Any seeds around?
Looking for a small amount of seeds 3-5 as a friend wants to start growing. Saw some on here a while back, but none at the moment...
Thanks for your message. I was asking for a friend who only wanted a few seeds (like 5?) but she hasn't been well recently. So I think she's probably lost interest. I will check though. I don't grow myself - there's plenty of fine weed available on LB.๐
Buy them on a dedicated seed site with your card. No need to pay LB premiums for legal products;)
Thanks. I can get these legally in the UK. And I believe peyote cactus takes YEARS to grow?!
Think those peyote take like 12-15 years to grow. San Pedro might take less time, idk. Think those cacti are better off just being bought in dried bits from mystic type sites
Seedbanks sell 1 seed upwards, its not illegal to buy seeds so not much point in anyone selling them on here.
Thanks. That's good to know as the sites I have come across often sell seeds in bulk which are pretty pricey.
Iโve had 100 percent germination rate with rqs autos- pretty decent yields too. Iโm a complete novice

BEST ACTIVITY WHILE STONED
Getting creative with music. After smoking some good sativa, I love to stay up all night playing the synthesizer. I can get lost in it for hours!

BEST ACTIVITY WHILE STONED
What your favourite activity and place while stoned ?? Mountains, football, dancing , films, running or four poster bed ๐ตโ๐ซ
Love running on edibles. If youโve ever run sober and experienced a โrunners highโ - kind of like being in flow state 100% in the present moment, itโs a good feeling anyway. Itโs actually the endocanniboid system kicking in, so if you get a little buzz on before running it times it by 100 and feels fantastic, like I can move my consciousness into my legs almost. Can feel it working on inflammation too during and after. Works similar with lifting too. Anyone that exercises, if you can do it safely high itโs worth trying, opened up discovering a whole new way of being high for me that I wish Iโd discovered earlier! Weed making people lazy is 100% a myth down to how you approach getting high.
Disclaimer: Iโm not a scientist and I also smoke alotta weed so the above science might be completely made up.
Disclaimer: Iโm not a scientist and I also smoke alotta weed so the above science might be completely made up.
Totally a myth!! Weed doesnโt make people lazy at all. And weed doesnโt make you want to stay indoors all the time either - thatโs a personal choice, as well as based on safety of course. Some people might not agree, but weed doesnโt affect the memory either. What really causes memory loss is stress and trauma.. but totally recoverable too.
In my experience, it definitely effects my memory, but itโs more to do with my hierarchy of priorities when Iโm stoned. In other words, I get easily distracted from the mundane when faced by shiny things.
Lol no I agree I never used to excercise much at all. but Mtb on the trails and tracks about here high is the best ever it definitely make you more focused most of time ๐
Yeah I'm not that big on "organised" exercise but I love to get out on the trails on the MTB. If I'm high then I definitely go quite a bit slower, just taking in the scenery. Some nice trails & woods in my area.
Mtb for sure. Huge forest nearby get high go night riding. Get a high lumen light strap it on away you go๐ฌ forest trails are so different at night and you bump into the odd longhorn to give you a little fright here and there๐๐ค
Night riding is definitely something I need to do more often. It's amazing just how different the whole landscape is in the dark & definitely more hazards. No Longhorns near me tho.. ๐ ๐๐ค
Not got the minerals for mountain biking, pretty popular where I am though. Bet doing it high is intense as balls
Interesting! Love a bit of MTB but never tried it while high as I wasnโt sure how it would go. Might have to give it a try this week. Whatโs everyone smoking before a ride then?
I tend to smoke ๐จ๐จwhatever I have if riding especially if out on my own totally zone in to the riding experience ๐ค๐
Just donโt go overboard โ๏ธ

Hands down has to be with good friends, talking shit and just having a right laugh and I mean friends friends people you know and trust 100% getting absolutely torn apart (in a good way that only friends like that get away with) if you have that then if Iโm honest getting high anywhere is perfect.
Iโm lucky to live near the coast so ma dogs ๐ beach! 20 pit stop take it all in and just realise itโs all first world ๐ problems (the amount of shit Iโve sorted over the years high Af just giving yourself that time but still high of course)
And also in my top 3 is got to be the inappropriate high! Something stupid like and this never happened but just say a formal gathering like a wedding or important dinner, kids school show and in your head your thinking ๐ค fuck this I know what can make this situation better.
Your sitting next to some random at a wedding ripping in 97% vape while heโs trying to make small talk, your trying to be polite but your missies is giving you that are you fucking for real ๐ณ look lol
Full disclaimer any events or persons in the above story is fiction and any resemblance of any events are purely quintessential and in no way a true reflection of events that unfolded at all lol ๐

Hahahaha. Snap. School run and the wedding. Made the food taste banging and the music was fire and the fire eater was a surprise the decor was godfather/dictator chic/new money/versace. It was insane. It was all a blur, I still don't know what was real.
I like to get super high on chocolate bars mixed with mushrooms and Moroccan hash end go to the National Forest and take pics of rocks with faces and designs I "see" in the stone.
Combine 3 with cosplay, pop tarts but of Alf/ mork & mindy playing in the back! sorted lol
You know Iโm joking bigbum lol

Donโt man Iโve been enjoying my Monday and to high for this shit lol just unintentionally had an image of someone dressed as Alf pumping someone dressed as Mindy ๐คฆโโ๏ธ Think ๐ค Iโll leave the vape a bit the now lol
Vape away buddy๐๐ฌ๐คฃ remember to keep hydrated ๐ซต๐ blowing smoke in flyโs faces hoping they will fck off and crash out somewhere ๐คฃ๐คฃ๐คฃ lol not really ๐ค
Spending too much time on here out the sun! Wishing my bank account to magically increase to pay for what's in my cart
Vr porn on ma couch wae the doors shut so the weans don't catch me .just wish the wife would though ๐
I've been high for over 15 years now so there's not much I don't enjoy high, I certainly prefer high to sober and anyway some things that stick out as most enjoyable. Wondering around on clear nights, listening to music, kayaking/water sports, playing with dogs/animals.
If it's a nice day then outside for a wander in the countryside for sure. Or a good bike ride. Otherwise some good Sci-Fi or Music and chill. Four poster bed can be fun too ๐
I really enjoy going out for a hike, this time of year I go searching for mushrooms not to eat just to find.
I do nature photography. And being stoned makes the long waiting much nicer. I absorb myself into the natural world. That and sex! ๐
Snorkeling over a tropical coral reef full of fish and sea life is hands down one of the best things to do stoned.
Now the munros ye canny beat!!
What a reward when you get to the top if itโs a clear day and you have a few ready rolled time to get the jetboil out and get yourself a brew and sit back and enjoy some of the best views in the world..

You are really lucky having easy access to such an amazing area! It looks stunning up there.
We are spoiled buddy just the weathers shite lol and the killer midges eat you alive but appart from that it all ๐
Knees are fucked now. ๐
BTW, donโt pass the wee hills by. Iโd go up the cobbler any day of the week and twice on a Sunday rather than drag my arse up that big bing up Glen Shee. Cairn well, I think?

Star-gazing in my garden on a warm summer's night with a big bag of Cadbury's giant chocolate buttons close to hand. Don't chew! Just pop one on my tongue and let it melt into my Indica-addled senses. Or, alternatively, watching a good comedy with like-minded friends. Recently watched Alpha Papa after a sesh - bloody hilarious!
Joints: Music and Drive countryside, make us wanna connect with nature. Lately been taking drives to Drone Fly zones, get hight and put flying glasses on and just enjoy the view from the drones perspective :))
Edibles : just go swimming and spa :)) pure laziness
Bong: Cancel all meetings , get into cosy sofa and watch documentaries with a blanked out face , LoL. It could be most boring documentary to watch when sober, but when hit the double hitter bong - you deep literally everything is been said :)))

I have a wee bird feeder in a nice wee wood near home. I take a hammock and a tarp there and relax. Thatโs about the extent of my bushcraft. ๐
It started as a photography project, but now itโs about the wildlife.

Is British Pop at an All Time Low
๐
Wtf even is Aitch? When I was younger there was the Kersal Massive on YouTube, he just reminds me of one of them with his wet sounding voice, dickhead clothes and shit rapping about getting his dick sucked. Bore off mate, you and Sam Wailing Fucker Smith
In short, yes! 60's, 70's and even through to the 90's we dominated and now...it's pretty much garbage, don't even listen to the radio anymore!
Culture is too atomised due to the internet, and the arts in general are increasingly more like a status game for the rich than in the 60s-90s: there are few financial incentives to be a good musician anymore and only the very biggest, well connected, and commercially safest acts can now make a living from music. Plus all the stuff in the vid cloudeater posted.
Shouldnโt need a financial incentive to be good. Not in any hobby. Your either good or your not. This is Gained by natural skills or just brute force hard work. Although that barely matters these days as per the headline of this topic rightly suggesting a low. Itโs a yo yo. Electronic / new age is the current theme with low quality and high output. It will go back to guitar rock as soon as the uni students decide that is more cool
Agree if it's just a hobby. If you are going to be a professional musician full time, and are not independently wealthy already, you eventually need to make some kind of a living and pay the rent. And you probably won't get pro-level skills at an instrument/performing/production without being able to put a ton of time into it.
The only solid revenue for musicians these days is touring and merchandise. The income from single & album sales is much lower than it was thanks to mp3 & streaming platforms
Everything is so disposable these days ๐ช

New seller here. I am trying to add a token to my LB account. When I click on Get Token and try to login to Transaxe it says Username not Found. I am able to login to Transaxe from their homepage. Any help with this would be appreciated.
I am good with IT stuff, including PGP encryption, but this has me totally confused!

Transaxe support are trying to sort it. If you are having the same issue, might be worth sending them a message.
I just copied and pasted the token from my Transaxe account into the payment processor box on LB settings. Seems to work...my item is now for sale. ๐

Just got to Hurts on the track listing, really good with my coffee and vape so far ๐ just the perfect soundtrack โค๏ธ by that I mean all the tracks so far ๐
Thank you so much mate. Means a lot. You'd be surprised how few people I've ever played my beats to. For context Hurts was from a beat battle flipping Joy Crookes "Hurts" sample, so that was done in an hour as I was late haha. Most of the new ones are small clips of projects started but never finished, and loads I've never even posted over the years
Really enjoyed my morning with your tunes โบ๏ธ can't believe you put Hurts together in an hour ๐คฏ

Thanks Rabb1t, grew up listening to conscious hip hop and indie while the boys were on mobb deep, Wu tang etc, so that will reflect. Didn't help find MCs though over the years, hence never really finished anything of substance. I've had no outlet for these, no vocalists etc so now it's just challenging myself to find, then flip a sample as creatively as possible. Again mate humbled by the praise thanks

Always making music, around 30 years now. Play bass, some guitar and keys.. Nowadays making electronic music with Ableton.
Used to play bass for a living around 10 years ago. Spending whole summers at festivals up and down the country and sometimes into Europe.

Strange timing to bump the topic. Donโt think this vendor is fulfilling orders atm, buyer raised a topic on this recently as they have not had comms returned.

I believe they are strays. As they have been appearing everyday at my cottage for the past 3 years.
So I decided to leave food outside for them on a regular , and brought them a little cat house which they have stayed in most nights.
When the weather turned ice cold I built in a cat flap in the entrance for them, so they can enter the cottage any time.
( best decision iv ever made โค๏ธ)
LILO ( the black one ) is still so nervous with me, she really has trouble getting use to humans , or Maybe just me ๐

And I have also used a high strength cat nip, (pets at home) they seem to work in non stressful situations.

Thank you, I mean I mainly only talk to my flowers a few farm animals and now my moggies, who decided they also like my companionship ๐ ( to a certain extent) , so I really adore animals.
Especially those that have been neglected or hurt. But yea, you could be right about lilo, as sheโs showing the same signs of jasper the dog who my mum adopted because the rspca had been receiving news about a neighbors dog who was being ill treated and starved by a bunch of heroin users. When they found jasper he was lying in his own filth, and was ever so skinny.
Now heโ breaking out of his shell a bit more , and ever so lively and happy, fat and fluffy then he was then. โค๏ธ
I can also tell, you have a soft spot for animals, and I appreciate those that do.
Thankyou for that information Will defo look into the cat spray and the cat nip. Never heard of them before but they sound very useful .

Haha same! just Switch the flowers for shrooms though! (I will often go into my grow room and just yell positively at them FRUIT MY PRETTIES!! ๐ ๐
Im so sorry to hear about poor little jaspers start in life; thank god he had your mum to rescue him!
It makes me so sad and mad how others can treat such innocent creatures who are so full of love and loyalty, with so much hate and cruelty. So many sick individuals out there in the world!
Aww bless his heart! Im so glad to hear Jasper is finally coming into his own and healing in a positive and loving home environment; I assume the pic is of jasper? Jasper is so friggin cute!! I just want to hug him and tell him everything will be okay! His little face man, how can anyone hurt such a beautiful boy?! โค๏ธ
I really do have a soft spot for animals, I love all creatures, (working on the bug life!) as bad as it may sound I value animals more than most humans!
You are very welcome! Its not guaranteed it will work but worth a shot! I also grow my own nip and cat grass in the summer months, but only Zorro appreciates that!
I will (try) post the link here for you! ๐

Iโve got 3 cats and 2 dogs however, I always love cuddling the cats more, so it has to be cats for me๐โโฌ
wow 5 lil fur babies! bet you have your hands full with them! I totally understand where ya coming from, my kitties (well one; Kitler) loves attention and being cuddled, you can literally hold her like a baby, blow raspberries on her belly, she loves it ๐ and she doesn't bite or scratch just takes it and wants more! ๐โโฌ
It can certainly get quite hectic and noisy at times. All of my cats absolutely love to be cuddled and scratched, but I always feel bad stopping since my hands seem to cramp before they are done๐
. I am saving up to add a Maine coon to thefamily,y but they are so expensive.๐โโฌ
lol the cat boat ๐
Bless them all! ๐โโฌ ๐ ๐
my other girl Zorro, she has anxiety and cant deal with too much human interaction so she retreats after the bear minimum of lovings, bless her heart.
haha same with the hand cramp! ๐ the little face looks back at you like. "why did you stop??" "how dare you!" ๐
wow a Maine coon! they are like cat wolves! they are the ones that can grow huuuuge right? I want one of every colour stat! ๐

Zorro sounds like one of my old cats. She eventually got a bit better as she got older, but unfortunately passed before she could shine.
Yup Maine coons are massive cats! Super friendly and cuddly, I believe the biggest recorded is just over 4 feet.ย

aw bless your older cat,๐ lil Zorro has come such a long way from where she used to be, but she gets so stressed so easily, she will tear chunks of fluff out of herself! she has a bald butt now bless her.
wow over 4ft! thats crazy like a mini tiger roaming around the house!๐ป

dogs are amazing, such little characters! ๐ป ๐ถ I swear my sandy was more like a sister than a dog! do you have any lil puppers?
omg what a lil cutie!! ๐ฅฐ those little velvet ears and worry lines are killing me! too cute for words! โค๏ธ love the lead ๐
Iโve never known anything that makes dogs happier than the beach! My dog is quite old now but take her to the beach and she is just a puppy again!๐ (has to sleep for two days to get over it though!๐)
bless your lil pooch!๐ haha the beach is like dog heaven on earth! my sand used to love the beach too, she hated the water but got close enough to paddle bless her heart. I think the beach has a way of releasing everyone's inner child! ๐
awww beautiful pups and pic! ๐ love the identical pose they are both doing! what are their names?
Both, I think people that only like 1 or the other are people you should stay away from in my experience ๐โ๏ธ
and the ones who don't like any animals should be avoided like the plague! I swear animals have a 6th sense for the bad people in society! my sandy would randomly bark at some shady peeps and then be super chill with others; always made me wonder what would set her off and why?!
Oh yes, anyone who doesn't like animals is a red flag. I personally don't believe animals can sense bad people unless they've been mistreated by said person but I do believe animals can sense the owners emotions, feelings to other people ๐โ๏ธ
Def a red flag! ๐ฉ 100% I totally agree animals can sense emotions and feelings! like how they can sense dangers before we can etc.
a bit of a tangent but I saw a video recently where a moose got the attention of a car and made the people inside follow it, it turned out the moose had his family stuck unable to get out, I cant recall if it was mud, ice or whatever but it was requesting the help of the humans, bless him. if I find the vid again I will link it!
back to the subject lol! Do you have any animals?

fav spacey, floaty albums?
sometimes i like to just pop on an album that takes me to another world. two most recent arctic monkeys albums are great for it, i feel like i'm floating through the galaxy whenever i listen to
DJ Shadowโs Endtroducing for me. One of the few multi format albums I own that Iโve had to replace several times cos Iโve worn it out. Freaks me out that itโs nearly 30 years old, it blew my mind then and it still does now. A masterpiece of a sonic journey.
I drove 400 miles to see him DJ. Got realy high then kinda drive home 400 miles. The good old days of 1996.
I second both of these choices. I came here to say the 2nd as clearly the thread title leads anyone who knows the album to think of it. Saw them play it live about 20 years ago, and they were superb.
I third them both amazing albums, I will add any ozric tentacles early albums, cinematic orchestra ,
At one point Spiritualized were my most seen band. Overtaken by Morcheeba by the end of the 90s (i used to go on tour with them tho). Smoke Fairies are up there now too.
If I was going to give a single suggestion it would be:
Aphex Twin - Selected Ambient Works '85-'92
Don't get Volume 2 if you like it and then expect anything like the same thing.

If you haven't already, check out both Noduns Ictus albums. Ozrics but with a focus on their floaty spacey sounds
Omfg the Ozrics! Lying in the dark on the floor two massive kef speakers , head in the sweetspot after buckets and hot knives
The original Dreamfish album was amazing back in the day. I remember getting a cassette tape copy from a guy at school and listening to it on headphones after a spliff which blew my mind. Got the CD off eBay years later and it's still good for an ambient chillout option.
Iโve got the vinyl of that! Quality Fax output. That label did loads of amazing CDs and they were all limited to between 200-500 copies onlyโฆ.
Sweet, I'll need to check my copy then. I might have bagged a rarity if it's the same label! ๐
I had quite a few but sold on sone years back highest I got was ยฃ300 for the second I.F. CD!
I prefer to lose myself in a movie or a game while high but this question feels like it was meant to be answered with ELO - Time.
Anything by LTJ Bukem
Anything by 4hero
Bit more mainstream but also love to chill to a bit of Zero 7๐ The live version of 'Destiny' (linked above) is just beautiful.

Tripping with Nils Frahm is great for a spacey floaty experience. Seeing him live is even better.

Warp Artificial Intelligence 2, from the early 90s. Incredible album, well worth a listen.

Bank stopping buying of bitcoin
Hi
Really want to place a regular order but my bank has told me that they donโt support the crypto Iโm trying to buy.
How can I circumvent this. Can I use a credit card?

I know Santander still do, but they're stopping at some point this year. A friend has tried with Starling and the Co-op and neither of them allowed him to purchase crypto. I'd have thought this would be a much bigger topic on LB as once all UK banks enforce this, this site will either have to evolve or die. Wonder what the next step is going to be?
Next step if that happens is either. My weed group or back to hub 420 who accept difrent payment options if required. Bless
Yep. Monzo is the way to go. Lloyds froze my account when I tried to buy Bitcoin 6 months ago. I had to speak to their fraud team to unlock it. Very stressful.
I'm with Halifax and not had any issues purchasing crypto, apparently RBS and Natwest are friendly to crypto purchases too.
Same for me, no problem so far with Nationwide to Coinbase. Then always send the bitcoin to a separate wallet.
That is who i switched to(HBOS) after Virgin decided to stop me buying btc through blockchain, they asured me they would not be blocking my transactions as i need btc for more than just on here,so far so good and visa seem to be less annoying than mastercard for fraud checks
Get your self to lloyds or any bank that accept crypto my friend and apply with new bank to purchase any bitcoin. I read all over people's banks have stopped this . Not looking forward to when or if llloyds start this also but lloyds fair for me only other sites accept PayPal and credit card only some tho . But don't think little biggy do this
Thanks mate, apparently all companies and banks have to upgrade to this within 1 year. So changing banks wonโt work as they have upgraded.
Iโm stumped now!
Iโm stumped now!
Hi Rhlr
I've been to hell and back with this too.
It IS a big issue on LB but given the number of permutations between banking providers and exchanges some people are affected where others don't even though they are on the same exchanges (and different banks) or vice versa.
I won't name which UK bank suddenly decided to block all my coinbase purchase attempts back in Nov (and my subsequent attempts to do so form 6 other popular exchanges) but as some of you have said this is Government driven (another thing to remember when we go to vote in a couple of years biggas -> I for one will not forget and not forgive).
Having worked in the City in the 90s I bet you that this bout of Governmental control freakishness will probably stop at the dragon gates at the beginning of Fleet Street (where the current PM still has his mates from his previous job remember?).
For us little people and commoners we are facing a complete clamp down on most if not all UK banks.
My November rant is well documented and I can now confirm that the one and only crypto exchange approved by the FCA UK enabled me to purchase on LB again (as of yesterday after the mandatory 60 days wait for debit card transfers).
It turned out to my advantage given the BC has gone up big time since then but I'm wary of boasting about that one exchange (you know the one) allowing us to do business here in case the fuzz is reading our posts (although they seem to be pretty busy indulging in more reprehensible behaviour themselves these days).
The whole money laundering bollox is just an excuse to assert control (did PPE medpro issue crypto transactions - nope - neither did private foreign funders of some of the UK political parties).
At least there is a glimpse of hope now that the FCA has rubber stamped one (and one only) of the exchanges for approval.
Live and learn

Updating my own post...
A quick web search seem to point to a few other exchanges being FCA approved as of late.
There is a search engine on the FCA website to check whether an exchange is approved for crypto business HOWEVER Bitpanda is listed there and I had no luck in transferring from my bank into Bitpanda so go figure.
The one which I ended up using is also listed there and it works - everything else failed (and I've tried every other one suggested here apart from revolut and the one I'm currently using).
The morale is (vendors are going to love me saying this - vendors you're welcome to send freebies my way ;0) ):
1) stash up as much as you can in case things go wrong
2) ask other biggas about their experience
3) do you research and be prepared to switch exchanges at short notice
Cheers

People keep saying to go with Lloyds- Iโve been a Lloyds customer since God was a boy and theyโve done everything possible to block my crypto purchases. Iโve had to escalate my complaints three times and make various declarations and itโs still touch and goโฆ
I know we only call it as we find it but my experience is that Lloyds is no great solution ๐..

Lol its me polly who says lloyds. Only cos I had no bad experiences touch wood. But I also say any bank who accept bitcoin try with them . Il be swapping as soon as llloyds stop mine. Maybe people have different experiences with banks. Bless

Best weed movie?
Seen and contributed to a great topic thread about the best weed song here. How about the best movie about weed or to watch after indulging?
I had another movie in mind when I clicked on this topic, but you nailed it. The greatest stoner movie ever, The Big Lebowski.
How High with WuTang's Methodman - turns out that name is a reference to acting technique.
How about "A Clockwork Orange." Saw it for the first time at my frat house in the early 80's. It's time for bit of the ole in out in out. Love it.
There's always Reefer Madness. It's pretty damn funny, especially since it was released in 1936. Right up there with masturbation causing blindness and hairy palms. If that was true l would be wearing dark glasses, holding a tin cup begging for enough money to buy a new razor.
I've been meaning to watch that after a few spliff for a while now, Yellow Submarine definitely pickles your head too.
"Interstellar 5555" :) (How can you beat Japanese Anime set to Daft Punk's Discovery for audio/visual, I mean come on seriously?lol)
Also How High, Harold & Kumar, Sausage Party and Your Highness,..
Also How High, Harold & Kumar, Sausage Party and Your Highness,..
Only rewatched this a few days ago. I'd forgotten how amazing it is! Thanks again for the recommendation

Hangover 1,2,3, Pineapple Express, Harold Kumar 1,2,3, This Is The End, Tenacious D, Mac & Devin & many many more <3
Absolutely. Dazed and Confused, whenever I want to remember my teens. I definitely peaked in highschool.
Have to say "Up in Smoke" by Cheech and Chong. Stacey Keach at his best and the whole idea of getting EVERYONE at a concert stoned at once!
Agree! Read the book and loved it. Wasn't even aware there was a movie. Going to search for it.
Richard Linklaters two rotoscoped classics, "Waking Life" and "A Scanner Darkly" are great to watch when you're baked.
A Scanner Darkly is a great pic. I only learned recently that Phillip K Dick wrote this (along with the book Bladerunner is based on - 'Do Androids Dream of Electric Sheep' and also 'Minority Report' to name but a few. He is the Don of sci-fi.
Some of his early stuff that hasn’t been made into a movie or a tv show is amazing. Think he found god around the early 70s (the acid and weed was good back in the day) and his later stuff is very spiritual. He is the Don !
I recommend Abre Los Ojos (Open Your Eyes) which was inspired by Ubik and remade as Vanilla Sky.
Yeeeah! Thanks for reminding me of those two. This is my favourite thread of all time.

I remember going to see Cliffhanger when I was on Acid 25 years ago and it scared the fuck out of me as I'm scared of heights.
Idiocracy is an oldie that hardly got shown anywhere. Its funny as f""" very black humour but coming true today, so very relevant. This is a great thread. Thanks all :)

There's a newish film called Valerian and the 1000 planets ( something like that) that's a proper mind fuck too.

Holy Mountain is the Ipsissimus of psychedelic movies.
Inherent Vice is a late entry but an instant classic and Friday is hilarious, one of the funniest weed films from beginning to end.

Was gonna say this. Amazing film, rewatched it last night and it gets better each time there's so much going on. And Short Round won an Oscar.
I just scrolled through 100 comments and none said Cisco Pike??? Retired dealer Kris Kristopherson has to sell a garage full of bales of weed for cop Gene Hackman...how did you all miss that classic?
Haven’t seen it, but now I will....especially as I’ve just had a delivery of some jack herer. Thanks for the recommendation
Amazing movie...matched by your choice of profile pic.an absolute classic graphic novel.shouldve won way more awards.
Inception is incredible when high, most Nolan movies are due to the picture quality on his movies (and the topics). But I love watching Inception stoned, recently watched Tenet and have watched it another few times high and it blew my mind.
I’ve heard tenet is an absolute mind fuck so I’ll have to roll one and load it up. Cheers for the recommendations
Point Break (original) is a great movie to watch while stoned, failing that Supertroopers is always a winner!
Heres one i dont see mentioned enough and is a amazing movie. Mr Nice , its a movie about the great howard marks and importing weed into the uk back in the day. its really funny and well worth a watch
Whilst it's dated now, when The Matrix came out in 1999 it was like nothing we'd seen before. I went to see it in the theatre sooper high and it was a wild ride never to be forgotten.
Matrix. Not my sort of film normally. But one quiet night in the house, slowly and steadily getting stoned and it all made sense, until the next day.
Pineapple Express is funny as hell when smoking your favorite kush or haze or hash. This whole movie revolves around smoking weed.
Can believe these havenโt been mentioned ! If Iโve duplicated apologies ahead itโs a long thread

Best music 2 trip With???
Totally agree. You can get lost in the Ozrics' soundscapes.
Thriller (was the 80s and I was a young kid - the Making of Thriller, the no. 1s on MTV rotation).
This tune has sent me to good places in the past. (The distorted harmonica/accordion at the end, oh my)

Potential for a few Tarantino options here, but Iโm a big fan of this score.

Love this one. Been in rotation for years. Not all the colabs work now but there's some bangers on there. The Teenage Fanclub & De La Soul joint is a great addition to any stoner playlist.
The Matrixโฆ got some quality nineties trip hop and metal on it.
Rage Against The Machine, Deftones, Prodigy, Massive Attack.

New Study Finds Psychedelics' Neuroplastic Effects Linked to Intracellular Receptors, Potentially Boosting Drug Delivery Strategies
Despite the growing popularity of psychedelic drugs as a possible treatment for mental health, we do not fully understand how they work in the brain. Substances, such as MDMA, DMT, and psilocybin, have shown promise in treating mental health conditions such as depression, anxiety, and PTSD. However, in order to harness the therapeutic potential of these drugs, we need a deeper understanding of their effects on the brain.
THE STUDY
A recent study published in the journal Science has helped advance our understanding of how psychedelics work. The study sought to understand the neuroplastic effects of psychedelics, and to investigate whether a stronger binding to certain receptors resulted in more extreme neuroplasticity.
The team of researchers looked into the structure of two common psychedelics, DMT and psilocin. They also analyzed a chemical, ketanserin, which is often used to block psychedelic activity. By modifying the structure of these substances, they were able to determine that a compound's ability to cross cell membranes was positively related to its neuroplastic effects.
Through further experiments, the team found that the receptors inside the cell, rather than on the surface, are activated by psychedelics to stimulate the growth of brain cells and produce antidepressant effects. This suggests that serotonin may not be the natural activator of a considerable portion of 5HT2A receptors, and DMT is more likely.
Additionally, the team found that electroporation significantly improved the delivery of drugs to target intracellular receptors. By creating tiny holes in the cellular membrane, electroporation allowed molecules to enter the cell's interior and produce plasticity in the same way as their unmodified counterparts.
WHAT DOES THIS MEAN?
Taken together, these findings could significantly improve drug development and delivery strategies, allowing for better delivery of drugs to target intracellular receptors. Moreover, the study's finding that it is receptors inside the cell, not on the surface, that are activated by psychedelics and produce their beneficial effects could lead to the development of more targeted treatment options with fewer side effects.
In conclusion, while the therapeutic potential of psychedelics has long been known, our understanding of their effects on the brain has been limited, until now. With this latest study, we have a better understanding of how these drugs work and how we can improve their delivery for the greatest therapeutic benefits. These findings are an important step forward for a crucial field of study.

First time I heard Miles Davis on sketches of Spain i could feel the sun and smell the olive trees, Rare a record truly transports you so effectively.
Very good call... got to add grand wazoo and Joe's garage to the list. The keyboard solo on cyborg is genius
Shit yeah! Moon Safari was great when it landed in the late 90's and still sounds every bit as fresh today. I'm also partial to a bit of Junip, a Swedish folk rock band.
The Lord of the Rings: The Fellowship of the Ring: Original Motion Picture Soundtrack
It’s a great Tolkien Album!
It’s a great Tolkien Album!
Takes me back to the early 90's......that and Moon Safari by Air stand out for me. I listened to Adventures Beyond the Ultraworld by the Orb a lot back then too. I still roll this one out - another great toking album.
My guitar teacher switched me on to these guys way back. Nowadays, I appreciate this much more than I did then!
Lucky enough to see Ozrics at several free festivals in late eighties and nineties, once so caned on micro dots I thought I was watching floyd from the meddle era.
Great band , nice guys.
In similar vein try the ;porcupine tree’

My go to is Pink Floyd ‘The Dark Side of the Moon’, followed by Dave Matthews ‘Before These Crowded Streets’ or ‘Under the Table and Dreaming’ and First Aid Kit ‘Ruins’
Its a personal choice and each to their own taste however if there is a list of great albums to listen to when stoned then Fleetwood Mac - Rumours has to be on it.If you have never heard it then you are missing out on one of the greatest albums ever made.
Rumours takes on a totally new life when stoned. I wish I had the songwriting gene!
+1 for Rumours - there is a great documentary about the making of it...well, about the whole band, how they formed etc. They were basically hating each other when that album was made (which is obvious when you listen to the lyrics). Have a look for it on the iPlayer - well worth a look
can't beat a bit of BOC
Saw Phaeleh at Kendal Calling 10 years ago and he played this album in full. Been in love with it ever since. My go to.
This is a bad boy for chilling to, and the artist not very well known so give it a whirl.
K&D Sessions and DJ Kicks albums are legendary!

Waiwan is my favourite ‘unknown’ artist - really low key releases that are mind blowing. Got a couple of his remixes on vinyl will try and find them and upload here!
You have great taste sir!
You have great taste sir!
Discovered Double Negative by Low last year and have listened to it whilst toking many times now. Went straight into my stoner music list... Sounds awesome on vinyl..
Thanks for that tipโฆI keep defaulting to โThings We Lost In The Fireโ but will play this today after a good toke on Smoggyโs Mimosa! ๐คค๐ค
From avenged sevenfold through to chopin and everything in between. This is really awesome to listen to. If you want a nice hour musical journey one of the best albums I could listen to from start to finish is Smashing Pumpkins, Siamese Dream, and it's not traditionally my fav music. Or anything Led Zep.
Great album alright, recently rediscovering how good the klf-chill out album is,well worth a listen, albeit a little less electronic but ye,cant go wrong with the k&d sessions either!
Haven't listened to the K&D sessions for ages! Well thats my morning soundtrack sorted.
Strange Cargo 3 by William Orbit is good toking album.
Strange Cargo 3 by William Orbit is good toking album.
Or as we used to call it....the ultimate album come down album! Not that this happens anymore, but...put this on as the last album of the night/morning after a night of raving and loads of mdma! Perfect!! Thanks for reminding me of this, been about 15 years since I listened to this beast!
You know it - that's how I first discovered it too. And yeah, It's been waaaayyyyy too long since I had one of those nights. As soon as the world gets back to normal I'm going to recreate 'the old days' :-)
Any, post Syd, Floyd for me- as long as it’s an album start to finish, for the full experience
Yeah, you need the full experience. Imagine a single from Dark side or animals. Even worse, wish you were here. Damn pesky kids don’t know what a single is. Bah humbug.

"We're Only In It For The Money" the Mothers Of Invention, released 1968. Works well on acid too.
Speaking as an old hippy back in the day it had to be "We're Only in it For The Money" from Zappa and the Mothers. Really fucked with your head.
In the last few months I’ve discovered Ben Böhmer. I find his music and mixes to be superb listens while high. Mainly upbeat tempos contrasted with deep bass and uplifting beats. Give it a try ???

Unless I missed it, how has no one mentioned Dark Side of the Moon?!
It's possibly the only album that can get you high with no supply!

K&D are (were) the Dons! Love those guys I'd put Cinematic Orchestra up there too. Worth checking out if you've not heard their stuff.

Just watched 10 minutes of that - awesome! I'm an amateur music producer and love tweaking the knobs and dials so I will be watching this in full over the weekend - thanks for sharing
I'll throw this in... A bit obscure... Gets the old red eyes pumping and gets a nice on the go, too.
lol use to flat out play this. tried to listen again recently though and I feel it hasn't aged well. the beats aren't great!
It's all relative I guess eh! I still love it personally and feel it holds up well after 22 years....but Jesus, reminds me how old I am!

Just heard he died a few days ago and saddened to hear of his passing. Much respect to him for his great work with the original incarnation of Hawkwind and his tireless work ethic afterwards. Highly eccentric and a bit ornery, but nobody can deny his essential role in the evolution of space rock.

The story I heard they asked jimi Hendrix to play with them at the Isle of Wight(outside the gates, thatโs where hawkwind played)but apparently he said no he was depressed, couple of weeks later jimi Hendrix was dead
A lot of people were protesting against the admission fees thatโs why hawkwind played outside.
They were pretty unknown at the time
1970.

Hawkwind played outside the gates at the Isle of Wight festival, every drink was laced with acid.
The guitarist at the time (Huw Lloyd Langton RIP) had a bad trip at IOW 1970, think the band were playing in an inflatable tent that deflated in a speedy manner! Huw was so so wasted in cid, that he fled in terror and wasnโt seen for a decade! Not sure how much truth in story, but sounds about right!
He was a good front man for hawkwind, my brother was really into them heโs got everything that hawkwind brought out, a big collection.
Both Nik and Robert Calvert were equally good frontmen.
Check out the Stonehenge 1984 dvd with Nik in full body suit and obviously high as fuck. That was Alan Daveys first gig with Hawkwind too, 99% genuine Lemmy replacement, fantastic bassist Alan.

No Service From Today (07/07/22)
Recently due to family illness we have been taking breaks from LB to help out. Unfortunately our family member has passed away.
We have pulled all listing to be available to support family and make arrangements.
All orders that came in today have been sent. We will have someone available to respond to queries and any issues with current orders but this will be intermittent but all will be resolved in good time.
Someone will log in everyday to tend to these messages but please be patient. Thanks to all for your support. We will be back on and off whilst we spend time at home !

I'd say they are very reliable (DIUK) if that helps. Not had the RSO from them recently though.
I got a sample of FastbudsUK RSO and it is very very strong, if this what your friend is after. Just do 1/2 rice grain doses (or maybe less) if they haven't had it before perhaps?
That's the best start tbh. Really small to start off with. After roughly a week your tolerance will kick in. Good shout db365
Are you referring to thc rosin oil? My alias is wavespell1. I have a great source and I have two ticture bottles with a dropper for precise dosing.
Rosin oil preserved in ethanol (everclear). I live in US, but can ship to Europe too. Just message me.

Presumably you've read the others... 21 lessons for the 21st century was also excellent.
If Yuval Noah Harari helps explain how we got here I'd say Max Tegmark - Life 3.0 has a pretty good handle on where we might be going.

Hmmm, not really read anything life changing.. More of an autobiography type of guy, unless the subject matter interests me.
I can see how The Four Agreements could be life changing... Some good rules there that can translate over to the world of forums .... lol ;)
I'm currently reading two books: Finger Prints Of The Gods by Graham Hancock (basically alternative view on ancient history) and Jim Ross's 1st part of his autobiography Under The Black Hat. (Going back to my youth for the late 80's/90's wrestling)

Jurassic park for me. Not because it's particularly weighty or substantial. But it inspired my career in computer science. And have never looked back
The Overstory is a wonderful book of fiction. One of the best books I have read.
Life changing for me have been Russell Brands books: Recovery in particular helped me through a difficult time. Jordan Peterson 12 Rules for Life also gave me a much needed kick up the ass.
The Dalai Llamas Guide to Happiness also great, as is The Book of Joy he did with Desmond Tutu
