I'm not sure if they're an actual big problem, but I believe sending vapes is an issue partly because of the recent disposable ban and partly because they contain batteries. They're more likely to get stopped than the average bit of "vegetable matter" in a vac seal lol

Edit: as far as a North/South divide on vape seizures, I think they're more of a problem when going from GB to NI because of the Windsor framework (having to declare what a package contains)

A vendor has stated that more than 1 is being seized in Ireland and Scotland and I'm curious to see how much of a problem this is.
With a new ban on something has there been a step up in security to stop those pesky vape shops

Makes much more sense now, and I've definitely not seen or heard of them seizing non THC vapes. Obviously Dispos are banned now, but that only affects the shops still selling them.

You can carry dispo nic vapes legally you just can't sell them.
I'm talking about seized in the post.
The components can be picked up easily with cheap scanning machinery where vegetation cannot.

I know an easy way around, I have been sending to NI without any issues so far.

Honestly, I wouldn't worry too much about the customs form. The seller could declare it as "novelty sweets" and they're EXTREMELY unlikely to check. If it's not taxable or dangerous they really don't care

You don't go in the post office to send your parcels do you mate? You're gonna be nicked pretty quickly if one of your parcels get opened. NI parcels are often opened and there are often dogs in the sorting office in NI.

No, I don't send anything! I was told that I couldn't receive packages from England now because of new customs forms. The seller didn't want to go through it. Not entirely sure what the paperwork is TBH.
