If it’s stoner-esque films you’re after there’s loads like the big lebowski, dazed n confused, half baked, friday, fear n loathing in vegas, harold n kumar, how high, cheech n chong, there’s a few off the top of my fried head i can think of 😂

American beauty’s a great film as well but dunno if counts as a stoner film 🤔

Napoleon dynamites always got a special place in my heart as well, always loved that film

I watched beasts of no nation, and city of god again over the weekend and i’d forgotten how good they were, would highly recommend if you haven’t seen them already… Also watched saltburn a couple weeks ago but thought it was trying a bit too hard and didn’t love it or find it too shocking, but it’s got the whole world talking atm so might be worth a watch if you haven’t seen it yet

Here’s a lil list of some great films i’ve watched over the past few months though, interstellar, seven samurai, 12 angry men, shutter island, no country for old men, there will be blood, grand budapest hotel, train spotting 2, arrival, moonlight, new bladerunner, social network, spirited away, pulp fiction, hateful 8, back to the future

ofc there’s some absolute classics you have to watch at some point if you haven’t already, shawshank, godfather, alien, space odyssey, citizen kane, jurassic park, the matrix, fight club, inception, raiders of the lost ark, the shining, se7en, eternal sunshine of the spotless mind, silence of the lambs, gladiator, good the bad n the ugly, do the right thing, forrest gump, taxi driver, saving private ryan, one flew over the cuckoos nest, american psycho… hopefully there’s enough there to find something you like, sorry for the obscenely long lists 😅

And then it started to get really niche, I’d walk into the living room and end up getting really into some old artsy black n white swedish horror film or something! So i’ve got them to thank for getting me into the films 😊

Have you seen Yojimbo? A classic, and The Good The Bad and The Ugly is practically identical (or, ripped off completely...) but with gunslingers instead of samurai.

‘The Pirates! In an Adventure with Scientist’s’. Made by Aardman studios. Just sublime. No idea why they never made a sequel!
For an intelligent thought provoking movie try ‘The Secret in Their Eyes’ Best foreign subtitled film I’ve ever seen. There’s a football stadium scene which blows me away! Both marvellous stoned. Enjoy

I watched rocky 1 , 2 and the best with mr t...3, with my 8 year old daughter and 11 year old son and they absolutely loved them especially rocky 3. I really enjoyed too, great simple story and characters. The music is so emotive and along with the epic final scenes, made me well up.
I might do rocky 4 with kids at the weekend but that is as far as I go. As the cheese ratio is too much for me after the series peaked at 3.

Is the newer (M+) worth the extra coin over the 2021 model?

For context I have a solo 2 and a table top water setup. I really like the solo 2, but I would like something a bit harder hitting for when I’m not in the mood to ‘sip’.

I've been using the 2021M for over a year now and love it in my vape rotation (I have a solo2 collecting dust; I may give it another whirl now you've mentioned it!) I have tried a friend's M+ only a couple of times and is very similar in feel, hit, flavour profile, heat up/cool down, etc.

Looks wise, I prefer my M but is that because it is my first and long used Dynavap? The M is costing around £55, if you shop around a bit and the M+ is around £80. If cost is the only issue, then go with the 2021M.

The one hit extraction with the M+ is a selling point but having tried it I found it a bit hit and miss and bordered very close to combustion (but then the important thing to remember about anything "Dynavap" is the learning curve and perseverance) but if I never used the one hit method ever again it wouldn't bother me!

Tips: A dynastash is handy or at least somewhere/something to place your hot M (especially metal and/or with a magnet to help keep in place and help cool it down).

With your first attempt and using a jet lighter, try heating the M first WITHOUT any herb so you can get used to the length of time for the heat up "click" and the cool down "click" - saves wasting/combusting weed when you invariably say to yourself "I've been heating this for over a minute now, where's the click... I thought it took about 20-30 secs... what's that burning smell?... Have I missed the click?... why are plumes of smoke billowing from my vape?"

Sound advice. All of my caps do 2 clicks. Some faster than others. You definitely have to feel out the cap, and how to heat it. Before even showing it some weed. They all seem subtly different to each other.

You will combust. And if that happens. You need to immediately clean the Dyna. Trust me.

It’s the second click. Even if the first and second clicks are really close together. The first click tends to be quite feint. The second one lets you know it’s time. And if you are like me. I go a bit over. Always. I do not respect the click. Been using the Dyna over a year now. Have combusted probably 10 times. You do learn from your mistakes 🤣 - dial up. When you try and be cocky with it. Nope. Horrible.

Still gets you high. So 🤷‍♂️

Simrell FMJ/Armored Cap makes it a lot easier to get consistent hits. But that’s going past the click. Balancing on the high-wire. Tryna get that perfect single hit. Plus the hotter caps are another learning curve.

Which when you do dial in. Makes all that perseverance worthwhile.

I found a UFO Induction heater removed a fair amount of pain and is very easy to dial in. Mine still works and has been pretty great.

Others have had them and they break within minutes. Not great QC.

It’s a different experience to the torch. I prefer the buzz from the torch. It seems more efficient
If you like everything up front in one go. But the convenience of the Induction Heater - man. I prefer it. The first hit really tells you what the terps are saying. And I love those flavours. The second one doesn’t taste as good, but gets you blasted.

A very versatile piece of kit. You really can dial them right in, to whatever you want out of them.

Get a couple. It’s kinda nice to do two bowls in a row 😂

The only IH I have used is the YLL 2.0 only 4 months in but so far I can really highly recommend if your ufo breaks!

I’ve done the 2 dynas back to back side by side both with hash. Felt like I was conducting a stoned orchestra. 🤪

You can even get a special double cap adapter thingy to fit one dyna. Sort of modern version of a cross joint!

If I want to sit and enjoy terps SOLO 2 is the one, but for a mixture of ease and speed Dynavap wins!

Glad you are enjoying it. You may be satisfied now but if you get an itch to buy another Dynavap I recommend the WoodWynd, I got about £30+ knocked off on Black Friday and that sealed the deal.

I love vaping hash in both, too.

My first time....

sooo its my first time properly experimenting with Liquid culture! for those of you that aren't mush nerds its basically a nutrient sugar based broth that contains mycelium, you use it to inject rye grain to make mushrooms. but I digress, I have carried out 3 experiments, 1 LME, 1 Honey, and 1 with honey and peptone and here are my results after 2 weeks! I have prepped them on to agar Petri dishes and will see if they are viable! so excited!! I will update when things change. but here are my lil beauties on the stir plate.💖 🍄 ☮️

Hehe the flea! me and my partner call it the Mexican jumping bean lol 😂
I wish it did make it more magic! Although watching the mycelium spin and whizz around on the stirrer is almost magic! (Well to my nerdy ass anyways!) lol
The mag stirrer is used to break the mycelium/spores up so it doesn’t congregate at the bottom of the jar, it should in theory make inoculating quicker and would enable me to create a library/archive of all the spores and genetics that I have grown/ found! etc 😊

I totally didn’t have to google what impeller meant..👀 lol yes I believe so, I wish I could add vids on here so you could see the tiny whirlpool it creates in the jar!
“the stirrer employs a rotating magnetic field to cause the magnetic stir bar to spin thus stirring it” (think google explained it better than I ever could!)😂
