I also have a silo and it’s done me well so far. I know the carts that sadhomie is referring to. I’ve not used they ones but every other cart that I have had fits no problem. The silo will come with two magnetic adapters that you screw onto the 510 thread. Makes it easy to swap carts in and out. And it fits in your small pocket in your jeans 👖

Some thicker liquid carts can take a bit of work to get the cart started but once that is done ✅ you’re good to go.

If it’s your first cart experience just a few pointers that I always tell my mates who try them.

The shit is strong especially the D9 only carts. I feel you get a short sharp high that tails off quite quick because of this it’s too easy just to burn though your cart.

The cart is perfect fit for ninja 🥷 stealth but that is also a downfall. As if you just have it in your pocket. You will be reaching for it on and off without really thinking about it.

Use the cart as you would any other cannabis product. If you were going to have a smoke 💨 use the cart. Not use the cart because it’s there. Or it will become expensive.

This is the important bit that at some point you will find out until you find what works for you. If you smoke joint ect don’t try and smoke the cart.

What will happen is you will take some vape and without knowing you will take the cart out and inhale. Don’t ! This will cause a mighty cough, probably make your eyes water but it will fuck you up.

I always say as soon as the cart leaves your lips just keep it shut. Straight to lung 👌 but like everything else. You always find what works for you.

Really helpful feedback thanks bro. As I’ve only got 1 I don’t want to go fuck it up on the first toke 😂. Something I wanted to have as a back up for when I go abroad too so though I might as well buy a mid range one even if it’s only used a few times a year.

I've tried a handful of batteries & my favourites have ended up being sub £10 from grasscity with variable voltage.

As polly already said start with the lowest voltage & work your way up, finding what works best for you. I have also got the CCELL Silo, but found it's not comparable with certain carts & doesnt have a variable voltage among a few other gripes!

i also have 2 ccell silos, love how they vibrate while inhaling, tried the ccell pen batteries, cheap but not as cool.

wish i had variable voltage to avoid burning out the oil, i recommend sayno2drugs on here if you wanna try more, kurvana carbon carts are great.

anyone have recommendations for something like the silo with variable voltage?

To preheat you just hold the button for a few seconds on the lowest setting and this will set you up for your session at the temp. of your choosing. It has four different voltage settings.

I have the Kurvana carts you are recommending 👍😍- never burned out a cart yet….

the carts have never burn out really, just darker colored oil coming off the ceramic at times. I liked the ursa carts too.

It depends if you really want to invest not knowing if you are going to enjoy carts or not. It might be worth spending under a tenner for a simple pen battery but you won’t be able to choose a temperature. Next step up would be a CCell Silo. I use a Vessel Compass which is excellent.
Start with the lowest temp (2.4v?) you want to avoid The Cough!👍

That’s great appreciate both the responses. I’ll have a look now and get something ordered, I might go for the Silo just so I can adjust the temp. It’s something I would definitely consider using but it would depend if I can control the daily intake 😂 these carts can get expensive.

The silo is a slick little device but doesn't have variable voltage or a pre-heat function so can be a bit of a pain. Regardless it is still a very capable battery.

Just realised that 🤦‍♂️. I wasn’t sure if the cart is better under low/high temps so thought having a variable would be a benefit. I.e warming it up a bit as I have seen people say it can be quite thick to start.

Update: I ordered a Exxus from Grasscity and it arrived today. I’ve tried a few variants but I only seem to get a dry hit and a big cough. Anyone got any ideas, I have used the pre heat function before taking a drag, tried the lowest to the highest 2.2-4v.

What am I doing wrong ?

If you are or have been previously a smoker make sure you don’t inhale after you take a draw. Straight to lung and hold it then exhale. The tendency is to inhale like you would a joint. I nearly stopped using them at first because of it.

This happened to me last night, fees on the blockchain are high right now so if you don't sent high fees it'll take longer.
My transaxe order page said paid but like you say lb didn't register it.
However mine took around 30 mins or so not sure, it's probably due to the blockchain being backlogged.

What are you using to send it (coinbase etc.) Does that confirm it's completed? If it does, try logging out and in again. Failing that, post in the transaxe support forum 👍🏻

Yea I use coinbase, it’s showing as completed and not pending. I’ve logged in and out of here a few times unfortunately that didn’t work. Just message support so hopefully they can get it sorted. Cheers for the advice

It is not as easy as some make it out to be,yes you can just plant them in dirt and stick them under a sodium light and you will get a crop,flowering the plants is the easy bit but it is getting the best out of the plant and keeping the strain going that is the hard bit.
Personally i use hydroponics and have two cupboards one for my mother plants and one for flowering,i keep my mother plants under reptile strip lights that keep them in a blue spectrum light 24/7 this stops them from flowering as they need red spectrum light and with clone x i take cuttings and once they have settled into their new media(rockwool) i flower the cuttings under a 500 sodium in the other cupboard,when the mother gets to big i flower her and keep a cutting as the new mother(i have 1 AK47,1 GSC and thanks to the guys at ULC i have 1 pink cookie growing as well and she is doing good :)
I use Ionics as feed for them.
Things you will need are a solutions meter for checking your feed levels and a ph meter for testing ph levels,ph up and ph down solution and clone x,you will need most of these which ever way you grow.
Shh dont tell anybody but my secret grow tactic is i read to them they just love my co2 lol

over a year ago I bought some seeds from here, mounted a SAD lamp (full specrum lamp for Seasonal Affective Dissorder) I already had to the roof of a cupboard, and planted the seeds. I watered them daily and used tomato feed once a week and had some decent success with no real effort. I fucked up and harvested too early but managed to get them back to growing then flowering again, this time i discovered you can pluck the flowers, dry them at 110 degrees for 20 minutes and get smoked. Talk about killing the golden goose.
Anyway, with no effort and not much money I must have grew a few hundred dollar worth, and if I wasn't a fucking idiot it could have been a few grand worth. Of the 20 or so seeds I bought, they all flowered.
So if you get a grow light and good seeds and follow a guide, and are not an impatient idiot.you should have great success.

Hi mate, easiest to keep it organic for the first grows. Use some good bat guano soil ( about £ 12 a bag). use good sized pots. organic feed and the LED lights save a fortune in power ( mars hydro are cheap and good) Barneys farm seeds are always top quality and you can buy in single seeds. good luck.

I'd recommend browsing for some genetics that can take a bit of a beating, and probably stick to autos to begin with.

Manage your expectations but I think with some patience you'll be amazed with results.

Inside for sure. I expect results to vary and it’s going to take me a few drops to get the hang of it. But I really look forward to the rewards of just growing a healthy plant and nurturing it. Thanks for the tips.
