Orangina was one of my favourite orange strains ever. Really lovely stuff. I always hope to see it back in your listings.
I think I prefer regular mimosa to the Evo too in terns of the pure old orangeness I often seek out. The Orangina was spot on for me. I've never seen it anywhere else either. But honestly, any new orange leaning strains are welcome on LB. Seems it's not what the cool kids are after so much these days.

Whilst I didn’t mark it down; as I never do if it’s decent - there’s defo something with this pheno of your ICC that is more than a little hazey as I’ve messaged you about.
I’m not more knowledgable than Barney’s, but I know my strains, some people just don’t get on with the haze taste/smell etc.

It is very true they are probably people with cancer themselves who would probably laugh at that one I just read it having a nose at people's jokes fancying a laugh and stumbled upon these . Made my night reading these I also think ther was more to it than having cancer I don't personally think he finds it funny for people to have cancer there was alot more to it than that . And just remember people with cancer still have of humour and can stilll laugh

Arrived today, stealth on point as always with KiG.
This stuff is special (ICC), as soon as I opened the bag I was met with strong sweet creamy goodness. Hints of vanilla/pine and a little earthy too.
It's in perfect condition, not too sticky or too dry. Smokes clean and tasty with a hybrid of a stone and high but leaning further towards more stoned.
I didn't weigh it because I trust KiG but honestly it looks over-weight if anything, he also chucked some bubble in which is appreciated 👍
I know he is low on stock ATM but I highly recommend trying his current and/or future crops as everything I've had from him has been top drawer.

I don't remember the GCC being overly grapey, but it put me and everyone I know on our arses. My mate shat himself. Had it twice from 2 different vendors on here many months apart and it was consistent in looks and effects. Really wish I had more of that.

This was something of a novelty for me; I’ve been a weed fiend for over 2 decades now but never been a distillate guy - at all. Never even tried it, despite knowing a few people who have converted to using them exclusively. Guess I’m just stuck in my ways, must be getting old…

I know, I know - these carts are all the rage these days, but I’m very much an old school flower guy. My heels have only dug in further on this since switching to dry herb vaping. A new world of flavours has opened to me and all that blah blah that you either already know or already don’t care about. These carts….I’ve just had no interest tbh. Not against them or anything, just…gimmie that nice squishy old school bud please. So bless KiG for sending me - ME, perhaps the least eligible person there is - a freebie of his labour of love to sample and comment on. The equivalent of Hattori Hanzo giving his latest sword to Michael J Fox instead of Beatrix Kiddo. But there it was, a generous and totally unexpected 1g of distillate in a 510 threaded cart sat waiting for me in my order box. I’ll admit I had to consult Google to figure out what I was supposed to do to get the best out of it and, well…how to even get it to work. Talk about amateur hour.
I ended up on Amazon buying this rechargeable pen for the occasion: https://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B086SXQMNT - it has 3 temp settings that have distinct potency hits and works an absolute treat as far as I’m concerned. Would recommend if you’re newb like me. Super simple to use, long battery life. Pukka.
Disclaimer before getting into the high: I haven’t had the pleasure of trying the Red Red Wine bud, so I can’t compare the effects of the flower vs distillate.
The High - Round 1 - TKO
Well slap my tolerance’s ass and call me Madonna. This was my Like A Virgin moment - transported right back to my “very first time”. Admittedly because I probably had wayy too much on my first go. The recommendation with carts is to heat it up then breathe it in gently for a couple of seconds. That should do you, because this is strong AF extract. My noob ass turned up the heat to the middle setting and hit it thrice with 5 second puffs each. Hello Perseverance Rover, can I join you for dinner up here on Mars?
A few minutes from the third puff I was transported to a couch locked prison and had to give it a few minutes for the room to stop spinning. This is with a sky high tolerance too. I soon overcame it though and rode out one of those “holy shit, I am definitely very high” trips that usually comes with a long T-break. I’ll be honest, I don’t remember enough about that experience to comment on it’s properties other than it taught me to respect the product and dial back on the intake.
Round 2 + beyond - Unanimous Points Victory
Next round on the pen, I absolutely nailed the method and level of respect needed and was able to actually enjoy all of its amazing properties. This time it was on a Saturday afternoon, enjoying a couple of drinks with my partner. Middle setting of the vape pen linked above, 2x 2-second puffs, hold and exhale. A few minutes later I’m in heaven. The best way I can think to describe the high is like a warm blanket is wrapped around everything. Extremely content, chilled, talkative…just an absolutely delightful place to be in. Sat talking with my partner, we’re enjoying deep conversation and I feel lucky to be with her. Sat holding my daughter while she snoozes, I can’t help but got lost in the moment of the cuddle for a while. We’re talking full on, old school peace & love here, maaan. 2 puffs is all it took for me to sat in that state for roughly 3 hours, accompanied by a few whiskies which will have helped to prolong the sesh I’m sure.
My next experience was arguably even better - a Christmas night out. One of my friends in the group is also somewhat of a weed fiend (more of an edibles guy usually) so I took the pen out for us to enjoy while out for Christmas drinks. What. A. Night. That same warm blanket feeling engrossed us both and we couldn’t stop talking about what a great night we were having. One of those where you can’t help but lament the ridiculous legal system around bud in our country when it feels THIS good and makes you feel this chilled and non-combative. Once again, it was a warm blanket feel perfect for the type of pubs we frequent - real ale and whiskey type establishments, where the lighting is low and convo flows. We had a puff or 2 between pubs, probably 6 in total each over an 8 hour session, and we were noticeably on top form; chatty and content, perfectly happy stood in a crowded pub, sat at the bar; whatever - and have to say this distillate pairs particularly well with a sesh on the booze as it never seems to overpower or push the intoxication to the extreme. Is that why it’s called Red Red Wine? Because the perfect pair is the devils grape?…I’ll have to test this theory.
With regards to taste, I simply can’t pick out any notes on the same level as a good bud, so for me the taste and nose experience doesn’t compare to something like KiG's EVO. Whether this is normal for distillate I don’t know. That’s not to say the flavour isn’t nice. It’s a pleasant experience. I get a thick red wine feel on the texture and it is as smooth as a well decanted velvety Merlot on the intake; barely even realise it’s working on the inhale until I exhale and see a surprisingly amount of vapour escape. All the flavour is on the exhale for me, a hint of sweetness but mostly evocative of floral wine, followed by a not-undelightful feeling of stickiness on the teeth as the resinous liquid envelopes and tries to escape my mouth.
Conclusion
An amazing intro to distillates for Dayman. I still prefer flower overall but oh my, this is simply perfect for social occasions where you want a quick hitting, long lasting high because a vape sesh isn’t approriate (for example, between pubs or a quick couple of seconds away from a partner while making a drink in the kitchen etc). I can see the appeal for sure if you want zero smells while still achieving a deep high contentment that doesn’t set in with an overpowering crescendo like edibles often do. Treated with respect and used somewhat sparringly - I use this once a week or so in order to not obliterate my tolerance - this product lasts ages and delivers an exceptional balanced experience every time. I will be back for another. The convenience and hybrid style of high makes it a great and discreet weed outlet for social occasions and given KiG’s track record with flower I have no doubt I’ve been very lucky to try his particular distillate wares as my first experience with them.

Once again, it was a warm blanket feel perfect for the type of pubs we frequent - real ale and whiskey type establishments, where the lighting is low and convo flows. We had a puff or 2 between pubs, probably 6 in total each over an 8 hour session, and we were noticeably on top form; chatty and content, perfectly happy stood in a crowded pub, sat at the bar; whatever - and have to say this distillate pairs particularly well with a sesh on the booze as it never seems to overpower or push the intoxication to the extreme. Is that why it’s called Red Red Wine? Because the perfect pair is the devils grape?…I’ll have to test this theory.
With regards to taste, I simply can’t pick out any notes on the same level as a good bud, so for me the taste and nose experience doesn’t compare to something like KiG's EVO. Whether this is normal for distillate I don’t know. That’s not to say the flavour isn’t nice. It’s a pleasant experience. I get a thick red wine feel on the texture and it is as smooth as a well decanted velvety Merlot on the intake; barely even realise it’s working on the inhale until I exhale and see a surprisingly amount of vapour escape. All the flavour is on the exhale for me, a hint of sweetness but mostly evocative of floral wine, followed by a not-undelightful feeling of stickiness on the teeth as the resinous liquid envelopes and tries to escape my mouth.
Conclusion
An amazing intro to distillates for Dayman. I still prefer flower overall but oh my, this is simply perfect for social occasions where you want a quick hitting, long lasting high because a vape sesh isn’t approriate (for example, between pubs or a quick couple of seconds away from a partner while making a drink in the kitchen etc). I can see the appeal for sure if you want zero smells while still achieving a deep high contentment that doesn’t set in with an overpowering crescendo like edibles often do. Treated with respect and used somewhat sparringly - I use this once a week or so in order to not obliterate my tolerance - this product lasts ages and delivers an exceptional balanced experience every time. I will be back for another. The convenience and hybrid style of high makes it a great and discreet weed outlet for social occasions and given KiG’s track record with flower I have no doubt I’ve been very lucky to try his particular distillate wares as my first experience with them.
Disclaimer: this was written back in January and I forgot to post. I have since finished the cart and am pestering KiG for more of this. A great addition to the stash that I'm sad to see finished.
Brilliant review. I had exactly the same experience of being super high and stoned when I first tried a live resin cart. The only problem is, that also ruins your already high tolerance. Often worth it though! It's the reason I haven't fired up the e-nail and Klein Recycler for a good couple of months, despite having very fine imported concentrates to go into it.
Cheers Rux, always good to hear of similar experiences from kindred spirits. Just looked up the Klein Recycler and they look very nice. Do you have a particular one and rate it highly? The next round for me on the VAS journey is an e-nail set up (I was thinking the SS Zeal) and I also need a bit of glass to complement both it and the TM 2.
I have a Klein Recycler and also a Beaker Bong made by a company called Freeze Pipe. Same company makes a really good e-nail, and it's SO easy to use. Maybe too easy...

So, we all know the mimosa is orangey zesty greatness and this round is no different.
The blue gelato is INCREDIBLE like a weed cocktail maker has nailed a split in flavours, flavour starts to go down the blue route but never fully develops, and instead transmogrifies into this creamy almost bitter like back note exhale!!
I got some water melon skittlz and coco too, so I’ll update once I’ve done those.
If I smoke any more that hoovering won’t get done and Mrs apex will kill me as I’m already in the dog house

I’m smoking it now and it’s another example of your expertise as you know I smoke pure joints only and it’s bloody lovely so naturally flavoured unlike some mimosas that taste more like terps for carts . Burns well and smooth and I’m stoned in a good way, it’s going in my special glass jar ! Your lucky I have no idea where you live as right now I want to hug you and I’m not even a hugger lol. Mine is bulletproof. I've done 160+ capsules and I've only had to clean the screen once. To me that's bulletproof

Pax 3 is good particularly if you use the app ( no longer available on iPhone). However I think whatever vape you get it's not the same high as a joint or bong imo.

They are absolutely banging. You've knocked it out the park with these. Seriously, you may end up with a bit of a rush on your hands.
I've never been a fan of the usual distillate carts with added terps that you see elsewhere. I've used them in a fix, for discretion and convenience, but even the well-rated ones don't really do it for me.
The distillate with live resin carts can be decent though. Dr Extracts does a nice line of those - and I've been reaching for those a little more frequently than previous pen vapes.
Your Rosin Vape, however, takes it even further. The flavour, hit and potency are immense. That CCell atomizer in the pen is definitely best of the bunch for that sort of liquid... and to be fair, it does work very well and very intuitively. But personally, I'm not totally into the disposable nature of it. Not wanting to be preachy, but that's plastic with lithium inside... I could see myself getting through quite a lot of these in the future, I'll feel bad chucking all that in the bin!
Which leads me on to a slight aside. I'm big into high end vaping - for herb/extracts and also nicotine e-liquid. I have a vast collection of atomizers and devices - some of which I can adapt to vape pretty much anything...
Would it be possible to buy just the rosin liquid - maybe in a 3g vial or something? I'd promise to post pictures of it in action on some la-di-dah handmade artisan mod! ;)
Anyways, congratulations on these, dude. For what these are, I don't see how they could be done any better. I'll be coming back for more of these again and again.

Your first Northern Lights batch was probably my favourite smoke of last year, so I'm looking forward to trying the second batch bit I've got stashed away! Also smashed a load of that Acapulco Gold... I get together with a few mates every few weeks to hang out in a shed and make music. That was an all-time favourite for the crew :) Watermelon Skittlez was good too - but fairly similar to what I get elsewhere so not super exciting for me personally.

Which leads me on to a slight aside. I'm big into high end vaping - for herb/extracts and also nicotine e-liquid. I have a vast collection of atomizers and devices - some of which I can adapt to vape pretty much anything...
Would it be possible to buy just the rosin liquid - maybe in a 3g vial or something? I'd promise to post pictures of it in action on some la-di-dah handmade artisan mod! ;)

I have intended to write up some proper reviews of your herb too (but I'm a stoner... lol) maybe they'll happen soon though! Your first Northern Lights batch was probably my favourite smoke of last year, so I'm looking forward to trying the second batch bit I've got stashed away! Also smashed a load of that Acapulco Gold... I get together with a few mates every few weeks to hang out in a shed and make music. That was an all-time favourite for the crew :) Watermelon Skittlez was good too - but fairly similar to what I get elsewhere so not super exciting for me personally.
Got the Red Red Wine and LSD to look forward to as well. They're still sealed up and waiting for action - Red Wine will get it tomorrow I reckon :)
The 6 or so rosins I've had were also excellent. Delicious, potent but maybe a little mucky to vape... but that's the nature of flower rosin. I get through my live resins etc in my usual dab sessions, but these have been nice to mix it up a little.

Only seeing this post now... many many months later. KIG kindly threw in one of these vapes with an order of the knockout Northern Lights & mix of Rosins. It got laid to one side in the excitement of unpacking, then the benchtests of the worthy bud and nectar did the rest...
I got back to it some weeks after and remember the smoothness and taste as more natural than most vapes I've tried. I use vape carts only occasionally but appreciated the extra, in plain sight discretion the disposable form factor allowed. The potency was there with just a few drags.
Just wanted to close this loop. That NL btw was a weed highlight for me last year - house stank like 'Dam in 1990. Artisan wares don't come cheap but KIG's are a relative bargain. Will be back your way soon, current and pipeline offerings are too tempting not to.

The spritz is straight tropical cat sick / piss!!! - she hates it and moans as I grin and remove my snout from the bag. - this fucked me up, I rolled a quick one but waffled all this before the actual smoke report!

It arrived and you're spot on as knew you would be, Apex. Feels like Christmas day opening the box haha. I don't want to be too gushing but I don't see how or where KiG gets marked down, incredible buds to smell, smoke and simply look at.

Ohs has and old school proper musty skunky smell and taste and strong
Tropicuz sit s between ohs and spritz being a musty skunky bit tropical pissy
Don’t sleep on these people, some lovely smoke
