Orange Fetish
It's no secret that I have a wee thing for orange flavours and also for Green Cat. So when GC added a Mimosa Punch to the menu I was all over it. What a perfect combination of vendor and product. I'll probably be smoking it all month now as I bought extra.
So what's it like?
Mmmmm... It's bloody lovely and orange that's what it's like. It's got a very old school orange flavour. There's hints of other vintage strains in the smell. It's almost a bit northern lights, a hint of skunk, but mostly it's a lovely deep citrus orange.
Stamp of Approval
It gets my orange stamp of approval. It smokes lovely and is definitely very pleasantly orange. The main stone is nicely delayed and kicks in late. It's not a massively heavy hitter but it's getting me pretty stoned so I imagine it'll work out for many other LB folks. I've just hammered two fatties on the bounce and have a little face sweat and will be super happy to eat dinner soon.
Genetics
Mimosa Punch is a cross of Mimosa and Orange Punch. Basically it's double orange and I suppose double punch too as Mimosa has purple punch parentage. Both strains have a link back the original old orange bud. It's the perfect orange storm.

Evening BigRoo, As someone who has never tried orange strains, How would you say the stone is? I've had a couple of bits from GC before and have all been absolutely top notch, I may order the Mimosa Punch next.
Generally a good orange bud stone will be a fairly gentle hit to start but with a much more solid but delayed follow up hit. So you have a bit of a high first but then a heavier stone sneaks up and kicks in. That's the sign of good orange genes. The Mimosa Punch is a really decent stone but not a massively heavy hitter. I've got several strains at the min and am only smoking the mimosa though. I've got a melonade I've not even opened. That says a lot.
I am vaping away on the Melonade right now, I rate it highly (though I don't carry much weight around here), And I'd be very interested to hear your opinion on it. Though I am new I have read most of your reviews and have been toking a little while now before I found LB.
The melonade is lovely. A fruity twisted diesel flavour. It's a good strength with thick smoke. I like it.
A sentiment I echo, it's packed with flavour and goes nicely in the Volcano too. Just curious, and I'm not getting preachy (You do you man), but have you ever tried a DHV? Not cheap shit, a good one? I haven't smoked for years and struggle with a good old joint. I understand the "cleaner" stone might not be everyone's cup of tea, I'll be honest, it took a while to get used to.
I've got an Xmax which is alright for my occasional vaping. My mates got the mighty which is excellent but I think he probably goes through more weed. Every so often I quit spliffs and use my vape and also my dab pen. I always go back to smoking joints. I miss the slow burn chill of a simple joint. If you've not tried extracts through some sort of dab rig or pen then that's a pretty good experience. They go a long way in a pen too.
I may also own a Proxy for extracts. I'm glad you've done what a lot of my friends have done, which is try a DHV. I feel as though cannabis is a journey for some of us and it is all about trying new experiences.
I'll dig a bit out tomorrow and have it as my first one. My review now would just be "it's not orange" as I've already started on the Mimosa.

Skywalker OG is one of my favourites when you get the really blue tasting versions. I had pink certz smalls which was probably the best bargain bit I've had on LB. Really lovely smoke that.

Lol. Yes mines quite blue it's very nice, very strong flavor in the vape. The pink certz is very candy like. I've just bought 3 live resin vapes so don't need more bud 😅

The druids are a small grower that produce really old school natural buds with tons of flavour once per season. Their latest batch went live and sold a couple of strains out straight away. I'm not surprised. It's really nice weed - and very different to the commercially grown furry pebbles we're more used to. I've not had any of this recent lot so can't say how it is but I expect it's lovely. Worth keeping on your radar. Linked to their profile.
Thank you! Know what you mean about furry pebbles. I love a pungent flavoursome flower that's got nice structure not like a rock. Just checked out druid and looks like they have nice bud for sale now.
Snap it up while it's there if you've got the coins. So long as you're expecting a more wispy natural grow with lots of old school flavour notes I think you'll be happy with it. I can see why they sell out fast as it's a lot different to most commercial buds here - aside from a few other small growers - so is a standout product. Damn it I want some too now...
I've over spent early though so am committed to an orange month. I've got last bit of jungle juice, forbidden fruit and double helping of mimosa. The druids are due a new crop sometime soon so will be a shame if I miss out through cash flow thoughtlessness.

Well the druids landed today, I must say it's impeccable service from these guys...when I message to change my order I had an immediate reply. Never had that happen on LB before.
The bud, they really do stink, both have a skunky edge to the smell. I've only tried the Foster so far...so glad I changed my order! Sticky icky buds, light in weight and take a bit of grinding coz of the stickiness..smells so good tho...even though I think that grinding buds knocks the flavour/ taste ..a discussion for another day that. Still it tastes divine, and a quick draw on the blunt before lighting takes you back 30 odd years , beautiful taste. Smokes and burns clean,no harshness at all . The high hits fairly quick In the eyes but the head takes a little longer but it keeps coming and coming....I has my first blunt around lunchtime, 12ish...had another about 2ish and still felt stoned when I had tea at 6 ish ..never touched anything else til after tea. Bloody lovely.
If you can, grab some mate ...you won't regret it.

That's the druids experience! Top vendor. I felt just the same when I got my first order. Took me back to early Dam days.
Apologies for the delay... Wham boom, another beautiful smelling offering from Druids.... sweeter smelling bud this, definitely get vanilla and a bit nutty too but my nose isn't the best! Again sticky buds, a bit denser than the foster too. Smokes super clean and smooth, can taste the vanilla aswell on the inhale a bit ...slightly spicy exhale, not unpleasant at all. The hit comes on pretty quick to the head, quite uplifting straight away...then after 20min ish the body starts to catch up and everything starts to relax. All in all pretty well balanced imo.
Again I have no hesitation in recommending it...but if you have to pick one I'd go for the foster...so happy I changed my mind and got some of both.

Damnit. Feel like I missed out. Druids always pop out unusual strains grown to perfection. Am jealous. I can't justify ordering though as got a few bits left still. I'm smoking the blue lemon from GC at the min. Was silly cheap but is actually pretty nice to smoke and tastes much as the name suggests. I've got some RS11 for later on. One of my favourite strains. Seems to taste of something different each puff. I've still got some mimosa tucked away. Will go back to it once I'm desensitised to the orangeness.
GC has had quite a few nice cheap bits lately . Never tried the blue lemon tho.

Thanks man for your kind words. I had the mimosa punch from MJ too which was lovely. This is a bit different to that, the buds don't have those dark little leafy bits like on the MJ version so it's not as pretty. But it's a stinky old school flavoured double orange bud to smoke for sure. Price is cheap too.

Been buying off gc for a while now with no issues but my latest order still hasnt arrived after 3 days since "shipped" and yes i agree just from that context i sound like a whiney little bitch but usually its next day or 2 days with gc, atleast its been like that with all of my other orders. And he just got his first review (not from me hash isnt my thing) on pk gold hash from someone saying they havent recieved their order in 5 days. He also hasnt used messanger in about a week which is unusual for him. (THIS IS NOT TO SAY GC IS A SCAMMER OR ANYTHING LIKE THAT, IM JUST TRYING TO MAKE SURE HES FINE/ HASNT BEEN TAKEN DOWN OR SOMETHING)

I rarely get things next day from Cat, and expect it potentially to take a couple of days. Sometimes though it turns up on a Sunday! Thought it was a Royal Mail raid the first time that happened and 2 guys were in the van... It'll all be fine.

Poor Delivery and Customer Service
Bit of a harsh title if you not sure if you made the mistake and the vendor msg's y0u and item has been sent. Just saying

I placed an order on September 27th, and it wasn’t shipped until the 30th, with tracked delivery. However, my package never arrived. After several messages to the seller (with responses only around 9 am daily), I finally got the tracking info yesterday 9/10. The tracking showed it was delivered, but after contacting Royal Mail, I found it was sent to the wrong address. I was close to blaming my housemate before I made the sensible decision to call royal mail 😅
When I informed the seller, they essentially blamed me, which was frustrating. I can't be 100% sure the mistake didn't happen on my end but my address is auto filled and it is correct. While I understand mistakes happen, the seller's slow replies and lack of real help have made this experience really disappointing. Has anyone else had similar issues with this seller? Would it be worth disputing?

I think your up there as one of the best, always accommodating small requests on buys, quality has always been reflective in your price.
Bit of a harsh title if you not sure if you made the mistake and the vendor msg's y0u and item has been sent. Just saying
My address autofills for me and it is correct? Ive done it over 25 times and had no issues ever, I don't see how the mistake could be on my end however because the address deletes itself, of course i can't be 100% sure. Is that hard to understand?
LB removed the saved/auto-fill feature from the order page for Opsec reasons. I’m not saying you don’t have a device that still enables that but none of mine do. How wrong was the address?- I’m guessing a mix on the postcode? Hard to know where the blame lies, even RM? Do you know where they actually delivered it?

It was a single digit with the number of address for example instead of 78 it was sent to 68 we were accused of changing the address somehow.

My orders auto-fill the address. But I always double check before sending the coin. Complacency is everyones enemy.
I take screenshots of my orders to keep myself covered in situations like this, I then delete once delivered.

I kind of waster a load of Distillate. I heated it up in some boiling water and thought how can I consume this. Took out a yogurt and sprayed some into the yogurt. Dug my spoon in only for all the distillate to get stuck to the spoon. Me being high thought no biggy I can lick it off or scrape it off with my teeth. 1 hour later i still have distillate stuck to my teeth!
About ten years ago I was moving flat. I put the final lot of my clothes and my weed pots into one black bag to take with me and rubbish into another to go outside for the bin collection. By mixing these up I lost both the clothes and the weed to the bin lorry.
I've had weed that I left in my smoking shed. Moisture got in to it and it all tasted of NOTHING, the taste was completely gone. It was a huge jar full. The big 5L jars. Absolutely wounded. But i still sold it to a friend who didn't mind about the no taste.

Hi mate I’m really sorry about this, trust me I’m constantly working to try and improve our shipping I know it’s not always as fast as other vendors, we don’t ship from a major city like most other vendors which I feel has something to do with it, but I know it could still be better so I apologise. If you message our account my admin team will sort everything for you, I’m also happy to send an extra cart as compensation. Considering the time taken to get to me compared to almost any other vendor (including Hashishin) I've come to the conclusion that postage takes place from some secret island base, or low Earth orbit. Everything has always turned up eventually though, other than once, and I had a swift apology and refund on that occasion.

We'd advise going for special delivery over the holiday period, even special can take 2-3 days as it comes closer to christmas. Sending stuff 1st class over the christmas period is just asking for trouble really.
I'd definitely advise anyone to follow this advice as the only time I've had a cluster of parcels disappear was around New Year this year and they were all 1st Class. Too coincidental not to be a dodgy postal worker as it was 3 parcels to 2 different addresses.
Yup, it's likely they were stolen. During the christmas period, royal mail will hire a load of temp workers who will fill their pockets. Happens every year.

Thats a tough one. When its marked as sent, is it actually sent, who knows.

Anyone know why I'm constantly waiting a week when I pay for next day delivery? It's not only Pistach, its other vendors too. How can I get NDD that turns up within a few days instead of ages?
‘Need For Speed’ causes virtually all the problems on here. Order a few more days before you need it, save your NDD money, and relax☺️
More or less depends on when you live in other words your local RM. I've never paid for NDD and always get it next day with most vendors.
I had this issue with Pistach a while back but to be fair to him my last 3 orders with him and NDD have landed next day but I live only 60 miles away from a main depot so generally most of my post is quite quick. I would question it as last year I had this issue and it turned out they wernt sent out though marked as sent
It 100% depends on where you live, Most sellers do send next day (before 2pm cut off) however Royal Mail quite often has backlogs in their system so you don't actually get your order until days after!
As with all our national services our postal service is also a shitshow!

When you checkout it will show you a conversion to pounds although yeah just type 'USD to GBP' into your browser.
Don't use Crypto.com, terrible customer service and outrageous fees.

Yeah I have noticed crypto app fees are pretty stingy but it was the easiest one for me to set up as a complete novice so I'll for sure be looking into those other ones for next purchase. Still quite odd buying online even though I've been doing it for some time. Told my brother about it and ordered a pack for him, when it actually turned up it blew his mind so much he's got brain damage now.

I spent the next few months lurking and reading and plucking up the courage to order. i then spent a while sorting out a source of crypto, then bottled it again for about a month. I finally went for it with an order from TGT with some hash. It arrived the next day. That was Nov 2020. I'm now on 100+ orders.
I've since got a mate signed up and soon my sister will be on LB.
I spent the next few months lurking and reading and plucking up the courage to order. i then spent a while sorting out a source of crypto, then bottled it again for about a month. Yeah since I wrote that post i've been much luckier and found some decent vendors, big shout out to; The Gentleman Dealers, Mad Dabber and Dr Greenthumb who all had decent service and stuff :D Also I tried Greencat and had a mixed experience, but now that you mention it The Spacemen were decent too ;)

I'd seen a website in the news supposed to be selling weed. I'd started looking through reviews, which were mixed, but ultimately it seemed like it was a scam. Certainly at best a roll of the dice. Eventually I read a comment on a forum that said something like, "ignore all these sites and go little biggy. You can thank me later." Except I can't thank them as I've no idea where I read the comment. Certainly I should thank them as I've ordered all sorts of bits n bobs in the short time I've been a member since. Maybe I should write up my own beginners experience at some point as my mind had been blown by LB and the community here. There's loads of things I'm looking forward to trying next.

I used to use Budmonkey too, seems crazy but I reckon it was like 2002/2003?! Scored some AK47 and decent hash. Such a novelty back then, remember using NoChex as payment too.
Remember around the same era another clear web site called Pepe' Page (?) got busted and was front page news in UK Tabloids?! I remember bricking it same would happen with Budmonkey and it wasn't long after when it went offline. A popular online blog links to lb in the newsletter. After rifling through various pages here, I figured it looked legit and made an order. Nearly a year later and I'm never going back to a plug, ahaha.
There was some forum I found that lists all the websites that have scammed ppl out of weed online, a few people on there pointed at this being the only legit place to buy so after a few searches I couldn't find anyone saying theyve had a bad experience on here so tried it out during pandemic/lockdown and haven't bought any off the street since :)
After moving from one area to another in the UK I went from having a really good plug who I had used for years with a consistent supply of good quality weed to working my way up through street level dealers trying to find nice weed, everything I was picking up was really bad quality compared to what I used to pick up back home, so I started doing a bit of research and searching online and found some websites that seemed and I had heard where legit. I tried 2 other clear net sites that at first was okay but then the quality was inconsistent and wasn’t worth the extra premium compared to the local dealers prices. Then I stumbled upon LB I had looked at it a while ago and could have sworn it was a scam it looked too good to be true! but though fuck it what’s the worse that can happen I seen green cat’s exodus cheese and as i had not seen any cheese for a long time and it was at a reasonable price I placed a order, 3-4 days passed and I was almost certain it was a scam but one Saturday morning it turned up! Never looked back since

A Nice Surprise
Hey Biggas. There have been quite a few topics over the past week slating vendors for various shenanigans, and rightly so as bad service should be called out for the good of the LB community. I thought it would be nice to add some balance and shout out one of the good ones.
A few weeks ago I ordered a couple of packs of CK's Baked Cones. I am pretty seasoned when it comes to edibles but Mrs B is quite the opposite. To cut a long story short she took one in two halves, but clearly too quickly as she had a massive whitey. Fortunately I have seen or been responsible for enough whiteys that I could see it coming a mile off and managed to get her through it.
I casually mentioned this on a topic that CK started a week or two ago and he said he'd add some weaker cones if I order again. I completely forgot about this offer and placed an order for another bag this week. I was very pleasantly surprised to see CK had included an extra pack of 4 cones at a much smaller dosage for Mrs B.
I should also add that the cones are fantastic, some of the nicest tasting edibles on LB and they hit hard. There are some very generous and thoughtful vendors on this platform and you can add CK to that list.

Great post man. What a cool vendor. And how nice are the cones? We see a lot of these “best edibles on ‘ere” comments in reviews on Biggy, but these really are class.
Cheers mate. We're very lucky that on LB we have some amazing edible vendors and these cones and CK are up there with the best. Can't taste that they are medicated at all, which is both a good and bad thing as my Mrs found out.

You're welcome, it was a really kind gesture. I think lower dosed cones would be a winner, it's hard to eat just half because they taste so good. I'll stick with the full strength versions though.

Any biggas would be interested for us to make some vape out of our last bit of premium ice water hash gmo ? Made some for our stash and I think it's very nice just like our 100% Live-resin vape and producing lots of clouds 💨💨 and GMO terps coming through lovely, possibly can compare to hash rosin vape
We have taken it off the menu and left few grams for those who want to compare the raw hash with the vapes should be interesting. Vapes will be available in few weeks hopefully mid October. Will be very limited 10 to 15 1ml cartridges, wewould like to give 1 per customer so at least few biggas get the chance to try out.

Just my luck been on a THC break so the day i decide its time biggy is down and i have missed all the cut offs lol
Worse than when you've sent your coin about 20 minutes before cut-off, and you watch the sat/vB increasing in real time and your transaction gets bumped back, and it's not confirmed until after the cut-off. I'm not the only one watching their transactions go through on Mempool.Space while rolling and/or smoking a joint, surely?

I recently purchased this stuff from another platform (naughty me), and it’s the best thing I’ve ever put into my body, that includes food.
So, how do we get this wonderful fuck honey into a spliff, well here’s what I did.
I put 2g of the cantaloupe into my freezer for about 5 minutes, I took it out and smeared some onto some grease paper and coated it in ground bud. I then rolled the fuck honey into a worm. It was a gradual process, every time it became too loose I’d put it back in the freezer for 5 minutes, roll it and repeat until the fuck honey worm is was 3 quarter the size of the paper you’re using. Layer your skin with flower, add the fuck honey worm and more flower on top. Roll and kick back.
I tripped absolute balls, I closed my eyes and saw animals and plants that I couldn’t comprehend.
