Get your own wallet, i've always used atomic wallet, and send to your own wallet first after buying btc from legit sites.
Don't ever send btc from legit sites to a transaxe address. A transaxe address is easy to spot and these legit websites aren't stupid.
Once you have your own wallet and you're asked that question again (if they still deal with you) put your own name down.
I use coinbase without issue (every single purchase made has been sent to the same address, my address) but many many folks have issues with Coinbase shutting them down, for doing exactly what you've done.
These websites could get into trouble aiding illegal purchases so they're just trying to cover their backs.

I've amassed almost a full btc right now in my wallet (according to coinbase 😉).
You can set your own fees with atomic, the more you pay the faster it clears.
Try to stay above 40 Sats, it's what the fees are called, you'll see it in atomic once you select 'set your own fees' or some such.

Marked as sent Friday 1:30pm ish, no sign of it here.

Not overly concerned if they've done a runner because we will get our refunds anyway.

However normal Post seems to have a delay also, something completely unrelated to LB ordered Thursday and said would be here Saturday, turned up about 12:30pm today.
So may all be a coincidence with postal delays and them being AFK 🤷.

I’m in the exact situation, I ordered hash last Thursday morning and paid for 24hour tracking,they marked it as sent at 1.30pm on Thursday but it didn’t arrive and I messaged them and they only said to let them know when it arrived, but it still didn’t arrive on Saturday so I messaged them again with no reply and unfortunately my order still hasn’t arrived as of Monday 24th June,so I have messaged again with me being a little pissed off as not only have they let me down but I have let down friends who were counting on receiving their Hash on Friday/Saturday as I paid for my delivery to be tracked,thank goodness I did. Just to add that I have made over 150 orders over my time on LB and have never had a dispute with a vendor,which is a pretty good record, so I really want this to be situation to be resolved asap.

Has anyone heard from LVcannabis today, they messaged me yesterday afternoon saying that they were hectic on Friday and my order had been sent yesterday, but still nothing today,as I originally paid for 24hr Tracking I asked the question if they had used the 24hr Tracking but I’m yet to get an answer,which really doesn’t surprise me.
They said that Friday was such a busy day, but that actually means nothing to me because they had my order marked as sent on Thursday at 1.37pm, so the really busy claim on Friday doesn’t relate to my order, so I’m assuming that they absolutely lied to me and my order WAS NOT SENT ON THURSDAY!!
I can’t personally dispute this order until Saturday, so I won’t get my money back until next week,meaning I have no money to get hash that I should have had last Friday!!

Nice to see some change in the making. Just out of curiosity, why a stablecoin? Would it not be easier to just implement Sol as the payment token? Don't mean to be negative but it's very difficult to create a stablecoin that will continuously maintain it's peg. Is it an algo based stablecoins you guys are developing?

I did see that Circle have just released their EURO stablecoin which afaik is on Solana Chain. Could possibly be an idea to use. Would be like USDT but without having to pay ETH gas fees.

usdt solana has been around for a while, stable and smallest fees around

They will use an existing stablecoin on Solana.

Privacy is decent and network fees will be minuscule although you will need a tiny amount of SOL in order to transact.

It's as simple as this really, there's teenagers setting up websites for their 'NFT Projects' which have all crypto payments implemented including BTC, ETH, ADA, XTZ, SOL etc... If LB really wanted to utilize another chain or layer 2, it would of been sorted a long time ago.

I see a lot of people going on about privacy concerns etc, yet majority are using a CEX to on-ramp/off-ramp so your privacy is already out the window I'm afraid. Even BTC, to people that know what they're doing, come on it really ain't hard to follow the coin on-chain.

We are buying bits of herb at the end of the day, LB is pretty tame with the products on here so I can't imagine feds are gunna be spending resources and money to track down JimmyBois half oz he bought for the weekend. Obviously maybe a bit different for vendors though I appreciate that.

I find it astonishing that they're happy for buyers to go elsewhere. I use another platform now and pay in LTC, £100 costs me about £3 to buy and less than 1p to transfer which is completed in less than 20 minutes. Its a real shame as I love LB but I'm not willing to pay through the nose for the privilege when there are very much comparable market places, that accept 3 or 4 payment methods.

The more payment methods the better in my opinion but i get how hard it is to restructure these things.
Pity the evil overlords wont let you guys just use Fiat payments would be cool if i could just buy using the good old British pound.

Yet there are other clear net sites that do just that- give the option to pay in £££...why are they not bothered I ask myself?

What sort of timeframe are we looking at for a move to using a different coin .. we need it now more than ever .

Exodus tried to take a tenner to send around £70 last night, I manually reduced the fee slightly and now the transaction has sat for 14 hours without being confirmed. Also the cost to buy btc is super high, I’m paying at least 10-15% on every purchase

I went to buy £22 worth of bitcoin on bitylicious 2 nights ago but they were going to charge me £28 altogether. No chance. And exodus was showing around £7 for network fees so i didn't bother with that either. I then went on my new kraken account and £22 of bitcoin cost only 44p in kraken fees so I bought the bitcoin there and sent it straight to LB. The network fee from kraken to LB was £1.50

On the Web version of exodus u can set your own fee.. so a few days ago I set the fee at £3 to send, after 3 hours it didn't send so I used the £2 I had left in my wallet to accelerate the transaction and it went through within 10 minutes

The fee inflation is correlated to BTC/USD volatility.

Give it a couple weeks and fees will be back to manageable prices.

i noticed the mempool backlog last night and today is worse, insane fees are needed right now.

Just had to pay £6.50 to transfer BTC from the exchange to my own wallet then another £8.50 in fees to transfer coin to the vendor! £15 fees for a £100 purchase! Appears to have gone through ok though.

But you'd have paid the same for a £500+ order. The system is stacking to favour high value transactions as these are paying fees of $1k+, so they want things moved ASAP.

The way it's going currently mate if anyone has an option of fees to send then go with the highest. The lowest will be continually outbid and will take days to confirm.

Longer time = lower fees is a usual option, but with this volatility I don't know if that's a reasonable option. I think it's currently high fees or no confirmations. The amounts being sent are insane.

Was over 140 sat/vB moments ago and has come down to 111 sat/vB in block currently being processed. Just crazy.

Got messed up by it on Tuesday but got order through in 2 hrs. Fees kept going up and up and pushing my transaction back in the queue.

Def worth checking mempool before making a buy to see where to set the fees. Hope it clams down soon, as it makes it near impossible to buy.

Have you clicked on that final block then looked at some of the largest transactions? Millions are being shifted in single transactions currently. Some of these wallets have had throughput of 20k+ Btc... They're paying fees of thousands of dollars to get these transactions priority in the blockchain.

Yes I saw that the other day, eye watering amounts! Imagine how many times you'd re-check the wallet address before pressing Send on a transaction like that!

The last block processed at 161sat/vB and contains many multi-million dollar tranactions.

The mind boggles at what's actually going on. I was reading earler about some BRC_20 token that was btc linked and causing blockchain delays, but that was back in May.

The transactions in the final block awaiting confirmation ranges from 122 to 1440 sat/vB! Something is definitely going on as all of these huge transactions are bumping the regular transactions back into other blocks and they're never getting confirmed. Been going on for a week or so and just getting higher and higher. So May must have been when I was thinking of when this last happened?

I've had payments with fees of 21 sat/vB awaiting 1st confirmation for 8 days now. It's a nightmare. It was 104 sat/vB for high priority last night. Ludicrous. Higher than it was about 4-5 months ago when it last went haywire.

I get a consistent 3% or so in fees buying from Bittylicious, but the huge fees are the ones to get that sent from your wallet to Transaxe as usually you can fund around 3-5 sat/vB and it sails through in well under an hour, but now the fees are around 110 sat/vB for priority which is around $5.

How can you see where your transaction is at? I’ve had my payment pending since the 5th. I’d quite happily pay a little extra to get it through. I’ve actually made 2 purchases since they have gone through and the biggest one is still waiting.

Hey Colin. If you click on the link (save it, it's handy), get the transaction ID from your wallet for this transaction and cut and paste that into the search bar on the link. It'll give you a visual representation of where the transaction is sitting in the blockchain, and how long it's likely to be before it's confirmed. If yours has been this long mate I doubt it will be confirmed with a bump in fees as it's around 305 sat/vB currently on 18/11, which is insane.

Apparently it depends on the node that it's being processed through, but a high proportion are set up with a default of 14 days before being purged, at which point it should return to your wallet. Saying that, I had payments sent from Transaxe that took over 28 days to confirm, but they did eventually.

The fees are ludicrously high currently mate, so everyone started paying more and more in fees, so yours and thousands of other transactions have been bumped so far back that in the current situation they'll never be confirmed, hence the purging.

It's really complicated though, isn't it, even if someone is technically savvy? I've only been seriously working this out since April, and I feel I've barely scratched the surface of how this all works. If it costs me money though you can be assured I'll try to work out how it can cost me less.

If purchasing from 2 different sellers at the same time in the same shopping cart, will it keep the network fees down and would it still go through properly to the sellers? As youll only have one bitcoin senders address and one bitcoin price to copy and paste into your wallet for the transaction. Cheers for the advice guys👍🏻
