I had another movie in mind when I clicked on this topic, but you nailed it. The greatest stoner movie ever, The Big Lebowski.

There's always Reefer Madness. It's pretty damn funny, especially since it was released in 1936. Right up there with masturbation causing blindness and hairy palms. If that was true l would be wearing dark glasses, holding a tin cup begging for enough money to buy a new razor.

Have to say "Up in Smoke" by Cheech and Chong. Stacey Keach at his best and the whole idea of getting EVERYONE at a concert stoned at once!

Richard Linklaters two rotoscoped classics, "Waking Life" and "A Scanner Darkly" are great to watch when you're baked.
A Scanner Darkly is a great pic. I only learned recently that Phillip K Dick wrote this (along with the book Bladerunner is based on - 'Do Androids Dream of Electric Sheep' and also 'Minority Report' to name but a few. He is the Don of sci-fi.
Some of his early stuff that hasn’t been made into a movie or a tv show is amazing. Think he found god around the early 70s (the acid and weed was good back in the day) and his later stuff is very spiritual. He is the Don !
I recommend Abre Los Ojos (Open Your Eyes) which was inspired by Ubik and remade as Vanilla Sky.

Inception is incredible when high, most Nolan movies are due to the picture quality on his movies (and the topics). But I love watching Inception stoned, recently watched Tenet and have watched it another few times high and it blew my mind.

Whilst it's dated now, when The Matrix came out in 1999 it was like nothing we'd seen before. I went to see it in the theatre sooper high and it was a wild ride never to be forgotten.
Matrix. Not my sort of film normally. But one quiet night in the house, slowly and steadily getting stoned and it all made sense, until the next day.
Pineapple Express is funny as hell when smoking your favorite kush or haze or hash. This whole movie revolves around smoking weed.

I can't even begin to imagine a home stuffed with money. I've seen alittle over two million at one time and l thought this was the end all be all. Of course, l was young, stupid and easily impressed back then. Using that as a reference point, that home would contain at least a billion.
I would go with Cheech and Chong's next movie. Laughed my ass off the first time l saw it. I think it's the best of the first three CnC movies although l would love to know what kind of smoking device Sgt. Stadanko is using in Nice Dreams.

My postman is obviously a stoner, just the way he carries the back all slung back on his shoulder gives it away but he also looks like Wayne (or Garth I can't remember which one is which). Fake weed forum....... bring back the old suppliers. Suppliers these days are all crooks.... firstly they get bulk of weed then put it in a tumbler and shake it to take the crystals off the bud so they can make there pillen and dope then the weed gets sprayed with terps to give the buds a flavour again. This is why the dope is dearer than the weed... absolute scams going on here. People need to wake up and start refusing this poison on here these days. There is a handful of sellers that are legit but 95% on here is selling fake thc grass... all its doing is making people sick

you're right. It took me a while to figure that out and I try to participate way more than I did my first year

Reputation can be divided into two sections really, one for the buyers and one for the sellers. The buyers usually gain ‘reputation’ from joining in on topics on the ‘topics’ board, as well as posting their own topics on a regular basis if wanted and whether they’ve had disputes or not and can be trusted and respected by certain vendors due to the amount of purchases they have made, whilst sellers are pretty much the same, however reputation is held up depending upon how well they deliver their product in terms of packaging and whether it’s the same product as they described. As opposed to our 2 party system where we are forced to choose between the 'lesser of two evils'!

What can I do to preserve my grandmother before she dies?
My grandmother has cancer and even if she makes it she doesn't have more than 5 years to live realistaclly. I believe that some kind of immortality or radical life extension is coming but she isn't going to be able to participate so I wonder if there is something I can do to give myself a little hope if nothing else.
My gran died a couple of years ago and one of the biggest regrets I have is that I didn't talk with her about her life. My advice is spend as much time with her as possible, talk to her, learn about her (write things down if you need to) - and then keep her in your memories. Pass on your knowledge of her to the next generation. That is basically as close to immortality most of us get.
Exactly this! My gran died in 2014, one year shy of 100. She had seen a lot in her life, being born during World War One. I cherish the chats that we had. As I get older, I realise how privileged I was to have known her. Not only because of who she was but because she was born in another era and her stories and memories were real life history from a very different world to our own.

I might be too old fashioned, but since you're talking about your grandma, that might not be a bad thing. Have you asked her how she feels about death? She might not want to be frozen, or otherwise kept from death. I've had to deal with death way too much recently. It's horrible, and my heart goes out to you. But sometimes dying people see loved ones who are already dead. Real, or imagined, I won't know for sure until I take that last trip. I've started to feel very selfish for keeping my sister on life support as long as I did. Personally, I really believe that death is just a transition. Regardless, I think spending as much time with her as you can, and even recording conversations with her would be a good thing. Whatever you choose, I wish you both well.

Does she want to be preserved? This can be a really big deal for her legacy and may freak out her family, it takes some fortitude to get past that.
this. I have a very hard time even talking with people about this basically they think it's a conceit to even consider it.

i get what all of you are saying but it's important to remember society is more than government/media/corporotracy. the freedom of america has always been how people treat each other and especially don't judge each other. america is still the most diverse society and people are supportive of you doing whatever you want to. try that in your old country or your parents old country etc. it's always a place that has felt less free than the the us.

The non Pot smokers do any way. Actually we here in England, last time I saw the stats, Drink more on holiday than the Americans Germans French and a few other places you might think would would Rival us. An no Im not proud of it the English drink way too much.
There are certainly a lot of people with ms and cancer who could be helped or saved if it was legal, but I wouldn't say its hard to get weed here. Iv lived all over England and Iv never gone longer than a month at the very most before finding a new source.

My sister is one of them(ms). She wants to move to a state where m.m. is legal. She lives in Texas where 75% of the population who were polled would vote to legalize it if it was put to an official vote, yet it never is. I also have a nephew with mental disorders who would benefit as well. It may be hard to believe, but as wonderful as l am, l also have some as well, including bi-polar disorder. I take 5 different meds, although l used to take 7. What changed? I found this website. The weed where l live is more suitable for soaking up motor oil on my driveway.
