I've just had my first no show on LB. The communication with the vendor has been brilliant, and I'm delighted with the resolution. However, I am now paranoid as hell.
There's a half of kush out there that literally has got my name on it. How worried should I be about that? Have any Biggaz had a knock at the door, because of RM?

I had a half go missing a couple of months ago. I wouldn't be too worried - it's much more likely a thieving postie had it than it got seized

Suppliers these days are all crooks.... firstly they get bulk of weed then put it in a tumbler and shake it to take the crystals off the bud so they can make there pillen and dope then the weed gets sprayed with terps to give the buds a flavour again. This is why the dope is dearer than the weed... absolute scams going on here. People need to wake up and start refusing this poison on here these days. There is a handful of sellers that are legit but 95% on here is selling fake thc grass... all its doing is making people sick

Great thread :) Sigh, I used to have and love both A LOT many years ago. I had to lose a lot of weight though so I avoided them for years. Now thankfully fitted and healthier I have them very occasionally. White pudding is also very lovely but the best I ever had was from Yorkshire and free range Sausages from Essex.

My personal favourite is Buchanan’s of Burnbank, Hamilton beef lorne. Stick that bad boy on a well fired roll with a tattie scone and listen to your arteries close up. Totally worth it!

What your favourite activity and place while stoned ?? Mountains, football, dancing , films,running or four poster bed 😵💫
Love running on edibles. If you’ve ever run sober and experienced a ‘runners high’ - kind of like being in flow state 100% in the present moment, it’s a good feeling anyway. It’s actually the endocanniboid system kicking in, so if you get a little buzz on before running it times it by 100 and feels fantastic, like I can move my consciousness into my legs almost. Can feel it working on inflammation too during and after. Works similar with lifting too. Anyone that exercises, if you can do it safely high it’s worth trying, opened up discovering a whole new way of being high for me that I wish I’d discovered earlier! Weed making people lazy is 100% a myth down to how you approach getting high.
Disclaimer: I’m not a scientist and I also smoke alotta weed so the above science might be completely made up.

Totally a myth!! Weed doesn’t make people lazy at all. And weed doesn’t make you want to stay indoors all the time either - that’s a personal choice, as well as based on safety of course. Some people might not agree, but weed doesn’t affect the memory either. What really causes memory loss is stress and trauma.. but totally recoverable too.

Yeah I'm not that big on "organised" exercise but I love to get out on the trails on the MTB. If I'm high then I definitely go quite a bit slower, just taking in the scenery. Some nice trails & woods in my area.
Mtb for sure. Huge forest nearby get high go night riding. Get a high lumen light strap it on away you go🌬 forest trails are so different at night and you bump into the odd longhorn to give you a little fright here and there👍🤛

I've been high for over 15 years now so there's not much I don't enjoy high, I certainly prefer high to sober and anyway some things that stick out as most enjoyable. Wondering around on clear nights, listening to music, kayaking/water sports, playing with dogs/animals.
If it's a nice day then outside for a wander in the countryside for sure. Or a good bike ride. Otherwise some good Sci-Fi or Music and chill. Four poster bed can be fun too 😝

I loved the opener with Klingons on Earth but even then it kept getting dumber with that poor man's Kirk routine from this guy. It seems like he belongs in an old Disney movie playing off a car.
Discovery by a long way for me. It just didn’t feel like Star Trek. Rewatched all of Enterprise recently and it was way better than I remembered.
Really? The 2nd season was annoying as any grade school social propaganda but I thought the 1st season was right up there near the best Trek.
I’m sure I’ll rewatch it in a couple of years and have a fresh perspective. I just couldn’t handle ( forgive me if I’m taking Star Trek too seriously ? )the fact that, fundamentally Star Fleet is military, yes? How did Tilly make it onto a military vessel? Even Reg Berkeley for all his foibles had a semblance of respect for the fact he was on a military mission. I love Joss Whedon’s dialogue and sass but he’s an inappropriate inspiration for Star Trek characters.

I'm so up for this. Always liked the idea of space travel but was put off by fear of the rockets bursting into flames. Getting an elevator up to a space station seems much more civilized. Hopefully there will be synth music and nice views on the way up.
Would cost to much to go nowhere + the size of the bottom would be colossal in size so it would require a vast amount of resources which humanity does not have. SpaceX is going in the right direction.

i was honest with mental health professionals about scoring weed over the internet insead of face to face, now i think they have flagged my address, is there any way to find out this with subject access or something?
I work for the government. With absolute certainty, nobody is flagging any addresses to anyone for cannabis consumption, unless you are smoking and your neighbors can smell it or if the postie gets a wiff. A cannabis consumer is so low down the food chain of importance that the authorities do not have the resources to deal with it, and its also not work their manpower in doing so.

I work for NHS and there is no way they would have done that because they are not allowed to due to confidentiality. It will be in your medical record but should not be shared with anyone and if it is, you can bring a massive case against them. You are probably better just saying you smoke it but never say where you procure it from. Keeps everyone safe.

I have borderline personality disorder too. I tell my doctors about drugs but not that I get it delivered. But to be honest they dont care. It's more paperwork than it's worth. And you are only smoking and not dealing so you should be ok. Cannabis helps me to get rid of my thoughts. My care coordinator said I'm fine smoking if it helps me. There are so many different opinions from "professionals" you just have to do what's best for you. Try not to get too paranoid (easier said than done) in the nicest way possible you are a small fish to them. Police wouldn't waste their time either. Have a good smoke and let your thoughts float away.

yeh its weird, they seized on the cannabis use thing and missed everything else, like the cannabis was causing my problems, when really i have problems and the cannabis is helping, im more stable and eat properly, i might not get things done very well or be organised but im stable.
The mental health system is a draconian mess. I was pumped full of Valium, then they realized I had ADHD. No idea how they thought filling someone with Valium was a wise idea. I even protested it but they insisted it would be great.. It wasn't.

I have been 100% honest with medical professionals for a long time. They are bound by confidentiality and are there to help you not get you busted. You have nothing to worry about my friend I promise. Mental health issues can intensify your worries ten fold, I'm speaking from a lot of very recent personal experience. You would have be selling large amounts cannabis on a regular basis to be of any interest/value to the authorities. Honesty will help you feel better and help you heal faster and you have some people who have your back and are not there to work against you. Buying and smoking small amounts of cannabis is a relatively risk free business these days.
I have PTSD. My doctors and psychologists all know I drink and smoke weed to help cope with it. No one has reported me or are monitoring me or anything. They’re only interested in helping you get better and helping you to cope with life. No one is going to report you or monitor you at all. The only time any health professional will ever refer you is if they think you will hurt yourself or someone else.
There isnt a way to "flag" your address with royal mail mate, the postie might be on to it if it is regular small packets with no return address. Or if he smells it on delivery, and is a knob. Stick with NDD if you can as those deliveries are guaranteed and trackable to the door. I dont believe MH professionals would try to intervene in such a way. Green is the least of their worries, so much really bad stuff going on! Class A's etc even benzos very dangerous.

This might be a daft question but has anyone successfully siphoned off leftover distillate from carts and poured it into a fresh cart? I've got a handful of used carts where the oil is below the intake hole and thus not wicking, but I reckon if I reclaimed the remaining oil from all these carts, I could nearly fill a 0.5ml cart (I've got a lot of used carts!). Hope that doesn't make me sound like a miser - it just seems like such a waste. Thanks in advance!
Yes, I do this all the time! Best way is with a micro syringe that is small enough to get into the cart. Heat the cart slightly either with a hairdryer or blowtorch (careful not to overheat) and turn it upside down so the oil starts running. The next step is simply trial and error, and takes a few goes to get right, but basically syringe up as much as you can from each cart whilst the oil is warm and runny, then as a last step I like to leave all the carts upside down in a jar and leave that on low heat somewhere, you should get the remaining bits slowly trickle into the jar, which you can then add terpenes/do whatever/syringe up again and into a fresh cart. Best of luck!

The carts come apart into 3 pieces, when my cart wasn't really giving out much anymore, I took it apart and folded some papers into long thin sausages and just pushed them into and through any crevices and tunnels until there was nothing left, a bit of heat from a lighter helps. I managed to make about 8 nice little sticky rollies even after my cart looked empty. The best place was definitely the downpipe that connects to the mouthpiece, loads of leftover oil in there.

No problemo! Another idea maybe to just take the tops off and turn the carts upside down onto one another in a vice or something that will hold them together, you can then collect and residue into the one cart, again, mildly heating it will help.
Ooh you know I did consider that as an option. I think I'm going to try several experiments utilising the various techniques suggested. Hopefully without getting into a sticky mess! The combination of flavours/terpenes/effects will be interesting... haha.

I don't get the whole idea that the colonisation of Mars, possibly Titan or the Galilean moons should be viewed as somewhere to move too, because we fucked the Earth. Too many volcanoes on Io, anyway... (not the nice vapour giving kind.)
Lets face it, terraforming any potential worlds can't be an easier task than cleaning up our little pale blue dot. I know that we have already reached some major environmental/ climate tipping points, but if people just got a grip on reality, and got their priorities right, we'd be just fine on old Terra Firma.

Damn I think that might just be the best scene in the show. I love Amos man. The character is actually quite deep despite his shallow meathead surface, and very consistent. Poor guy gets a lot of flack, I can't say he doesn't deserve it though.
Let me know when you finish watching it, I want to know what you think of the 4th season. They have that Amazon money now it looks brilliant doesn't it haha. I wonder if the books are worth a read.

Apologies if this has been asked previously (it would be good if there was a search field on lb!) But I have never vaped weed before I usually smoke just weed in a pipe. Does anybody recommend vaping and any vaporizers? Are brand names allowed to be mentioned? What a great site!!
I have a Pax3 , Arizer extreme Q and a dynvape. Check youtube channels. A lot of good content out there, like 420vapezone.
Hi bud. I have 3 vapes and am fully converted. A crafty plus which is great for flower. A dynavap which I use for hash mainly and a xmax starry 3 which does both but not as well as either of the other 2. I'd definitely recommend vaping. Much cleaner high than combustion and your product definitely lasts longer. Think choice of vape comes down to what you plan on using it for and how regularly etc. There's a good sub on reddit called vaporents that has plenty of info but personally if I was just going to have the one I'd go for the crafty plus.
Thank you ARTHURLEE I recognise some of those names in my searches. Cleaning is a bugbear for me and the Arizer Solo 2 looks good on this front. Some of these might be on the pricey side but I think to have a good experience you need to spend a bit when it comes to vaping.
Hi, I’ve smoked for 30 odd years and gave up tobacco last July. I pipe hash and I vape weed ( and some hash) through a Dynavap. There is a learning curve, but, I’ve not craved a cigarette like I would before. I think it’s because the dynavap is similar to smoking a joint. That’s my view anyway!

Hi, vaping hash works pretty well in the dynavap. I add it on its own not with weed. The one thing is that you need to experiment a bit. Some hash that tastes great in a pipe can taste less pleasant in the vape. It might be to do with the way the vape extracts the terp profile ( maybe. Who knows!). Still gets you mashed though!
I’m happy with hash in my journey pipe at the moment because it does the job and is really easy to clean but I’m still interested in all these other possibilities. The idea of concentrate pens is occupying my time at the moment but the cost of concentrates and the additional cost of coils etc is putting me off a bit. When I get overwhelmed with CPAS, cannabis paraphernalia acquisition syndrome, I tend to have a pipe and get high to forget about it! :)

It's pricey, but it's well worth it. You can even set your preferred temp and vaping profile on your phone.
I'd recommend that you get some cheap shake and use it as a medium for well crumbled hash. You get a lot of bang for your buck that way. :-)

Yeah I have tried that and it does work but I find a bong hit much more satisfying due to the speed of delivery and makes me cough less, surprisingly;) I recently bought a slug 33 rosin press and a dr dabbed boost evo as would like to have more of a one hit wonder experience than a continuous stream of smaller hits
I'm intrigued by the notion of distillates and shatter, but I'm a bit of a chicken. I don't do edibles either. I prefer to regulate my buzz, especially with sativa dominant varieties. I get anxious when things get too trippy. I put it down to some bad blotters I had in my reckless youth. It even stopped me from enjoying shrooms. I stopped doing that stuff 40 years ago, but the experience has left me feeling the need to be in control.

Hi Nej, edibles can be hard to regulate I agree but distillate and concentrates would be easier to dose in my opinion because it’s not all or nothing. I haven’t tried them yet but simply have a very very small drag on distillate pen or dab a very very small piece of concentrate and wait a while to see what happens. Don’t like it? It’s inhaled it won’t last for hours. One day maybe? :)
I used to smoke spliffs, gave up baccy. Weed in a pipe took a while to "do it" for me (missed the baccy I realise) then one day I regretted not using a pipe all my life!! Love it! I have bought arizer solo II and I'm at that not "doing it" for me stage again. I have one vape then think ok now I'll have a proper smoke in a pipe. Point is I feel I would need to vape a lot more to equal one pipe! I just need more practice and usage I think (Damn what a chore!). Maybe vape for day and pipe for night? :)
Mighty vapes are best imo. Also remember you can hold the vapor in for at lease 3 seconds because it’s not smoke;)

Quality build, easy to clean, great vapor production, great battery life.
There is also the crafty which is cheaper due to a smaller battery and I would imagine the same vapor quality. There are second hand ones on eBay quite often. Pricey but you double your weed efficiency and if you spend £1 a week on rizla then after 5 years it would have paid for itself.

Tried 3 different vapes now on seized 2 solo. Also tried different weed from different places. Without fail 24 hours later I get a headache and feel ropey. Any ideas why? Want to get off combustion.

Had this when I was sold liquid spice rather than distillate. I paid a small fortune for a stiiizy pen and cart. Lasted 4 months . Worth it. Felt soo relaxed the next day
This is dry herb vape. Weed smokes fine so I'm not sure its the product. At a loss as i like the high but not the hangover. Might need to stick with smoking but i want to lose the baccy. Might be neat joints then - my tolerance is so low though...

Tbh if it’s something recent you want I would go for tv series much better than movies nowadays that are just out for either a tax break or an attempt at just worldbuilding to more movies. Ready player one was the one movie I was hoping to be good and it was utter garbage.

I disagree strongly with the war comparison - that's not an example of a mutual effort, but the opposite: it's an example of large scale confrontation. People were called up to defend/attack from other people. MILLIONS of people died over YEARS.
This is a public health crisis, not a war. And the young haven't been called up, keyworkers, carers and health staff have. When I've been out and about with my family, it's fairly clear that the younger generations are the least bothered by what's going on, and aren't necessarily abiding by the guidelines to any effective degree.
And sadly, I don't think this is even something defined by the self interest of the ruling class. I think it's exposed the current ruling class is about as clueless as it ever had been. Johnson's flabby ensemble of random wankers have never at any point been good leaders. They got there off the back of a dishonest, divisionary Brexit campaign based on some entirely different agenda. They now have absolutely no idea what they're doing.
Hopefully it will serve as a reminder to humanity that if a democracy is to succeed, you can only back honest, able and skilled statesmen. Anyone less means we're fucked if there's any deviation from their intended narrative.

I know my case is extreme, but its not just old people who need protecting. My son is 2 years old and immunocompromised from chemotherapy. I don't fully believe in the lockdown but it is a bit more assuring for me that it isn't running rampant out there.

We need more youngsters in politics and less old farts creaming off the state. I think you reach an age when you start to become more selfish and want to accrue wealth. Bills and mortgages start to wear you down. I was definitely more idealistic when younger. We need to be a lot braver with who we allow to run the world and kick out the old guard. the youngsters are going to be paying off our debts for ever unless we change the system. I'm not old (38) and I very nearly got axed by COVID. I don't have a pre existing condition. It's worth considering that many young or younger people with pre-existing conditions are at high risk, as are the disabled and many mentally ill people. The structures of society also make sure that the poor are disproportionatily affected. So, what you're proposing, hypothetical or not, is a cull on the people in society who most need our support. And, I would add, people who add a huge amount of value to our societies. I am as annoyed by how our 'era' turned out as anyone, but putting boomers to death for the greater good? C'mon. Besides, the ruling class are not all old - they have children, who will inherit. Killing old (rich) people would do nothing for society. Advocating that other (poor) people's parents and grandparents have had their time is basically inhuman, or at least profoundly lacking in empathy.

There are elements that are particularly cruel for young generations that have been caused by the benefits enjoyed by older generations. Retirement / pension age is the first to mind. We all retire later if at all because they fucked the pension pot for those claiming now. Housing and land are impossible to buy at reasonable prices, because the older generation owns it all. Wealth disparity grows with extended lifespans, as the elderly hold onto it instead of spending it. But these issues are not the fault of those older generations, but the governments modus operandi of dealing the better cards in the deck to those who can vote at the time and have money. Who cares about the generations that can't support government agendas right now? No one is the answer, and it has resulted in a shit deal for the young that will only get worse as time goes on.
The chant throughout this has been that you “can’t put a price on life” which is ridiculous because we do it all the time. The NHS will not buy expensive cancer drugs unless they extend life for ‘long enough’, councils won’t spend on accident hot spots until a certain number of deaths have been er...’achieved’?!

as a 51yr old father of 11yr old twins (one boy, one girl), and reflecting on how I have myself matured (lack of!) I can honestly offer an opinion that humans may be physically capable of sexual reproduction early mid/teens, but that doesn't make them adults. Likewise 20s and even early 30s. I was a selfish prat right up to having kids. Having kids completely changes your priorities and outlook, including CONFIRMING that kids are, literally, the future. So you're right about preserving the future for younger generations. BUT if adults don't become adults (really!) until they have kids, and human kids can't look after themselves, and anyway don't mature mentally til they have kids, we come full circle, that is why you need 2 generations minimum at the same time. HTH!
I'm 27 with baby number 2 due next month. My life didn't feel lil it had much meaning before becoming a dad, I cared a lot less about everything. As for Corona it's really not a big risk to a vast majority of the population. Most of the people dying are 80+. When the people who are 80+ were born their life expectancy was like 67. They've done well. I think all lives are equal but not all deaths are tragic.

Smoking, I'm a bong man for 20 years and will never change. I burn using hemp wick, which does reduce carcinogenic intake. I have always wanted to get into vaporising, but the start up costs for a real nice vape always put me off, and my bong always leaves me satisfied so I see no reason to change. I never use tobacco as the temperature it burns at reduces thc intake, so bong bong bong, and maybe a blunt wrap for when I want a longer smoke over a hit.

Interesting, I've had a plenty, a crafty and a volcano, the volcano wins for me because you don't have to sit next to it or lift it up all the time. I loved the crafty but I had to send two back as the battery breaks. Does the mighty give a better hit than the volcano? And how is the battery on the mighty?
And the biggest win for the volcano is that you don't have to suck all the time, volcano does the sucking for you and you just inhale.

You still need to lift the bag and keep an eye on it as it fills;) also the mighty isn’t really heavy. The vapour is better IMO and you don’t lose any on the inside of the bag. The volcano vapour is very diluted I feel, plus for some reason it make me cough loads. The crafty and mighty are the same machine apart from the battery, which could be better. But batteries could be better in almost everything. I also bought an in car charger for the mighty, try taking your volcano for a ride it the car;)

I like to do it all. Vape carts for when i'm out and about. A fat doobie to stop the nicotine cravings and edibles in the evening to help with my sleep.
Love my handheld vape! Ticks a lot of boxes for me. Joints/spliffs are great too. Something about the ritual, the hit, the social aspect.

I couldn't get into vaping at first, it just didn't compare to a joint until I began eating the weed after vaping it and BOOM. I now get more fucked than I did smoking and the buzz lasts way into the next day.
I got sent a vape cart for free by another vendor and another place but it blew up on me it cracked and huge piece missing flying around the room.
But was told by the vendor since he has tried vaping he will never go back to smoking. It is stronger apparently.

Cool, I only vape bud in my volcano, all those people getting sick in America from vaping cartridges put me right off tbh
What do you do with your weed once you have vaped it? Do you put it into something and how much would you eat? I always end up throwing it away but did think about doing this.
Eat about 0.1 to start, just sprinkle it in a yogurt and mix it up and eat it. It's best not to do it on an empty stomach, have something to eat and you will get the full effects.
