TLDR: Jungle Boys packs are $70 each until Thursday, June 13th. A buyer made accusations and left a review claiming the packs are fake. Below is evidence to the contrary. I'm running a competition to win 3 packs of Jungle Boys. CONTEXT
I sold 3 packs of Jungle Boys online to a buyer who claimed they were fakes due to the appearance of the buds, stating that over three strains they looked the same, smoked poorly, and didn't register on Cann Verify. The buyer also mentioned that the verification on shop.jungleboys.com and the scratch-and-prove verification looked fake. I conducted some research, which I will attach below, to counter these claims. I offered to share this information, but the buyer became irrational and insisted he knew what he was talking about, despite the evidence showing otherwise.
The buyer has since left a review with a poorly taken photo showing straggly buds and three open packs, all of which he claimed looked and smoked the same. In his initial message before the purchase, he mentioned that a previous vendor had also sold him fakes. Perhaps his tastes have changed, and rather than admitting it, he has doubled down and altered the contents. However, I have opened three like-for-like packs with matching flavors, and all the buds look perfect and each pack smells very unique.

CONTEXT
I sold 3 packs of Jungle Boys online to a buyer who claimed they were fakes due to the appearance of the buds, stating that over three strains they looked the same, smoked poorly, and didn't register on Cann Verify. The buyer also mentioned that the verification on shop.jungleboys.com and the scratch-and-prove verification looked fake. I conducted some research, which I will attach below, to counter these claims. I offered to share this information, but the buyer became irrational and insisted he knew what he was talking about, despite the evidence showing otherwise.
The buyer has since left a review with a poorly taken photo showing straggly buds and three open packs, all of which he claimed looked and smoked the same. In his initial message before the purchase, he mentioned that a previous vendor had also sold him fakes. Perhaps his tastes have changed, and rather than admitting it, he has doubled down and altered the contents. However, I have opened three like-for-like packs with matching flavors, and all the buds look perfect and each pack smells very unique.

On the one hand, I do think there are far too many jungle boys packs available everywhere these days. Enough to make most people suspicious to some extent. I’m not saying that vendors are necessarily buying these in bad faith but even some of our best vendors have been caught out.
For me though if I was faking these packs, I wouldn’t put the sort of weed inside that gives the symptoms the buyer describes i.e. truly shit and treated weed. Why not put half decent weed in or even really quite good and see how many you could get away with rather than being caught out right at the start. Surely the margins are easily good enough to do that?

it would be easy enough to put better weed in, than the person is describing, easy enough to get a pack that looks legit. a nightmare to get a blockchain monitored, government audited verification system to not reject a fake pack or stolen empty pack. if i had any doubt after spending days researching i would have just delisted them

As well as replacing all the bud, I suppose you also think I put that yellow shit inside the packs as well?
Funny how if you zoom in to the top middle pack in YOUR cover photo for the JB listing, you can see evidence of the same yellow stains that were on my packs. The inside of my packs were so stained that you could see it faintly from the outside through the Jungle Boys writing, as is clearly shown in one of my review photos. Just like in YOUR cover photo seen here.
And here is YOUR listing cover photo again but with colours enhanced, just to highlight what I'm talking about. I encourage anyone to check this out for themselves. Turn up the brightness all the way on your computer and zoom in and you'll clearly see the yellow crap that was in my packs.

No offence mate but with your luck if I was you I would really stop buying JB packs! (imo the genuine gear is very good weed but not worth anything like the mark up by the time its sold over here. And it tends to be pretty old too...)

I would probably check packs are current, I’ve seen vendors caught out before selling stuff in packs that haven’t been in use for a good while. From the albeit extremely small research I’ve done on JB packs they’re faked extremely commonly, and I wouldn’t put it past people to be able to fake/manipulate the verification methods.
A long with the qr code which hopefully links to the legit shop jungleboys site the Mylar itself should feel good quality ( there is a difference lol) with the print and descriptions all to a high standard too many fakes and sub standard products now because of money hungry dealers who know the demand is as high as ever

OK as admitted on the previous competition (which I didn't win? Unfair. Or... Conspiracy!!) I know nothing - of anything - but in this case I'd probably be spot on in my intuition that the correct procedure would be to lure the pack (herd? idk what you call it) of Jungle Boys into a room with sealed entryways, shout "Pigs!", and assess the response.

I will give that your response to these reviews - measured and researched - stands in stark relief to the tin-eared aggression of several of the vendors that push back against negative reviews.
Personally, I really wish there was a better way for vendors to flag dodgy reviews - after all, they're a real problem for everyone, not just the vendors in receipt of rating damage - which might save on a lot of this ugly back and forth.
Then again I also wish there was a way for folks to safely blow the whistle on genuinely dodgy products without compromising their safety i.e. delivery details, doxxing, etc, but specifically in a way that could be independently verified.
I'm beyond believing such things could exist, though. We can't be having nice things.

if a government monitored blockchain based chain of custody method of verification gets swept aside there's literally no hope for us having anything native to LB that does the job. maybe i'm worn down and pessimistic from some of the BS i get sent in DMs. theres some great people on here and i wont leave just yet but i'm done with people trying to pull moves. i can make mistakes and sometimes do but always make sure to over compensate and make things right but this site is getting worse with bad actors which is at some point going to make the ecosystem implode if something isn't done.

From the buyer's review, I also believe that these are fake JB packs. Real jungle boys strains should differ in colour for each strain. That bud all looks the exact same colour. His description of negative physical symptoms such as headache and harsh throat are also convincing as to these being fake.
Yes you're right the buds he has in his pictures look like they're all the same but look completely different to the packs I've opened. Please look at the difference and also read the report. His review makes no sense. How have over 40 packs been sold on here all with happy customers and buds that taste and smoke how they should but he managed to get three random packs that all look horrible and all the same as each other. Think about it 🤔

So I never buy branded flower for the reason they're often faked, but with a genuine JB pack, the QR code should show how many times it's been scanned, so harder to fake.

exactly imo. the thing is when he first messaged me my heart sank. and i took it seriously. the last thing i would want to do is sell fakes. i handled every point he made and researched it. the only thing i cant account for is his personal taste. but when i have looked at the pictures he's posted compared to the ones i opened of the exact same strains they are worlds apart.

Biscotti Cream. Grape Cream Cake is my grail strain, and this is it crossed with Biscotti. A recent JB pack of this from THC23 made me drool into my pillow after a smoke, even with my tolerance. There's something about GCC that utterly annihilates me, and I adore it.
I'm sure the one I really liked was Strawberry and cream but not 100% certain as I had it last Xmas. Personally I prefer TenCo but Jungle Boys got some good green
Maine Lobster is one of my all time favourite strains. Don't think I've had a TenCo i didn't like. Jungle Boys are pretty consistent

I don't see an alternative I think bringing back books and learning hands on far outweighs any progress that was made from the smart phone or the tablet.
All ancient empires were built without trivial prices of technology and thrived, and all that has happened since the birth of 'at home' technology is the degradation of the entire globe. And to be completely honest apart from technology getting more compplex what actual advancements have occurred in the last 50 years? There is still no 'cure' for things like cancer and dementia, people are dying younger and poverty is more prevalent now than it has been in that time.

I am of the (controversial) opinion that they are not: no tech is evil in and of itself and the dangers I found are over-inflated.

Nice competition! Opinion: The constant bombardment of advertising drains the life out of me. All but a handful of very specific adverts make me wanna scream. I haven't always been like this. Nearly all of my life I've been able to tune it out as presumably most people do. But it's hard not to feel like I'm constantly trying to be manipulated, my [very basic, mind you] intelligence is constantly insulted, and that I feel very trapped by it. Nearly every facet of life

Vendors should test and describe their products personally (or have a tester to do so), and should do so with each new batch.
It's mostly important imo for medical folks but it'd serve all corners of the community, especially those on a budget.

TBF your shroom listing descriptions are absolutely topshelf anyway, so with that kind of willingness to help I'd very much doff my cap if had one (and type an over-long post of support and appreciation on your wall, only I already wrote one for each of the first two vendors whose listings most impressed me with their authenticity - neither of whom I've yet bought from - and I'm honestly not sure it'd help anyone to write a third at this point!)

I just deposit to kraken and send straight to littlebiggy is this wrong and should I be doing it differently as I have been doing it this way for nearly 2 years and had no issues what so ever.
They'll close your account. UK travel rules are based around the requirement for the exchange not to facilitate illicit activity. Send to a self hosted wallet and it's the law that has to do the leg work rather than forcing the exchange to do it for them.

Australian Pink Floyd 2023. Bloody fantastic even compared to the real Floyd I saw back in 94 and that was brilliant too.
Live 8 was memorable. Wish I'd taken some joints in with me. Won tickets and went with my father. Someone was smoking next to us and I said that I should have brought some. My dad grinned at me. 100% regretted my poor decision in that moment.
Favourite festival was the big chill! Although no longer on the go, current favourite- we out here.

Eden Festival in Dumfries, Scotland. Nice hippy / family friendly vibe during the day which turns to a mad party at night
Sadly didn't go..but the George Harrison tribute concert 'A Concert For George' was just such an amazing, beautiful and fitting send off.
Favourite concert was a Rhyme Syndicate gig circa 90/91. We were there to see Hijack (the the the the terrorist group) in Nottingham and ended up smoking weed with Donald D, Nat The Cat and a few others after. We then went to the Brixton gig the next night where Ice-T also performed with the rest of the Syndicate, got to meet Ice, Everlast, BSB, Afrika Islam etc etc. Dope weekend

I've been to lots of special glastonbury festivals but the first one was especially special because my friend Brian and I at 18yo hitchhiked it from Scotland in 1989. Pretty naive kids on an adventure. We got there late at night and pitched our tent. The next morning we woke up to a crusty looking bloke freaking out on something, shouting at god and stripping off right outside the tent. Very entertaining!
Not long after that we bought some acid from a dude in the crowd about 45 minutes before the wonder stuff came on. Awesome!
Another day our neighbours gave us acid but said the might not be any good so only pay me if they work.
A few hours later his misses watched us unable to get into our tent because we were in histerical laughter.
When the bloke next saw us we said that they didn't work.
The line up wasn't great but the is always something to see.
On the way home , in Birmingham, Brian's old neighbours just so happened to be driving by and spotted Brian. They were in a removal van with mattress in the back, moving back to scotland and had went into Birmingham to get booze and they had weed. We stopped in the lake district had a wee night there before driving home in the morning.
I could write a book but people wouldn't believe the festival adventures I've had. Fab times.

I spent many of my formative years going to Glastonbury and it truly helped shape my world view. There have been many other festivals since but none come close to its glory days!

I love anything that can let you drift off. At the moment I’m particularly enjoy vaguely wistful and euphoric ambient music….stuff like stars of the lid and winged victory for the sullen.
I also like a bit of laid back jazzy noodly stuff like do make say think and their album & yet & yet.
For me they’re great for the mind to wander off to another dimension.

Absolutely anything calming an relaxing when tripping. We spent an evening in the late 80' s listening to with or without you by U2, literally just that song. From memory we set the speakers up on the floor and took it in turns lying between them.
My favourite music for tripping would have to be anything pink Floyd and the Beatles but specifically the later stuff! Thank you

for the come up i always put on stumpwork by dry cleaning. there's something about that album. the track gary ashby really makes me giddy. For deep dives with shrooms it has to be music for psychedelic therapy by jon hopkins everytime. it really forces the doors in my brain to open up for surgery. With Lucy it's always an album called "imagine this is a high dimentional space of all possibilities" by james holden. it really drives the intensity while i'm cycling on L. best feeling ever. i really wish i could do that forever and ever.

With regards to non-hallucinogenic truffles though, the pig is too unwieldy, too intent on eating the truffles, and fucking massive. A dog is better, and more snuggly. Unfortunately the truffle dog is worth a significant amount, and often poisoned by rivals. A few years ago I ordered Alba white truffles, and I'm glad I did. Utterly amazing grated in excessive amounts over buttered tagliolini (The shroom equivalent of Cali packs: glad I tried it, not sure I can justify that expense regularly. Delicious with '90s Grand Cru Burgundies).

Many years ago in Amsterdam a friend and I went halves on what we thought were Philosopher's Stones Truffles expecting a 2-3 hour trip. However the guy selling them either mistakenly or purposely gave us the strongest on the menu (Fruit of the Gods I think?). We smashed the entire pack and were tripping balls for almost 12 hours. I don't care for the taste of truffles but I liked the effects. Similar to Shrooms mate.

Sunday 3pm: took 0.80g APEs. Just under a gram. Ground up and thrown in a glass of tymbark cactus juice which is always a good choice.
3:20pm: starting to feel it slightly. I was rally surprised how quick that was. Usually it’s around 45 mins until it kicks in.
3:30pm: Jesus fucking Christ I’m starting to feel it. It’s definitely a mix of the strength of the mushrooms, and general low tolerance, which I used to hate as a younger person, as an example, not being able to keep up with friends when It came to alcohol, I gave up drinking because I actually hated it, getting stoned as fuck after half a spliff and always pulling a whitey after one bong, weed really isn’t for me.
3:45: complete sedation. The room is “melting” as it’s usually put. My plants and dried flowers I have around my place are melting downwards where the leaves/flowers droop down, the doors are pulling downwards and my arms are starting to feel like they’re detaching from my body, I go grab my headphones and corn snacks and get fully ready for it. I open up the corn snacks, and every time I crunch on one I can visualise my whole skull and jaw and teeth moving as I’m eating. all the skin on my head feels detached and it’s as if it’s hovering a centimetre away from my skull and face. Time to put my headphones on. So I grab my MP3 player (old skool kool) and press play randomly. Never find a girl by Steve hiett start playing. I couldn’t stop laughing and being in awe at how amazingly clear and atmospheric it sounded. It took over my whole body. I grab my quilt and get back on the sofa which felt like such a huge effort due to feeling so sedated and drunk. My legs are slightly giving way.
4:00pm: starting to get the visual overlay of patterns. The only way to describe it is when you cut a garlic bulb in half but across and you see the pattern of all the bulbs inside the clove. Just that type of pattern all across my vision. I close my eyes and I see what feels like flickering lights and the smooshy geometric patterns swirling around like a warm lava lamp. with the last of my energy I changed the music and put on music for psychedelic therapy by Jon Hopkins. I curl up under the quilt and close my eyes. My whole body starts detatching itself from my joints. Arms feel separated from my shoulders, Hands separated from my wrists, feet separated from my ankles, legs separated from my hips. peaking hard after an hour.
My vision is all the patterns and shapes and landscapes that are quite hard to describe but the only way I can describe it is that it felt like I was having a full on DMT breakthrough. The music is sending me hard. The visuals are smashing my brain. I’m floating off the sofa. Nothing else exists except my visuals. My thoughts became almost like an orb like sphere and moved into the corner of the visual landscape. I could still think, but they would be encased inside this sphere. this is where it starts to get profound..
Through the melting colourful patterns and visual landscapes and white noise, a face started slowly pushing through. I have no idea who it is for a while but the face turns into a whole head and is moving around my visuals and looking around. As I start to gain clarity on the persons head, it turns out it’s my mother, and we start having a conversation about all types of things. As some historical context, I did find out when before I was born, she used to do a lot of mushrooms. My aunty told me that she always made a tea from them. Due to certain circumstances that I’d rather not go into full detail with, she ran away when I was 4 years old and I never saw her again. So back to the trip.. This is what stood out the most and I’m still thinking about it. Through the conversation she says “before you were born I was thinking about you. You were in my hallucinations for a long time until you became real”. This was the emotional part and just let the rest of the visuals and the crazy stuff just take over and so many thoughts as a child started coming through. Remembering the sad part of her vanishing and even before that. all the scenes that I forgot had started showing through from what my brain had filed away. As the album got towards the end, the crying started. a lot of things started to make so much sense now.
5:00pm: the album is finishing and I stay under the quilt for a while longer to digest everything. It was the most spiritual and profound trip I’ve had to date. So much so that I had to write about it. I’m still really surprised how hard it hit me in such a short time. i get up from under the quilt and the sedated feeling has completely gone. Still having wavy visuals and the feeling of seretonin flushing through my body. It’s a buzzing sensation. My body feels normal again. I feel reattached. My brain is chilling out. My skull is normal. I spend the rest of my trip calling my girlfriend and trying to describe everything that happened. My mental clarity is amazing.
8:00pm: fully back to normal again but still feeling that “afterglow”.
It’s Thursday now and this week has been very interesting with a lot of thoughts about what happened. i didn’t get any answers as people usually do mushrooms for, I wasn’t looking for anything, but I guess it came to find me instead. So I’m super happy I did it and I can’t wait until the next trip.

APEs are awesome. That sounds like an awesome trip for 0.8g! I remember making small-dose APE chocolate (0.5g in each serving) and mixed it with dried amanita, niacin, Lion's mane, and Cacao. I remember I went for a sauna on my lunch break and the boards on the bench were moving a little, with an overlay of wafer-thin rainbow over everything.
So far, APEs are my favourite strain!
Dr Shroom's GTs are potent, so I imagine his APEs are chest-beatingly strong!

I don’t see pictures when I’m thinking, but I do dream. Does everyone hear a voice in their head giving them their thoughts? I realise that sounds a little grippy sock but I mean more of an inner monologue.
Oh yeah, but isn't that just how thinking works? Potentially multiple strands of an indecisive mind all competing for the whole babbling conversation, until you beat them back to get one prominent thought to concentrate on? Probably why a lot of us smoke weed!
I have diagnosed Aphantasia, didn’t know any different until I had CBT with a psychologist and couldn’t actually do any of the exercises as they require an imagination to alter the memories. When I was microdosing around 200mg daily of Psilocybe semilanceata, I had like black and white low resolution visuals sporadically while falling asleep but that’s about it. When I have had psychedelic experience they have been geometric like patterns but no like internal imagery of anything resembling real life but have had interactions with discarnate entities that are fractal and geometric in nature. I know the question wasn’t asked to me but any Aphant won’t be able to recall faces with internal imagery but can tell you details about them, all my memories are just fact based, I don’t have an autobiographical memory but some Aphants do.

Again, I can't speak for everyone, but if I close my eyes and think about it now I can basically float around a cloudy 3D world of the places I've been. Old houses and regular haunts in particular. In fact, as I typed that, I had an almost 3D perception of the best pub I've ever been to as a brain image, no eye closing needed. That was a bit weird. Possibly focused on that more as you've asked this and personal experiences are (obviously) personal.

Same mate, I use THC to stop night terrors and really nefarious dreams that I struggle awakening from. Alcohol does the trick too but not good doing it every day
Yh mate that’s the problem, I only have a few puffs on a vape before bed most nights, I figure it’s much better than using medication for it or slipping back to alcohol. I was using a small pin head of RSO but that was causing some night time funkiness and even woke up high if I eat late haha

I thought I should briefly impart my experiences with Dr Shroom's Golden Teachers and hopefully light the way for anyone else experiencing stress and trauma that interferes with their everyday life (and who suffers from bi-polar disorder).
Bi-polar can be really aggravated by large doses of mushrooms (for me personally). Large doses don't sit right with me and are counter-productive. I've found 1g of Dr Shroom's GTs lemon tek'd and strained into a glass of Lucosade provide a really nice evening quiet time, with mental unravelling of troubling thoughts to relaxation, then a couple of days of super chill just riding my THC edibles. Work is great, stress levels are low, and I think a once a week experience could have serious benefits beyond a simple microdose. No mental chatter, and with morning microdosing of Amanita Muscaria, my energy levels seems to be equalising from a genetic condition. However, mood wise, I can really suggest a small (larger than microdose) dose of Golden Teachers. Very healing.

Not sure how old this post is mate but I’m going g to give them a go for microdosing the only thing with upping a dose for me is the anxiety would take away from it for me. I’d be super on edge having a bad time. Once had a bad salvia trip as a teen and it ducked me up for months, so much so at 33 having to much weed makes me flap and panic hahahaha

Just attempted the stamets stack for the first time today. I’ve microdosed for a couple of weeks when on holiday and found my sweet spot of 0.08g.
I took a break( as recommended for a couple of weeks) at this time I started taking lions mane.
So today I took the stack of niacin, mushies and lions mane. We’ll fuck me!!! I thought I was going to self combust. The niacin done some nasty shit to me. I was at work and had to hide in my office for 2 hrs whilst I stopped shaking like a shitting dug and looking like I’d been out in the sun for 2 months without sunscreen.
Has anyone else had these issues and does anyone have any advice on how to manage??

Had a micro dose this morning, along with a lions mane capsule and I’ve had a lovely day. ☺️ it may be that I’m over sensitive to the niacin, I did take it on an empty stomach which it doesn’t recommend, I think I’ll maybe steer clear in the future. Yeah I think regardless of dose size there's therapeutic benefits to be had. I've personally found microdosing great for day to day mood and larger doses for processing larger problems...or just having a great time hahah.
Also my will power to say no to other substances was practically none existent I worked on myself with the help of mushrooms. Now these things aren't an issue 🙏

You need the mentality to ride the volatility. The press love to deride btc when prices drop 10-20% but that’s just another normal day in the crypto-verse! The fact that forecasting asset based values are so often wrong, forecasting crypto is basically nuts. If I had to predict anything it’s this: the rich are going to do far better out of crypto than the man in the street....
Btc is becoming a ‘gold’ for crypto, they aren’t related in the same way as gold/silver but that’s its position now. Basically BTC is slowly becoming inefficient to spend with due to high fees in periods of volatility and as the price increases, so do the fees. I have no doubt Btc will hit 100k/coin in the next handful of years

Timing the market is hard. When btc was 36k I took 25% out expecting a pull back then again at 44k and it just hasn’t happened yet. Lots of people are expecting btc to hit 100k by the end of this year and eth 10k... if you’re holding long term go for it and don’t worry about the volatility.

hi all has anyobody experienced increased fees from tranaxe without fair explanation or conversation with them.
i did get favourable rates and release times but had a bad run for two months in the summer so they have now ut my rates up to considerably more than a new seller and my wait times for release too. the math doesnt add up. two bad months with a great track record before and since but they said i must complete what equates to around another 18 months wirth of sales without issue before they put me back on normal rates. its impossible to get a coherent conversation out of them too. i have been trying for months

2% partly because i had a wave of scammers that i was refunding then realised and stopped in early 2025 and then had some issues with post in july and wanted to give refunds but there was no option so i was told to just let the disputes time out by support. dispute ratio since august is 0%

It’s really hard to know (or confirm) with regards first class or second class mail as revenue & customs go on a sniffing spree with their dogs in a very very infrequent manner. One week customs will advertise and congratulate themselves on a huge weekly seizure of contraband worth millions but you won’t hear or see the sniffer dogs working in the distribution centres for weeks on end thereafter.
It’s very random policing so I don’t think it matters what kinda postage method is used. When they are on the hunt, it WILL get seized.

Really not sure, but we have contacted happy Borg clean up Borg it’s been nearly a week and we have had one response, saying what can I help with love, that was there response even though we have made it clear what the issue is we can’t be seen on the wall in keyword search, it’s like they don’t want to answer or give a reason to why we can’t be seen, but it’s like talking to a brick wall it seems so not much we can do at all. Shame as it seemed to be going well.

Really not sure, if we had infringed some rule we were not made aware we did and 6-7 messages to the borgs with no answer at all over 4-5 days is ridiculous, so not much we can do is there if there people that help run it won’t respond.

Hi MightyRux 👍yes ive had an email from my crypto exchange ( bittylicous) stating that more information will be required ie NI number. 🤨 from tomorrow 1/1/26. Which puts a doubt in my mind for future purchases on here. It obviously effects everybody on here. Theres no way round the issue. So as you mentioned. Today could be my last buy on here until I know what the outcome will be. Dont fancy getting stung by HMRC for tax and unwanted correspondence to my address. Little biggy. What is considered best practice now. I am pausing for a little while on using cb and my exodus wallet despite it looking like I having only ever acquired negative gains from my crypto activity (checked with Koinly and summ). Thanks
man i wrote a reply and accidentally delted it. in short you are buying crypto to buy a product or service or send to a thai hooker for her families cow or whatever. theres no trading loss or gain. you are just changing into a currency thats acceptable for wha you want to buy. suggested research is the differnce between self custody wallets and central exchanges as well as monero as a step in your process. as well as anon exchanges

Taxman will then sift through gargantuan amounts of data using AI to spot potential frauders and send them automatic letters asking them to come clean.
What pissed me off the most - last I read those rules - was that "disposing" of crypto i.e using crypto to purchase goods and services was deemed to be taxable (under CGT apparently).
That means that all those BTCs you've spent here might be taxable.
And my experience of going through this with my online selling platform side hustle is that they'll leverage AI to go after each and every potential person they can milk tax money out of.

I think you're right mate. If you go to the site and have a look at your profile then there's already enough information to match anyone provided to trade, irrespective of the provision of a NI Number, so I don't think it's really that much more info than they currently have to enable you to trade. We'll see what happens...
yeah i saw this coming with the travel rules when i wrote that guide and i dont think anything has changed other than the set up for it is now live. mechanics in that guide still remain. use self custody wallets as much as possible. never recieve or send crypto directly from an exchange. always use a hot wallet (self custody) as a hop. there are more steps to tighten things up that is a basic that will save a lot of hassle

Everything is traceable on the Blockchain dude. As a start, make sure your purchases go to a non-KYC wallet like Exodus or MetaMask, then we'll cross our fingers.

I ran my cb acc and exodus wallet through summ.com and koinly for tax reports and for the last 5 years all I have accumulated is negative gains, which should mean I don’t have to declare diddly, unless I want to declare the negative gains to offset against any future gains…but that all sounds like a headache to me, I am relatively confident I won’t see anything significant from the taxman given this. I would advise others tr the same services or something similar. Koinly was better in my opinion and if I wanted a detailed tax report had I been in positive gains then that is when they charge you it otherwise it was all free. This is all so gov can get even more tax off our already taxed money…..

I'd imagine as they're on the Isle Of Man they'll be as minimally compliant as they can be? Run your exchange acc and any self custody wallets you have sent to fro tha acc through something like Koinly. I discovered over past 5-6 years I have only ever been in negative gains so really shouldn’t have to worry. I only ever buy what I need in terms of crypto for an lb purchase at the time so never hold onto crypto for long, or at most no more than a couple of bucks

I'm really hoping this is something that 'traders' will be targeted for, not us. I bought a high amount just before this kicked in... I'd need advice about how to use other sites effectively, ideally.
2 of my crypto accounts were closed,1 was easy to do, not the best thing to notice at 12am sniffed up , apart maybe when I realised I 'd been arrested opened my eyes 👀 too female cops laughing their heads off , the next time I really realised was me sliding down the alarmed wall at the main custody desks and I could not believe where I was, zopiclone was the culprit.

Check out koinly or summ. It can work out tax owed for all activity over the years. Both are free until you want detailed reports for proper declarations etc. koinly was more straightforward. I have only negative gains for the time I have used crypto (5-6 years) so I think I’m in the clear of being stung by the taxman. I think buying large amounts of crypto and trying to hide that is a v risky strategy. I may try hodl option with a new wallet then I guess it wouldn’t be linked to me in anyway though the wallet buys will be traceable to an extent still unless there really is a wallet type that isn’t. May have to revert to Budmother or moonbarguy websites until the dust settles. I wonder how one can check where they stand with taxman. When might we hear something I wonder

If you’re on an iPhone when on the main items page, you can type in what you’re looking for in the website address bar, try to keep it limited to one word.
Type in the word of the item you’re looking for in the website address bar and instead of hitting the return button to search it on google, it will also say “on this page (3 matches)” click on that instead of googling the word and it will create a little word finder for the page. Use it all the time when I’m looking for certain strains! Works on every website.

I was using the function where you type into search bar and then ‘find on this page’ which was working superbly until a week or so ago when the site seemed to change. I like wedding cake or ice cream cake so try to search that and now it says none, even tho I know there is!

On chromium browsers Ctrl+F to “find on page”. On iPhone press the share button at bottom middle , scroll down and click Find on Page. Really useful to search through the items page for specific strains etc

u are best having your own external wallet and send BTC to lb from there .. I purchase on coinbase and send to my atomic wallet .. then send the coin to lb from there ( that way the exchange only ever see's u sending to yourself ) .. hope that might assist 😎
This is excellent advice. Get a non-KYC wallet like Exodus, and tell the exchange you're sending it to yourself. It'll cost a few more quid in fees to then send on, but you're putting a layer between the purchase/transfer at least.
its just to remove any sort of indetifier to yourself. for example i would use a non kyc exchange for the initial transaction via tor then have it sent to my wallet on tails OS which is very anonymous. this way nobody has a copy of my driving license or passport. theres no middleman force closing my account because of suspicious activity etc a la coinb ase. i just like to be fully in control of the process without any vulnerable information being stored on some dodgy server
Heard Wasabi is good paired with p2p like hodl hodl, it gives you more control and your not relying on an exchange.
As others have mentioned. I use blue wallet. Then I use the ramp network to buy and send bitcoin (will need ID to verify though). Ramp has been the cheapest way I've found. Revolut use ramp but you can also go to ramp themselves.
I may as well get universal credit to send directly to my exodus. Not proud. But true.

I send GBP from Revolut to coinbase rather than the BTC.
Given the exchange fees are cheaper on coinbase (they are sky high on Revolut btw) this method makes more sense, and Revolut do not scrutinise the transfer of fiat like they do crypto.
Made this mistake first time and had questions about transaxe wallet.
When I got it back, I did as above and have made probably 10 transactions this way with zero issues.
Recommend.

I had the same thing. I simply responded that I had sent the coins to escrow for exchange which was not a lie.
I figured I could not deal with a 10 day account restriction every time whilst revolut questioned who I was sending to.
If you look on your coinbase app you will actually find that your account has a sort code and account number that you can deposit fiat currency into. You can do this as normal on your banking app as though you were paying a bill. You need your unique payment reference number as well which starts with CB.
This way you get better fees and do not get anybody asking questions when you move your crypto.
If you buy usdc on coinbase it is free too and you get free trades which you can use to convert to btc to save you the cb crypto purchase fee.

Thank you for this information and advice. Can you use coinbase in the UK? As downloaded the app and completing the set up. Asks for country of residence and I'm choosing UK but it won't let me continue with the set up. Any ideas why ?

Sheesh was going to use Revolut if cb kept asking questions. Right now cb to own exodus is working for me.
revolut temporarily block my account every time but usually only for about an hour. then I can do the withdrawal. you should delete the disabled addresses from your account and use a new wallet address for withdrawing to (generate a new one from the official bitcoin wallet app) also though it costs more by withdrawing to your own wallet first, it's harder and less likely to be scrutinised than sending directly to a transaxe provided address.

just brace for the temporary block and you'll be fine. sending to your own btc wallet first will reduce scrutiny
This has just happened to me as well when trying to send to Exodus despite working fine previously. Can anyone confirm if this happens every time you try and send to an external wallet or is it just certain ones?
