A new way to browse the items catalogue in a much more modern way than the items wall. With a focus on performance and usability.

I've packed it with features to try and make it a useful tool, too many to list really. So take a look, and bookmark it if you like it.

It's a beta, I'm still working on it. But I think it's good enough to use now. Would be good to get some users testing it.

I found this site a few months back, got scammed on my first buy, but persevered, found some good sellers.

But didn't like hunting things down on the items wall, so wondered if I could just take the data and make something better for myself to use. That spiraled into this project.

Someone on Reddit gave me that idea after I posted an earlier version, so figured out how to do it. But I'm skeptical. I guess the point is to bring in new users. Would be cool if this helped with that.

The thought crossed my mind to make a new account but didn't in the end. Maybe will make another for buying. Keep it separate, if that's what you mean.

My join date is when I found the site. This is Just something I built for myself while homebound from an injury, practicing next.js but felt like this would definitely help other people out so expanded on it.

I'd be using a currency conversion plugin and calculator when browsing this site, and get a headache from endless scrolling.

Figured that could be streamlined, so put my expertise to use, and got a bit carried away haha.

Hotness is what Biggy uses for sorting when "bigg" is selected, so it's this site's formula. I think it can seem stale so wanted to be able to sort by recently created/updated.

Endorsements were just something I added as an experiment, thought user votes might be fun. Hasn't been tested properly, so probably needs work, or might be scrapped. We'll see.

I'm a vv big privacy person and Im curious what others do to stay safe?
I personally do alot of things to stay safe so much so that privacy-ignorant individuals have told me im paranoid.

I do use brave browser I suppose. I don't use a VPN or anytime that. I occasionally use tor to access society.

Like others have said absolutely nothing. But I just don’t think privacy exists for normal internet users or anywhere in public. I’d rather enjoy my privacy by walking 5 minutes into the woods or go climb a mountain. I appreciate the time spent alone in nature, I couldn’t really give a toss that some snakes know my browser history. After all everyone’s data is basically compromised one way or another.

as we know big tech is constantly spying on us and selling personalised profiles on us. I use proton&mullvad, any other apps i just use an available FOSS or OSS alternative

I use Fennec as a mobile browser.
If ubports ever manage to properly implement VOLTE I'll be switching over immediately.
But, the only way to stay safe online is to stay offline.......

For ordering I use vpn to come on this site and anything else frowned upon by those pesky police, also order under a fake name to different addresses to prevent doxing

Only lose end is crypto as I use revolut but I’m looking into more private ways of owning a crypto wallet

I buy monero with coinbase (with kyc) transfer the monero to cake wallet (no kyc) exchange for btc straight to the sellers address

LB should add a payment processor for monero tho fr

pretty fast ngl, its just 2 transactions instead of 1, and ai have to since KYC is mendated to buy crypto here iirc

At least here in the UK, banking has way more criminal transactions then cryptocurrency at least from publicised numbers, Maybe its so low because of how hard it is to trace criminal transactions with monero?

Problem with that is, that's the logic they are using to push through legislation which allows complete bank spying, innit. Hohum. I take cash out the bank and pay cash only in person. If a shop is card only I'm like "byeeee". Obviously online there is no such possibility but I keep online purchases to the minimum possible. Like, I don't want a trail of where I spend money, just to middle finger that shit. They can look in my bank, but they won't see much. Until there's another big manufactured crisis and they scrap physical cash for cbdc's. No idea what I'll do then. Cross that bridge when I'm at it's thresh-hold I suppose.
