How do you choose what weed you're going to buy?
I'm wondering how people select what it is they're going to buy?
Is it by recommendations, reviews, habit, loyalty, keywords? I have had cheaper stuff nicer than dearer stuff. I've even had 10/10 stuff where people moan on the reviews which seemed odd. I get it's subjective but it's so difficult to truly know whats the nicest weed on here without obviosuly comparing everything. I'm wondering why people choose what they do when making an order?

Itβs multiple thing for me but thereβs selection of sellers I like and then, if it looks good βοΈ Iβd it has good reviews βοΈ and then the cost for me. But generally itβs ok but you find the good guys eventually. GreenCat, Thehashcollective, Franz, shroomoftheloom, thespacemen. Canβt go wrong with em. And Iβve had a few gems checking the topics page.
I just like trying new things. Just use vendors that haven't let me down, and try new stuff if any gets added!
Take a look at recommendations on the topics etc. Other than that just try small and if you like it then buy bulk, if you don't bin it.
Hands down, the best I have found is linked below. Go with the exotics. I never found better-looking, smelling, or tasting flowers. Perfectly cured terpenes are on point. The effects are 10/10. They last twice as long as items bought from other vendors for cheaper, thus making it worth the money hard to go back to cheaper when you smoke the real good.

This site isn't all it seems, when I first found little biggy and would scroll down the items list, my eyes would glitter green at the amazement of what is on the menu. But it's just not the reality....
My first order was underwhelming weed but I was happy it arrived and wasn't rubbish but it wasn't all that. Part of my second didn't arrive, my messages ignored and I had to dispute it relentlessly messaging to get a replacement as I was told it was my address. My third order wasn't sent out next day delivery despite paying for it. Then I recieved an oz of something gross and another item nothing like the photos. I've given the benefit of the doubt, reviewed fairly but honestly. That's $2100 spent on what I ask?
I made a large order over a week ago and it still hasn't been paid. I tried making one final order days ago with an extortionate bitcoin fee to jump the queue and that's still left unpaid. It's pretty much impossible to buy in here right now. I called my old street dealer as it's more reliable. I'm totally off Littlebiggy now, I have atleast $1600 in BTC just lost somewhere. Transaxe only reply vague ambiguous answers or ask for more info and it comes to a head. No reassurance. Sorry to rant but I have no idea based on my experiences how this site is even going. Atleast with the streets you have some level of control over getting what you buy and you don't feel robbed. If my dealer went off with that much of my money for a week, there would be a serious problem but on here it's totally okay? I think I'll research some alternatives or stick to a limited street selection as this is ridiculous

Ordering large amounts from vendors you haven't used before is your mistake, not theirs.
You speak like your experience is the only one, when I've had nothing but good things using this place.

Yeah I think I'm just annoyed π wow that's alot to loose, I have had some nice weed too from LB and it's been lovely but its mainly the bitcoin/ transaxe that's bothering me as I can't get anything paid for. Is this typical or just a blip in the system? I think I'm just upset because I thought this site was the best thing since sliced bread and now I'm like, where the hell is my money?
Do you mind sharing what app you use to buy/send the coin? Other biggas on here might have a similar set up and be able to offer advice.
I usually buy on Coinbase/Bitpanda and send to Exodus to buy on LB. Given the congestion and spike in network fees I have made my past two buys directly from coinbase. The average cost has been Β£9 to transfer directly to LB and those transfers have usually gone through inside of 15 minutes.

Blazin_Esx yeah I noticed people had been having the same issues on the forum. I go from Stirling in revolute to bitcoin then send to atomic wallet to make the payment. My regular bank doesn't let me buy btc straight into atomic wallet so it costs a small fortune, hence the bulky size orders I made, but the orders have been unpaid for nearly 8 days. Cheers

It's different items from different vendors in each order, I had tried the vendor before not the weed.
If the site is the provider of the vendors and there is bad vendors on the site, then in turn it must be a partly bad site for some of us. Sorry if that offends people, I'm not here to argue if its my fault or not but if they wasn't given 10 stars for shit weed or hailed as a top revirwed vendor when they're clearly not then the advertising of the vendor is wrong. Like I said, I gave the benefit of the doubt and still made a large order from here but the bitcoin issues are impossible and no-one seems to know anything about it. I'm glad you've had such great experiences on here, I'm just stating my experience (no sarcasim) I'd say I'd only buy samples of everything first instead of trusting what I'm reading but I can't pay for anything. The platform is not responsible for the quality of vendors, the same way Asda isn't responsible for the quality of Kellogs cornflakes. You have some very odd opinions and I'm going to leave it at that.

Sounds like your issue falls on Bitcoin rather than this specific website. If you used any other website with BTC the outcome would have been the same. At least your money is protected so in the end you're not going to lose out

How do people control their usage with an increasing tolerance? I feel like I get through a lot more weed than other people. My minds constantly on the go but my tolerance is high. I smoke around a gram + per roll and make edibles for bed to sleep better but my tolerance is high and so is my usage. Any tips would be appreciated π
If the usage isnβt affecting you or your life or your surrounding factors negatively - then youβre okay.
Asking questions like this is the big first step to reducing your intake.
Try finding more things to do throughout the day - personally I find myself smoking several grams a day if I have nothing on. Even a nice long stroll with just one joint, will end up saving you a bit of weed in that period whilst also exercising.
Boredom is usually a key factor, but I donβt know you to say this for certain.
Even an hour at the gym, or going for a meal somewhere etc, roll smaller joints maybe

I sympathise with your problem, I used to feel exactly the same. At the time I grew my own so always had loads as I didn't sell it. In fact I used to give it to friends. It was when I realised I was chasing the buzz from the first J of the day. I was nearly always constantly rolling. I was still wrecked and couldn't get any more stoned but that didn't stop me trying. Eventually I just realised I'd just got into a bad habit and was not actually getting any higher with each one but just staying the same. Try restricting yourself to one every few hours, you're likely to find each one then gives you that initial feeling which is so rewarding. Nowadays I only smoke 1 or 2 an evening as I'm at work until late and the first one is always the best, you feel the full effects both in the head and body. I'm 55 in 10 days, been smoking daily since 19 and I'm still loving it. I hope this helps.

Thanks for the responses and Lee5 sorry to hear about the bank issue. Baked, I think I'm at a paradox of, is it having negative affects on life? VS is life negative and weed has a positive effect? I could probably put the money to better use than trying to slow down my mind but I really do love good weed, it's a pleasure and a medicine I suppose. I will take some of the advice on board as I don't want it to become a negative thing and I seem to over indulge when I really like a certain type which I guess increases the medical tolerance and means having even more lol
Hi, have you thought about switching to a dry herb vape, you will probably use less bud and feel better and you could try using shake. You also have the added bonus that you can save your ABV for your ediblesπ

After studying mathematics, science, graphs, and data for many decades I've come to the conclusion over the last 18+ months that it's mostly made up, almost all entirety speculation, and the only thing to be relied on is that if I buy a large amount for my wallet it'll invariably drop in value while it's held (no matter how long for between needing to buy again), and if I spend that chunk it'll almost instantly rise in value, as happened when I bought on Sunday.
Oh, I am out of touch with cryto and fell for the article hook line lol π I have noticed you same patterns with my bitcoin but only use it for this, although I really dislike it

Ah I love Zoap, such a nice one. This is the forest but the Blackwater and forest look pretty much the same with the purple and crystals. The banana bread tasted good but wasn't as nice looking

I have to say if anyone is looking for a top vendor with great smoke and a top service, try The Spacemen! I had a string of problems on here a while back but this seller doesn't fail. I admit I'm fussy with weed but for the price, compared to some others I've tried, it's top smoke for the money. I haven't had a bad batch yet, no dust or nasty tasting stuff. I really rate this seller so thought I'd put it out there. They also offer mushrooms which I've been using medicinally in small amounts, very safe & effect stuff. Can't recommend their service and products enough. If you haven't tried this vendor they're worth trying as they look after their customers which is a breath of fresh air π

Iβm buying btc from an Atm down at the local mall. Just scan the qr code from my wallet and feed bills in the machine until i reach my desired amount of btc. Can pay with card but old money seems more discreet. There is a 5% fee and the dreaded network fee. The btc appear in my wallet minutes after and is completed in 30 minutes to 1 hour. Last week when everybody was loosing their marbles iβve payed almost 9$ in netwok fees for a 120$ order. Next time i will scan the qr code from the order payment page. If it works, then the circle will be closed. Don't know why it didnβt cross my mind earlier.

Hi TA. Echoing Lainey's response - I regularly buy ounces from TGD - up to Β£340 in price but they often have relatively cheap ounces too (Β£180ish, sometimes cheaper, and I really recommend their high % indicas). Their recent 'Gelato Cake' (on the pricier side) was divine π€€ but everything I've had has been excellent quality, regardless of price. Let us know how you get on! Cheers π

Can recommend THCs Rhinestone OG x Single Malt. A really unique smoke in taste and flavour.
It is mate, really smooth. As I said in my review, you need to try it for yourself. It's hard to describe lol. There's a nice creamy flavour off it with something else.
I'll definitely take a look for my next order, I don't mind paying 360 if its lovely. Great thank you

Hi, I'm fairly new and I have had to open a dispute for an order not arriving. I'm not getting very good communication from the vendor and he's told me I gave the wrong address. It was part of an order from 4 vendors, the other 3 arrived fine so it can't be an address issue on my part. I have been sent some details from the Borg about reputation but as I understand it, as I'm new my reputation is low and therefore less valid? I hate complaining and chasing stuff but as a newbie, not getting my package and being told my address is wrong is quite worrying. Can anyone can help shine some light?

Good evening, bad communication is common place on here. I don't think you will get what you ordered! There isn't any rules for vendors on here! I am too waiting for a delivery which was sent 10 days ago. My friend ordered on the same day and has received but I am yet to. The vendor is fobbing me off, they must think I'm some young person who ain't got a clue. I am so angry and in lots of pain because I use for medicine. I raised a dispute and messaged the vendor but radio silence. I will name them soon though! It only takes one bad review to stop them!

Can't we laugh and still have some morals? Fascism, mass genocide and cancer jokes are not my cup of tea but I appreciate your narrative / expression. I still think an evaluation would be a better way to deal with issues though but jokes may help I suppose π

So, solid dense buds arent the only sign it's PGR weed then, PGR will have the solid buds but also has the complete lack of terps and often a tint of orangy brownness due to the pistils still being around, never had anything like that from TSM & I defy anybody to spend a second with the MotorBreath, Grape Juice or that wild Cherry Zoap and tell me that it's bland, flavourless or odourless bud.
Having said all that I do like to think i'm careful about what I buy and where because I work on a tight budget so do my research, I really do trust what I'm smoking and wouldn't recommend anything I wouldn't smoke myself but please, feel free to fill in the gaps in my knowledge on this, i'd hate to think i'm misleading anyone and just the chance to learn from a highly educated polymath like yourself would be a real treat, i'm sure we'd all benefit from knowing more about PGRS mate and you can really do some good work for the community by sharing your obvious knowledge.

There is no way this deserves a 6/10
The bud is very nice Very dense but also with a bit of bounce.
Nothing suspect or twiggy about it.
As I m writing , I have just finished a lovely 1.5g joint.
Finely ground with a 10mm glass tip (just the way I like it.)
And it was delicious from beginning to end. Very smooth all the way through. Consistent clean white ash. And the biggest oil ring I've had of anything in a while.
Flavours were definitely cakey and earthy
And effects wise It's pretty potent whilst leaving you able to focus You can really feel it behind the eyes, And also has a nice sedative Pain relieving Quality.
SOTL Packaging And stealth were second to none and tracking number was provided very promptly
So it's Definitely a 10/10 From me I would definitely recommend.
The bud, the service and communication is flawless.

My understanding of what PGR is PGR = Plant Growth Regulator which growers use to increase yields on crops which makes the buds more dense.
PGR weed looks good but most of the time it doesn't burn properly and lacks smell/strength.
Now itβs a common misconception that ALL weed thatβs dense and doesn't smell/taste good has PGR.
This could be many factors from Grower experience to strain Genetics.
Now you could have some bud that looks really good smells good but has a muted taste this doesnβt mean itβs been fed with PGR sometimes thereβs other factors to take into consideration.
When a Pheno is saved to make a mother plant it is selected for its characteristics - smell appearance flavour yeild.
This means itβs been selected for all of those reasons or maybe even 1 of those reasons meaning a grower might select a pheno just because it yields more or looks better than the others. So basically the grower might compensate flavour/smell to get a bigger/better looking crop. That doesn't mean itβs PGR it just means the grower selected the pheno for a bigger yield/better looking bud.
So to make things simpler for people that donβt understand the basics. For example you buy 10 seeds you grow them all check which ones the best and you turn it into a mother plant. Then you take cuttings from that mother for your future grows. At this point a plant could have been selected for its yield potential or looks not flavour/smell so it will NATURALLY come out looking better than it tastes.
A lot of import has come under scrutiny of PGR because of the density of the buds. Now from my experience there is a lot of PGR riddled bud coming from abroad but
not always the case.
Some people are getting confused with dense looking buds calling it PGR when itβs not.
A lot of bud from abroad is overly vacuum sealed many times which makes the bud seem more dense and sometimes it kills the terpenes so its flavour is muted.
It can make the bud look unnaturall and deformed due to vacuum sealing for long periods of time which compresses the buds.
The take from this is basically all bud that looks dense is NOT PGR! Thereβs many factors that go into deciding whether itβs PGR or not I have explained in the post.
So please this one goes to the PGR police lol donβt make accusations on the vendors buds just from a picture until youβve seen the product in person you can make a fair judgement.
If bud looks decent but is overly dense stiff no smell and burns bad yes it MIGHT be PGR.
But just because a bud has a muted flavour doesnβt mean itβs PGR it could simply be the pheno was chosen to have a bigger yield/looks and taste wasnβt a priority.

There is a vast demand in N.America (& Europe) for cheap distillate which to keep it cheap can be made from the poorest quality fastest grown weed utilising the worst PGR methods. As weed this would otherwise normally head for destruction but there is better money to made in calling it mids and lows and shipping it. A lot of it is machined into Shake and some of it arrives right here on LB. Of course it doesπ€·ββοΈ
Meanwhile in the UK we all know there are organised gangs using empty premises to grow and some of these premises are BIG wharehouses and empty offices etc so itβs a big business. But the risk factor means it has to be fast, as fast as possible. PGRβs are inevitable with this dynamic. They donβt give a crap what they grow so itβs inevitably called Stardawg π, and yes it finds itβs way on here.
Even trusted vendors can be tempted by the margin potential on these supplies. Plus the increasing number of new vendors that pop up here every week is a clue. If it looks too good to be true it probably will be.
Fortunately we have many vendors like you that are happy to openly discuss this even when allegations are flying about so thanks!

Really informative post GC something I've been thinking about a lot recently. I think the main thing that worries me if anything is will there be any long term health affects from consuming PGR weed especially for a long term cannabis user.
Me for example I've been smoking bud for around10 years now i just don't want anything to catch up with me later on in life I guess. In all honesty any form of smoking isn't great for your body weather it be vapes, tobacco or bud. I stopped mixing tobacco with my joints a long time ago so i guess I'm doing some justice for my body and lungs!

zerocool40 I understand your concerns mate definitely something to think about believe it or not Iβm still mixing with a little cigarette when smoking so I wouldnβt think it was any more harmful than that. I do believe they use PGR in some foods. But Iβm very well informed on the situation and I always try and find the best quality buds I can get product selection is always top priority.
I saw the stats years ago on the health risks associated with weed grown using pgrβs. The stuff that everyone was using back then, from a memory a product called gravity (and multiple incarnations) did cause an increased risk to health which was why they all got banned but when you drilled down into the figures, the pgr weed had something like a 0.05% increase of certain chemicals that posed a health risk. It was ridiculously low.
Iβm not defending or advocating PGRβs. I would avoid weed grown using a lot of PGRβs in general but the risk is negligible in comparison to the other chemicals widely used in growing weed.
People should be more concerned about weed that has been sprayed with pesticides. It is happening all the time. Literally every month there is another story coming out of America of a supposedly legit well thought of cannabis producer failing tests for pesticides in their weed & concentrates.
Smoking or vaping weed/extracts that have high levels of pesticides is far more damaging to your health than smoking pesticide free pgr weed. People who have been spraying crops with pesticides commercially are getting cancer & suing their employers in America as we speak. If the people spraying crops are getting ill from it what do you think is going to happen to you when you heat/burn & inhale weed containing those chemicals.
If supposedly legit & monitored producers are dowsing their weed in pesticides in a legal market (the US) what do you think is happening in black market grows across other countries.
Not to mention all the dodgy outfits spraying their weed with spice & synthetic terps.
In health risk order you should be more concerned about:
1: Weed sprayed with pesticides
2: Weed sprayed with Spice
3: PGR grown weed
4: Synthetic terps (probably safe but do you really think in the Black Market they are being careful about their selection & its long-term safety).

Interesting right up GC. Personally I don't worry about it. Unless you grow it yourself or you know the grower really well, you never really know how it's been grown. So many things can give you cancer. My old man died at 57 from stomach cancer..never smoked. My wife had 2/3 of her right lung removed at 48 because of lung cancer...never smoked in her life. I've been a smoker/ toker for over 40 years....enjoy life. I'm a great believer in what will be will be...enjoy your bud...if its good it's good...if its crap move on. Life's to short...enjoy it.

Great topic to add dude, keeping customers informed! Think its really important that you've included how many times it is vac sealed when imported, not only does this have an impact but also some imports can take weeks to arrive, just adding to the killing of terps.
I get increasingly more paranoid about smoking shit pgr bud now and with so much being imported vacuum sealed and trimmed to an inch of its life a lot of bud now looks nothing like natural buds. The biggest giveaway for me with pgr weed is the sponge like texture. If you squeeze it and it almost springs back and grinds up like damp weed then it's shit pgr in my eyes!

You shouldn't be allowed to claim any benefits while in full time employment. It's crazy, we are basically subsidising employers who ought to be paying more.
And I hope that, one day, employers decide paying a living wage is more important than ever increasing profits such that in work benefits are no longer necessary. I propose a link between maximum and minimum pay within an organisation. Let's say; no pay ( overall package including bonuses, perks and dividends) higher than 5x the lowest full time salary.

I think his and my politics are probably polar opposites, but you could get fucked up at a party with him and have an amazing time. Anyway, good book. Breaks down all sorts of different political stances, and Good Communism is one chapter, and Bad Communism another. He's a funny guy, but maybe don't consider it as in depth reasoned academic analysis.

Communism is inherently tyrannical. History shows that. There arenβt any examples of success for a reason. It goes against the human spirit. Millions more died die to its tyranny than under the Nazis but you never see documentaries on the BBC or Netflix about Stalin, Mao or Pol Pot. Capitalism isnβt perfect by a long way but meritocracy is natural and drives progress. People to an extent sort themselves into roles and structures on natural ability and interest. Socialism just teaches people to rely on the state whilst the state gets to dictate how people think and behave. Itβs ideological tyranny on the one extreme and financial exploitation of a liberal society by the few on the other. My grandad was a carpenter and paid his subs to his union for years until he acknowledged the financial and ideological corruption that it was based on.

Someone below mentioned Coinbase and Paypal earlier and I had to use that option today. Santander have blocked crypto but with Coinbase there is an option to change the way you pay as long as you have a paypal account linked to the Coinbase account. Only spelling this out as there must be others like me that can't be arsed with crypto but have no choice but to know how to use it
I use Scamtander and occasionally have to call them to verify the transaction but they always allow it. Aside from websites like LB i also buy Porsche parts from breakers in Germany and US who accept BTC only and those transactions can be 1000s, Scamtander are more likely to stop the smallers one on LB or Hydra, Wall St etc

Revolut is defo a good shout. Never had any issues with buying btc/crypto (yet!). Easy sign up process too.
I use Santander who have blocked me many times. The trick is the exchange you use. Uphold for example have a uk bank address set up in your name so you just transfer to that like any other account in your name. You can then convert GBP to whatever you like.

I think the camera on your phone is good try when your taking the pic zoom up then take pic so when post pics of your goods at the other end you can zoom that pic up again when viewing it on these pageβs i can do it on my I phone you should be able to on others π

The mac1 and grape blows those 2 out the window, even though they're still amazing value for money and there's nothing wrong with them. I just felt like saying, as it's always a gamble what you're gonna pick

I feel like other shops spend a lot more time on their photos but their buds don't come close to be honest, not at spaceman prices, feel like people deserve to know the quality and genuine service you get with TSM.
I have a little taste of the ICM and im still trying to nail the smells down too, there's lot going on, theres a flowery thing like a lavender or something and definite hint of the mint in there, might have to get the vape out and investigate further, smokes smooth π¦π

Nice write up, great pic too, i had a juicy custom order turn up today from The Spacers with a Q of the Bacio and im just having a little taste now, ive had a little blast of the Mochi earlier as i loved it before so was looking forward to having that again and you can really tell they share similar lineage, too soon to tell which i prefer, more testing is needed!

We often forget the fact that once upon a time, we didn't know anything we know now. We've learned all we know how to do from scratch. Too many stop trying in fear of failure. But in reality, how many times haven't we failed and are stronger for it? Seeing my baby son choking on a cookie every other time he has one made me realise how far each of us has actually come. Following on from your Rosicrucian interest, you'd probably be very interested in the literary output of Rudolf Steiner, if you're unaware of him currently? So many subjects that he wrote so many fascinating books about. The Occult Significance Of Blood was a great find, and I've only seen it the once. Created biodynamics, a school system, had interests in colour, bees, and so many more things.

I'm not even close to done with the book yet (only got it a couple days ago), but from what i have read R. Coleman is a legend in the field.

My payment has been waiting to confirm for 4 days and my order has now expired. Does this now mean ive lost my money?! Ive tried cancelling it at wallet end but cant because blocks are already loaded into the blockchain apparently. Even if I got the money back to the wallet, Id still have to pay yet more fees to get it back to my bank. This is the rankest smoke buying experience ive ever had. Vendor ghosting me too. Wtf do I do now?!

If the order has expired, once your funds clear on the blockchain it should just bounce back to your wallet.
As MightyRux has said, contact transaxe for clarification but I'm pretty sure the funds will return to your wallet so you've not lost your money!

Hey. You sorted yet? Im now three weeks and that payment stillnot confirmed. Paid the highest fees I could from my wallet and still stuck waiting to confirm as fees were too low. I do not know how the 20 i paid in fees converts to such low fees paid, but im fucked if im giving them more to only wait days for the coin to bounce back to my wallet. Ive had replies saying I havent and wont lose my money, but I cant spend it til it comes back, which is whenever, so its as good as gone. In a pretty heavy depression as been two weeks without any smoke. This situation sucks and is anathema to the whole idea of this site, or so I believed. 130 stuck in the blockchain for nearly three weeks. This is shit
What platform did you send it from? Just wondering if it's low mining fee problem. It's been taking much longer with Coinbase recently.
Contact Transaxe Support with the order number and they should be able to advise about the pending transaction. You haven't lost your money.
I find very often that you're looking at about 3 days for responses, and definitely shouldn't expect anything over the weekend. It'll all be fine, but I appreciate it's a nightmare when your coin is tied up and you have no official reassurance.

It should change to paid almost immediately once your transaction hits 1 of 4 Confirmations. It looks like this hasn't happened yet?

Hello mate, if you go to your wallet it should have a transaction ID for the btc you sent, if you click the ID a link will pop up directing to you to the mempool, but if it doesn't you can copy the ID into the mempool website

Made a transaction sent using the recommended transaction fee but the transaction is left on pending and has been for 2 days now worried the fee was too low and it's not going to be confirmed is there anything I can do?
Ended out just taking a little patience another 12 hours after posting it was done, couldn't boost the transaction with rbf, tried 2 free transaction accelerators don't know if they actually did anything but about 4 hours later it went through, thanks for taking the time to respond vendors like yourself make this site what it is
Happens sometimes it can take 24hrs to clear as long as the code is correct it'll get there
You always get lost crypto back. I sent the wrong currency by mistake once..only 130 USDT and i thought bye bye but it got returned..ages later
The send order will complete on the blockchain eventually- unfortunately you have paid a fee too low to get miners interested in this current feeding frenzy. When it gets to transaxe because the order has timed out it will be sent back to you. They may request a wallet address. Horrible delays, tonnes of frustration, but no you will not lose your moneyβ¦

should have learned your lesson the first time. pistach is super unreliable and regularly doesn't send stuff until you bug them and threaten to dispute. they may be overworked but thats their responsibility to deal with - hire more helpers or cut back on sales.
