i just got a squirrel stoned
not kidding and this isn't a euphemism. i was in the garden vaping flower and a squirrel climbed halfway up a tree beside me. it stopped, twitched it's nose in my smoke and then began to wag it's tail! i swear we were bro-ing out and its eyes were starting to look glassy until my neighbor's lawn mower started up.
Hehe...and then there was this rabbit in a waistcoat that kept pulling out his pocket watch...damn this is good gear lol...

I'll never forget that Casper OG, i've been hopelessly trying to find those terps again but no luck, best strain i've tried in 17 years!
i remember buying a gram of it just to test, then the moment it arrived and i got a whiff of it i immediately ordered as much of it as i could afford which was only another 3.5g, and then a few days later the pope was gone for good : (

Pope was expensive (at the time) but it was man worth the price! Maybe another vendor can snag us some Casper OG! It’ll have to be damn good to match The Popes though right bro!? 😁
I second that 👍😻
Whilst I think Umme from Druids Magic was the finest home grown ever, if I could only take one single strain to a desert island for the rest of my days it would be Smoggy’s Mimosa.
I’m half tempted to do a pilgrimage to Portland to see if I can find it🥴
Whatever happened to Smoggyman? 😞

there was a sativa that next day uk had way back when, it may not be my best strain since but it really stands out. i had only bought off the street before and i simply couldn't believe anything about the experience. a miracle!

guiltless game for 6 year olds?
a small lego set takes up the same space as a phone basically. just sayin
Depending on their age. Trust me.
Don’t give them any games at all. Don’t let them have your phone.
We wish we’d never let them have computer games now. It’s all they want to do. (5 and 8)
Leave it as long as you possibly can. And limit their time.
It’s caused us no end of trouble.

My understanding is that there's a service called apple play or similar.
It's a subscription which is lame, but for a small cost you get access to a large number of games. The real boon of this service is that none of the games have predatory or manipulative cash shops.

yeah and there's a fair bit of cringe with all these mouths, i've never encountered a medicine man of any kind that i trust completely but when they spit scientific facts i take them in.

High Times Top Strains 1977
1970s cannabis dispute settlement, there's a prompt
I started smoking weed in '70, and the main difference I can tell between late 70s and now is that back then sinsemilla was just a part of the market, with a lot of packages containing seeds and more leaf and stem (amount varied with price). Today it's all sinsemilla (so much so that the term isn't even used anymore). The quality is pretty much the same. We had thai sticks and Hawaiian that certainly equaled top shelf strains of today (as far as anyone could tell - there wasn't much precision on reporting THC levels). I'm happy with the situation, but I stopped smoking between about '83 and 2009 (job), and wasn't amazed by any changes in potency; just the fact that it's all sinsemilla. I did feel silly when I first got back in the market and asked a seller whether or not his product was sinsemilla and he didn't know wtf I was talking about. I quickly found out that was a stupid question... :>)
I remember references to what I thought was the "sense" now I get that was sinsimilla :) Thanks
Yep, that's what it was called. Just Spanish for "without seed". Speaking of Spanish, if we could find Oaxacan sinse we considered ourselves lucky, because it was just about as good as Thai but cheaper. Availability (in my part of Texas) wasn't reliable at all though. Now, it's like going to the weed supermarket. We're living in the future in that sense. Life is good and getting better...
Started smoking back in the 80s red leb ,black.good shit joints or hot knives they rocked.
Yeah bro the stuff with the cloth attached to it, red leb think there was gold leb too it was lovenly stuff. Early 90s.
And green leb. Amazing days. Wasn’t the strongest, but tasted amazing.
We also used to get straws filled with green oil. Either spread some on a rizla or just chase the dragon with it. God knows what it’s done to my lungs.

I was there from 1972-ish, it was mostly pretty good in the Uk depending who you knew, or what grew ;) Avoiding the street ofc.
Most of the pictured weed was grown outdoors on a hillside without fertilisers, boosters and the other shit habitually used today.
I partook in the some of the countries of origin at the time too, thank you Magic Bus. I preferred hash at the time and still do, real Temple Balls were trippy, Leb was a knockout and the black in the Dam was unbelievable and so on. Impossible to get around here, so pleased to have found LB at last!

How did people live with that? With the way weed has gone it's a different world and are kids will think the same as are weed lol
Meh I’d still smoke it. I bet all of these would get you high as a motherfucker. Because you wouldn’t be used to them at all.
If i got any of that in the post I'd probably raise a dispute. Though I did buy thai stick and brick pack in the 90's. Wouldn't mind seeing a picture of the hash scene back then. All the hash bars look the same now. Just with a different picture under the cellophane. Picture looks like it came off someone's home printer. No finesse to hash bars these days.
first 'grass' I ever smoked looked like Acapulco Gold number 5, first proper weed I got fucked from was like the Thai in number 10

Einstein: The universal force is LOVE
A letter from Albert Einstein to his daughter, Lieserl on The Universal Force of Love
“When I proposed the theory of relativity, very few understood me, and what I will reveal now to transmit to mankind will also collide with the misunderstanding and prejudice in the world.
I ask you to guard the letters as long as necessary, years, decades, until society is advanced enough to accept what I will explain below.
There is an extremely powerful force that, so far, science has not found a formal explanation to. It is a force that includes and governs all others, and is even behind any phenomenon operating in the universe and has not yet been identified by us. This universal force is LOVE.
When scientists looked for a unified theory of the universe they forgot the most powerful unseen force. Love is Light, that enlightens those who give and receive it. Love is gravity, because it makes some people feel attracted to others. Love is power, because it multiplies the best we have, and allows humanity not to be extinguished in their blind selfishness. Love unfolds and reveals. For love we live and die. Love is God and God is Love.
This force explains everything and gives meaning to life. This is the variable that we have ignored for too long, maybe because we are afraid of love because it is the only energy in the universe that man has not learned to drive at will.
To give visibility to love, I made a simple substitution in my most famous equation. If instead of E = mc2, we accept that the energy to heal the world can be obtained through love multiplied by the speed of light squared, we arrive at the conclusion that love is the most powerful force there is, because it has no limits.
After the failure of humanity in the use and control of the other forces of the universe that have turned against us, it is urgent that we nourish ourselves with another kind of energy…
If we want our species to survive, if we are to find meaning in life, if we want to save the world and every sentient being that inhabits it, love is the one and only answer."

I don’t think any of this is new. Didn’t Nolan try to shoehorn in and expand on this theory in interstellar where he had the character Brand’s love for an astronaut gone before her, is so strong that it’s one of the only other forces that can exist cross dimensionally apart from gravity.
Call me a romantic but I find it hard to believe you or many humans love and hate equally - outside of sport.
I guess we have more wars than orgies! 🤭
But seriously, if we accepted that emotional energy is just that- and energy is a constant that can neither be created nor destroyed, in the whole of human experience would there be more positive energy than negative?…I’d like to think so…but….

The Royals Should Pay Slavery Reparations
Actually the remaining institution of Rome is starting to pay up. Windsors should do the same.
The Royals Should Pay Slavery Reparations
Who among us today:
- stands on the most wealth compounded from past sins?
- are the clearest descendants of those responsible?
- can most afford it?
If there is any credible role for these living vestiges of the past it is to account for it.

Would be the smartest thing they could do, what they fuck are they doing otherwise - besides providing testimony to inequality?
England outlawed slavery in the 19th century and actively fought and stopped those that were in the business of slavery.
Back in the day it wasn't like there was one country enslaving another, it was a world wide business and England stood up to the world to stop it. England has already had it's anti-slavery moment, it took place over a hundred years ago and since then we have been against it.
There were African tribes capturing and selling people to slavers, do you want them to pay as well, and who do you want them to pay?
The Chinese and Persians also took slaves from Africa, they castrated them.
Pulling down statues and washing over history is going to do more to help people to forget that it ever happened, we should leave the statues up and educate people so that we know to never ever let it happen again.
Taking away someone's freedom without reason and trading in people's misery is about as bad as it gets and I repeat, we should never let it happen again. Pulling down statues is another step in the direction of helping people forget that it ever happened and if we can't learn from the past then we are in danger of repeating it.

regardless the royals personally owned slaves and here they still are able to pay up for it.
You idiot, lots of people owned slaves, it was kind of a thing.... Let me guess they also need to pay war reparations to the horses of the light brigades descendants? The fact you buy drugs online rather than work on your mental deficiencies is astonishing.
just wondering how does that 2 wrongs make a right routine work out for you? my experience and that of the history of man is that it's toxic as fuck.
and what about the 1.5 million white slaves taken from europe by africans? dont they count?
or was reading real history too complicated for you? clown.
we abolished slavery while african chiefs were putting cages full of slaves on the beaches waiting for profit.
over 2000 british servicement died fighhting slavers while it was still legal in every other country on earth.
more blacks owned slaves than whites did...and over 90% of slaves in africa died before they reached sdale.
but dont let the truth effect your ill informed media driven propaganda.

Hindsight is twenty twenty, as they say. It is, however, useless when we are aimlessly stumbling through the present moment to survive. I liken the experience to growing older and maturing. If we were to atone for every sin we accumulated through childhood, we'd mostly ALL be skint, black, white, yellow, brown, or rainbow-coloured. If you are always looking back over your shoulder, you'll never look forward.
Can we talk about how our king has done more for equality, against slavery and human trafficking than any African monarch.
The fact you can post this and think "ooo take that Britain" just shows what kind of pathetic warped individual you are, I bet you also agree with "from the river to the sea"
This country is a bastion of human rights, fairness and equality and has been longer than any single country on earth. Posting shit like this just demonstrates not everyone SHOULD have the right to be here.

I think you are cleverly proving the point that slavery exists today. It all starts with an arbitrarily chosen ruler and ignorant obedience.
Who should they pay reparations to?
The African countries that are still using their own people as slaves?
The African countries that are still using their own people as slaves?
that would exclude all the descendants of slaves since they were taken away from those countries
Why do descendants deserve anything? Would they move back to Africa now? They probably have a better life where they are.
The Romans enslaved most of Europe but you don't see Europeans begging for a handout from Italy. Same with the Vikings and Denmark.

Absolute bollocks. Read your own article. It says "Leaders of the Jesuit Conference of Canada and the United States". Nothing to do with Rome. Just a few North Americans virtue signalling
The continent of Africa circa the trans-atlantic slave trade was inhabited by peoples of various tribes and factions who were engaged in perpetual conflict, over resources but also owing to cultural differences. They would each kidnap rivals and enslave them, offering them to the British in exchange for money or goods. The notion that Europeans simply bopped over and ransacked the place and shackled the natives is not just unfounded, it is preposterous. Excursions to Africa were costly, not just in terms of money and resources but also in men. They were mounted with the intention to obtain slaves through trade as this meant less lives (and gunpowder) were lost in the pursuit of their objective, which was to bring slaves back to the continent.
TL:DR African tribes were complicit in the trans-atlantic slave trade

The royals don’t have bank accounts or given any cash so how it would be the firm who are the slave masters of the royals watch Harry’s speech about it they are only allowed direct material items i suppose they can hand out their TVs and shirts off their backs? Do your research.
Nice idea though. If anything it should be the government but then it’s been so long now it’s like getting paid for someone running over your dog it’s not really the same as it never happening in the first place but smart fascism and racism is bigger than ever. And it always stems from the top down never the other way around.

in short their finances are
assets: around 1 billion
income from property: 20 million pounds every year
income from each of our pockets: 80 million pounds every year
reckon they can afford something here and still live it up like they like to.

Last comment on this subject from me;) humans are almost clones of each other. For example to apes are always more genetically different than any two humans and they basically do the same in life due to most being born in to similar situations. So it’s very easy to judge people for their mistakes, when if born in the same situation, we may do very similar things. It’s very easy to say how wrong things were and are from the we have everything we need perspective that we look from nowadays in developed countries anyway. Using others for your own gain is wrong imo but if you were born into the Royal family, ask yourself, how vocal about reparations would you be? Peace
I'd be vocal, at least it would be an alternative to the monotoous life of bullshit I'd otherwise be living.
I agree. The problem is Royals follow protocol and listen to their advisers. If they listened to an economist they would use the surplus 18 billion raised in the Chancellor's budget to plug that other black hole.
As soon as former common wealth nations ask for repatriation. Commence operation Bad Enoch. Wealth isn't common.
As soon as former common wealth nations ask for repatriation. Commence operation Bad Enoch. Wealth isn't common.
…
It wasn’t wrong then though. Say for example your family got wealthy through shares and that got made illegal in the future. Would you say “oh I can’t believe how immoral my family were” and donate all their money to charity and have em out on the street?
Should Italy pay France for using their land for 300 years and killing half the country back in Roman times? Remember you only have the right to be how you are now because your ancestors killing the previous inhabitants and took their land. Are you looking to make reparations to their ancestors?
What I think is the royals should stop getting money from the people. They are basically bums with the best universal credit deal ever!

slavery was always wrong, it was cheap and easy and the other guy was doing it but anyone with a conscience is hard wired to know stealing people in chains and imprisoning them for life isnt ok.
Slavery still exists , it’s just changed name to employee. If you are working, it’s for shareholders benefit,
The means of exchange for employment is money. The means of exchange for slavery is the threat of violence. Most humans can see a big difference in this.
uh yeah i think its a little different if you're getting paid for your work and have a choice of employers. different than being kidnapped or bred into a life of hard labour.
this, what we are forced to live, is not slavery as on a cotton plantation, but it still is slavery. best proof is the "distribution of wealth". its just a different kind of slavery. where we are our own slave-drivers haha. it is essentially feudalism and it is becoming digital more and more.
feudalism is very different to slavery, some of our ancestors had the pluck to get out of it and become tradesmen, artisans, even adventurers. today a lot of people are born into fucked circumstance but many more have education and at least a shot.
a slaves life (if they made the journey which murdered a majority of them) was *nothing* like this.
a slaves life (if they made the journey which murdered a majority of them) was *nothing* like this.
You're not forced to work for someone else. It's your choice and the easy option. There's nothing to stop you starting you own business except gumption and effort.
I won’t write a response because it would take a lot of writing for you to see the similarities. Just ask yourself though. How much of your life is for you? Why did you get sent to school? Can you roam about freely? How many of us are stuck in a job , just so we can pay the bills? Who is benefiting from your consumption? Are you doing what you want to be doing or are you enriching someone else’s life by working hard? What does that sound like? Peace;)
it sounds nothing like moral equivalence, not by orders of magnitude. it also sounds like a response, just a very weak one.
Well I hope you eventually find some level of peace and a way to deal with the reality of life now and our shared history for your future sanity;) take care
Not really. I mean it , truly. Why haven’t I downvoted a single post of yours? Because I feel for your tormented minds
Tribal elders fought and captured other tribe members and sold them to Europeans its still practiced today so go point the finger straight back and ask them
"It wasn’t wrong then though." Cue modern day comparison. You are so uninformed it's actually a bit sad but more proper cringe tbh.
Yes I am the sad one. I’m not the one whining about how wealthy others have been 100’s and thousands of years ago by following the laws of their time. Whining about others is just a deflection from your own faults;) try thinking about what you can do now to make the world a better place, not whining about history. Also now the black people who are descendants of slaves don’t seem to want to go back to live in the country of their genetic heritage, right? I wonder why;)
Who's been whining? Me (no) or some other or every single Black person? And why on earth would some random U.S/U.K Black dude "want to go back to live in the country of their genetic heritage". What planet are you living in? A very white one, I imagine.
Only because my grandparents had to flee out of their country due to they would of been killed . Also stripped of their lands / money and I am not asking for reparations from anyone. Just saying
Right. And so do you want to "go back to live in the country of YOUR genetic heritage"? Or do you think that question doesn't apply bc you're White? I think that's the road you're going down here, isn't it? Assuming it's WWII, there's really no Nazi's left for you to claim reparations from, is there? If your Grandparents are from the middle east, then reparations are for the regime of that time and place whether current or not. BTW I think any Black person claiming reparations is an attention seeking fool, usually found on the end of a megaphone dictating the new world order to a bunch of (majority) white middle class uni students basically out on a day-trip with banners like "white privilege is real" and "eggs are a chickens period!".
You can see through the bullshit w/o being bias. Just saying
You can see through the bullshit w/o being bias. Just saying
Straight out the gate. Chill, Raj, or your banner with all its bullet points of what White Privilege is may get damaged. Simply put, because I'm White, have grown up with Black friends with more advantages and privileges than me. I've lived in council estates all over the UK, some of which I'm the minority. The only ppl that seem to scream white privilege are Americans and UK white middle-upper class angry women, who are without a shadow of a doubt; PRIVILEGED. Same colour as me, but worlds apart. It's that simple. Don't try and tell me I've had more advantages and not used them, w/o knowing the first thing about me - just that I'm white and therefore privileged? Is that the sum of the profiling, Raj?
" just that I'm white and therefore privileged? Is that the sum of the profiling"
Yes. That's what white privilege means.
We don't need to know anything about you, all other things being equal, you're better off than your black neighbour.
Yes. That's what white privilege means.

"We don't need to know anything about you". Who is "we" on this occasion? Just so I'm on the same page..
Well there's some irony spelled out and still not clicking. Figures. Lovely bit of sanctimony btw, PieBoi. Props.
Sanctimony? Irony?
I'm not making a judgement, I'm explaining what's meant by the term.
White Privilege does not mean the least privileged white person is still better off than every black person, which is what you're railing against.
It means wherever you are and whatever you're doing, a black person in the same position has fewer opportunities than a white person.
A white doctor gets paid more than a black one.
A white police officer has more opportunities for promotion than a black one. That kind of thing.

You sound like the kind of person that really over emphasises the "awwww THANK YOU" whenever you buy anything from a bus ticket to a house off anyone Black.
Your quote is pretty much the banner I mentioned above (when everything you've described is pay disparities within 2 industries that by-and-large have Black top-dogs, just like Obama). Look I'm bored of this I feel like you look like a really angry Velma Dinkley at this point no offence. Bye.

Haha I’ve been called a lot of things in my life, but never that.
You misunderstood me, I hate this moderation of language as much as you do.
I’d much rather racists are allowed to be as clear as you are, then we all know where we stand.
Peace be upon you.

"I’d much rather racists/then we know where we stand". I hope you're not including me in that. I'm currently the only white dude in a house of 5 so that's me homeless. But I know my views are of my own. I have a Chinese boss and White people wince when I do a perfect impression of him. That's me. No malice or hate. You raised some valid points and I'm digging my heels in. Props for taking the digs on the chin. Peace.
It's about being honest and checking yourself. I would like to add my thoughts on UK (not US!) white privilege are pretty much summed up here by Kemi Badenoch. you just said white privilege is real in other classes.
don't doubt you get a pass when class distinctions are bigger than race.

Wow! This reply is literally from weeks ago, and you think I wrote what now? Raj you are so off course, it's like some Jake Paul 4+4=5 conclusion. You've reached new levels of dumb digging for the ever elusive reasons you're not smart enough to be a dentist. Honestly I think it's kinds cool. You should get a podcast and enlighten all your friends. Ciao4now, bud.
fair enough and i would probably feel the same from that perspective but what you are missing is the punitive damages aspect of the liability.
at a time when the world is turning more separatist and fascist it's especially valuable to know that shit like that is held accountable for ever.

I would love to see the reviews like we get for the weed.

someone do this, buyers are always looking for equipment and interesting stuff will garner a lot of attention.
Hi Buddy
No they don't - the main reason for this is the additional cost, as these are given as freebies we have to keep cost down. Second reason is they are sent randomly free with orders so the people recieving them already have an account and are already registered on littlebiggy so we feel the link would be a little redundant.to these people
We do have other merch accessories and stickers for when we're at events and gatherings which do have our QR code on 👍
Cheers

Someone already having an account doesn't stop a referral through a link. 🤐 Plus, maybe it gets gifted as they already have one, then someone else uses the link...? Maybe more than once...? Maybe they tell their friends to scan it when they ask on a night out? If people aren't using their referral links then they're potentially losing out on a lot of money. PM me if you want more specific info mate. You've been a great vendor for me and I'll always sing your praises. My mate mocked me when he picked up your sticker though, but he's a knob.
Probably so, but he can have 1. I have 3 (I think?) and don't have many things to put stickers on at my stage in life. They're very cool though, and made me smile.
Whoever does it can advertise and have the users land on a reference code, will make more money than store.
Bongs, grinders, etc? I suppose it could be a way for people to discretely order the essentials.
There are bitcoin transaction and conversion fees for the buyers and biggy fees for the sellers. Why would someone not just go to Amazon for their grinders and such?

Just started watching 'Spaced' again.

I'm in the middle of re-watching Spaced and felt like I had to scroll for hours to find somebody who finally mentioned it! xD
Thank you - you just reminded me I need to re-watch spaced again!
I was too old for it even back then, but the clever references still tickle me all these years later..

Well I’ll judge you... if I could give 2 upvotes I would, agree with you totally, 2 of my fave ever shows, making me think of hitting Spaced up again...
I loved the shows of that generation. Nathan Barley. Day Today. Brass Eye also. Then The Mighty Boosh.
Holy shit the Mighty Boosh. 😂. Literally only just remembered it.
That crack fox still gives me nightmares. 🦊

Ah fuck it, nothing better to do, haha
The Wire - best thing ever written. Slow burner due to complication of story, but it is relatable as the war on drugs does not have a start or end to it, and street dealing doesn't just start, therefore you are immediately immersed in the story without even realising. Only figured that out the second time watching it. Also some great visual metaphors throughout. Also note there is no cue music to instigate feelings. All music is from source, i.e. car radio, night club. Only cue music is when Avon enters the lowrisers for the first time
The Ozark - Although breaking bad is good, it's not worth the hype. This is the older cooler brother of breaking bad. Calculated and intense at times. Story is always moving forward with real character progression
Altered Carbon - Absolutely fantastic sci-fi with great visuals and a great story line. Really left me itching to read the book, and I'm not a sci-fi fan
Arrested Development - Intelligent comedy with so much layered jokes you can watch this five times and still find punch lines you never noticed before
People Just Do Nothing - Threw this on not expecting much which is perhaps why I found it to be so good. Off the wall characters made completely believable by the actors playing the parts. Excellent idea, excellent execution.
Peep Show - This is a classic, you need to watch this
Trailer Park Boys - Another classic everyone here should be able to relate to
Big Mouth - Great for a background watch, but really funny and does take you back to your teenage years at times, haha
Fargo - Beautiful cinematography, great story captured very close to the original film. Billy Bob absolutely shines in this role in season one
Life On Mars - Made in early naughties, but just as relevant as today
Dark Tourist - good short run of a different kind of travel show. The kind of travel I like too
The Wolves Of Yellowstone - Nature documentary that has a story line Walt Disney would be proud of. Really makes you realise the balance of nature
Utopia - Such an underrated British TV series
It's Always Sunny In Philidelphia - Great zany show about dysfunctional friends who live in their own world, and drink in their own pub causing all kinds of ridiculous antics
Homeland - Great series that will always have you wondering what, or who is next
The Killing - Only recommend the first seasons. It drags you along on the witch hunt convincing you you know the answer
Punisher - About time they stuck to the gritty comic. Refreshing that this i not aimed at kids and fattening wallets.
The End Of The Fucking World - Two out there teens who decide to adventure together with, maybe, disastrous consequences

Peep show one of my all time favs and can't to wrong with arrested development what a classic
Sad that they never manager to run the show normally... And probably we won't se another season ever :( love arrested development
Currently halfway through the first series of Altered Carbon after reading this thread and seeing your recommendation. I'm a PhilipKDick fan and I'm really enjoying it, cheers 👍
Dark on Netflix. German show about time travel set in a village where kids keep going missing every 33 years. Stunning production values, really intricately plotted, three series, all ties together. Loved it. Has an English dub but the German audio with subtitles is best.
End of the fucking world is really good. Strange and offbeat which I like. With some characters that don’t give a fuck. And it’s British and very relatable (even though it’s about a lad that thinks he’s a psychopath haha).
100% but do you think you could watch them the other way round and it’s all still as good? As I really do, integrated them amazingly well.
Yeah I agree, I liked BB a lot but I came to it a bit late and like UKgrower hearing the hype maybe expected too much. Better call Saul I didn’t expect much of at all, didn’t think it’d get past Series 1 but now I think it’s better than BB.
If you enjoyed Breaking Bad, then give Better Call Saul a go. I always thought he stole every scene he was in during Breaking Bad.

yes, they will all help make it worse. on the bright side, since everybody started typing on their phones, dyslexia is hardly noticeable anymore and you really don't have to apologise.

Yean Gomorrah is probably my number 1 show, the setting, actors, story... superb. Cant wait to watch the Ciro Di Marzio movie too.
L'Immortale or the Immortal is the name, was out last year in Italy. Have tried to find out when its out in the UK but no joy yet
Its on sky atlantic now mate, its certainly worth a watch an sets up the next season of Gomorrah nicely
Literally just finished watching brassic 2 and Save me Too. Both class. Surely everyone on here has watched Brassic.....!!!?
I do, doesn't quite hit the levels that Shameless did back in the day but still a lot of fun. Plus it's good to hear actual accents on TV instead of just American lol
If you like weird? Get baked & watch.

On that note, throw Mighty Boosh into the mix as well.

i liked that a lot more than i thought i would. also, colony on netflix even though it was killed by covid and never finished.
I'm watching Detectorists at the moment. Really good. Funny and with beautiful scenery. On BBC iPlayer and Netflix.
Shout for detectorists.
Great theme tune btw.
Excellent characters.
Great series about the sackler family’s and there murderous medical misbehaviour ( painkiller )

Ifyou seen BB, definitely watch Better Call Saul.
Comedy? The Office US and then Parks n Recreation. Or maybe Shameless US? Little Britain it's always great company.
If you seen Broadwalk E, you probably have seen the sopranos. If not its a MUST! Ive been watching House of Cards and it's quite nice too.
Maybe 6 feet under, Weeds, Dexter, Chuck, My name it's Earl??
Cience? COSMOS!!! A mind blowing and mind opening cience series. Everyone should watch it before they die. Either the original and first with Carl Sagan (it might not have the best visual representations but Carl its Carl) or the new Neil Tyson.
In to some stand ups? George Carlin is a must, the young Carlin to the old political Carlin.
I would also like to give a shout out to my Spanish Fellows on THE Money Heist.

Orphan black! one of my favourites.. the wire.. Russian doll..cynical,funny. end of the fucking world. Money heist.. prison break..cleverly written. Better call Saul if you enjoyed breaking bad.
Rick and Morty and weed is my favourite combination. Snoop dog’s talk show on YouTube is hilarious to watch as-well.
I find American horror story hilarious, but only when I’m high, otherwise it’s pretty terrifying lol.
Films : seven psychopaths is a must watch, requiem for a dream and pulp fiction, all time faves. and I did write a detailed review and much more but it was deleted :/

Yo UK Grower. I have just discovered Channel Zero on StarZplay, prime add on. It’s a really good horror series, twisted stuff, defo a bit freaky.
To any one who likes comedies don't be put off What We Do in the Shadows, it's vampires but it's not really a "vampire" type show.... it's really funny when high and the second series has just come out on iplayer.
If you're into Sci-fi I'd highly recommend Altered Carbon on Netflix. Really cool story and visuals. I seen somebody recommended Ozark, excellent as well. If you like animation and feel like a laugh give Rick and Morty a watch, The Midnight Gospel is also new to Netflix but really trippy / funny in my opinion. Happy watching!
I almost pissed myself with laughter watching the first episode as I watched the trailer but wasn't really for how out there this really is. A must watch for any sci fi and gaming fan or if you have a sick sense of humour like me :)
Stranger Things Season 1 - 80's themed sci-fi thriller with endearing characters that had me on the edge of my seat throughout.
True Detective Season 1 - Basically an 8 hour movie that oozes quality. Pacing/cinematography/acting/dialogue are all A++ for me.
Trailer Park Boys - Get baked, watch this, laugh your arse off.
Peep Show - Clever and hilarious.

Band of Brothers is a masterpiece, great shout! Any recommendations of war films/series that are similar mate?
Give 'The Pacific' a go. Its HBOs follow up to 'Band Of Brothers' set during the allied assault on the Pacific region during WW2
Trailer Park Boys should be perfect for everyone on here, given the enormous amount of smoking and growing throughout!
The Wire
The Shield
Wu Tang. An American Saga
Foundation
Sopranos
Battlestar Galactica
There are gazillions more. But these are a few off the top of my head.

Since it hasn’t been mentioned here , it only proves how massively underrated Wilfred is . Had great laughs :) U.S. version of an Australian cult sitcom about a meek young man and a pot-smoking talking dog named Wilfred (actually actor Jason Gann in a dog suit, whom everyone else sees as just a dog). Won’t spoilt it anymore
Watching Yellowjackets at the moment, pretty good but if you watch the pilot episode don’t be put off as that’s a bit shit, it does get better!
Watched “From” before that, that was pretty good too…

The Start Up, it's on Netflix. 2 series' that I've thoroughly enjoyed. Defo worth a watch!
just call Saul was better than breaking bad in some ways (last series a bit disappointing tho). Always interested to see if people liked the Midnight Gospel (single series, animation, also Netflix).
If you liked Breaking Bad you might like Better Call Saul... it's slower but the writing and cinematography are actually better imo. Plus by S5 the pace is basically on BB levels.
The Boys or Doom patrol, quality shows right there & the wire If you didnt see it yet,too many to name mate but try them
Undone is good and trippy with the animation style it uses and pretty unique story to boot.
You (season 1). Solid watch but latest series was a waste of time.

Definitely worth a watch though💜💚👊🏻

If no one has said it yet, Banshee. A pro thief / seriously tough guy played by Anthony Starr ( Homelander from the boys) rolls into town, assumes the identity of a recently deceased new Sheriff that no one has met yet. Boom, he's now the law in town and is actually very good at stopping crime. Insane realistic violence, Amish gangsters, bikers, native American mafia and lots more, best show I've ever seen

Loads of top shows already mentioned on this list so trying not to repeat(can't stand repeats). Didn't notice a mention for The Newsroom, absolutely brilliant with super slick dialogue, maybe stick to sativa for that one.
Also the classic stoner sit coms Top Buzzer starring a young Steven Graham and Ideal with Jonny Vegas, they will do for the indica night.
Once the hash and concentrates come out just put Taskmaster on it is the best thing c4 have done for a long time and requires zero brain power to enjoy perfect couch lock fodder

Fargo is probably the best series ever after GOT. Better Call Saul was brilliant too after a slow start. Better than Breaking Bad for me.
All the seasons are good and different stories so don't need to watch in order. All true apparently. The movie's a bit dated now but a great watch too.
Brand New Cherry Flavour if you think you'd find the subject of psychedelic sorcery played out as a fictional horror story interesting
Murder Mountain on Netflix. An oldie but a goodie. All about the emerald triangle in California and how it moved from illegal weed growing into legalisation and the lawless nature of the industry.
Often overlooked, but Mike Judge of Beavis and Butthead fame created this absolute gem....highly reccomend...as smart as it is funny...
15/7.
You could try black mirror.
A selection of engrossing stories some weird and some mind blowing.. spanning 6 seasons between 4 n 6 eps each.
Can’t remember all but loch Henry and demon 79 were fck brilliant from the last season. 🌬️🍀

I'm surprised no one suggested Family Business (on Netflix). A great comedy series about a family in Paris who runs a Kosher butchers and end up producing vast amounts of Pastraweed!
Really funny, great actors and all around fun to watch.
A French Breaking Bad without all the stress in a way!

I never thought I'd see someone mention The Platform. Great film if you've got your stone on! Alice in Borderland is brilliant also it's like a mash-up of The Prisoner and Battle Royale.

The Man in the High Castle is loads of fun, especially if you’re a fan of PKD. Classic UK series that are great: Line of Duty, The Fall, Peep Show, Monty Python’s Flying Circus
Devs.
New Alex Garland (Ex Machina) series on FX & Hulu in the states, not sure where in the UK. Totally brilliant, and the best cinematography I've seen on TV. Ran here in spring 2020 and I'm still thinking about it.

New British comedy horror on prime with Simon Pegg and nick frost, only a short one but was enjoyable, there’s this once scene when nick frost thinks he is about to get shanked and it’s hilarious.
It’s called Truth Seekers

Succession is better than you'd think. Punisher is the best out of all the Marvel shows, Daredevil is also very watchable (and Jessica Jones if you're into angry women with PTSD). Umbrella Academy is fun to watch. The Magicians ditto. Also The Boys.
One of my all-time favourites will always be Daria.
I just love that sassy, sarcastic, little oddball in her socially satire highschool world. Sometimes it hits close to home.

Not in Netflix, but how about the Kurzgesagt YouTube channel. It's funny, educational, soothing commentary, cute Art style a great variety of topics etc.

can the USA be fixed?
in England we grew up loving American cowboy movies and the hero was always the same: quiet, cool and strong. to an outsider it seems this guy is dead and the cunt that owns the town and is always looking for more is the new America
Yes, if people like the ones at Emmanuel AME Church in Charleston become leaders.
there has been so much more killing since then and as beautiful as this inspiration is, its hard to imagine there is enough love anywhere to stop the mass murder that is part of regular life now
Nasa is the best ambassador the US has, if they took 1/3 of the military budget and put into space travel the US would be back like Jordan.
Space travel for what? Branson is going to operate consumer flights, but how many times can billionaires fly to ISS before they get bored? Not many people can afford $150k for a short vacation.
tourism will always remain in the back seat. the commercialization of space has been about serving the planet as a whole with communications, its brought up the un-cabled world just like mobile phones have brought up the last mile. there is huge potential in energy production and distribution coming next.
space travel for discovery, learning and inspiration. the world could really use a moment of peaceful triumph.
Branson has sold tickets for twenty years without delivering a ride not sure how he is relevant to anything here.
Elon Musk estimates 5-10 years to get to Mars. At present the cost is $1 Billion per ton, so it'd need to be 1/1000th of the cost, apparently. The ship will also need to be reusable.
Traveling Mars is also not a point and shoot mission. You have to coordinate launches with the alignment of the planets' orbits to travel the shortest distance and not fly past the sun. This also requires a stay on Mars as you wait for safe realignment after landing. Current technology estimates a 21 month round-trip given a ~3 month stay on Mars. Money is not the biggest hurdle.
go open source, add new states, virtual citizenship and most of all healthy competition with other nations not war
Competition in what? Our largest industries are healthcare and pharma. Getting Americans to change is a huge hurdle.
competition for new citizens, with decreasing population the game is going to change and the usa at least remembers how to play
No, this country is cursed, theres a lot of bad karma waiting.

Peter Breggin. MD, former psychiatrist who took on the APA when profit motive became greater than the hypocratic oath doctors take to "first, do no harm", became the conscience of Psychiatry. Later in life he has runs a radio show exposing those persons involved in the Globalization Movement that is quickly eroding the common person's civil rights and creating barriers to those who choose to leave a work culture where your boss becomes your God and if you are lucky, you may receive paltry insurance and limited sick leave....the US is a nation of brainwashed drones who.probably have never had an original thought in their lifetime.
Dr Breggin advises us little people to organize and speak up....be a patriot....but look who we are up against....
Any lbs out there know of a better place to live where meager pensions are paid to elders who have to live on $2k a month and paid in Social Security taxes since they began work over 30 years agos. Thanks to Ronald Reagan and others like him repealed the formation of a self sustaining retirement system that President Clinton wanted.....
This is the tip of a gigantic iceburg to which any organized public outcry can be crushed by the Patriot Act.
Not to mention US top organizations, including the military, continue funding the weaponization of a once benign bat virus...
Population control has begun....freedom of speech has been compromised by media spin doctors, and a true Republic has turned communist......these globalists like Bill Gates, President Biden, George Soros, and anonymous billionaires are acting against law and liberty to defund any classes of us with little money, and spin doctor the media to brainwash us to believe we are having racial tension; what really is happening is class warfare.
Why do billionaires want just their money but the commoners money too? How much is enough to live on?
I get mad and feel compelled to stop the US from becoming part of the Communist Party of China.
Rather than dwell on frustration, I will smoke some kush mints so I can even sleep!

The population grew to large. The citizen / individual is now a defunct concept. Group politics prevail. Democracy is dead.
The country is too big to properly manage. To many different rules per state. The poverty and opioid epidemic is absolutely shocking beyond belief. Equality issues. Mad presidents and to many super rich families. Now

Melatonin, is it effective?
xanax really strikes me as a wrong turn for stoners
Melatonin, is it effective?
Hey guys - wanted to ask what’s your experiences of melatonin if you’ve tried it for sleep purposes, how effective did you find it?
The NHS site says it’s also prescription only - swear you used to be able to get it in the health food shops, am guessing laws on psychoactive drugs mean its prescription only now. So I wanted to hear your thoughts/experiences before going down that route. thanks all in advance 💚

I've used it a lot over the years to help reset my sleep patterns around shift work, and found it varies in effectiveness depending on the brand, as well as the dose. High doses don't work well for me. Best is a brand called Vitafusion who do a product called SleepWell. It's formulated with 3mg per 2 gummies, and it was so effective for me that I'd find myself drifting off to sleep without trying. No other dose or brand ever did that. Still available from a popular auction site, and I've never had any stopped by customs.
Yes it's now prescription only, and what you're getting is obviously a controlled, pharmacological version of a bio-available / plant-based form.
I've been using it for years due to diagnosed circadian rhythm disturbance and generally many years of poor sleep. Overall I've found it very helpful in helping me maintain a fairly consistent sleep wake cycle. I'm only using a very small dose, just 2mcg / mg.
However, I've recently started using a plant melatonin called Herbatonin at a 0.3mg dose so even lower than my prescription and it's as good if not better. I bought three months supply of the Symphony brand online for around £13. Maybe give that a go if it's within your reach and see how it suits.
At some point I'd like to not have to use it at all but I live with chronic illness so it's a bit tricky right now, but it'll happen when it happens. A decent amount of sufficient quality sleep is so crucial for health. I think many of us underestimate that. The "I'll sleep when I'm dead" crew may be reaching that point sooner than they think! 😱
There are some folks out there mega-dosing for all manner of health-related reasons, up to 100mg daily!!!!!!!!!!

Did absolutely nothing for me. Can’t believe it now needs a scrip🙄. Microdose Xanax still the best sleep aid imo, no negatives. That or Unicorn 🦄 Piss from Canadian Imports 🤤😴
Yeah mental it requires a prescription now - some further reading tells me that most Drs are reluctant to prescribe it, so probs not a viable route anyway. Obv can pick it up elsewhere thanks to the internet but from sounds of things, might be a bit bunk.
Microdosing Xanax carefully sounds interesting, can see how that one might work, just enough to send you off without giving yourself a dependence problem. Have tried Valium once or twice before as a post rave sleep aid - magic blue off buttons! I should note this definitely was one-off/emergency usage only, never regular (just a health warning for the benefit of anybody else reading - very easy to get hooked on benzos and very difficult to come off, from seeing ppl close to me who’ve developed a benzo addiction. Very nasty physical withdrawal symptoms)
And thanks for the tip on the unicorn piss! Ha yeah don’t usually do carts to keep tolerance down but might have to resort to a nice strong one to send me off for the night - heard some very good things about CI’s stuff, definitely keeping that one in mind 👌

Totally agree with your comments mate. I find with sleep aids the less you use them the better they work. Tolerance builds so quickly. I take 0.25mg (or less) of Xanax possibly twice a week if I’m wide awake in the middle of the night with a least 4 hours to go until I need to get up. Always works and I wake up very refreshed. Taken nightly it would stop working in a couple of weeks and knowing that means I have no incentive to increase dose or frequency.
I occasionally treat myself to a hit of the 🦄 at bedtime. Fall asleep with a big grin on my face!🤗

That sounds v regimented and sensible usage 👌 gives your body enough time to get it out your system too.
Those carts sound lush tbf, just been reading the posts from other peeps on CIs page - face meltingly good sleepy times all around from the sounds of things!! Very good price too, will check em out some point 👍

I bought about 1000 blue diazepam decades ago, and I took them all. That was a very unproductive number of months. Lovely with a G&T on a Sunday afternoon I found. Be careful not to kill yourself, obviously.
I used melatonin on and off for a few years. Making it prescription only is a bit over the top, but good for Big Pharma.
The only problem with melatonin is that it's a natural hormone we produce. So if you supplement with it too long, your body will make less.
Also, the trigger for your body to start releasing melatonin is darkness. So if you're using your phone or watching TV before sleep, you're body is not releasing it's own melatonin.
Red filters will help a lot, as it's the blue light that triggers our brain to wake up. It takes some time...30-45 minutes for me.
If I need help besides the filter I've added to my phone, I take a small THC edible.
Good luck, bad sleep is a serious problem. I have sleep apnea, where I stop breathing while asleep. You might want to check on that before you only self medicate.
My sleep got a LOT better when I started using a CPAP machine that keeps me breathing at night.
So please check with a doctor about that, it is life threatening.

I’ve tried melatonin gummies in the past. They worked great but used to get bad headaches the following day.
I also read that long term use can cause rebound insomnia so I quit.

Just listening to gill Scott herons first album ‘a new black poet’ , he still has the power to shock.who are today’s protest singers.
Is urban rap and hip hop, choose your genre, the new protest platform. Or is it just a mysoginist, homophobic, violent twisted reflection of city life from those excluded from the mainstream.
Is stormsy the new urban Dylan.?

There is still a pretty decent punk scene out there. (or was before the pandemic)Human Project, Random Hand, SB6, Crazy Arm- all inherently political. Solo artists- Babar Luck, Chris TT, Prolefeed, Carol Hodge.
personal fave on my rotation at the minute would be ‘the hunstman comes a marching’ chris tt. Check it out!

IDLES are pretty spot on politically and that shows in their lyrics! ‘The only way to scare a Tory is to read and get rich’.
Don't want to start a war between them but... Dave > Stormzy :P
edit - don't know whats going on with lb but this post went wacky, anyway jokes aside Dave actually deserves a little shout in this. The live performance of Black was really invoking and things like Question Time and Children of the Internet will appeal to any stoned thinker haha :) - at least the UK scene isn't just kids dying on cough medicine after one youtube hit, wtf happened to America?!

You've got a lot to choose from in metal.
Check out some of the following:
Body Count: Black Hoodie
Body Count: No Lives Matter
Lamb of God: Poison Dream
Lamb of God: Now you've got something to die for
Dead Label: Dystopian Complex
Lock Horns: Blood and Oil
Gojira: Silvera
And I know this is basically a pisstake, but Dethklok Detharmonic in on point.

I'd say for this definitely Run The Jewels. Akala is still about as well. Immortal technique is meant to be releasing a new album soon. I don't think we will see the likes of a band like RATM again for sometime
Left a RATM gig with cracked rib from the most hectic mosh pit I’ve ever known, mega fun. Second best mosh was the Pogues in 88.
I saw someone with there arm twisted the wrong way being carried out of a RATM set. Reading 96' I believe. Great set, terrifying moshpit.. Did it anyway though. Fun times.
I agree the power of the music to inform and protest is lost, but straight of the gate, you have macklemore Hinds Hall (this came out of nowhere!). Whatever your position on the conflict (or the tune) it sums up what the issue is. Bands are commodities and businesses know they can be used to influence, so they invest heavily. And if you don't tow the line then your out!
I forgot Public Enemy are still going strong.
I think they cornered the market in the American black protest field fighting fire with fire to show the other side of the American nightmare.

Protest the Hero + Show Me the Body are two bands that spring to mind. These are certainly not protest artists sonically, as they are both heavier guitar bands, but are both aggressively anti-establishment, discussing topics you won’t hear other artists sing about.
Unfortunately he grew up and joined new labour.
Saw him live at least dozen times, used to do loads of small gigs and protests. I was in socialist workers party and he was doing loads of fundraisers for the miners.

Just as much intolerance on the left as on the right. We live in a shallow social media driven world. In which we all eat consume far too much whilst slowly killing ourselves and the planet. Facebook, mcdonald's,nike etc. It's a shallow, plastic world and that's not a suitable environment for growing protest singers.
Sort of agree, unfortunately the mass media (particularly print media) are owned run by right wing, ie Sun, times, telegraph etc
The BBC, THe Guardian Newspaper, Channel 4, ITV to name a few left wing media outlets.
And for the BBC to be so biased is a disgrace just look at the stats over 14% LBGTQ within there workforce as opposed to 0.4% in most other organisations massively disproportionate.
Also the mainstream media seems to love to demonise the working classes.
The white indegoius male is despised by the main stream media especially the BBC.
All I do know is before all this WOKE nonsense started we had not been at this much level of war activity since the second World War and now look at all this mess.
Weak leftist policies have risked our safety and security to the point where I worry about my relatives safety in the UK and have also made us a target from forces that want to destroy us.
You need only look at who was the London mayor best mate at UNi for example ? None other than the leader of Albasha terror GROUP. and if that does not worry you to realise that if all this wokey business continues there won't be no western songs ti sing no more because they will be banned.
I remember the cold War, I remember living in the troubles and feeling and hearing the sounds of cemtex around me and going through the checkpoints. I talk from experience and no the real dangers that all this liberal far left nonsense brings as I have lived and breathed this shit before.

"The perceived partiality of the BBC comes from both sides of the political spectrum. Of the people in the YouGov survey who identified as supporting the Conservatives, 15% thought the BBC is generally a little more favourable towards the left and 23% thought they were much more favourable. Conversely, 26% of those who identified as supporting Labour thought the BBC is generally a little more favourable to the right and 20% thought they were much more favourable."

I blame the growing influence of the network - attentions turning inwards as the younger generation start living in the fantasy of the online world. I showed my teenage step daughter the matrix the other day thinking she'd love it - her response "why would anyone choose not to stay in the matrix"!
its a perfect substrate for protest. people have the means and motive.

anyone else tried this?
I'm led to believe that you want a service like HodlHodl... You can meet up with people non-KYC and they can give you cash, or the other way around. What could possibly go wrong?
HodlHodl as MightyRux has said is non KYC. Also has escrow so you can't get stung if your selling mate.
HodlHodl and Bisq are good options in terms of P2P trading, you won't be meeting anyone though.
Bitcoin ATM's are surprisingly widespread, some of them require no details. Although fees are usually stupidly high.

What is post-scarcity?
impossibility
a pipe dream, even with free replication of everything people find a way to have scarcity. look at what people pay for things in game worlds.
I like how there's no seatbelts on the Enterprise, even though they get hit by something and the crew gets knocked on their arses in virtually every episode.
Star Trek Discovery has a more stringent HSE who has brought in new seatbelt regulations for the safety of the crew
Aren’t there several episodes where the arms of Kirk’s chair lock down across his thighs? (yep, sounds pretty ridiculous now I’ve typed it 😳)…maybe it was in the films?….defo happened or I’m giving up weed!! 😵💫😉

I can recommend Miracle Pool, by far the best pool game for physics etc, for the price you really cant argue, let me know what you think.

Please bear in mind that enjoyability is subjective (to some extent) and can be determined by many different factors depending on who has tried said product.
Hopefully we all enjoy similar stuff.

What’s happening lovely Biggas? My normal Warzone crew are hardly on these days. Looking for some like minded individuals to play a few games, smoke a few zoots and maybe even accuse better players of cheating us. PlayStation 5 ideally, not hugely competitive, mainly banter. Are we allowed to share gamer tags on here? Don’t want to get banned.
I’m down for this all day every day I’m not sure about the name tag thing but surly isn’t a problem

suggested prompts for negotiating rent?
my landlord wants to raise my rent and i'd rather not deal with this shit right now but i can't pay what he's asking for this place. seems perfect for a.i. but i want to use the right prompts.
Dear [Landlord's Name],
I hope this letter finds you well. I am writing to you regarding the recent request for an increase in rent. As a tenant who has always paid rent on time and taken care of your property, I want to express my concern about the proposed increase in rent.
As you may be aware, the economic situation has been difficult for many people due to the pandemic, and I am no exception. Unfortunately, my financial situation has not improved, and I am unable to afford the new rent cost. I would like to bring to your attention the financial struggles that I am facing, including [insert specific financial challenges, such as job loss or reduction in hours, unexpected expenses, etc.]
In light of these circumstances, I kindly request that you reconsider the proposed rent increase. I would be willing to discuss alternative solutions to help alleviate any financial burdens, such as a temporary reduction in rent or a payment plan that would allow me to gradually catch up with the increased rent.
I value the positive relationship we have built over the years, and I hope that we can work together to find a solution that benefits both parties. Thank you for taking the time to consider my request.
Sincerely,
[Your Name]

writing in the style of a cordial yet firm attorney write 3 sentences explaining why a rent increase is not feasible for me.
As my client’s legal representative, I must articulate that the proposed rent increase is untenable for them, due to financial hardships that have been exacerbated by recent events. This increase, regrettably, does not align with the spirit of fairness nor the original understanding between landlord and tenant, potentially placing an undue burden on my client. We respectfully urge a reconsideration of this decision, seeking a compromise that maintains the tenancy while respecting my client’s financial realities.
not bad, running this in chatgpt3 you get:
Dear Landlord,
I hope this letter finds you well. I am writing to express my concerns about the proposed rent increase. While I appreciate your efforts to maintain the property, I must respectfully decline the increase as it is not feasible for me at this time. As you are aware, I have been a responsible and timely payer of rent and I trust that we can find an amicable solution that is beneficial for both parties.
Sincerely,

look up other rent in the area, if it is out of line with that, that should be your main point.
if it is in line then stres you cannot afford it (we are in a cost of living crisis) and stress how good a tenant you've been

Sent my money but not received anything
just use the dispute button, thats what its here for
Sent my money but not received anything
Strainsburys just won’t send my money back sent him 214 for the dust n just been blanked
Unless you have let the dispute window expire then Strainsbury’s does not have your coin- it’s held safely for you in escrow. If you have not received your order after 9 days you can raise a dispute via the tab that appears on your order page….
You have no comeback with this whatsoever. Transactions are not reversible, so if you don't get a reply or a refund it's gone. That's why the site tells you not to do off-site transactions with warnings depending on how messages are worded, as they can't help you now.
Caveat Emptor, always.
Caveat Emptor, always.
You have no recourse my bigga. Escrow is there solely to stop both parties being scammed. If you don't use it, it's like asking to submit a claim before you have taken out an insurance policy.
The real kick in the teeth too, is that the vendor pays the escrow fees.
Who exactly initiated this direct transaction? Was it your suggestion?

Strainsbury’s got caught out for doing this before if I remember rightly. They may get banned if LB see this.
But seriously you can’t expect the site to refund you can you?…why on earth would they do that?
But seriously you can’t expect the site to refund you can you?…why on earth would they do that?
im not the most experienced but i think if u go outside of lb payment system dont think u have any comeback could be wrong
You're right mate. Transaxe is the backbone of what makes LB work, they won't be able to do anything about a direct transfer.
Why did you pay them directly? Did they advise you to? Taking biggas offsite is a cardinal sin. I'm sorry for you mate but your best shot is the vendor either sending the product or issuing a refund themselves.

Ok, so you must have paid them directly in the past in order to have their address. If you've paid like this before and received the product then hopefully you'll get what you paid for.
In future only make buys via Transaxe so that in situations like this you are protected. As things stand all you can do is contact the vendor as LB has no way of getting the coin. As I mentioned previously, taking biggas offsite to buy is massively frowned upon and it's not a good look for Strainsburys that this topic exists in the first place. Hopefully that will be an incentive for them to resolve this, as it's public now. I hope it works out mate.
Most vendors on here are great, but always be suspicious of anyone who wants to do business outside of Transaxe.

People are asking why you sent direct, its very normal for this to happen and 99% of times vendors honor the deal with their customers.. I've personally sent pistach/bmw $2000+ at a time on a trust basis before i found LB. So dont think you did wrong, its just sad when situations like this happen.
Only one who can return the money is strainsburys. Same thing is happening to me, did you get a refund yet?

Greatest Comedy Sketches Of All Time
Let's create a compilation.hoping to see some that may have flown under my radar..anyways....for your consideration...Peter Cook and Dudley Moore 'The Frog & Peach'
Great post, I got lost down a wormhole of genius sketches last night trying to pick my favourite and i couldnt so i figured id come back today and keep it easy.
Pete and Dud though 💜💚
Pete and Dud though 💜💚
Not quite a sketch I guess but immediately thouguht of this ^ love this series of interviews. Two geniuses.
Absolutely loved this. Completely unscripted...Two absolute satirical heavyweights and two of the finest comic minds to have ever lived....only wish Peter Cook was around longer to develop a long and fruitful working relationship with Chris Morris
For sure, and if only! But at least we have these utter gems, I'm thankful for that :)
Chris's Morris's own darkly disturbing piece of comedy genius 'Jam" produced its share of memorable moments....this absolutely being one...
Brilliant. I straightaway thought of Jam too - so many good scenes there - and his radio series Blue Jam before that. The monologue above is quite a trip. So good stoned as well :D
Most of the clips i struggled to choose between when this was first posted had Chris Morris involved in some way, obviously Jam, Brass Eye and The Day today are all genius but hes had a hand in so many other great comedy moments, like as the narrator here...
Fantastic - just my sort of comedy! I missed this first time round. Big fan of Spaced, League, Big Train, etc. AND ambient music. Gonna listen to this series on headphones and there is a "remix" version (whaaa...?) of Jam called Jaaaam that looks good, too.
Found this compilation of the "Doctor" scenes. Not everyone's cup of tea but that's why I like it. byyyyyyyyyyyyeeeeeeeeeeee

There was a Chris Morris short which was pretty much a precursor to Jam .
My Wrongs 8245-8259 and 117 ...well worth a look

Beat me to it! Mind you I have just got off from a 28 hour shift that started tomorrow and hasn't even begun yet, working myself to the bone... all before 7am.

Are you male or female? There are some wonderful natural supplements which actually contain Siberian ginseng as one of their 5 ingredients, they are specifically targeted at women but men can take them as well, they balance hormones mainly and you’d be surprised how many things they help with.
It\s not primarily aimed at women ask any Hollistic or alt doctor. . They balance your whole system not just hormones. .
According to studies, Siberian Ginseng for men may also help increase testosterone levels, and enhance physical and mental health (AKA stops depression. happy pills) Use that and creatine in snalll doses for health look into creatine for depression and over all mens health and u will never need a ssri ever again my friend
Medis just aim it at woman . not in generally aimed at females.

Hey. Recently stopped sertraline myself - turned me into a zombie. I got the withdrawal brain zaps - first few weeks is horrible, with the emotional control of a toddler but after about a month, I felt more in control and less zappy.
Ngl I smoked my way through the withdrawal, probably not what a GP would recommend 😆 - definitely helped, got a big ol bag of my fave stinky stardawg, put on all my favourite films and easy comfort food, battened down the hatches through that turmoil feeling. Warned my work mates that I might be more blunt than normal cos of it lol. Took some days off work when it was really bad. Worst of it was definitely the first month then felt noticeably more myself again.
Probs about 2 months after I feel normalish (whatever the fuck that is!) and less zombie like. I guess the length of withdrawal depends on the person and how long you been taking em for. The best advice I have been given in this subject is please be kind to yourself and be patient with yourself, you are undergoing some changes to brain chemistry - ain’t no escaping that. But it will pass. Good luck pal, fingers and toes crossed for ya

Glad to hear someone else coming off! I’m currently coming off Effexor and it’s been hellish. I’ve been using a lot of Indica and also literally allocating a “nap time” like a toddler just to lie down in the dark for 30-40 minutes with no stimuli - really helped. Vitamin D as well as Omega 3, Magnesium L-Threonate and B-12 every day reaaaally makes a difference. 🤞
Evil stuff, friend of mine was given it by a doctor. Ruined him as a human, he has no emotion to anything his life is collapsing around him and he doesn't care.

I've seen this before, either LB is doing this or the vendors are having their own influence over it, just possibly maybe the biggas who wrote the post deleted it but they wont answer so i doubt it. As soon as I added my 2 cents the post is not there and i cant see the reply, seems like I hit a nerve?

A relatively new vendor who appeared near the end of pistachio's run,(I was not a fan) who has been doing well was getting called out for bad practice as well as being pistachios new alias. I was voicing my concerns with a few recent purchases I had made from said vendor and the post was deleted before I could see their reply. Says it all really. I've seen this before, if no one ever complains or isn't seen to be complaining, well there obviously isn't a problem is there?

Life extension and reversal of the Epigenetic Clock. Good or bad?
Hey, I dont know if this has already been covered on here but it's something I find fascinating since I was introduced to Prof. David Sinclair by the Joe Rogan experience (#1234 and #1349 if you're interested)
I have attached an article about a small study that was done in California. The study only had 9 subjects and no control arm so I dont think we can take it TOO seriously. But the results, quite frankly, were astonishing.
I'm not going to try and explain how all of this works as I'm sure I'll butcher it but here's a key paragraph from the article.
'For one year, nine healthy volunteers took a cocktail of three common drugs — growth hormone and two diabetes medications — and on average shed 2.5 years of their biological ages, measured by analysing marks on a person’s genomes. The participants’ immune systems also showed signs of rejuvenation.'
To me that's pretty crazy, right? And from what I understand there are a couple of effective substances/medications available for reversing the epigenetic clock than were not used in this study.
And if you pay attention to Prof. Sinclair he believes that it is well in the realm of possibility that we could live anything up to 80 years longer in the future.
But what happens when we are all living til we are 180 years old? Will we have enough resources? Will the planet be able to cope with the inevitable mass increase in human population if this is the case? I mean, we seem to be struggling a bit globally as we are.
Just thought it was an interesting topic and would love to know your thoughts.
Happy Monday

Thanks just that genetic measurement of age is an eye opener. Seems once you can do this you can measure everything we do against it.
Hey Han, yes indeed it is an eye opener. From what I've read that will be exactly the case. We should be able to mesure how specific habits etc. directly affect the epigenetic (horvath) clock. Exciting times for sure!
Then hookup an AI to make favorable decisions for us, then... It seems all paths lead to the same place :()
Yeah, a dirty dystopia where the "elites" AI our buttholes to oblivion. Im not down with that shit!
Why? shouldn't we all be asking why we want to live longer, rather than going along with that reactionary action from deep in the psyche of 'Yes ofcourse I want to live longer!' and I don't care why I do........
To evolve we pass on our genes and die. An understanding of genetics shows no other purpose for life. Old age, indeed any age beyond reproductive usefulness is a human conceit. The body degrades quickly like a flower wilts but we use our superior intelligence for methods to extend our time. It’s all hubris.
If I could recommend one book everyone should read this year it would be Lifespan.
It's science, it's facts, it's perspective shattering and throughouly enjoyable

best ways to partake broke?
It is cooler but feels more like exhaust to me.
Everyone's an expert, so here's two pennies' worth: buy the best quality you can afford and enjoy it until it runs out. When you can afford to buy again, buy again. This strategy is invariably better than endless shake or cheap commercial hash.
Seriously, hyper-economising ruins the fun. It doesn't make sense to spend half your high trying to mop up every crumb from your grinder, or in coughing fits because you absolutely must capture every last molecule of smoke out of your piece. As for drinking bong water...strep, black mildew, E.coli, proteus - to name a few.
Seriously, hyper-economising ruins the fun. The shake situation generally depends on the person. I myself don't get the effects from weed anymore as my tolerance is so high and I'm also not working atm. Shake is good for the fact it's still cheaper than buying a cheap oz of buds and will last longer. Not everyone smokes for the buzz my man
Best practice is no waste. Smoke burning into the air is throwing away cannabis. Stems and sticks are not for the smoking but they can all be cooked in edibles.
True this, I have an old hippie friend that would smoke joints backwards only sipping on the smoke from the burning end.
Grind your cannabis! This brings out the good parts and nearly doubles the potency of your stash!
Or "surface area" which most people learn at 14 in school with basic chemistry reactions.
You only want to grind it just before smoking though because a bigger mass (bigger buds) will store longer for the same reason. Less exposure.
I go through the smallest bit first for that reason.

I agree with this. I used to smoke hash years ago and it blew my mind when introduced to weed. Aw, memories
Used to be my favourite way of smoking hash, no wastage and a good strong stoning. Now I just use a dynavap haha
Decent vape plus shake and hash as they are the best bang for buck imo.
Hash is high quality and cheap right now so offers more thc than most buds

This is my philosophy right now, i keep two types of shake, two types of hash and two carts, all from LB referrals. It is possible to have a completely free rotation, long live LB.
Shotties mate
9mm copper piping, coke bottle with water, small bit of fag cut off with blade and stamp in hash. High as fuck

smoke pure always. Get a bong and work out exactly how much you can smoke up and hold for time. Pull til the smoke nearly touches your lips, cover with your hand and take a full breath of air. Big exhale then rip the smoke up and hold in til the world seems better...
Served me well as a struggling stoner in the early years. Vapes also really good option, bit more high tech and different high than smoking though.
Hash prob better value than flower, though can get a decent high off of shake/bottom buds which you might find cheaper on here.
Peace

Haha once saw my little sister who was off her face at the time pick up a shorty bottle ( was no where near clean lol like the black ones ) and drink half the water
Back in the 90s a dude i knew hit the bong full of poppers and a tobacco/soap bar (crap hash) mix. Ripped it clean before he went green...
Get a magic flight launch box with a power adapter and batteries then learn how to use it well. No other way can make herbs last as long as this little baby. ( my first vape). You can also smoke eat or make butter with your leftovers its a win win situation. Bit for a J can last for hours in this little baby. The high builds gradually but can get you totaly baked if you so wish.
Definitely shake ! We have a lot of regular customers for shake because it’s the best bang for your buck ! Super cheap yet still super high grade and enough to get you going for a while 🥰
Strainsburies have you been hackd ontg I had made and paid for an order 2z shake last month and still haven't received anything, but only been strung along by a few messages since, it's medi Cater if you could please reply to me there thanks.
I used to smoke a quarter of weed a week and that would cost me £60-70. For the last eight years I’ve been vaping concentrates instead and a gram of that is roughly £40-50. So I’ve literally been saving £20-30 per week and I’m sure my lungs are better for it.
a good bong and don't kain your weed also T-breaks are a must . and sometimes a spliff is better (Unless you wanna get proper munted ( just don't go over board and remeber the T-breaks)
In all fainess I purchase some quality shake/trim & popcorn buds. Get plenty of bang for your buck and there's some tasty looking stuff on a few vendors pages. I got 7g last week and there was plenty of buds in it
use eagle bill shake and vape pipe it is a normal glass vape pipe use the opening as a bowl and when you run out it's collected so much THC rich oil on the glass forms VERY strong stuff you can heat as it's glass made to be heated from the glass bubble to the stem or using a little water to soften in up you can use paper clips straitened with a loop on the end to strip the pipe literally clean and gather the now thick dark/black deposit out and a gram of that lasts ages.
It's harsh to smoke but stronger than premium dutch hash type stuff. Also if you're in any country with a cannabis cafe many people take the rubbish bags from cannabis cafes in Holland where they often separate food from waste joints, this may also apply to some US dispensaries although i don't know if that's legal.
This is legal in the Netherlands and many people in them smoke pure weed joints and even then leave a lot unsmoked...but for the love of god DO NOT DRINK BONG WATER
THC has extremely low solubility in water and secondly bong water should be fresh with every use if your bong water has gotten to the point that it has THC in it then it's been there for weeks and is literally just stagnant water that has collected all the cyanide and other things present in smoke and cultured an amount of bacteria likely many times dirtier than your toilet

I have 2 really unappealing words to say so hear me out, don't judge. The 2 words are bong water. Do not drink of course, not directly. As part of a smoothie, yes. Shit works great and it's more than free its fucking recycling.
Careful, bong water liquid can quikly provide a potentially sickening "smoothie" as bacteria from various contaminents (few people are known to fadtidiously scrub the inside of the bong cylinder, even fewer are known for changing the water on a per-use basis. Also, i'm not so sure the solids you would be consuming are that pschoactive - thc is not soluble in H2O to my knowledge.
Good luck! ?

Any metalheads on here?
Hey guys hope you’re all having a cool weekend. Just wondering are there Any metalheads on LB? I love most metal but my fave genres are probably blackgaze and post black metal. I really like Alcest and Panopticon I’d say they’re the bands I’m listening to the most right now. I remember people telling me when I was a teenager I’d grow out of metal, well I’m in my 40s now and still listening just as much if not more. It really is a way of life. Love and peace.
The 90s had such amazing metal bands. So many genres were exploding and were so exciting. Wasn’t so keen on that rap metal mind. I loved RATM but the ones that followed like Limp Bizkit were pretty dumb.
Sorry dude didn’t mean to offend anyone. Just didn’t personally like Limp Bizkit. Sorry.
Oh sorry man I thought you meant I was preaching to you. Yeah I loved the first Korn album hated the 2nd but loved the 3rd album. Stopped following them after that but still like the odd track after the 3rd album. Alone I break is an awesome track.
I remember seeing Pantera at the Ozzfest back in 98. Amazing set and a wild pit not as crazy as the Soulfly pit a set later that was insane. Love early Deftones up to the White Pony album.
yes but thrash, osdm, 1st wave black metal and the list goes on. So quite a different list but yeah I'm a metalhead
Celtic Frost are probably my fave out of the 1st wave black metal bands. Did you not get on with the 2nd wave of black metal? There are some great bands.
No I do just lower down on my list. Celtic frost absolutely genius band although there was a time they were called death metal
Early Dimmu Borgir for me mate. First 2 albums are great(even the ripped off track on the 2nd album) went off them when they expanded their sound.
sorgens is one of my fave tracks pity m8 i love most of their stuff although my fave albums are Puritanical and In sorte. stormblast will always hold a special place in my heart..
Of course Screamo counts man! Love myself a bit of Mice&Men and Bring Me The Horizon. Not sure if they’re Screamo bands?
I'm mid-forties now and grew up on bands like Metallica, Pantera, Machine Head and NIN. I've always been into other stuff as well but it's what I mostly listened to during my teens and twenties.
I don't listen to metal as much as I used to however I've found the old adage that your tastes mellow with age to be untrue in my case. I listen to some much heavier, more extreme bands than I used to and I'm much more open to sub genres I wouldn't have considered before.
My current favourite heavy listen is Lullabies for Eternal Sleep by Apes. Hadn't heard of them until I read a brief review that described that EP as being sort of like post-metal if all the quiet bits were replaced with nasty grindcore. One listen and I'd bought the tracks off Bandcamp. The first track, Cornwall, is savage but has such an amazing groove too.
If you like blackened stuff then check out Apes' earlier album, Lightless. Different to the latest material but still bloody good.

I pretty much listen to every metal track thrown at me with passion :D.
I love albums in every genre.
Some of my favorites bands are Decapitated, Dimmu Borgir, TBDM, born of osiris, meshuggah, lamb of god, well theres too much really ^^..
Metal is definitely a way of life.
Recently i've been listening to the Nomad album by Kublai Khan (insane tone/sound) and a gradual decline in moral by Kim Dracula, pretty strange shit but i love it haha.

1."Reign in Bud" - Slayer (A stoner metal twist on Slayer's classic "Reign in Blood")
2."Black Sabbath's Munchies" - Black Sabbath (Featuring their heaviest hits to satisfy the munchies)
3."Master of Bongs" - Metallica (An epic blend of metal and cannabis-inspired anthems)
4."Weed the Lightning" - Megadeth (Thrashing through the green haze with high-intensity riffs)
5"Paranoid and Paranoider" - Black Flag (A punk-infused, paranoia-inducing masterpiece for the metalheads who like to keep it raw)

I go a lot of gigs and download/bloodstock festival. Some of the best music to have a smoke to.
Yeah probably the most community, friendly festival I’ve been to. Really chilled and there’s not too many people like major festivals.
lots of metal plays at the local gym, Sepultura, Nailbomb, SOAD, Pantera, Mastodon, Deftones, DOWN, Black Label Society, TOOL and some others I cant remember the name of
Seeing Municipal Waste again in October, really looking forward to that one
Recomendations wise, I've been really digging some of the "new wave trad" by the likes of Eternal Champion and Visigoth, super cheesy power metal about goblins and dragons, epic stuff...

Thanks for the recommendations man I’ll check them out. I’m seeing Alcest in October and can’t wait for that.
Must be more then a few metalheads here on LB for sure.
Right now I'm waiting for the re-recording by the Calavera brother's of the Morbid Visions record. Absolutely can't bloody wait for that! Artwork is on point and the sound, my goodness.
But otherwise, been on a death metal vibe recently - the new 200 Stab Wounds EP and the new Kruelty record basically.

Yeah I was thinking the same, that’s why I made the post just to see what bands everyone was into.
Oh if they get that right it should be awesome. Early Sepultura rocks. Love the Arise album lost interest around Roots. That album wasn’t for me. I really like Derrick on vocals even though a lot of Max fan boys gave him a hard time when he joined.

Tonight I've been listening to Cult of Luna and Boris. Last night it was Lamp of Murmuur and Fluisteraars. I'm in my 50s. Metal seems to make more sense the older I get but then the type of metal I listen to now is different from the metal I listened to at 16. Except for Sabbath. Always Sabbath 🤘Music just keeps on getting better.
Absolutely love Cult Of Luna their Salvation album was incredible! Can’t remember if it was their debut? Give Panoption a listen man especially there again into the light album it is pure genius. Austin Lunn plays over a dozen instruments on the album. Can’t wait to see them next month on their first ever UK tour. Always Iron Maiden for me mate though I do obviously love Sabbath.
Oh yeah I love Panopticon too. I was listening to And Again... last night. Also Botanist and Wolves In The Throne Room, sheer sheets of metallic sound, hypnotic riffs it's damn psychedelic as a genre in many ways. Also into stuff like Thou and Primitive Man, I was listening to the last Wormrot album the other day. There's just so much good stuff and such massive variety that it's impossible to not like something that's "metal" if you're into music. If anyone avoids metal they should take a deep dive into all the sub genres cos they'd be surprised at how much they would probably love. From Sunn O))) to Full of Hell and all the stops in between.
They’re ..again into the light album is so good. I found it very accessible compared to their earlier stuff. Still really enjoy their early folk metal inspired stuff. Kentucky is fantastic. I was lucky enough to see Wolves In The Throne Room a few years back. Beautiful gig. It was bombastic and majestic all at once. 🤘
I saw Panopticon a few years back over in Dutchie land, enjoyed them but haven't paid much attention to them since.Do you like Wayfarer? They do a similar type of thing kinda country tinged BM.
Really like Wayfarer too and a Scottish band called Saor. They play a similar style to Panopticon. Can’t wait to see them live,I’ve waited years for them to visit the UK. Gotta travel a few hundred miles but it will deffo be worth it. Much love.
Mate it looks epic!! Panopticon are headlining day one and are playing their entire Roads To The North album!! The entire weekend looks genuinely great too.
Dad got me into metal with sabbath i have to agree nearly 40 now .... So many metal genres would not exist without them ..
Yeah Sabbath are definitely the godfathers of metal. Without them half the genres today wouldn’t exist.
and if you into black metal check out Blackbraid they just relesed their second album its Native american black metal if you like melodic stuff check em out i feel they are only going to get better...
Thanks for the recommendation man. I’ll check them out later on they sound very intriguing.

{drug abuse}
what about addiction to drama?
not that any bigga would know such people but how can we satisfy them with minimal toxicity?
I would just like to add my thoughts if I may Thom on your thread
I think everyone in the world has something they are addicted to...which could be ANYTHING ... edible or not ... drama addicts are best in groups with others who are of the same ilk, just like a hobby club or something.
I am addicted to nature, and cheese ! ... I could not be indoors for to long, also was addicted to being alone...so literally a human can be addicted to anything...best leave everyone to it ... and just worry about you and yours. Addictions come and go. Some take a hold of you. And others are just a 'binge' session that caused the addiction etc
As for anger... I would like to say that if you do not feel anger after grief... it can lead to severe depression... anger is a natural emotion, that is often not 'allowed' .... BUT ... after grief and sorrow and loss...there is an anger period that must be embraced...so that it does not turn inwards, then comes the peace and understanding...but if anger is not tolerated (even in natural circumstances) then we are heading for a very mentally ill planet. Anger must be safely expressed so that the healthier emotions/feelings can surface...and set the brain straight !
I also recently found out that Tinnitus (that ringing in the ears) causes depression and anxiety, to the point where millions are seeking help through the mental hospitals, because of low funding for research into Tinnitus.
I have it... and it drives me mad sometimes... there is no known cure at the mo... I have learned to live with it...and now I barely notice I have it... last week the estimate was 3.6 million sufferers in the UK alone ... who have no where to turn. As very little funding for them to find a cure.
I would like to hear from anyone else who has any solutions for this, or something that works for them in order to cope with it. I have done alot of research over the years...but it would be great to hear from real people about this ?
Just thought I would mention that briefly, as it may help some people understand what they are going through!
:)

Glad I’m not the only one 😂
Good game for parties and people who are new to VR as it’s quite intuitive. Easy to pick up and play but tricky to master.

Yeah definitely great if you've got people around lol. Is there any bowling games that you know are good. Ooo or maybe darts or something. I'll have to have a Google!
Half Life 2 VR mod, Walking Dead Saints and Sinners, Blade and Sorcery, Ancient Dungeon. I've played a lot of VR games and the Half Life 2 VR mod is what I am playing right now and I love it so much. The game design of that game translates so well in VR and I haven't got bored of this 20 year old game that I have completed so many times.
Very excited to see what the Apple Vision Pro can do, the headset is so god damn powerful that it will easily do seamless AR / VR processing. Hell yeah its expensive, but to me this headset might finally be the birth of non controller vr, eye tracking as well as 4K viewing.
Unity have a deal with Apple and have released a APK package to start making games for that headset, Unreal Engine has a feud with Apple because of Fortnite revenue. So at the moment you have to install multiple packages to start working on that but I like what they have done for AR experience of leaving notes in your home in the digital world of chaning the size of objects.

but can I put it in my mighty vape without fucking up this expensive machine?
but can I put it in my mighty vape without fucking up this expensive machine?
The mighty certainly has the voltage to vape concentrates. I would usually suggest using degummed hemp fibre to absorb the oil Having not really looked at it, I'm not sure of the chamber makeup, but a quick search shows that you can get specially made liquid drip pads for the mighty that are manufactured to fit the chamber but not the dosing capsules. That will be your best bet.
Use some.bacon cotton or the mighty concentrate pillows. They are just like bacon cotton made of metal so can be reused.
Personally I wasn't a fan of using concentrates in my mighty, your better off spending £28 and buying an AIO which is made specifically for the job and does it very well.

How long do stores retain camera records
Just thinking of my video trail buying cards for my Bitcoin
In the UK there's no hard line rules on this.
They could in theory store it forever but most likely they'll have a system running on finite memory that'll override older recordings and would only be likely to inspect and seperate footage to evidence a crime.

Pretty sure its maximum 31 days due to privacy laws, unless there is a good reason to extend beyond that. It is unlikely a small store would have good reason, whereas an airport or bank might.
on this topic, whenever I see a camera pointing at me in a shop or my face on a monitor I like to take a moment to gesticulate obscenely (you can use your imagination) in the hope that someone one day will review the footage see it.
It is an invasion of privacy, but damn it I have to eat

why is my back pain and its relief all over the place?
usually starts with hips being pinched then my lower back starts hurting then my legs. bending my feet or even fingers seems to offer a little relief.
all these parts are connected mechanically, electrically, and chemically. but that's also helpful in treatment. have a look at this
"Referred pain" is usually felt in the low back area and tends to radiate into the groin, buttock and upper thigh. The pain often moves around, and rarely radiates below the knee.
Referred pain is analogous to the pain that radiates down the left arm during a heart attack. It is the result of the extensive network of interconnecting sensory nerves that supply many of the tissues of the low back, pelvis and thigh.
An injury to any of these structures can cause pain to radiate – or be “referred” - to any of the other structures. It is important to understand that this type of pain is not due to “pinched nerves”.
This helpful site has details and treatment options. Good luck and let us know how you do!

Get an MRI, don’t leave your GP’s until he/she books you an appointment for one. I went through 18 months of agony just to be told to take pain relief and rest. Long story short I needed an “emergency” operation on two prolapsed discs that were compressing my central nerve.
Once my injury was right in front of their eyes they were brilliant and worked as quick as they could. I’m proud of our NHS but you need to be assertive sometimes.
I hope your pain is a thing of the past soon.

Everything just connects to everything else amigo….I have a double stenosis of the spine and sometimes it causes a pain in the sole of my foot like a knitting needle being pushed into it. I struggle to see why! 😵💫
Hi 1212 - seems there's a lot of this about! I've had a lot of experience with this, and posted some (lengthy!) advice recently to someone having similar issues. To save cluttering up your post feel free to click on my name and find a recent post called 'Does stiffness travel through muscles?' Hopefully there'll be something in there that might help you. Good luck with it 👍
Try micro dose magic mushrooms for pain.

Hi everyone,
Recently recommended this place by a friend, but I'm not a seasoned smoker at all. I was wondering what's the best 'method' to get high? I've only ever smoked bud, but hear edibles or vapes are much better. I'd like to try vapes, but unsure what i'd need? Also, i see some listed at 1ML, how long would that last in comparison to bud? Is it more cost effective?
Also, anyone yous could recommend to by from would be much appreciated also! Much love :)
Recently recommended this place by a friend, but I'm not a seasoned smoker at all. I was wondering what's the best 'method' to get high? Hi bananahit, Excellent advice from Polly. For a Dry Herb Vaporiser, the Xmax V3 pro is also inexpensive, very efficient and easy to clean (invest in a bottle of ISO alcohol and you won't look back).
DrExtracts sell a battery/vape cartridge combo (sometimes) which is excellent to get started if you want to go the THC oil cartridge route (50:50 live resin recommended.)
I've seen reports of 250-300 "inhales" for these 1ml carts. I can tell you that my inhales are around 2-3 seconds long (you don't need to inhale more than this otherwise you run the risk of burning the oil) and they are lasting well over 300 hits (if not 350+ !) and I hit about 4 times only to get a decent "pipe hit (say 0.2g)" equivalent, which means I'm getting 80+ "pipes" from my 1ml cart!!!
That's about half an oz of bud equivalent (!!) BUT this is just me and you may need more/less hits and I don't exclusively vape carts so you may need more hits if using all the time. I'm just making the point that they CAN last a long time.
Tried my own edibles but that is next on my list from LB. Start with a low dosage. Edibles affect people in strange ways, some only take a low dose and trip fantastic and others say they take 100's of mg worth of THC with no effect! So, yeah start with a low dosage to see which person you are!
No method is "better" but thankfully we have choices.
Enjoy :)

Vapes are good but don't get you wrecked, iceolator hash, triple filtered hash, and sweet professionally grown buds are my favs.
I do use vapes too but they're only a filler imo.
Shrooms are good too.😁

Luv the shrooms on here! Speaking of vaping, I am looking for a pen or vape that I can use for both dmt carts and thc carts. I read something about an r coil? Also read that I need one with a ceramic coil for high temps. Any suggestions? Totally new to the vaping thing. I usually smoke my khalifa kush mixed with hash or keif.
Can someone here recommend one and where to buy it? Btw, I appreciate all of my customers who have bought my cubes here on LB.

Search amazn for
'Yocan UNI Pro (Universal Portable Box Mod) (White)'
I've had this in my cart for a while now, shame it used to be 20 and now it's 30.
These seem better than the pens which i use but can be adjusted to suit.

Vape Carts, which contain 70- 98% THC are generally too strong as a place to start imo, most bud is around the 20-25% mark which is still way stronger than in previous times. They are popular because they are so quick and easy and very stealthy if you use them when you are out and about. As for cost effectiveness, well you can pay between $25-$100 on here so it depends on quality (pure live resin is much more expensive than distillate for example). As a noobie you are going to get blasted on a couple of puffs so a 1ml cart will last you for ages but they can be prone to clogging and many report that the quality degrades quite quickly. You would be better off looking for 0.5ml carts to start with.
If you do go for a cart you will need a ‘510 thread’ battery to attach it to which heats the contents. Some vendors offer the straight C-Cell battery for under $10 which is perfect to start. If you find you love carts then you can upgrade to models that allow to dial in your temperature, preheat your liquid, even use two carts at the same time 🤯, and they are not expensive:
https://djvape.co.uk/products/yocan-uni-pro-box-mod-650mah
Remember you can vape dry weed which is a very good place to start. If you buy a device that allows you to dial in a lower temperature then you you can really experiment with what works for you and your vaping should be a smooth cool experience without any of the ills of combustion (or the coughing that often comes with Carts!). Assuming you don’t want to spend a fortune on your first device, but you don’t need to. For example you can get an Xmax Starry V3 for about £60:
https://magicvaporizers.co.uk/xmax-starry
After a while you will no doubt develop VAS (Vape Acquisition Syndrome) and start upgrading from the thousands available. I have more than a dozen with another 3 on my wish list and believe me that is not considered excessive 😂🤷♂️
You might want to start with a landrace strain that hasn’t been bred for strength. There are a couple of sellers offering Thai gold string at great value which is a lovely high that leaves you functional:
https://littlebiggy.org/item/oQy6oGiLmZwYd4jaGhZJ8YD9/view/p
Edibles deliver a long lasting high that for me is euphoric and quite wonderful but they effect users differently. Like I say it’s a LONG high (4 hours+) and you can’t just get off that train if you overdo it or the vicar pops around in the middle of it🫣.
IMO most edibles in the UK are too strong as they compete on strength. In the US the legal single dose is 10mg and that is a very decent place to start. Fortunately if you buy a sweet that advertises a 40mg strength it’s not difficult to bite off a quarter. Don’t top up because you think they are not working- it takes 45+ minutes to kick in. Personally I think it’s worth trying to find quality edibles that cost a bit more, and avoid the really cheap stuff claiming super strengths. I’ve been buying a range from the US:
https://littlebiggy.org/item/LtrYnbGKlqtbW2CqEg9CPIP5/view/p
But low strengths are also available here too:
https://littlebiggy.org/item/etnuurzb2LnbFkW3o351nO8D/view/p
If they don’t seem strong enough you can always build up over time👍
Always feel free to ask anything and enjoy LB (you will!😻)

Buy yourself a puffco peak pro then get yourself some concentrates I recommend Canadian imports hash rosin or some live resin you'll never look back. 😉

Hello peoples! :)
I've just been notified that Coinbase is closing my account, I have no clue why and they won't even inform me of the reason. Has this happened to anyone else? I've always been happy with the service/fees etc. so I'm somewhat perplexed to be honest! After speaking to CS on the phone they emailed me this..... What's a good alternative with roughly the same fees and isn't a nightmare to open an account, please?
We regret to inform you that we can no longer support your Coinbase account.
Our primary goal is to make our platform safe and secure for our customers. A variety of factors have been weighed in your case; for security reasons we are unable to elaborate on our internal decision process.
While we can no longer continue our banking relationship, we have not blocked your access to the current balance in your Coinbase account. You may still send your balance offsite to an external address.
Please know that we do not make these decisions lightly and we regret losing you as a customer.

Why the fuck were you using Coinbase for anyways? There’s a tonne of exchanges out there that arn’t the governments bitch and tool for spying, Coinbase is and always has been the anti thesis of crypto currency. Also you should have been buying BTC on there and sending to a wallet like Exodus trust wallet etc and sending to the vendor from there, don’t send directly from the exchange to protect all parties.
Yeah man I feel that, at least now you know, like I say make sure you buy wherever you want but always send to a wallet and send to the seller from that, saves a lot of hassle down the road for everyone.
Afaik Coinbase is working alongside LE to crack down on drug transactions, binance recently suspended a account just because it had $1 million+ in crypto in the account because LE told them to. The future of crypto on brokers isn’t looking good.
Exactly the same thing happened to me and my other half, which we only discovered this morning as we tried putting our usual order in. Frantic scramble to register and get validated by another crypto thingy in time for a postal cut off. I was raging AND fuming. Joined Coinmama and my partner Bittylicious without too much trouble but the tension waiting was unbearable. You can imagine.
Pain in the arse mate, I’ve just gone with Coinjar now but read that Coinbase have the means to check where funds are sent to, but not sure how that’d make a difference! I’ve never done anything shady with my account, pretty strange man.
I use cex.io exchange, registered in the British Virgin Islands, to purchase crypto. They have one of the most secure exchanges, fees are fairly low, and user interface is intuitive. Unfortunately, KYC info required to set up an account. They have a large presence in Europe too. I am in the US, and Coinbase has come under investigation by the Securities and Exchange Commission for such unsavory business practices. Coinbase is not a very secure platform either. I left btc on their exchange for trading last year, and my account was hacked and subsequently drained, even after I froze my account. Lost 5KUSD. I contacted them 4 times about this, but CB never responded. Finally had to join a class action lawsuit against CB where others had the exact same thing happen to them. Their security and customer service is way below the standards set by cex.io. I receive no affiliate money from my advice; motivated only in protecting buyers from a shady exchange.

I'd go to nhs if my head was hanging off, apart from that ..
Sry for rant, been told by work i don't get paid the first three days i'm off sick, so not only am i down physically, but financially now too.
Ain't the uk just the best country tho?

If you're not into big pharma, you could try Wim Hof breathwork.
1.It doesnt take long to do.
2.Good for inflammation i.e injury/trauma in the body
3. Will get you buzzing.. High on your own supply
Wim is an extraordinary athlete who has many Gunness World records.
He once ran a half marathon in the artic circle in a pair of shorts,
He got frostbite in his toe,
Docs wanted to chop it off,
Wim worked his magic and still has his toe.
I've been doing his breathwork and cold shower method for just over a year now. I'm never turning back...
and I still have all my toes 🤣
also in the last year
No coughs or colds👌
No covid🖖
Almost no migraine 👍
No more hayfever✌️
It's free, everyone should try it.
Enjoy!

I'll look into it, i've known about breathing techniques for a while but never delved in deep.
Must say the ice pack really helps tho, i put that on in the evening a go for a nap.👍

You can do the breathwork before you nap.
30 deep belly breaths in
Just let the breath fall out but not a full exhale
After the last exhale
Hold the breath for as long as possible (I have held for 3 minutes)
When you get the urge to breath
Breath in fully and hold, squeeze your abs gently for 10-15 secs and release
Boom...now you're on the way
3 rounds in total
You'll be flying..Trust me

the moral inferiority of veganism
farm work still has a hand in the slavery business it's a desperate act that "the most evolved of us" have avoided for generations.
why then do vegans look down on those that minimize this abuse by eating bred animals?
why then do vegans look down on those that minimize this abuse by eating bred animals?
Do you not see the hypocrisy in that? you can't claim to 'minimize abuse' whilst at the same time needlessly killing sentient beings.
not to mention the significantly larger percentage of land and crops required to make animal products when compared to making plant based products, you are actually drastically increasing the amount of 'farm work' required to make animal products when you have to feed livestock the majority of your crops
maybe also look into the vast amount of ongoing exploitation and slavery in animal agriculture and meat processing factories.

Interesting topic! Although admittedly, a little puerile. I though we were perhaps past the point of making mass and crass generalisations about large groups of people.
Firstly- arable farming does occasionally require cheap labour- and in certain horrific situations people are exploited and enter into slavery. The same goes for your weed, the clothes people buy, the phone you probably wrote your original post on. Surely a monetary based framework for structuring global society is to blame, and not simply people who don’t want to be complicit in killing and eating dead things when it isn’t necessary?
Secondly, a defence of veganism could be that a corrupt arable farm perpetuates slavery- most do not.
All abbatoirs kill, corrupt or not, and could be the reason why these morally superior vegans justify their sense of superiority- in my experience, most, and include myself here, really couldn’t give a shit about what you eat mate! Have at it!!!! :-)
The environmental impact of a meat heavy diet, and the various links to different types of cancer do speak for themselves.
From a moral viewpoint- i personally require a type of newly developed medication that did a shit load of testing on animals. Loads. My decision not to eat meat was based on that. A load of animals have died to keep me alive- it just seemed reasonable to avoid killing any more if i can.
Good point about the slavery! I hadn’t considered it as much a i ought to. I had heard the argument about field dwelling animals being massacred by combine harvesters anyway, and that deffo made me think….
Do you have data on the number of farms exposed as utilising slave labour? It would be a good starting off point to gauge the ratio you keep asking about.
Also, the quote regarding ‘the most evolved of us’- what are you quoting?

most farm work is large scale desperate labor. the moral answer is clear: be a DIY vegan though it's only a matter of time until the immorality of this is exposed ;)
idk, but its rather obvious why so many vegans behave almost like fascists. veganism in the west is pushed by the same ilk that was pushing global warming before this plandemic...
interesting mental gymnastics there, if you want to talk about forcible suppression of opposition then take a look in the mirror, also you immediately politicize the issue when in reality the vastly growing vegan population has absolutely 0 interest in the politics of 'pushing agendas', literally the entire moral compass of veganism is just about reducing / eliminating suffering
i've never pushed for anything (other than moral consistency, on occasions) if i see misinformation i'll simply attempt to correct it like i did with the op.

mental gymnastics? dude? read your comments hahah!
its quite obvious that what youre saying is just your personal projection.
besides, Ive done my research and Im not a naive kid as are the majority who have fallen for the vegan agenda.

so you're calling scientists and academics 'naive kids' whilst implying you have all the answers?
there's literally nothing more naive than labelling moral consitency an 'agenda'
also you seem to be very hung up on the term 'vegan', well it doesn't always have to be about vegans, as most intelligent rational humans will tell you, this is actually about the animals, not us.

link https://littlebiggy.org/link/jW379g
link https://littlebiggy.org/link/jW379g
Just going into KFC everyday for deliveries made me veggie, but I often go for vegan options. Even Greggs (UK) has vegan now. Just one KFC store, you gotta wonder where all those chickens come from. Just one (and I go to two that are always stacked with delivery drivers and families getting buckets of steroids). How are so many chickens stored? It doesn't even compute bc it's an endless amount. I'm talking two stores in one city. If someone offers me a meal w/ meat I'll chow it down, I'm not going to be a ponce about it, or push my views on someone else. But when you really look at it, or have a discussion with someone pushing the "I could never give up meat" it just falls flat. It's a choice at that point to carry on regardless. There's actually no need for meat anymore.
I have never entered an KFC or ordered from them. Stopped eating fast food a long time ago due to health reasons. Even went 5 years or so without meat and dairy.
Having lived through that ordeal I mastered the topic of food and health, at least in my case.
Btw, Im all for closing down big industry meat production and I support only small local sustainable production of food, not just meat.

Same when I ate meat never ate that crap. It's astounding how many ppl do tho. I agree man it's the way forward for now.
that's so absolutely true that when discussing this subject with stubborn people who 'could never give up meat' it always falls flat, probably why the original poster never replied! the issue of veganism is not contemporary within the scientific community
they will usually just straight up ignore science so they can push their own agenda, when the FACT is, there's actually no need for meat anymore, nor the suffering and exploitation associated with it.

To play devil's advocate, I do kinda get the "can't" pov. Sometimes I've seen pictures of cute cartoon cows for burger bars offering whatever deal, the idea of what your eating is connected but far removed from reality. You could essentially pull the car over to show your kids some cows and feed then some grass, and on the way back get a burger for the kids and a few pints. It's that Alan Brazil/Fruit Pastilles (youtube) mentality that I think the idea of free range needs seen as doing your part. That's what I say in conversation, at least, to the "can't", that free-range makes sense.
Ok so you've completely disregarded your original post by the looks of it
An estimated 50 billion chickens are slaughtered for food every year – a figure that excludes male chicks and unproductive hens killed in egg production.
that's only chickens but you're welcome to work out your own ratio there bud

Is there such a thing? even if there is it would be stupid since animals dont have consciousness like humans do.
big industry is the only problem in all of this. anyone that is generalizing this issue is not thinking straight
big industry is the only problem in all of this. anyone that is generalizing this issue is not thinking straight
Good point, although consciousness is actually immeasurable as it’s subjective… there are ways of measuring intelligence, but that’s a different thing, and academics struggle to agree on how it can be measured anyway…
That’s one of the philosophical arguments of Veganism- we can’t actually gauge human suffering against animal suffering because we have no way of measuring the suffering the animal endures.
Tough one innit!

I don't have a load of work hanging over me but I do like the way they get me out of the house. But I would like the health you get from a break.

I did and I missed it tbh. Not so much for the focus but for awareness feeling when it first kicks in. That said glad I took a break.

Try noopept, it will get you out of the house, elevate your mode and give you the healthy break g.
I just did after near daily use for months and I felt bad for 6 days max. I can't say I missed it a lot and used the time to experiment with other nootropics especially the racetams. I will start the semester all healthy with noopept and then start slipping in the moda when studies start heating up.

Okay thanks for letting us know, is that something to worry about or nothing too imoportant? Is change needed, and if yes, in what certain way ? Thanks for the help

i would lose the policy because in this context it looks sus and like op said its moot regardless.
you may also have trouble with 3 day a week shipping since orders get refunded if they don't ship quickly and the wall algo presumably favours the fastest shippers.
in any event welcome 🍸

Refunding anonymous buyers?
An order comes in anonymously, no problem the address is there. Unfortunately the payment is short, like mistyped digits short rather than fluctuation short (which I usually honour) so it's a bit too short. I don't really want to send less though it is an option.
Now I'm pretty sure that if I cancel the order the buyer is going to need to give a btc address but since he's anonymous, he's gonna struggle.
If I let it expire instead of cancelling, is it the same? or will the refund happen automatically?
If this is you and you were logged out, holla!

How come tobacco is allowed on here?
Seems strange to me that tobacco can be sold on here when nothing harmful is allowed. Tobacco kills about 50% of people who are addicted to it. Anyone else have similar thoughts about what is one of the most deadly and addictive drugs available?
Lol one minute your crying about tits getting sold now advocating tobacco lmao man, you just a troll.
Quite an old thread but nice to see another logical mind about. For many people still suffer major denial when it comes to the harm they are doing to themselves ;)
No need to comment every one , on how silly I was trying to separate the harm factors of cannabis and tobacco. Cannabis is super harmful just the same as tobacco if not worse. I must of had brain damage from vaping to much weed. I feel very anxious vaping weed as the death toll and health effects are very similar to tobacco . Again apologies for my sketchy opinions which are not founded in science at all

Not like smoking weed is healthy :)
I agree that tobacco is addictive and will make you dead.
But so will smoking anything.

please learn about nicotine and the difference we are talking about, it could save your life bigga
This was meant to be a real conversation about tobacco smoking. Statistics show 1 in 2 who smoke die from smoking related diseases. I am not talking about other methods of consumption using nicotine. The real dangers from smoking comes from the radioactive phosphates it is grown with
You seem very educated, well done! I don’t know what I was thinking! Cannabis obviously causes cancer just like tobacco. Cannabis doesn’t have any medical benefits, just the same as tobacco. You are completely right;)
Ps do some

If only the comparison was between cannabis and tobacco and not the consumption methods. Oh hang on a minute.....
This is not meant to offend tobacco users, everyone can do what they like;)
This was purely from a scientific standpoint and is not meant to make people upset.

Free crypto
Hi all. We know times can be hard and nothing beats a nice dank smoke for chasing the blues away but when budgets get tight it can be hard. I spent a long time stock piling genuine free crypto earners that have really come in handy for emergency bags. I don't spam but if anyone is interested in refferal code links or free earning sites, apps ect that are actually real then please do ask as you can't beat free btc lol

Hi LB.
I’ve been following the absolute shit storm with Sweetdreamz and DankHighz. Didn’t really want to wade into it, however now seeing this guy posting addresses on here has me super worried.
Can LB admins implement IP level bans for insane people like this that have no business on this site? It’s obviously not perfect and you’ll probably have to ban a few IPs before they are gone for good, but there must be some way we can keep destructive users like this out.
Just my two cents.

Substitute bad actors here for terrorists, noobs for "the children" and us as a scared population willing to sacrifice freedom and openness for safety. I respect your concerns but I do know what doesn't work: the tactics of a world I try to shrug off every time I login here.
As for me I'd rather bear the risk myself, I can always use a drop to protect my address if I chose to, that's the only no-trust solution anyway.

That means a lot of IP addresses saving which is a cure worse than the sickness. Minimal records are existential to this place.
even assuming the users ip is static (which it’s probably not) ip blacklist won’t be effective as most here will be using vpn anyway.
yes I think that may be the way to go, at least for anyone selling and taking peoples addresses
Diceman your picture is epic lol i have not smoked a bread bag in years thats what we called them they get you wrote of
lol, these were staple back in the day. use kitkat foil for the full ghetto experience! we called them ‘bottle bags’ or a ‘lung’ round our way. not seen one in the wild for years.
More like you end up with one lung smoking these we use to use a socket as a chillum i miss the oldskool pollen through a lung what a high
From what people have been saying, IP bans just wont work here. However I do think we could investigate some form of vendor vetting/invitation system.
Only solution to the problem you are describing is for sellers to not have buyers addresses. Crypto drone pick up and delivery?
