Carts to Oz
Going to Australia later this year. I was thinking about risking taking two carts in my luggage. Has anyone had experience with that? Might not be worth the risk but just wanted to ask. They’ve banned vaping so it might stand out in the X-ray. Any advice would be appreciated.

I have never been more thoroughly searched than by Oz customs. You know what they got me for in the end? I had a pair of walking boots in my luggage that were not new so had dirty soles. No actual mud (why would I pack them muddy?) but they were able to scrape some dried mud dust from the tread and said that was bringing potentially dangerous contaminant from abroad into the pristine wilderness. I do get it I suppose (I should do I got the full lecture) but nobody was checking what people were walking around in. $250 fine which was a let off as next time its $5k or some shit. I had 30 days to pay and never paid it.

I wouldn't do it mate.

They’re strict as fuck aren’t they. That would have stressed me out with the muddy shoes.
Not worth it I guess regarding the carts. I can buy an ounce from my mates, but just wanted to have something unique to swing to my folks that’s good for discreet garden chill out. They don’t smoke. Just bake.
