Just diving in because it's a music thread and I'm crazy about music. That said I love all kinds from blues to classical, from jazz to opera, and of course hard rock, synth, pop, soul and everything else - apart from rap. The one music genre that does absolutely nothing for me. Bought the 12" of "The Message" by Grandmaster Flash when it was released and still have it. And that's pretty much where it started and then ended for me...apart from the Fugees doing "Killing Me Softly", but that's all about Lauryn Hill, which is another story.

Still quite odd buying online even though I've been doing it for some time. Told my brother about it and ordered a pack for him, when it actually turned up it blew his mind so much he's got brain damage now.

I spent the next few months lurking and reading and plucking up the courage to order. i then spent a while sorting out a source of crypto, then bottled it again for about a month. I finally went for it with an order from TGT with some hash. It arrived the next day. That was Nov 2020. I'm now on 100+ orders.
I've since got a mate signed up and soon my sister will be on LB.

Yeah since I wrote that post i've been much luckier and found some decent vendors, big shout out to; The Gentleman Dealers, Mad Dabber and Dr Greenthumb who all had decent service and stuff :D Also I tried Greencat and had a mixed experience, but now that you mention it The Spacemen were decent too ;)

I used to use Budmonkey too, seems crazy but I reckon it was like 2002/2003?! Scored some AK47 and decent hash. Such a novelty back then, remember using NoChex as payment too.
Remember around the same era another clear web site called Pepe' Page (?) got busted and was front page news in UK Tabloids?! I remember bricking it same would happen with Budmonkey and it wasn't long after when it went offline. Then I stumbled upon LB I had looked at it a while ago and could have sworn it was a scam it looked too good to be true! but though fuck it what’s the worse that can happen I seen green cat’s exodus cheese and as i had not seen any cheese for a long time and it was at a reasonable price I placed a order, 3-4 days passed and I was almost certain it was a scam but one Saturday morning it turned up! Can you please provide clarity on this. Registered users clicking on referral links have been generating since I joined the site, hence you have people like Caeba making lists as they know once a user registers here there’s a high chance of them finding the lists.
If the system worked as intended, and any of my referred users always stayed as my referrals and not going to the most recent link clicked, I would put some effort into producing QR codes and distributing them but I see no incentive (other than for admin that always get fees regardless) for me to bring users to the site only to be poached by other users.

Simply replace dumb offensive weapons with intelligent defensive ones.
Attackers can be disabled with sound, electrical impulse (a laser to the eyeball goes a long way), gas, anything but hot lead is relative progress.
A huge industry is waiting once this direction is set and it’s a rare example where a leader can set something so important in motion. A police force equipped with such weapons would not only save lives it would restore confidence, replacing fear with respect.
Like any old technology guns will inevitably become obsolete, outmaneuvered by weapons that save lives. Even in the worst case the result is a technological arms race, with one side committed to protection - an outcome far better than shoot outs and more deaths every day, most often at the hands of those intending to uphold a form of peace.

You are partially correct; Guns are not the problem…..the bullets are. It’s bullets that kill. Let the loons have/keep their guns. Just get rid of the ammo (not easy I know, but spring it on the population in a surprise move and watch the killings drop).

I bought a device on eBay that screws onto almost any bottle, turning it into a bong. When the bong water gets nasty just throw the bottle away and attach it to a new bottle. It's not completely DIY but it still has some merit nonetheless. Besides, nobody likes dealing with bong water and it's easier to hide when compared to a regular bong.

Cut the bottom off a 2 litre bottle of pop, stick it in a bucket of water, use a milk bottle foil cap to to make a cap and fill with weed. Light it and pull up. Make sure you press down as you inhale.

My special skill is that I can McGyver a bong out of almost anything.
Basically, as long as you have tin foil you can do anything. Make pipes: a few wraps, tight around a pencil, seal with scotchtape lengthways. Fan out the end before doing so. Tear a circle of tinfoil, and a pin ("anyone wearing a badge?"), open the back page of an unloved book, place the foil on the paper, and tap the pin up and down repeatedly and you have a perfectly serviceable gauze that you can poke in the end of your fanned pipe.
I prefer not to smoke out of anything plastic. Just seems like we know not to burn plastic in the outdoors, so keep that shit away from your lungs, right?
Fruit has always been a friend for the thrown together party bong. Watermelon is obviously beautifully carvable. Always thought a papaya, with its natural internal chamber and a couple of pipes would probably be viable. Poke holes into the fruit with a screwdriver or, if you don't have one, a pencil or pen.

Someone should get on to Carlsberg. Currently, Carlsberg don't make bongs but if they did, they'd probably be the best bongs in the world
Small Fanta bottle, they're already the right shape. Lighter to make holes on front and back in the right places for a rush/carb and a downpipe. Then use a bit of garden hose for downpipe with a bit off a socket set in the end to use as a cylinder cone. Then either a circle cutting from the metal gauze in a coffee percolator as a screen, or a piece of foil with some pin holes in, or just a small ball of foil. Schmoke it up in style, all for the price of a small bottle of Fanta. 💚💦

thanks for the response, i think its the fact that you cant tell when a vape is bad for you that freaks me out because it can still get you high while having all that shit in it rather than you being able to tell off the bat if its synthetic stuff like with normal weed, i might just bite the bullet and see if i can find a well regarded one as ive been meaning to get into vaping for a while now.

You need the mentality to ride the volatility. The press love to deride btc when prices drop 10-20% but that’s just another normal day in the crypto-verse! The fact that forecasting asset based values are so often wrong, forecasting crypto is basically nuts. If I had to predict anything it’s this: the rich are going to do far better out of crypto than the man in the street....
Btc is becoming a ‘gold’ for crypto, they aren’t related in the same way as gold/silver but that’s its position now. Basically BTC is slowly becoming inefficient to spend with due to high fees in periods of volatility and as the price increases, so do the fees. I have no doubt Btc will hit 100k/coin in the next handful of years

BitCoin is a terrible medium for buying items!! It is like Weimar Germany, prices increase over night due to currency fluctuations, 4% in the last twelve hours!
When I discovered LB back in January, I also discovered how to buy Bitcoins. At the time, I ended up buying £3 worth of Cardano. Why? Completely at random because the coins were very very low and I thought why not... I'd forgotten about those until today when I realised they had risen by 500% since. Wish I'd invested £3000 instead! Some say it could reach $10 within a few years.... It's currently on $1.13... Who knows if it's worth investing in!
Timing the market is hard. When btc was 36k I took 25% out expecting a pull back then again at 44k and it just hasn’t happened yet. Lots of people are expecting btc to hit 100k by the end of this year and eth 10k... if you’re holding long term go for it and don’t worry about the volatility.

it seems there is a never ending stream of new strains here and now people are saying that even using sativa/indica to classify bud is not valid. is there anything to go on besides trial and error?
Sativa/Indica may not be scientific but most people report a difference in the effects including me. Broadly speaking I find strong sativas give a cerebral energetic high (possibly with some nervous energy/anxiety) and indicas relax the body reducing focus on pain and discomfort (possibly inducing coach-lock and sleep).
Most strains are now hybrids giving a blend of those effects and it depends what you are looking to get as to your choice.
You should look at THC strength. Pot is getting stronger all the time and 16-18% is now becoming 28-30% before even getting on to concentrates. There is little point in hitting the strong stuff first- you are better of building up to it.
Many people chase flavours and rave about the ‘lip smacking ‘ qualities of a strain. Vaping at low temperatures is very good for flavour. Others go for aromas, others will only touch bud that looks good enough to have sex with ! 😳
The good news is that they are all right here right now! 🥳
You can go on to a site like leafly and put in exactly what you want from your weed and it will make suggestions- then come back here and chances are good you’ll find some.

Most strains are now hybrids giving a blend of those effects and it depends what you are looking to get as to your choice.
You should look at THC strength. Pot is getting stronger all the time and 16-18% is now becoming 28-30% before even getting on to concentrates. There is little point in hitting the strong stuff first- you are better of building up to it.
Many people chase flavours and rave about the ‘lip smacking ‘ qualities of a strain. Vaping at low temperatures is very good for flavour. Others go for aromas, others will only touch bud that looks good enough to have sex with ! 😳

You can go on to a site like leafly and put in exactly what you want from your weed and it will make suggestions- then come back here and chances are good you’ll find some.

Hi guys, just wondering if anyone has any idea of the source of the weed we buy from venders here? I ask as a good friend of mine who lets a house out has just had his house ruined by an Albanian crime ring that turned his house into a weed factory, they literally gutted the house ripped all the wiring out holes through the ceiling, there had been fires from the dodgy electrics they had run from a lamp post and they had a poor Albanian slave locked in there running it, who feared for his life if he tried to run. It really hit home and I would hate to be contributing to this sort of thing.
Yes, this issue is important to me. I don't want to potentially put money in the hands of violent gangs running shitty operations with human trafficking and modern slavery.
The best thing about LB for me is being able to buy DIRECT from legit, knowledgeable growers who care about what they are doing and are selling their own produce.

Thanks for your openness, I get the feeling most venders on here are genuine like yourself, but there is a dark side to this industry that are also in the business of people trafficking and slavery and there products should not reach the LB community.
Noble enough sentiment, but you do then start to ask about the potential human cost that put your shirt on your back and the potential inhumanity that put that sausage on your plate.
I get it that suffering in the drug chain is a big part of the ‘Just Say No’ argument but it’s hardly unique in mass consumerism. I guess growing your own is the way to go (and making your own clothes, going vegan etc)...just don’t have time.

I tried to order a $10 joint, just to try that strain I usually buy more.
I have $36 in my BTC wallet and it tells me that I don't have enough to cover network fees!! Are network fees for that transaction really more than €26?
I've tried slow, fast the lot, apparently $26 isn't enough.
I can't justify that, I had to cancel the order as I've had to do with several other orders as I never seen to have enough to cover the extortionate network fees.
Bloody frustrating.

Dude it's no fun, I've just found out that opera browser on Android has a built-in crypto wallet.
I'm unsure about BTC purchase charges through it but the network fee seems lower.
I've also been advised to order at non peak times as network fees are lower then.

youve done what you can bigga, which is changing the fee. maybe your wallet provider has a minimum transaction setting?
Not sure why Coinbase fees are lower than a lot of others but it only cost me £1.27 to send a vendor some BTC yesterday

I disagree strongly with the war comparison - that's not an example of a mutual effort, but the opposite: it's an example of large scale confrontation. People were called up to defend/attack from other people. MILLIONS of people died over YEARS.
This is a public health crisis, not a war. And the young haven't been called up, keyworkers, carers and health staff have. When I've been out and about with my family, it's fairly clear that the younger generations are the least bothered by what's going on, and aren't necessarily abiding by the guidelines to any effective degree.
And sadly, I don't think this is even something defined by the self interest of the ruling class. I think it's exposed the current ruling class is about as clueless as it ever had been. Johnson's flabby ensemble of random wankers have never at any point been good leaders. They got there off the back of a dishonest, divisionary Brexit campaign based on some entirely different agenda. They now have absolutely no idea what they're doing.
Hopefully it will serve as a reminder to humanity that if a democracy is to succeed, you can only back honest, able and skilled statesmen. Anyone less means we're fucked if there's any deviation from their intended narrative.

We need more youngsters in politics and less old farts creaming off the state. I think you reach an age when you start to become more selfish and want to accrue wealth. Bills and mortgages start to wear you down. I was definitely more idealistic when younger. I'm not old (38) and I very nearly got axed by COVID. I don't have a pre existing condition. It's worth considering that many young or younger people with pre-existing conditions are at high risk, as are the disabled and many mentally ill people. The structures of society also make sure that the poor are disproportionatily affected. So, what you're proposing, hypothetical or not, is a cull on the people in society who most need our support. And, I would add, people who add a huge amount of value to our societies. I am as annoyed by how our 'era' turned out as anyone, but putting boomers to death for the greater good? C'mon. Besides, the ruling class are not all old - they have children, who will inherit. Killing old (rich) people would do nothing for society. Advocating that other (poor) people's parents and grandparents have had their time is basically inhuman, or at least profoundly lacking in empathy.

There are elements that are particularly cruel for young generations that have been caused by the benefits enjoyed by older generations. Retirement / pension age is the first to mind. We all retire later if at all because they fucked the pension pot for those claiming now. Housing and land are impossible to buy at reasonable prices, because the older generation owns it all. Wealth disparity grows with extended lifespans, as the elderly hold onto it instead of spending it. But these issues are not the fault of those older generations, but the governments modus operandi of dealing the better cards in the deck to those who can vote at the time and have money. Who cares about the generations that can't support government agendas right now? No one is the answer, and it has resulted in a shit deal for the young that will only get worse as time goes on.

as a 51yr old father of 11yr old twins (one boy, one girl), and reflecting on how I have myself matured (lack of!) I can honestly offer an opinion that humans may be physically capable of sexual reproduction early mid/teens, but that doesn't make them adults. Likewise 20s and even early 30s. I was a selfish prat right up to having kids. Having kids completely changes your priorities and outlook, including CONFIRMING that kids are, literally, the future. So you're right about preserving the future for younger generations. BUT if adults don't become adults (really!) until they have kids, and human kids can't look after themselves, and anyway don't mature mentally til they have kids, we come full circle, that is why you need 2 generations minimum at the same time. HTH!
I'm 27 with baby number 2 due next month. My life didn't feel lil it had much meaning before becoming a dad, I cared a lot less about everything. As for Corona it's really not a big risk to a vast majority of the population. Most of the people dying are 80+. When the people who are 80+ were born their life expectancy was like 67. They've done well. I think all lives are equal but not all deaths are tragic.

Yes, l read about the sister you lost to cancer. I truly am sorry for your loss. I've watched my mother lose a kidney to cancer and my father had prostate cancer and l've lost count of the number of cancerous tumors he's had removed from his face. I have to take him to his doctor March 1st to have another one removed. I can't prove it but l believe one or more of the pharmaceutical companies have come up with a cure for some, if not all forms of cancer. As they say, there's no profit to be made with a cure. I hate to be that cynical, but they haven't given me a reason to think otherwise, judging by their previous behavior.

When one of them said they created a cure for hepatitis c, my jaw hit the floor. It's the first time anything has been cured since those early days, as far as l can remember it happening. Today is a different story. We're definitely farts coming from the same ass. I've been dealing with mental disorder(s) for the past 11 years. The most entertaining one has to be bipolar. I never add the word depression because it's only half of what makes bipolar such a joy to deal with. The manic part is just as bad, if not worse than the depression. I stop sleeping and eating for days at a time which isn't best part. That goes to the aggression part hands down. I become an atomic bomb just waiting for someone to try and defuse me. The Feds don't think l play well with others so they declared me permanently disabled. I realized something was wrong and it came to a head when l was awake for 19 days for absolutely no obvious reason, so l sought help. We're definitely farts coming from the same ass. I've been dealing with mental disorder(s) for the past 11 years. The most entertaining one has to be bipolar. I never add the word depression because it's only half of what makes bipolar such a joy to deal with. The manic part is just as bad, if not worse than the depression. I stop sleeping and eating for days at a time which isn't best part. That goes to the aggression part hands down. I become an atomic bomb just waiting for someone to try and defuse me. They set me off every time.
Throw on top of that generalized anxiety disorder, social anxiety disorder, and OCD and it makes for fun times for all. The Feds don't think l play well with others so they declared me permanently disabled. They definitely don't think l should own any type of firearms, although l do have an arsenal that's the envy of most third world countries. They should really worry about someone who has the same disorders, yet refuses to believe it and doesn't try to get help, like the dude from Florida who killed all those people in that nightclub. I realized something was wrong and it came to a head when l was awake for 19 days for absolutely no obvious reason, so l sought help. I don't have a criminal record as well, or any history of violence in my past, yet they think l'm the dangerous one. They're right in one aspect. I never leave my home when l'm in manic mode. Wow, yes, we've got a lot in common! I've been under the care of psychiatrists for longer than I care to figure out. I don't get manic states nearly as bad as you, depression, OCD, ADD, anxiety, and a sprinkling of psychosis. I mostly just see, and hear things that others don't. So this weekend I had a buddy come around to watch a few films and light up some good bud that I've bought from here.
Now, my friend isn't exactly new to weed, he's had a fair bit aswel as some harder drugs so didn't really even think of mentioning anything about potency.
It was his first go on the Dynavap aswel, so I get the stash out and I'd made a mega shit mix with all the strains I'd bought off the site along with a bit of hash mixed in for good measure, I go first and I'm thinking fuck this is heavy, like holy shit this is FUCKING HEAVVVYY, I burst out laughing and Im nearly fucking falling over lol but it's great and I can manage it, there's no such thing as too high is there lol. I remember saying to him it'll take about 10 mins too kick in but you'll be alright.

Not in the fucking slightest.
He started off alright and we were both laughing at the usual fuckery, then it became obvious he was absolutely tripping his nuts off, his skin goes white as Casper the fucked up ghost and he just gets worse and worse.
I'm now grounded and freaked out by his reaction, jeez it killed my buzz hard, I've never had a whitey so don't really get what happens, I assumed it was blood sugar/pressure crashing so offered him a drink but he's like not even in the room anymore, he can't look at anything other than the bottom of a bucket, so he goes to bed in the spare room and doesn't wake up for 15 hours. He's literally come around too go to sleep.
Next day he's back in the world of the living and says "fuck ever having that mix again" lol next time I think I'll start him out on something a little less mind altering lol

Yo shed, yeah man I've never had one but it looked scary as fuck haha. I keep them in jars, sealed with foil before the lid goes on, store it in a dark fully carbon lined stash bag with a few silica sachets underneath it all, keep it in the least moisture retaining room and keeps very well I've found!

Do people rate the purchases after they have tried them. Luckily have had some great orders from, the green team, next day weed and Pope of Dope. Others seem to look very good, but when you unwrap and roll are pretty meh. Just wondering if it's the excitement of actually not being ripped off and receiving something that may be swaying certain average scores. Maybe just me, but when everything seems to be a 9+ makes it hard to move away from what you know.

I’ve been saying this for weeks, the system is just flawed imo, I’ve had amazing stealth, great coms, fast shipping etc but the product was meh... how do you rate that, me personally I rested low as imo the other things I mentioned are their job and I expect them to be good at it if I’m honest, the community doesn’t seem to think that, I’d like the rating to be for what you got... but really the system needs to have 2 sections, one for the above and one for the product you received.
Yeah the rating should be just the product but even then people have different tolerances so what might be a ten to someone could be a 6 to someone else so ratings are irrelevant because of that
As far as judging the quality of a product rating are quite useless. They serve some purposes but for the most part people are just happy not to be robbed. I just look out for the reviews from people I trust, but that isn't ideal either. Sadly what you have figured out is probably the best way to operate here, just stick to what you know to avoid disappointment.

So. My package doesn't turn up but the escrow expires before the 14 days that the vendor requires me to wait for it?
Is the vendor making me wait so that my escrow expires and I can't claim the money back anyway?....

A vendor will still have funds in their escrow from other orders. I believe even if your order has been released you can still file a dispute.
Some vendors ask for 2 weeks as on occasion packages have turned up after that time period. Message me the name of the vendor and I can give you more info.

Hey shed, escrow is fundamental in the LB universe, asides from the decency of vendors, its literally the only thing stopping us all getting robbed! I happened across a post from a well known, appreciated vendor/user who only recently made a transaction without escrow, from a reputed source, only to be stung for the lot! Even as I write this, I wonder if LB could even work without it, trust can only go so far.....

Had a no-show delivery - first one - first time I actually looked at the escrow expiry on my order.
Have now been asked to wait well past the point of the escrow expiry before vendor can do anything.
So, with no valid escrow, I am now down to trust alone anyway far as I can see.
If my escrow expires and the vendor then tries to rob me, far as I can see I'm done and it's my fault. Case closed. I shouldn't have let the escrow expire without raising it with escrow service.
I'm not suggesting that this vendor would do, or is attempting to do that as it seems to be a standard procedure for all vendors but...

Im all good buddy, just sittin here, smokin some bud! Mmmn, certainly is food for thought. I'd be intrigued as to how this process pans out, when will you be requesting the refund, and how long "should" you have to wait for it? I think sidetracked is right with how you can dispute after expiry (fingers crossed for you aswell!) If you find yourself at a dead end, there will always be someone in the community who can assist!

I'm not the type to hassle a vendor, I have asked the question, they say 14 days, when that's up I will go knock on their door again and let them lead the way I guess (not bothered about a refund, rather a reship but at 50% or something it wasn't even a big pack anyway, so we're talking a couple of days smoke at best lol)...far as I can see that's all I can do anyway. Already decided I don't have the effort to get vex about it.
It's a buyers market here so it's up them how they resolve it really. Good service will always get the regular pounds so...

I did. If I get it back, it will take awhile. If/when I get it, I will consider it a bonus. Anytime I try a newbie, I expect to lose my money-that way, if I lose it, I don't feel bad and I have no anxiety trying to recover it.

California Weed Company has with very large sizes and tracked orders. If you have a good rep and you're not totally marked by customs this is the way to go.
