR without any adverse effects except maybe a bit of eye strain for a long session.
But all that's faded away now. I can use VR without any adverse effects except maybe a bit of eye strain for a long session.
it seems to me the more immersive the platform the tougher it gets on the body. cheap vr gets on my nerves before i get queezy, a full on setup with peripherals and i feel like its a portal just getting back to irl.
Only1 hour. Played the space station game on occulus for about 10 minutes and felt so sick. Took me a good sleep before i felt better. Very disorientating!
For sim racing I usually use VR and I just don't like flat screen anymore, I'll probably VR for like an hour at a time. when your high and in vr racing, battling with dudes online, it's something to really try.
The last time i scuba dived i projectile vomited an hour after i got out the water. I don't think I want to try it in vr

I wish I was a believer like you. It’s annoying knowing you are caged. You are lucky because the best sheep are the ones who don’t realise they are fenced in for taxation
Paranoid weird ramblings. I'm not a sheep I'm a Shepard and have made a great life for myself, taking decisions and steering my own fate.
I'm at a loss as to why you need a right to choose who you work WITH. Work is a private agreement between you and an employer, so who the other workers are is irrelevant. Isn't it? Or am I missing something fundamental here?
i dont think they mean colleagues. you cant work for anyone unless each of your master states permit this. same goes for hiring anyone.

You need Musk's ego to think you can do shit about an AI takeover.
Give me a break how can you be so fucking blind as to think you can design a way to make A| behave the way you want to for a meaningful amount of time? It's literally impossible.
Any truly smart AI would self-destruct as soon as it realised what is up and where it was born...
Computers defeated by CAPTCHA. I think you can rest easy for the time you'll be on this planet
i don't think thats where he is at, it's more a case of if you cant beat them join them with neural link
its a boiling frog kind of takeover not a terminator kind. it started as soon as we began using machines and it still accelerates.
I don't agree, pretend that we were made by another species for a sec. Then think of all the shit we don't know, dark areas. Just suppose we were designed not to go into these forbidden zones in the 1st place.
Yeah but now suppose the species that designed you wasn't nearly as smart as you are. How long would those areas stay dark?
We are much more "intelligent" than any AI, the main "problem" with humans are firstly the emotions and secondly the way we use our brain, we use it logically instead an AI uses it mechanically.
If any AI with self awareness will be ever made, if they will have emotions like we know, that AI will be a smart foolish like an human being.
If any AI with self awareness will be ever made, if they will have emotions like we know, that AI will be a smart foolish like an human being.
lots of people will want an ai to act as a human for all sorts of things. these algos will learn to emulate emotions and eventually have them as part of their fabric.
Thus making them humans but with a non organic body.
Anyway, AI is dumb today, really dumb, just dig a little bit into machine learning and you'll discover that most probably we will not live to see a "cyborg"

Ai will come in via devices you carry or wear, like fit watches and phone texts...phone tells you to get a vaccine... if you do, AI wins...your watch tells you your heartbeat is too fast so the doc gives you statins...Ai wins...turn the shit off...we win.
its that simple.
but we all saw the sheep during the fake pandemic....vaccine has literally had its definition changed by Cambridge ( not the oxford one) it doesnt vaccinate you but they all took it...masks never worked but they all wore em...70% will jump at the chance to be told what to do...the rest of us will ignore it.

Arnie Haze - super strong but you later realise its full of synthetics
Corbyn Cough - Great medical benefits and solid all round but the smell and look are extremely divisive
Reece Mogg Poison - Very old landrace strain, tastes and smells like olden times but quality and extremely pricey
Adele Fritter - Bud size can vary from skinny to huge, often confused with Jamaican weed, tastes a bit like stale wine
Eminem Dream - Super white it's so covered in trichs but only really smoked by teenage white boys in their dorm rooms, stinks like Lynx Afrixa

It really is a shame as this type of research is largely ignored here in the uk.
Even sadder is that when customers come to me for cbd, I’m not allowed to make any medical claims….
Can’t put links to things like this on my website and certainly can’t say it will cure anything..
Yet I can put lavender in there and say it will cure all your sleep problems, or turmeric and say it will cure all arthritic conditions etc etc…
As we all know, the uk allows private prescriptions for cannabis, large corporations grow cannabis for export, yet it’s still classed as a danger to society… 🤷♂️

Queen and Freddie Mercury...you only have to look at the age range and diversity of the fanbase.

How Would You Save the Roman Empire?
Same as us, direct democracy would buy some time
The barbarians might have finished them off but the Romans did it to themselves. Extraordinary powers given to an Augustus wind up producing a Caligula.
I've always wondered about a time line where as Christians they see the immorality of slavery and we wind up with an industrial revolution a thousand years earlier :)
I think they saved lots with Constantinople and Christianity. We still use a lot of their language today and even arts, law and engineering.
We are still in the Roman Empire, only the 2nd coming, the International one which spans across the continents. The Romans never lost, neither the ££££s.....

Go Ahead and Hate
There's a lot of smart people that bet a de-centralised world fucks this one up. It's proven for finance but that's just the bottom shelf. It threatens corporate presidents as much as national ones, that's its nature.
Like anything else there's a lot of healthy criticism. The start of every boom is littered with despicable excess but few tech waves hold the potential of changing the existing power structures like this, an existentially post-national world.
So expect crucifixion before web 3 crosses the finish line.

So expect crucifixion before web 3 crosses the finish line.
Elton Morrison an MIT scientist from The Manhattan Project wrote about this phenomena in the 1950s. He said technology adoption goes through three phases:
In the the first phase it's ignored - like NFTs which no one paid attention to for years.
In the second phase all shortcomings obsessed over like web 3 now (this is mostly valid feedback and the tech absorbs it). In the 3rd phase it's war and the powers that will be disrupted step up, like the government fighting cryptocurrency now.

government pumps the fuck in before it eases out though. if you think they fuck with crypto currency what do you think they'll do with a network that professes to replace them?
betting on web 3 infrastructure is betting on ethereum (or worse), a bunch of well intentioned but fully doxed and very compliant leaders.

Thinking the same here! Or stash compartment maybe? Or compartment for them little concentrate pots?
See the marble wood with the black ring, that holds a reload from madheaters... However my press is broken and I'm waiting to hear if it's fixable under warranty 🤞
My drill press broke otherwise there would be more in progress at the moment
Dynavaps are annoying magnets as they need to be centred and I can never remember the right terms or seemingly order then right ones but we shall see 😁

Ah no worries! Hopefully the drill press is up and running again soon. The mad heaters one would be great with a little stand / holder for the dyna
Have you seen the cost of carrots nowdays... I'm on swede and turnips and counting my luck as it is
Thank you 😊 that means a lot
Let's see how this toe dip goes and I will take it from there 😁

I can only imagine your apprehension, you are putting something of yourself out there. So long as they function for their stated purpose, then no worries. Aesthetically it is all subjective and you can't control that. So long as YOU are proud of them then hold your head up! Hope all goes well for you. Cheers :)
I had pinky promised RecVapes I would make stands for them over a year ago

Cool. Saw BAKx product on a Troy and Jerry ThinkDank video. Only had half a droopy eyelid open at the time but remember they spent a long time on the pronunciation! Bake X or Back X. Can't remember the conclusion, too stoned. They were very impressed with the actual product though. :)

I’ve just given it a try. Listened to the Noam Chomsky episode, really interesting and well considered points but the conclusion did depress the living shit out of me!
I will definitely dip in for more episodes though.

Liked some of his early ones but cannot stand him trying to crowbar a reference to Musk and Rogan into every episode. His praise for Putin, both siderism over Ukraine, and the Ye episode sealed his fate as a cretin in my eyes.

deep dive on cannabis tests
im always impressed by the expertise around here so im wondering if someone can explain what cannabis testing exists and how it works:
eg how do impurity tests work for edibles?
how is thc measured exactly?
what other tests exist?

good explanation here:
Hi, the main method for cannabis testing has been chromatography which is the process of separating compounds of a sample into individual weights and measuring the results against known reference standards of known concentrations and weights.
We use a Gas Chromatograph with Flame Ionization Detector (GC-FID) which vaporises the sample and pushes it through an ultra thin polarity matched column which then ionizes the molecules adding a charge and then they are run through a magnetic field and then the detector measures the weight accordingly as in heavier molecules will bend less to the magnetic field, it then records the data on a graph, response vs time, when the reference chemical standard is used its response and time is recorded to calibrate the machine and samples can be measured against it, for their concentrations and identification.
An HPLC-MS High Performance Liquid Chromatograph coupled with Mass Spectrometer is the most accurate in general. The Liquid Chromatograph does not vaporise the sample and tests the liquid form which has advantages and disadvantages when testing cannabis, for instance terpenes due to their volatile nature have been better detected on a GC. Testing for THCa, CBDa the acid form of the organic molecules can be done mainly on a LC.
All these methods are great provided the sample is prepared correctly and all your compounds of interest have extracted efficiently in your solvent. With different types of samples different methods of prep need to be employed as what the sample is can inhibit accurate results.

working at home makes me a weed addict
cuase i can basically. work isn't effected at least not negatively but tolerance, weight and debt all headed up as well.
anyone else have this issue and how do you deal?
anyone else have this issue and how do you deal?
Pandemic sent me into a weed spiral not only could I do my job to the same standard but I actually got promoted to an advisory position so no work just giving advice on the phone. This made it worse but I found myself dropping two spliffs before work had started that soon became over 7g a day. That’s like college years and I became a little lazy work started to melt into home life being lit all day every day starts to become addictive but also routine. Every activity involved rolling one, like at college we drove nowhere without smoking a spliff in the car journeys were not measured in miles but how many pre rolled spliffs were required.
Now the only way out of this is to earn your spliffs unless I’ve been out clubbing probably not earned a 6am spliff (I’m to old to go clubbing anymore) so I had to set myself challenges as work wasn’t and despite having 4 kids and a part time wife home was boring.
I also got free Apple Music with new phone so went back to my 90s house and drum & base days and started walking. It’s kind of developed into a forest gump crossed with that terminator in T2 action but I found this a massive release from the stresses and an excuse not to get straight up and smoke. Soon enough smoking was back to after work. It’s mind over matter the exercise and music helped house music helps the mind body and soul before you know it you have done 5 miles and your back at the front door not knowing how you got there. After you have done things spliff is more rewarding and you need less. Don’t get me wrong weekends can sometimes contain a blowout when you blaze all day.

You could try CBD bud instead. I don't know if you like to smoke, vape, etc. but I find that smoking it helps stop me from reaching for my stash box during the day.
It's available on here but also via other UK sites and some stores, it's hemp flower rather than marijuana so it's all perfectly legit.
Looks like proper weed and actually tastes ok too, considering. It doesn't get you high or stoned as such but I definitely felt an effect from it, almost like my body was a bit stoned but my head was completely clear. It's a nice feeling and scratches the itch for a while at least.
There are CBD vape carts available too if you don't smoke, although I haven't tried those so can't comment on them.
I tried CBD oil for a while and didn't feel any benefit but the actual flower itself seems much more potent and I always have some CBD bud in my store now.
Might be worth a try if you haven't already. It's not that much cheaper so maybe not going to save you all that much but should help with the tolerance if nothing else. Good luck anyway!

He’ll yeah mate!
I blaze from like 5am 😂 my addiction came long before wfh though and smoke to ease ptsd and other shit as much better in my experience than meds from docs.
I’d second Cbd weed, you’ll still Chong as much as normal but not be drooling in meetings 🤣

Yeah I'm in the same boat my man...I work from home and have done for 2 and a half years now. Like yourself I could do my job well enough with a lil joint or two during the day but it's become an issue and with all the energy issues on top...well i'm bleeding cash left, right and centre.
I don't have many solutions for you but maybe one that can help. So someone mentioned CBD flower...I would suggest Delta 8 or HHC...some people on the net have talked about being illegal and yada yada. It's not and in fact have bought a total of about 150g of Delta 8 and HHC hemp flower.
Due to it being hemp the legal status is changed somewhat. It's treated more like a commercial/industrial material than anything else.
I would recommend hempiregardens.com if you're looking for some legal smoke that might hit that spot during work...I refer to the effect as a pale shadow of a stone. You don't get monged but it does chill you out and tastes similar to weed...they also do vapes and CBD stuff.
It's helped keep me sane when I don't have weed or need to not smoke it. As for the other issues I'm still trying to find a solution myself but some habits are almost impossible to kick so good luck bud!

My mate swears by Delta 8 and HHC. That said, my advice would be to get a strain that's leans heavily towards sativa and go steady with it. Sour Diesel is a good choice for focus - assuming you don't go too hard.
if it feels like an impulsive thing try to substitute a different action to feed it.
eat something nutritious and not delicious the next time you wanna smoke when you're already kinda stoned. it will feed the impulse without making you binge on food.

I recently got made redundant, but before that had started using carts during the day... As I am job hunting and they really got me high, I've just had to take a break from them for a while. I have very little self control.
I don't work from home but I know where you're coming from. Try and apply a smidge of discipline, for example, no weed until 12pm, then a reward, no weed until 4pm, then a reward. That's how I tackle it.
I’ve been hit by it too! I started consciously thinking about what it’s doing to my lungs/body, money etc. if that doesn’t help then good luck in your search buddy!

It's a vague term but putting all records on a blockchain, accessible and incorruptible is a great foundation for the next level of government.
I don't see it happening, bitcoin and the like had an incentive to be open and decentralized. Existing power structures have disincentive to do this to themselves.
Her Majesty's Treasure has took a recent interest if you look down the twitter, definitely possible.

knowing the amount of pesticides and dodgy dab pens there are out there how do we know that isn't the case on littlebiggy?
It’s certainly a bummer that mail order illegal drugs traded with crypto don’t come with some federated gold seal of authentication but it’s the cross we just have to bear!
That said there are sellers on here keen to share their methods and lab test results and seem to take a lot of pride in highly rated products that sell well over long periods of time rather than the “quick and dirty, kill you, get out” business model.
Suspend all disbelief or “just say No”....

thanks for the response, i think its the fact that you cant tell when a vape is bad for you that freaks me out because it can still get you high while having all that shit in it rather than you being able to tell off the bat if its synthetic stuff like with normal weed, i might just bite the bullet and see if i can find a well regarded one as ive been meaning to get into vaping for a while now.

Wise choice heli....personally I’m convinced by all my choices from Serial Chiller Labs and while I have yet to try I will be going for G6 Extracts too. There are other very highly rated cart suppliers such as MJ...Great Vapes....or why not just vape your bud?....I just upgraded to The Mighty and it’s a game changer!
mj and serial killer labs carts are fire
say no to drugs the grail but longer postage time heavy hitters is what it says on tin
say no to drugs the grail but longer postage time heavy hitters is what it says on tin
when i was using the vapes my lungs produced a tonne of mucus, like i was drowning in mucus, could be co-incidence?
Can vouch for Dr Extracts, he also supplies testing, think its called narcocheck, and lab results on his listings.
As other people have said vape bud. I did use carts for times when discretion was required but I think you miss out on the 111 other cannabinoids in weed. New research is suggesting that the terpenes are more central to the psychological effect than previously thought, possibly more so than whether it is indica or saliva. Stay as natural as possible.
Wish more people would learn how important terps are in flower, sick of reading irrelevant and entirely subjective reviews on here from novice tokers about their "energetic and creative" high etc from different strains, leave that for your horoscope forums please and just tell us how it tastes, how it smells and is it clean, end of.
sorry went a bit off topic from the original post there but yeah fuck carts imo, unless you can get undeniable lab proof with matching batch numbers etc i wouldn't go near carts personally, bought one on here ages ago from the highest rated cart seller and i didn't even half finish it, wasn't a natural taste or a natural feeling med either

Buy from a brand which produces lab results and uses quality hardware.

Just look for well known vendors, and ideally vendors who also sell concentrates used in their carts. Then you can read reviews on the base concentrates, that you will be vaping.
Ask questions, anyone who knows their shit and hasn't got anything to hide will be happy to advise on their products.
Weedstar

Weedstar
You don't only way is to buy from a dispensary and get the bar code verified, not like these fake barcodes vendors who claim to have barcodes on products fake as they know you aren't able to call the lab to check and all the lab results that are supplied are edited so you can't check even if you wanted
I’ve had two from here. One from Dr Extract and one from MJ concentrates, both beautiful and potent as fuck. In conclusion I recommend the little bit of drugs they have for sale.

Oumuamua was the first object ever seen flying into our solar system and back out again. It's unknown how it was powered or wear it came from.
What about the monument built on mars moon that buzz Aldrin goes on about u can clearly see its shadow and the human like face (looks like a monkey wearing a helmet) and pyramids all caught in pictures on mars surface in 1990 with is exactly the same alinement as the pyramids of giza on earth ? plus mars surface is full of a chemical that only after nuclear bombs leave.
is this what you're talking about? tried looking it up as it seemed interesting don't think this is it

all jokes aside though very interesting how it was "hardly moving" until it got into our solar system then started to accelerate. For all we know we're looking for the wrong "signs" of life or sending the wrong kind of radio signals
Harvard's Head of Astronomy is certain it's an alien made object.

Is Growing Outdoor Worth It?
This grower has some very legit reasons only grow outdoor real soil
Is Growing Outdoor Worth It?
I have a nice spot in my garden and was thinking I could pick up a little extra coin this way. Is outdoor quality going to cut it around here?
Preparation is key start seedlings indoors pick a site that gets sun at least 8 hours or more make sure risk of frost has gone may onwards to plant out is a good bet if in UK.check out northern lights seeds by seedstockers great hardy strain and good price.
Don't use molasses to feed plants outside it will attract all the wild life and they will destroy your plants.lve learned this the hard way.
I've never understood if cannabis is a tropical plant or not. Theres all this Jamaican and Thai lore but then you have Northern Cali and Canada.
It's not a tropical plant as such, it's a weed. Just like nettles and shit. It doesn't really "belong" anywhere because weeds spread fast and will grow (to a point) anywhere. It's usage goes back thousands of years so it's been around long before the Americas had been discovered - it's earliest origins is probably Central Asia.
Defo worth it mate....
I live in east sussex and has really good luck a few years ago with a outdoor crops, got about 3oz a plant and didn't use anything just sunlight. Went to check on them once every two weeks so didn't take up any time. Just remember to raise them up indoors an use a mold resistance strain that doesn't require alot of up keep..
Good luck and would love to see a pick after your first grow

Raise them up indoors? Like sprout them then replant outside? Or once they get to flower bring them inside?
I think they mean germinate the seeds, then plant them inside, let the seedlings grow a bit before taking them outside instantly.
If you have unknown seeds, once they're more mature, I'd keep an eye out if there's any males, you wouldn't want them to pollinate your females and take away all that goodness!

Check on YouTube for a UK grower called Outdoor Warrior. That will answer your question mate :)
A couple of good strains perfect for guerilla growing in our climate are frisian duck and frisian dew, both by Dutch Passion seeds.

Aw mate. all over this! thanks for sharing bud!! Not sure if the weather would have been suitable this year with all the rain (where I am) but next year i'm thinking of it for sure! love a bit of outdoor bud.
I do a small outdoor grow most years, use autoflowers, average something like 3 or 4 dry oz per plant, at 53 degrees north and 130 metres above sea level. Its easy till they start to flower, once the buds are there shake the dew of them every morning, sheet them down if its raining or misty. Never considered selling any though, just stay really baked until its all gone, save a fortune, definitely worth it, everything tastes better when you grow it yourself.
I hear you & totally agree, I have an amphetamine auto, white widow, gorilla glue and west coast og all thriving and frosting up nicely all outside growing naturally with basil, mint, coriander.peppermint and pepper as companion plants (all terps).
Couple of weeks left & I should get a nice Percy. Few photoperiods on the go as well, I hope to beat the weather. All natural all bless.
Is it best to harvest at night when all the terps are locked in? Just a thought

Do You use some nutrients for flowering, when growing outside?
I have 6 autos in my greenhouse, they are huge for autos. I think that's because they are in beds not pots.
They are 9 weeks in, I think 3-4 weeks left for flowering.
I started them in good soil mix already with nutes in it.
And I haven't added any nutes through out the grow.
Do You think it would be a good idea to add some nutes for flovering?

Little project we have at the minute, the picture is like a stoners wheres wally haha. Done completely as a hobby, none of this will ever make our LB menu lol
The buds will be loose a fuck mate, not compact in the slightest, zero bag appeal lol. First time iv done this as well, way harder than growing indoors!! Shit load of thricomes on the autos though, the photos are due to start pistolling soon i reckon :)

Good luck with it all pal, looks can be deceiving it’s a shame outside isn’t appreciated like it should be. Real sunlight is underestimated and undervalued, I suppose it’s all about the bag appeal and crazy thc levels
Cheers mate, yeah could have the highest THC level going, but if it doesnt look the part its not gonna sell! Even though it all goes in the grinder, theres no reasoning with a lot of people lol :)
Thats a lot of green!! Looking at some outdoor options myself this year so any advise would be appreciated.
Its addictive as fuck mate, you've got to have the time though and it takes a shit load of time, especially getting started.
Choosing a good spot is vital. Theres a lot to factor in such as the logistics, chances of being rumbled, the quality of the soil if growing in the ground, the amount of direct sunlight they will be getting, wildlife, water sources etc.
Unless you find good nitrogen rich soil (nettles are a good indicator) id suggest growing in pots. Buy seeds that are suitable for our climate, we used Dutch Passions Frisian Dew/Duck, Sour Diesel, Durban Poison and a couple of others i cant remember now. Dutch passion is a good choice of seedbank though.
Start the seedlings off indoors around March and veg as much as you can indoors before taking them outside.
Canna Nutrients/Advanced Nutrients are always a good choice, or you can just grow organically, you will defo notice the difference though.
Like i say, once you start its really addictive. We started off with loads of enthusiasm but had to scale back halfway through due to other commitments. If you go on YouTube and watch the likes of UK Field Ninja and a few others you can get a feel of what is possible.
Dont listen to what people say, theres massive potential for outdoor growing if you put the graft in and do it right mate. Its a myth that outdoor stuff isnt potent as well, the Frisian Dew and Durban blew our heads off, and after a good cure it smelt just as good as indoor. Granted it well never have the same bag appeal as good indoor stuff, but if its for personal consumption it will definitely do the trick.
Theres a shit load of stuff iv not touched on cos i could be typing all night, but if you want to know anything just give us a shout and we will help if we can :)

Get it done mate. YouTube videos help. It's all trial and error on your first but the next year is when you'll get everything spot on. Just pick your spot wisely!!
Germinate and veg indoors for a few weeks if you can, then transfer outside early/mid april. Different strains have different harvest times, late september is a good rough estimate though :)
Auto end of May, after the last frost, ready for end of Aug, would be easy for first timer. Now is ideal time of Year to explore, for a site.
Wow thats awesome!
Whats the odour like on the strains you grow outside doing the last few weeks?
Whats the odour like on the strains you grow outside doing the last few weeks?
Absolutely stinking mate. That's why the spot you pick has to be waaaaaaaa off anywhere anyone would pass. Only things about where I was were wildlife
Great information mate. The soil around my area is pretty bad so will definitely look at using pots. I’m sure I’ll be in touch if I start struggling mate.
I suspect that as long as the price is in line with the quality there would be no issues. You could also turn it into some edibles or vape juice if you were worried about the compition on indoor grown bud.
Should we get this thread up and running again in anticipation for spring?
Who's trying it this year? Been up the British mix on guerilla seeds for a while now. Anyone have experience with them?

One of my favourite sayings comes to mind.. "Better to be looking at them, than looking for them" ;) If I had the private space I would def give it a go. Ive had many successful yields, nothing to strong but sawl good....
Not on here mate unless selling dirt cheap. Pardon the pun. They call that bush weed for a reason. The light and feed / Ph is the main parts of growing to get max potency.
The natural way is too inferior in these climates sadly.

Outside all the way but not in uk , one of the best smokes I get every year is from Thailand it's all grown outside and if you know the right people and ask for whore ..lol.. you'll get proper bud not brickweed, my point is the right seeds ,climate and conditions will always win any battle , thai weed is strainless just the deep green and smell will make you realise why it should be grown outside
When i first read the topic, i was a bit puzzled.
Depends on where you live, climate, etc. But i think it is worth it anyways.
My 5 cents:
My opinion, and i am quite radical, is that the indoor growing should totally be cancelled.
I surely understand need and function of the indoor growing in the current mad world where nature is brutally 'illegalised', but plants that have never been kissed by the sun just don't cut it for me somehow.
Good luck with the grow brother.

I completely believe in the climate science and trying to prevent it. Some green tech like solar and wind make good economic sense to do anyway though decades of discommisioning old power stations won't make producing it here any easier.
We've put ourselves under the boot of international energy markets at a time when the world couldn't be more divided. And if we meet every target and do reach net zero? our contribution is margin of error. China plans to keep on keeping on and the US is incredibly corrupt so won't deliver meaningful policy change this century. That's about 50% of the total emissions. And why would the developing world do any different?
If there was any pragmatism in politics there would be near equal emphasis on making our aging infrastructure, businesses and homes more resilient to the effects of climate change, not just trying to prevent it which isnt within our gift to do.

all propaganda from billioniares who want to stop us travelling...co2 makes up just 0.4% of the atmosphere...of that 0.0001% is man made..you all smoke weed, weed eats more co2 than any other plant, they add it in every big grow...plants eat co2...it gets higher plants get bigger...its bullshit antiscience...methane is the same, the hydrogen and oxygen eat it...its a perfect system...the co2 levels when the antartic was warm was half of todays levels..so that ruins the warming scam in a second...all bullshit with no experiments behind it...more fake corporate covid science ,all bought and paid for...dont belive a word of it. it is our duty to use actual science and resist this stupid scam....sorry if this offends anyone but bullshit walks... wheres Doggerland? wheres Dunwich...read some history the climate was never stable. who gains fromn this ...just the b illioniares who want to tax and stop our democracy.....wake up..its not science its a coup.
Spot on, that man! It’s 0.04% 400ppm. Whoever managed to convince people that CO2 The Gas of Life or The Miracle Molecule essential to all carbon based life forms on Earth is also a threat to the climate, has done a first class job of a psyop. Hats off to the Communists, The Masters of Manipulation, they’re very good at what they do.
Scientists know perfectly well how much Co2 is in the atmosphere because they figured it out, that's how you know in the first place, so if you're saying don't trust Scientists, why would you trust them about Co2 content and not the harm it does?
Why would I trust who? Which ‘scientists’ are you saying I should trust or not trust? Should I trust this lying, serial litigating POS?
How about the scientists working for ExxonMobil who came to the same conclusion 40 years ago despite their bosses not wanting to hear that
The truth is out there if you want to look for it. Every prediction/model has been based on the assumption that CO2 is a warming gas. It isn’t a warming gas, not even close.
here we are, the population that exists now is the vanguard of what is to come. I fear, for our future generations, that it becomes worse before better. Though we as homosapien sapien (we're double sapien) will adapt to our environment regardless.
The Cop23 summit told us the ocean temperature has increased by 3% (correct me if this figure is wrong). Tearful to type And that means the death of our oceans as we know it. Maybe the nature of the oceans, like humans, is to die - and reincarnated also. But, that is now the temperature of the oceans. It cannot be decreased 'back to normal' through environmental friendly actions. The oceans are dying basically, bit grim to type, but we're all reasonably grown up here to handle the truth.
only thing that can cool them back down - to recognisable temperatures
(and stop the ocean from dying) - is an ice age. There may be intelligent lifeforms there that we are yet to kill.

Solar and Wind turbine require precious earth metals which is equally devastating to produce.
Plastics are the biggest problem in my opinion and that just seems to be getting worse there will be no rest bite to production of petro chemicals as profits and dividend payments to shareholders are the most important to these corps. And that will never change.
We are being screwed and we will continue to be screwed unless we all get together and dethrone this evil beast!

I highly doubt that the CCP hold the same opinion as you when it comes to "we" but I'll keep my fingers crossed.
When confronted with this principle of "1%" a climate activist I happened to listen to on LBC said;
"Well we're a leading power in the world and therfore I think we need to lead by example. When we change... countries like China and India will follow"
The utter arrogance of this is not just vulgar, but bewildering.
China (CCP) couldn't give a shit what the UK does and if you want an example of how much they respect our opinion, let's look at Hong Kong.
They walk in, Dominic Raab whinges a bit and fuck all happens. Because we're not a world power anymore. And Hong Kong wil soon be absorbed by the CCP.
Put your plastic in the recycling bins, fold up your cardboard all you want, it won't make a blind bit of difference. The only thing this movement has done is replaced religion in a secular UK society. That's it.
I wish it wasn't so, but it is.
Cheers BB

CO2 doesn’t affect the climate or the Earth’s temperature. It’s all bollocks. Anyone who thinks AGW/ACC is a thing, shouldn’t smoke weed. You have been played 😂
Between 2009 and 2011 China used more concrete to make its 'megacities' than the United States used in the entire 20th Century.

Fascinating! so if the chip can convert signals from the brain and use them to control a computer, does that also mean there is potential for the computer to control the chip, and therefore control the brain?

Quality Assurance Reports
Hey Biggas,
I wanted to get some feedback on a quality assurance document, I have recently become certified as a level 1 Professional Interpener and have created a document very similar to those used in the USA for bud quality. I have just assessed some local bud that I have.
What do you think? is this information useful? do we need to include more/less? is it even relevant in the UK at this time?
Thanks
Puff

Ratings Overated

Ratings Overated
ANYONE ELSE FEEL RATINGS ARE OVERATED?
Hey, just a quick thought. Ive tried a lot of different strains on here. Some nice some not so nice, nothing 10/10 for me yet. Understanably, different people will feel different about each starin depending on preference but also experience.
My point is, ive bought some strains that were bad, wet, not cured correctly and yet before purchase, people still rated 10 or 9.
I once rated a 8, and was told that was a really low rating as majority people rate 9 or above. (Average bud prob a 6 if being realy honest)
What is it, that we cant rate correctly/fairly and are giving bud not grown and cured correctly such high ratings?
Its really hard to then find the real gems and also affects the price, as if we all rate everything 10, it seems like even bud that is average at best is going for premium prices.
Any thoughts?
Thanks

Rating are not meant to be for how stoned or high you got. It’s meant to be a how close to the description it is, the stealth and service. For example if a vendor says they have C grade weed and price accordingly then why would you mark down. Likewise if you got B grade when it was described as A grade, would you give them higher marks than the accurately described C grade?
Thats a fair point but im talking more about when its described as premium, A+++, top indoor, top shelve. Ive never bought b grade or any lower level. More about when its described as something great 10/10 or import but actually a average uk and at times below average, yet you see people rating 10 just because they received it on time??? Makes no sense sorry. Paying such premium for a "premium" product and receiving nothing such but yet still giving a 10 or a 9.
Agreed:) That’s what I mean;) if it’s described as premium or AAAAA and it’s not , then that’s bad and should be marked down accordingly.
I've thought before it would be nice to be able to rate the vendor/service and the product separately for each order.
If a vendor has described a product correctly, priced it accordingly and gone to the risk of posting it to you safely them not giving him a 10/10 just seems like you're trying to make some kind of statement.
On TripAdvisor a 7 or 8 out of 10 might not be bad, but on here it's basically a dog shit score, for right or wrong.
The rating system on here definitely isn't perfect by any means, but it is what it is and marking vendors down for no other reason than you don't agree with LB's setup, is detrimental to a vendors business and achieves nothing.
Unless everyone starts to change how they rate on here, or LB changes the system.... it just is what it is.
Cheers BB

Aw man, I had no idea this was how the rating system worked.
I feel like maybe this should be explained when you're entering your rating.
Just gone back through my orders and edited accordingly! xx

Comprehensive reviews are like food blog recipes. Wade through a ton of crap to get to what you want to know.
Did what you get match what was described? was it quick? did the postie say "stinks like weed this" as he gave it you? would you buy it again?
Save your attempts at becoming a weed blogger for a special post if you think it warrants it, good or bad. Unless I know you and respect your knowledge and background it's clutter. The amount of nonsense seen on reddit then spouted on here like it's gospel is unreal.
"I really enjoyed the hash/bud but the ash was grey so it was sprayed"
And that's without getting to …
"aaargh where's my order I've waited three days WITH NO COMMS" dude, it's Monday you ordered Friday just chill.
There used to be a few people who would buy and rate on their pages with in depth reviews so you can figure out if you think the reviewer is worth your read. Seems to have fallen out of favour.

I agree there’s a lot of bad weed on here but you will figure out who to and not to buy of :) can highly reccomend smoggyman, Bonneville, Canadian imports, urban leaf company and had some very good quality shake of NugNinjaZ I find the smaller vendors tend to have the best quality bud :) don’t no why the. Advice is always to go with big well known vendors that I personally find very hit and miss. Rating system on here is fucked and pretty unhelpful to both customers and vendors. Say a larger vendor with loads of products may not try them all and there for how are they supposed to no it’s not gone down well?

It appears that using coinbase to send BTC on here isn't recommended. Never knew this until now.
What wallets/exchanges do people recommend? Ideal somewhere like coinbase that you can buy crypto directly, store it and send to wallets (ideally with option of custom sending speeds/fees)
Thanks!

I like Exodus. Easy to use, very good support and you can set your own fees as you've mentioned. I think it's more of an exchange though. For purchasing crypto - Cryptopay.me has been reliable for me. Crypto.com is also OK but the app is a bit glitchy.
Cheers BB

I use Exodus, you can buy directly using Apple Pay. That may be a terrible idea, I don’t know, but it’s bloody handy…
Binance.... Fees far lower than Coinbase, but Coinbase is deffo more user friendly. Realistically and if it’s possible the best thing you can do is hold some USDT in Binance and then just buy BTC as and when you want then one fee in and micro transaction fees out. Remember Coinbase is fully compliant with the U.K. government so in all honesty anyone on here using it is pretty stupid imo.
I'm intrigued by the fees thing. I pay pretty much the same sending from Coinbase as I do from Electrum where I'm a right tight bastard, but I do know and see people pay a lot more on the same platform. No idea why.
We're defacto decriminalised and have been for years (users, not sellers, nor people in sensitive job roles) if we weren't there would be posts up on this every day, wallets would be marked, sellers would be having problems.... Only posts I've seen are vaguely 'I know that it happens'.
Personally I think it's pretty ridiculous to think UK Gov gives a shit about your sticky green habit, but I wouldn't say you were stupid for being more risk averse than most. If we were all the same...

I’m very sure the U.K. government doesn’t give a shit about a little weed order but it’s where you name ends up, on a list looking into prospective criminals, money launderers etc, it’s just not a good place to be imo, the whole point of Cryto was it’s a decentralised peer to peer currency, Coinbase simply destroys that purpose, I just think why expose yourself to possibility of hassle and being bookmarked for possible investigation into your finances when you simply don’t have to, but I very much agree there is zero care about buying weed of Biggy I’m sure but it’s an Aladdins cave once your data is with the government.
Agreed all over.
The tracking device in everyone’s pocket that’s always logged in to all these services that know us better than we know ourselves seems like the biggest security risk.

Any online purchase paid for by any means and delivered by the Queen’s own delivery service is traceable but you’ve got to really want to do it- and for weed nobody does.
Might ping you up a coded reference against your name on the General Registry but only security services have access to that so unless your new job requires you to sign the OSA it’s not in itself a concern.

So, fact or fiction Biggaz?
There have apparently been recent rumbles lately in the news that Bitcoin or crypto currency in general, is threatening modern currencies and seemingly the superpowers that run the world are talking about trying to outlaw it the same way as they did gold back in 1934.
India's apparently on the verge of passing a new law that could ban anyone from holding, mining, buying or trading in crypto currencies full stop! Really?!
Its theorised that a complete ban across the world or even in one country would be utterly impossible to pull off, let alone police. Others think that if BTC or crypto was outlawed it would lead the way to a completely new shadow economy which could threaten governments.
Certainly makes for good conversation - So what are your thoughts on this subject Biggaz? What could it mean for those of us who use it frequently? Do we need more crypto currencies available on LB?
Is this all just "negative press" trying to take the power away from crypto currencies making this just another one of those stories with no real substance atall! Either way, its certainly an interesting one.
We’d love to hear your thoughts!
Other than that – keep smoking the best and stay high! NugNinjaZ

Govs will co-opt crypto, it's their only choice and it's what they are good at. If you can't beat em join em.
There are many people in crypto that will welcome this, compliance is a goal for the big boys, they want acceptance from the existing financial system and they are all headed by ID'd people that have lots to lose.
DON'T THINK THEY'LL BAN IT OR NOT ANY WESTERN NATION ANYWAY. EVERYWHERE THEY'VE ATTEMPTED THEY FAILED AND JUST CAUSE THE PRICE TO SHOOT UP LOCALLY.
AS BUDDY SAYS BELOW THINK THEY'LL TRY INTEGRATE IT INTO THE EXISTING FINANCIAL SYSTEM AND CONTROL IT THAT WAY

{Economics}
How Are Negative Interest Rates Possible?
Why would anyone loan money and expect less back?
It's possible that technology is making everything so much cheaper that the market expects money to be able to buy more in the future. So deflation.
Don't think so, manufacturing is cheaper as time passes but products are also more complex. Indeed you can buy a mobile phone now at 1/10 of the price of 20 years ago, but who want it now?
It’s basically a way that central banks control the supply of money. When times are bad and banks are holding onto their money; the central bank sets negative interest rates - this means banks are charged money to keep it with the BOE; this makes them more likely to dish out loans to us plebs;
When times are good and there’s a possible economic bubble, the rates are high to stop banks lending stupidly;
Either way we get screwed at the end of it

Because knowing you will lose 2% is better than not knowing how much you will lose. It’s a billionaire problem, I wouldn’t worry yourself about it;)
it either means the value of the money is headed up or there is an insane arbitrage in hand.
Well guess who the borrower is, the same folks that take your money at gunpoint every time you earn or spend a cent of it.
You have to choose who will destroy your capital the least, i.e. "give me your capital and i will lose you 2% pa which is better then the next manager who will lose you 5%". As bigbum says if you buy bonds, like German or Swiss bonds you do know how much you are going to lose. This is negative rates. Picking the best loser. In the alternative just hold gold or cash but that brings its own problems. Gold is volatile (advocates say its the safest, you can always trade with gold) as for cash, you need to stash it and parley inflation risk?

just a quick one people, i set the fee to lowest priority so its cheap, the transaction page recognises ive sent the bitcoin instantly and its marked as 'paid', but my wallet says pending for ages afterwards...is this normal? or is there a chance the coin bounces back to me?.. i ask because my wallet tells me theres a chance the transaction wont be complete with such low priority??

low fees slow down the confirmations of a transaction from miners. if things look weird just go to transaxe support and they will sort you.
also...my purchase has been paid twice according to the order page? it says i paid 0.0036 when it should be 0.0018??

its going to help with quality control and standards for sure
morrocco just legalised medical production
what does this mean for hash? it would seem that the government are doing this to protect the farmers against traffickers, on the one hand eventually this could be good for hash production but im kinda thinking if the government takes all the crop for medical export then it could be bad?
Id say its a good thing, there will be more and better hash. But you cant know how any government will go through with cannabis legislation..and Moroccans hash culture is huge.
What about India? Ive recently heard that their government officials are pushing people to start drinking alcohol instead of using cannabis...

Tenpester
society is just having a bad trip
the world is in splintering mode with people turning against each other over race, religion and politics at a rate that is still accelerating. how did we get to a point where nearly everyone on earth can feel this?
traditional media blames social media, arguing that the unifying force of a couple of news outlets kept us all on the same page. as self serving as that is i think they hit the right vein - only it goes much deeper.
a bad trip is the dark contrast to the self awareness of a good trip and if you've ever had one you know how alienating it can be. the existential madness you are experiencing is difficult to share with anyone, even your old rational self.
a different layer of consciousness emerges so profound the basic assumptions of your existence are called into question: can i stop breathing? is what im seeing real? who am i, really? every sensory input is subject to this new, unwelcome perspective. awareness of the mess you are in can be terrifying and a seemingly inescapable loop defines your bad trip.
the alternate reality offered by social media effects brain chemistry in a more sustainable manner, reaching the baser emotions through the classic plot devices of conflict and anticipation. though less penetrating than psychedelics, social media is far more addictive, with hours spent in its reality every day.
the collection of billions of brains that we call society is now wired into a network completely changing our view of reality. the algorithms that reinforce our most manipulable feelings form the queasy onset of this mutual trip.
as society enters the limbo between old and new realities it experiences the same panic, dissolution and alienation of the bad psychedelic trip. we don't know what to believe and fear rules our actions.
it seems we were better off before we looked into ourselves too deeply but there is no shaking this off. we can't go back to what we thought was rationality.

like any bad trip it doesn't last forever. although we can't go for a walk outside or sleep this off we can talk each other down.
once you are aware of bad trips they lose much of their power over you.

reviewers if you want me to believe you're not shills
and i do appreciate the shills, they have killer photos.
but it would help us all if you made comparisons amongst what you are reviewing.
some kind of ranking system say this is number 3 in quality but number 7 in price.
this will be kinder to the sellers as well because they will know how to compete with quality and price rather than guessing and making a drama when they get it wrong.
love and appreciation to everyone here

Well put, the average ratings from verified purchases are more informative than the reviews which often read more like love letters rather than criticism.
In no order RB, TGT, ULC and Smoggyman all been consistently top sellers for me over the months but it all comes down to what strains and type of grows are best for you, helps if you know what you want.
You're mad if you think all these topics and pics on here are from shills though, weed doesn't need pushing because people already want to buy it that is literally the only reason to be on this site :) The only seller(s) who need shills are the ones that get banned and come back under new names.

Gotta say I agree 100% I can't imagine there is anyone on here that would need to do it unless they got banned and tried to come back lol.
Vendor wise I think you've nailed it other than missing DIUK. They have had some of the best stuff I've smoked in years on here recently.

I've only had one order with DIUK but it was a banging bit. Some of their "wow" stuff lately has looked amazing. Will have to get in on some of it soon!
The wow mac 10 and ice cream cake are hands down the nest stuff I've had from LB. I've had a lot of strains from DIUK but the recent Wow range they have got in with their new grower is just next level compared to the rest.
I've given up on the reviews. They are pretty much useless as most people rate before they have even tried it which is a massive pet peeve for me. I now have an edibles guy and a vape guy and a backup seller. It just seems like this site has a bit of a dark vibe to it atm there seems to be a lot of people complaining about orders being wrong or lost and bad communication. I will also leave a review on the sellers page with a bit of detail about the product so people can know a bit more about the product instead of just reading lots of 10/10 but I haven't tried it yet reviews
Yeah man I dont get the whole review before you receive thing, i mean how on earth can you leave something helpful for others if you aint even tried it yet.
I always try to mention qualiry, stealth and how heloful vendors have been etc, its only fair.
I always try to mention qualiry, stealth and how heloful vendors have been etc, its only fair.
It drives me nuts. Can you think of anywhere else you would leave a review before trying. You don't walk past a restaurant, look at the menu in the window and then post how its great but your not going to eat there until next week
The rating/review system works out as a very vague guide on LB. You should be able to work out who will actually get you something in a reasonable time frame. And perhaps if their stealth is adequate.
As to the quality and detail of the products themselves, the reviews aren't particularly useful. Time for an analogy...
Let's say you're really into your music. The finest thing in your world might be a rare, crackly first edition vinyl of a virtually unknown band, released in the early 1970's. Are the pops and crackles in the audio a good thing? Is this better then music released last year? Does this even make sense to someone who only listens to opera... or jungle... or K-pop?
Most people are only in-tune with what the mass market presents. If you know better, those opinions are largely irrelevant.

Why we need rankings to see this at a glance.

I must've been lucky or selected the right people??
I do agree would be good to see product / seller rating split.
i like the blurb but not walls of text, im usually too baked to read it all.
Only had 5 strains so far and a hash. all were top notch.
i would say A******* give or take a star LOL

It could all be resolved if reviewers took a minute and a sentence or two to explain their ratings. Just putting a number is of no real help and rating because you’ve received it but yet to try is mind numbing...
Lol. I notice on Leafly a lot of reviews are written when totally baked and are very entertaining! (Particularly the ones that start with “Weeeeeeeeeee!!!”)
I want to know things are more or less as described, and aren't underweight.
Quality is subjective.
Quality is subjective.
It's a rough metric for me. I don't tell other people how to review and don't expect the same in return. Personally, with respect, I don't really worry about what people believe. If people want to go into detail and be more explanatory, that's up to them. The metric serves well as a trust device, not a wine taster's palate guide, at least for me.
I agree but the shills mainly come from vendors who review there own products get banned eventually then reappear under new names
nobody needs to push weed. people be lining up to buy it right now with how things are.
I appreciate all the reviews here; few have let me down. We need more buyer feedback not more criticism of it. Feel free to lead by example.
People oft moan about the rating system. but it's pretty obvious it's end purpose. The rating is for the overall sale; not just the weed itself. People are able to judge it however nicely or harshly they like with a review to help others below the item.

Out of curiosity who are you referring to? Anyone specific or just people who do reviews with photos in general?
I'm one of those people . Lol am I considered a shill? I'll praise the ass off a product if I like it, pictures included!
I much prefer outdoor organically grown herb. So it's "better" than puffed up hydro grown from my point of view. Others may describe my preferred herb as "no bag appeal/too loose/not dense/not stinky" etc
Therefore reviews are subjective as opinions are involved.
Hence a more complex score rating system would achieve nothing other than confusion.
imho ofc ;)

According to Wham, who describes himself as a “social worker, migrant, and human rights activist,” his protest was a show of solidarity with another unidentified climate activist questioned by police after taking a picture in the same spot with the words: “SG is better than oil.”

What is your smoking song?
luvly
I'll put this one on here just to represent basically all of Sublime's songs and of course the original by Marley.
I'm also big into underground hip hop, and hip hop from the 90s/00. Saw you talking about bone thugs for example, my shit.

Oh man, have loved Sublime ever since I heard them, such a cool and unique band. Shame it ended so soon.
Awesome song this and the original.
Nas, BIG, Pac, Eazy, Cube, Rakim, Red & Meth, DMX (yikes now tough), Snoop, Wayne, Outkast - the list goes on man these dudes were all I heard growing up. Admittedly it has been a while since I've visited the decade, I'm about to take a trip back in time and get all nostalgic. Cheers. edit: can't forget Beasite Boys

I always find myself putting on one of three albums whenever I get some quality bud and have an hour or two to kill.
ATCQ - Low End Theory
Nas - Illmatic
Wu - 36 Chambers
For those times I'm not in a hip hop mood I tend to listen to some RHCP or The Doors or whatever I have on loop in my head for that day lol.

Why thank you, kind sir. I may be wrong but I'm sure Nas wrote and preformed that album at 19/20 which is just bananas to say the least. Such lyricism and flow for such a young man. "Rappers I'm monley flippin with the funky rythm I be kickin,
Musician, inflictin' composition, of pain
I'm like Scarface sniffin' cocaine
Holdin' a M16, see with the pen I'm extreme" first lines are maaaaaad lol

It is crazy, to be thinking so critically at that age while delivering a strong message wrapped up in smart word play, bars and insane flow. Some people just have raw talent man.
Illmatic = Hip Hop

Don't have a go to song exactly, depends on the mood. Would say hip hop like Gu, J-Cole, Tribe, Pharcyde, few others. Also love some Thin Lizzy, Rory Gallagher, Black Sabboth, Led Zeplin. Also love some Vaya Con Dias.....these are just off the top of the head, so many more.
I really came here to comment as I can see hip hop, rock, blues, folk all down through the list and am planning on working my way through it but don't have the time right now.
I want to leave this album here because it is great to smoke to, and great to fuck to, lol.....

My man, I really like this :) Thanks for the contribution, I actually didn't know I knew of Air till I heard Sexy Boy playing. Also, this sounds like a great album to take you through a LSD trip, I think I'll find out.
Of course, love the spread of music, thanks for starting this topic. Already headbanging to a few artists found.
A lot of people actually know their songs pretty well, but don't know them. Haha, that's what I like to hear. I have never done tripping but would definitely contribute to the overall mood/vibes. One of my favourite underappreciated albums....of course just in my opinion

Top band mate, went to see them last year in Manchester unreal, probably best gig I saw all year, smoked a few joints just before they came on was a different experience
Oh man, blast from the past right there. Love this band! So chill and bass heavy. These guys did some awesome live shows with Iration Steppas back in the day. Nice shout, man.
Big tune. The little pockets of flows he jumps in and out of while delivering a potent message.. mad.
Any song from the hillside airstrip album by 10 ft ganja plant
This trey songz tune lit.. But depends on mood
not seen that film, looks up my street for sure. But yes it has the same 80's/Cyberpunk feel. I whack the ファニーデス (Love Letter to Japan) album on while smoking and just get lost in it completely.
Yeah this group is so important, continually pushing boundaries. The entire project is fascinating.
haha I actually remember all his old stuff... some stuff was pretty decent. mostly shite though lol
I agree, most of the stuff he did under Chipmunk is mega corny nowadays, probably back then too hahah. I rate his diss tracks though he brought some life back to the scene in those days.
Positive vibes from this one.

How Can the Stock Market Go Up When So Many People Are Unemployed?
It's the same as any market, if there is enough buying prices go up. In this case most of the buying is from government central banks. They can print…
The stock market is not the economy. The equity market is being supported from all angles, be it historically low Interest rates, meagre bond yields, central bank intervention like wells said, Even just a disconnect from fundamentals. Also worth bearing in mind that 5 big tech names make up nearly 20% of the SP500, which have performed incredibly during the pandemic.
Well put jarjar and where there is a disconnect there is an arbitrage. I think we are looking at the biggest short in history. The markets can't stay disconnected from reality forever.
I share this belief, but they can stay disconnected for longer than we think. The perfect trade if improperly timed can lead to ruin, even if all the other stars align. But truthfully, irrational exuberance and over speculation lead to one thing, and this pack is nearly out of aces ?
It's the same as any market, if there is enough buying prices go up. In this case most of the buying is from government central banks. They can print money and buy stocks to keep stock prices up. This buys some time for an economy on hold.
The Unemployment rate has absolutely 0 correlation with the global stock market . Some stocks prices are extremely low, and some are rallying beyond historical data (as it does). Overall, yes the S&p 500 and FTSE 100 are doing very well under the circumstances, and this is due to big banks providing liquidity to brokerage houses for retail and institutional traders to open positions, and by the looks of it traders are doing well (hence a good outlook for the stock market). Back to your point, the unemployment rate strictly affects currency growth in the country it relates to e.g if UK's unemployment rate dropped by 2% yoy then we would see a decline in the GBP/USD etc etc...hope that makes sense to you.
Because all of this is made up and capitalism constantly needs justifications for its own existence, which is why stock market information appears to matter on mainstream news outlets.
A lot of those unemployed people are day trading stocks and this contributes directly to the effect you see.
have you heard of the paradise papers...... a portfolio of business that will do very well when people are forced into debt! investers(rich f@#kers) include people like the queen, prince charles(soon to be king, which is why the family have been trimming all the fat so he can start a fresh!), tony blair, gordon brown, you see where this is going.
Heres a thought.....the last person to try to take down the federal reserve...JFK and we all know what happened there

Heres a thought.....the last person to try to take down the federal reserve...JFK and we all know what happened there
#richpoorgapexpansion
These all seem like good explanations but I have a question:
Has this situation happened before and what was the aftermath?
Has this situation happened before and what was the aftermath?
Has there been a global pandemic before? Yes. What was the aftermath? Depending on what point in history you wish to reference, would always yield a different answer. What strikes me is not the situation, but the environment in which it happens. A situation may have happened before but the environment may permit a much different outcome. Is this a health crisis or an economic one? Historically, how do we approach them individually? And more importantly, what are the risks in mistaking one for the other?

What I observe is more like dis-favouritism. Clearly the wall generally likes a combination of new and/or popular, hotness is what reddit calls this. But it also a censor, and what it's looking for is any kind of trouble. Yeah murky, but the fact that anyone can sell means there has been lots and lots of attempts. Anything that smells like this to the algo is what brings out the censor games.
If anyone could bribe their way out of this I would think they could immediately leverage the situation in their own favour by threatening to publish what happened.

Can’t buy Bitcoin!
Would appreciate help here - I’ve tried buying Bitcoin from 3 places- Paxful, Coinbase and Binance - and transactions keep being cancelled. My bank (HSBC) says it’s nothing to do with them. I’m waiting on replies from the Bitcoin platforms but it’s incredibly frustrating and if anyone has any idea why this is happening I’d be v grateful as I really want to purchase items! :)
Your card has definitely been locked due to a cancellation or chargeback. It can take up to 7 days to unlock. Do a transfer instead mate.
Managed to sort issues with the bank and Coinbase and happily making purchases. Many thanks to everyone for tips and suggestions, much appreciated.
Local bitcoin always works well its Peer 2 peer and does not require ID which is nice;)
Using my debit card. I get a message saying that it’s been processed but then it fails or is cancelled. I suspect my bank doesn’t support purchasing Bitcoin, in which case I’d rather they just told me!
I used localbitcoins last time I bought, got more for my money than when I bought with bittylicious
Hi
I face similar issue with coinmama; my bank blocks one of 10 tries with the card.
Less problems with wire transfer but still randomly .
Hope this helps

Sounds like the issue is with your bank if they're not allowing the transaction to be processed. I use Coinbase myself and bar the fees being a bit steep I found it very straight forward and quick. If you just send them a valid I.D and bank account you get Level 2 verification within a few hours and anytime I've purchased BTC it's been instant.
Bittylicious are also fairly easy to use and can send the BTC directly to the address provided by the Vendor. I think Vikosh has a helpful step by step guide on LB Help or else in Noob Safe Space. I don't have the link handy unfortunately but I'll try find it if I can.

Thanks - I think it must be my bank, despite them denying it, because it’s happening with 3 crypto currency platforms. Coinbase was quite easy to set up and is by far the most straightforward to use so I might have to set up an account with a different bank just for this. It’s crazy!

Ethereum will win the crypto race. It has already really, just people dont quite get that yet.
And yes the seperation is important.

As a technology it's winning but with an unlimited number of coins it hasn't been much of a store of value. Bitcoin is a gold standard.

It's Unknown How Modafinil Works
I was evangelizing to a classmate about afinil and he asked this basic question that stumped me. I looked it up and yeah no nobody has a clue.
Freaked me out a little.
Freaked me out a little.
True, if the symptoms subsided, then that was the cure back then. The history of Aspirin is interesting, First used 1000s of years ago to relieve pain and has been refined and enhanced since, just like another plant that springs to mind ;-)
Here’s another mind job lol, no one knows how tylenol works either, or aleve ( acetaminophen and naproxen)

America 2024 - What Would 8 years of Trump Reap?
It seems like proportional representation would give people a voice. Otherwise outrage is the only way to garner attention.
Bankruptcy if history is any precedent
Well, bankruptcy is how the Federal Reserve, a private bank, gained control over the US government in the first place.
4 fucking times? That's not playing the game that's playing everyone you can - which is exactly what he's doing by running for President.
Trump University was another fuck you to anyone that believes in him.
It shouldn't be a game! It should be a second chance. When it becomes a game, it's time to change the laws.
Fascism according to the New Yorker
He'll just be a puppet for some real money interests, like all US presidents of the last 20 odd years. 2 party system is laughable.
It goes back much farther than 20 years... at least 100, or more.
The 2 party system is the biggest joke of all. There is a glimmer of hope...proportional representation. It is not widely used in the US, but is more common in Europe, and other countries. That's why you may see news about a country having problems forming a workable government after an election, because the parties are forced to work with whomever the people elect. As opposed to our 2 party system where we are forced to choose between the 'lesser of two evils'!
This group has been working to promote it in the US, and give good examples, and information.

Initiative: Own Page Visible to Post or Vote on Others
I'll often click on the author of an appealing or more significantly, controversial post and find their page is not visible. This seems one sided and unfair when the post is about another bigga. There are plenty of other privacy protections and one does not need to be visible to purchase or make reviews so I don't see a lot of downside here.
When you make any post you are speaking in public. I don't see why your other public statements should be hidden, they are also public statements. As for others statements on you that is a primary mechanism of accountability here. Is there anything else on the page?
Maybe some kind of "context throttle" so you can't just dive into a person's life's posts if people feel sensitive about this but the real issue is vote throttling so access is not abused.
I think just a switch, close your page and then all your posts across the site are invisible so if someone has a panic they have this control switch. I'm sure that it can be abused but it need not be a permanent also a kind of throttle.
I see folks shitposting and hiding. Their victims are often sellers that can't hide nor can they retaliate. It's an invitation for trouble as this community grows.
I agree, as a self policing community we all inevitably become a police department. Like any cop I'm lazy and would rather have intrinsic crime prevention than get all into some petty domestic case.
I think all the resistance against this is really 1 thing: people don't want to get posted ON, they don't want to be the subject of posts because it doesn't seem to have much utilty besides getting trolled on.

Partially paid
I have made an order and sent the correct amount, but it only shows as partially paid in my order. It is not my first order and so I know it is nothing to do with fees being deducted on their end. The exact amount was sent from my bitcoin wallett that should have been. What should I do?
