So I've been on a break for health reasons. This morning I've logged in and picked myself some good looking bud, headed over to bittylicious to pay for my order and it says there are no bitcoins available in the UK to purchase?
So what's this all about? I had a look through the topics but couldn't find a post on it, tho it's probably an old topic. Can someone shed some light on the matter?

Everything looks fine when I've just logged in. Transfer is the way to go over paying by card

That does not sound right at all, bitcoin seems to be working fine. Some UK banks have been stopping payments, but the online ones Monzo & Starling still seem fine

It is hard to watch someone deteriorate like this, it has been traumatic for us all. Unfortunately the tragerdy did not stop there and 4 days after burrying my friend we found his wife dead, we suspect suicide but hope she died from a broken heart.
Atleast they are together now.

He is an older fella and im going to to everything I can to convince him to give RSO a try, hopefully the scare mongering back in the 60's wont put him off too much.

Ok, so I have had a nightmare with BTC today.
I normally just send payment via BittyLicious direct to the vendor with minimal fees, quick and simple. Last time I ordered i decided to make payments via my own wallet so I could buy extra BTC and start building a little pot for myself. I made a small purchase which was at the time just under £45 and exodus network fee was well under £1 so today i have bought more BTC than usuall to reduce BittyLicious fees and build that pot. Then the nightmare started. Well first the coins would not confirm untill I disabled my vpn, which made me miss cut off time and reduce my security! and then when they do clear i go to send a little under £75 and the fukers charge me over £8. Why are the fees so much more? What wallets are you guys/gals using and what are the fees like?

The same thing happened to me this morning, bittylicious charged me 10 for 70, every time i tap the get coins button the price jumped up to silly amounts and the day before i had to cancel 3 orders because of problems with card authorisations, I'm looking for a more transparent and cheaper way to buy btc.
keep fucking exodus you could do worse the fees are set by the miners that control the btc network, when that goes up it effects all wallets.
Yeh this just happened to me with Exodus. Use Crypto to buy BTC then send to Exodus wallet. When I first joined fees were fairly minimal (£2-3 max) but they’ve shot up of late and now it’s costing about £10 in fees. £55 Henry’s are now basically £65 which is just too much IMO. I’ve no idea about other coins etc but there’s got to be a better way than BTC. If things don’t improve I’ll definitely be cutting back on my spending on here.

Slow burner due to complication of story, but it is relatable as the war on drugs does not have a start or end to it, and street dealing doesn't just start, therefore you are immediately immersed in the story without even realising. Only figured that out the second time watching it. Also some great visual metaphors throughout. Also note there is no cue music to instigate feelings. All music is from source, i.e. car radio, night club. Only cue music is when Avon enters the lowrisers for the first time
The Ozark - Although breaking bad is good, it's not worth the hype. This is the older cooler brother of breaking bad. Calculated and intense at times. Story is always moving forward with real character progression
Altered Carbon - Absolutely fantastic sci-fi with great visuals and a great story line. Really left me itching to read the book, and I'm not a sci-fi fan
Arrested Development - Intelligent comedy with so much layered jokes you can watch this five times and still find punch lines you never noticed before
People Just Do Nothing - Threw this on not expecting much which is perhaps why I found it to be so good. Off the wall characters made completely believable by the actors playing the parts. Excellent idea, excellent execution.
Peep Show - This is a classic, you need to watch this
Trailer Park Boys - Another classic everyone here should be able to relate to
Big Mouth - Great for a background watch, but really funny and does take you back to your teenage years at times, haha
Fargo - Beautiful cinematography, great story captured very close to the original film. Billy Bob absolutely shines in this role in season one
Life On Mars - Made in early naughties, but just as relevant as today
Dark Tourist - good short run of a different kind of travel show. The kind of travel I like too
The Wolves Of Yellowstone - Nature documentary that has a story line Walt Disney would be proud of. Really makes you realise the balance of nature
Utopia - Such an underrated British TV series
It's Always Sunny In Philidelphia - Great zany show about dysfunctional friends who live in their own world, and drink in their own pub causing all kinds of ridiculous antics

Dark on Netflix. German show about time travel set in a village where kids keep going missing every 33 years. Stunning production values, really intricately plotted, three series, all ties together. Loved it. Has an English dub but the German audio with subtitles is best.

Yeah I agree, I liked BB a lot but I came to it a bit late and like UKgrower hearing the hype maybe expected too much. Better call Saul I didn’t expect much of at all, didn’t think it’d get past Series 1 but now I think it’s better than BB.
If you enjoyed Breaking Bad, then give Better Call Saul a go. I always thought he stole every scene he was in during Breaking Bad.

Yo UK Grower. I have just discovered Channel Zero on StarZplay, prime add on. It’s a really good horror series, twisted stuff, defo a bit freaky.
To any one who likes comedies don't be put off What We Do in the Shadows, it's vampires but it's not really a "vampire" type show.... it's really funny when high and the second series has just come out on iplayer.
If you're into Sci-fi I'd highly recommend Altered Carbon on Netflix. Really cool story and visuals. I seen somebody recommended Ozark, excellent as well. If you like animation and feel like a laugh give Rick and Morty a watch, The Midnight Gospel is also new to Netflix but really trippy / funny in my opinion. Happy watching!
I almost pissed myself with laughter watching the first episode as I watched the trailer but wasn't really for how out there this really is. A must watch for any sci fi and gaming fan or if you have a sick sense of humour like me :)

Since it hasn’t been mentioned here , it only proves how massively underrated Wilfred is . Had great laughs :) U.S. version of an Australian cult sitcom about a meek young man and a pot-smoking talking dog named Wilfred (actually actor Jason Gann in a dog suit, whom everyone else sees as just a dog). Won’t spoilt it anymore
Watching Yellowjackets at the moment, pretty good but if you watch the pilot episode don’t be put off as that’s a bit shit, it does get better!

just call Saul was better than breaking bad in some ways (last series a bit disappointing tho). Always interested to see if people liked the Midnight Gospel (single series, animation, also Netflix).
If you liked Breaking Bad you might like Better Call Saul... it's slower but the writing and cinematography are actually better imo. Plus by S5 the pace is basically on BB levels.

A pro thief / seriously tough guy played by Anthony Starr ( Homelander from the boys) rolls into town, assumes the identity of a recently deceased new Sheriff that no one has met yet. Boom, he's now the law in town and is actually very good at stopping crime. Insane realistic violence, Amish gangsters, bikers, native American mafia and lots more, best show I've ever seen

Fargo is probably the best series ever after GOT. Better Call Saul was brilliant too after a slow start. Better than Breaking Bad for me.
All the seasons are good and different stories so don't need to watch in order. All true apparently. The movie's a bit dated now but a great watch too.

I never thought I'd see someone mention The Platform. Great film if you've got your stone on! Alice in Borderland is brilliant also it's like a mash-up of The Prisoner and Battle Royale.

so sorry to hear about this bud. Someone else said it but this is usually down to poor stealth and packaging. I'd get on to the vendor to find out their standard as it doesn't appear to be good enough.

Bitcoin isn't all that private, and considering (as far as I know), coins like Monero that actually ARE private don't seem to be used, is there any way I can keep people from seeing what exactly I'm buying with my coins? Right now, all my coins are sitting in a Binance wallet, if that matters.
You are absolutely right, BTC was not created with the purpose to be anonymous, but, it is also much harder to track down a person based only on a BTC transaction. Anyway, yes, you can make it even harder to track you by using a BTC tumbler service.
If you know that address X is owned by Mr. Y, then yes, it is perfect for tracking all his activities, otherwise not much helpful.
No, it is not, you can't pick an address and just find the IP linked to that address. Unless who owns that address used a compromised wallet which added in the header chunk more information about the sender. But this would be a little bit difficult to happen because the tx would have an invalid header.

But I think that we should clearly state that the blockchain does not store the IP address (a good example are the offline wallets, which can send/receive without even being connected to the internet).

One thing you haven't listed that you may want to consider is RSO or Rick Simpson Oil. Couple of vendors sell it but one particular one specialises in it called Oilman and he's very professional. I've used RSO a few times for arthritis pain and it works really well.

It comes in a 1ml syringe way I use it is I put a bit about the size of a grain of rice in my mouth, leave it to swill about for around 5 mins and swallow. Starts working after an hour or so but its a bit faster acting doing it after a meal. I'm currently suffering badly with avascular necrosis of the hip joint taking the oil helps me walk without a stick.

Cheers dude I've heard people have good experiences drinking with RSO but it's not something I've tried. For me the high by its self in high doses is a bit like taking a tranquilizer, but I always use it 3 hours before going to sleep(it really helps if you have sleep issues too). One thing I have noticed it works better after eating and hits faster the longer it's kept in the mouth.

This drug affects the chemical balance of your brain, when i stopped taking it I had the scariest mental episode, which ill try and explain. I was sitting at my desk everything was fine and all of a sudden I felt like I was going to get up and hurt myself, it was like someone else was controlling my thoughts. I was terrified but aware the whole time, I sat there frozen for 2 hrs as i dear not move, I was fighting myself not to get up as i didnt know what I was about to do. This is not like me at all and as you can imagine was terrifying! 90% of the medications they give can be replaced with cannabis, with far less side affects. Go for an indica dominant plant any of the dawg strains allways work best for my pain relief, there my go to and are really effective. The booze is your choice but it has wreaked my nervous system over the years and have several nurological problems due to alcohol. Stick with the weed and get those body repairing cannabanoids in ya, its the best medicine ;) Gl with the pain relief, stay safe stay medicated.

yeah deep aint it. The problem is with doctors they are educated poorly on medications, take this drug or take this, mainly man made garbage that gives bigger problems than what you are trying to fix. Run by big pharma companies, scared of this devils plant. cannabis has been used medicinally by EVERY culture on the planet for thousands of years untill they gave it a bad rep. They dont want you growing your own medicine, which we should all have the right to! I have bad information and because I cant take anti-inflammatory,s the doctor said nothing I can do for you. Ive found that tumeeric helps massively but they dont tell you that because of poor education. Nature knows best

You’re right- you’ve just gotta follow the money. There is no money for big pharma in supplements like turmeric, or generics like aspirin or curing cancer rather than easing symptoms. I’m not saying there aren’t modern medicines that work but they only hit the market when the price is right!

no worries mate. really comes down to personal preference but I like a nice haze or mimosa. half the fun for me is trying new strains. look at the genetics when you buy so you get an idea for what works best for you. maybe try a heavy indica for the pain. let me know if you need me to look over any listings for you before buying.

You should try a TENS machine for your back pain. Cheap & no side-effects. Min hr at a time a few times a day and stick at it for a few weeks. Strange sensation, but you get used to it after a couple of sessions. After more than a decade of chronic back pain from degenerate discs, the TENS has been more effective than any of the meds or methods I have tried.
Well that’s very interesting DTB ‘cos the missus bought me a TENS kit and it’s been sitting in its box on my desk where I have been eyeing it sceptically for some time having no idea what its all about! (reading the instructions being the last resort!!) I’ve got nothing to lose so many thanks for the heads up, and the wifey will stop nagging me too!
Essentially you're trying to re-train your brain so it stops interpreting that nerve signal as pain, or at least turn the volume down, and that's why the sessions need to be at least an hour long. It's a gradual process. Sometimes I'll wear mine for 3-4 hours if I'm doing a spot of DIY or any job which stresses my back. Hope you get some benefit man!

As mentioned, I'd go for an Indica dominant strain, specifically a Kush which tend to have good medicinal and pain relieving effects.

Hi, thanks loads for the info. So far I've been avoiding anything known for making you sleepy as already have chronic fatigue. Have I been wrong for doing that? Most people so far have suggested Indica strains. How big a difference is there between Sativa and Indica in terms of how sleepy you get?

I'd say that Indica doms in general will tend to make you more sleepy and sativa is more geared towards daytime smoking when you can still function. So you're probably best off with a 50/50 (or thereabouts) hybrid so you still get the strength and pain relief of an Indica, but something that doesn't knock you out completely.
Maybe try and find something like a White Widow. She's a strong hybrid but is also known for being a more lively stone rather than a couch lock knockout. Strong but not sleepy.

Hi , I’ve similar going on too , tbh I’ve found this site a lifeline since I found it a year ago , I’ve sampled many strains for pain relief , mental health as well as I just want that stoned feeling to help get thru days sometimes , not be up against pain 24/7.
I swap about a lot as I can’t settle on one consistent strain (prob need a tolerance break but can’t deal with it just now lol ;)

Talk to Franks Cinderella - both are very smooth effects & accurate listings , help with pain, chill, inspire and help me meditate to help with pain and get in the reiki zone too .

Hi, thanks for the advice, I have some of Talk to Franks Cinderella and it's helped a lot. I also really like Headband for when I get migraines. This site has really helped me reduce my opiate use and has helped me to get out and about more often, which obviously really helps with the old mental health.

Dawgs for me are great for all round well being they lift the mind and hug the body. You'll probably have already had stardawg no doubt but if not give it a try because even though some people get snobby about it it's a very dependable and consistent strain in my experience! - RB's stardawg is my go to but there's loads of dawgs on lb to experiment with! :)
Hi, I haven't tried stardawg but I'll put it on the list. I haven't smoked weed since I was a teenager, but that was over 25 years ago, and damn things have moved on.

That's really generous of you, thank you. I was actually looking at that the other day. I'm keen to give it a try.
I would say White Dawg for pain and relaxation. A nice sativa for the daytime. If you are a bi-polar bear, I would suggest balancing your Indicas and Sativas accordingly. Depression can sometimes create more sleeplessness than the 'ups', if you're that sort of bear. Personally speaking, White Dawg / Purple Dawg for pain / relaxation and Mimosa / Haze / Ammo strains for depression, motivation and exercise (which will help the depression even more). Hope this helps!
Thanks very much for the advice. Unfortunately due to my ME/CFS even light exercise can cause me extreme pain and illness. It's a cruel thing but the advice for coping with ME/CFS is often the opposite of the advice for coping with depression.

I suffer from the same sort or problems. Any strain that is indica or Indica dominant will work really well for the above. Sativa strains cant deliver that relief that melt away the pain like a good old sadative Indica. If the seller dosent specify what the indica/sativa ratio is then i search the web for (FLOWER NAME- strain review) Sites like Leafy and allbud will give details on the indica/sativa ratio and the effects, ie pain relief.

I hear you there, shame our medical proffesionals are wrongly educated on our beloved medicenal plant cannabis. But are willing to hand out highly addictive opiates which kill more people than they help, they dont relief pain as good as cannabis and mess you right up. you can try a sativa for they day time like monwohmon suggested but you sound like your in as much pain as I am and they dont touch the pain for me.

High Sativa for daytime use as you can still function whilst taking that, and a high Indica strain for night time! Also, you have a lot to deal with, I hope you have a therapist you can also see 💗 I was mentally up shit creek a few years ago, I mean in a really really bad way and therapy saved me. Can I ask how your fibromyalgia was ultimately diagnosed please? I’m going via the NHS at the moment and it’s a real challenge to get an official diagnosis. I have been shunted off for physio as my blood tests didn’t show signs of inflammation etc, when actually stretching and bending is too painful due to the stiffness in my spine/joints. I’ve been in discomfort for over 30 years now!
I was diagnosed some years ago with cervical spondylosis and also had a lumbar spinal fusion. Clearly my back is fucked, and I’ll just have to rely on edibles for a pain outlet. Seems traditional medicine doesn’t help me.
Any advice/insight you can offer on fibromyalgia I’d be very grateful.

Hi, I almost ashamed to admit that for me the diagnosis was really easy. I told my doctor my symptoms and was diagnosed job done. Maybe try another doctor.
I'm on Gabapentin and that has taken the edges off the pain, I also have 30mg Co-Codamol for the worst days. These combined with vaping weed keep me comfortable for at least most of the day. For me personally the fatigue has been the most debilitating and treatment resistant symptom.
There's a lot of alternative medicine snake oil salesmen ready to sell you expensive placeboes when it comes to any chronic conditions. But for me Gabapentin + weed+ occasional co-codamol seems the best option.

I'm in the same boat (apart from fibromyalgia) and what I do is get distillate and mix in the terpenes for either Bubba Kush or Grand Daddy Purp (both heavy indicas) and that really helps me, especially with keeping the PTSD night terrors away. Obviously ymmv, though it's always worth a shot! Those two strains are my all time favourites because they help me out medicinally so well!
PTST Night terrors can be sorted and proper sleep every night. Distillate is plain. You need full spectrum. Hit me a private message and I'll send you a sample that will sort you out from word 'go'

Bloods/urine up to 3 months depending on how heavy a smoker you are as it is stored in your body fats and if you have to have a hair test will show a full timeline of everything you took for as long as that hair has grown. Luckily these tests are much more expensive and require a lab to test it.

That’s lucky, the negative part anyway. The test is they want to see if you are high, not if you have it in your blood. Same happened to me, apart from I got cautioned for possession. That was a near miss though so be happy;)
I got cautioned too, had a couple of gms in my pocket left over from work I didn't know was even there. I also told him I had a joint after the accident as soon as he tested me so at least I could say I wasn't drug driving. Should of just kept my mouth shut and all would of been OK haha

Edibles should be AMAZING (if done right), maybe a mixture of edibles and tinctures would suit you as you would get a nice clean high and an added kick :)

I did see a documentary a while back (cant remember which, sry) where people with lung conditions where juicing cannabis leaves and drinking them every morning, they stated that it had helped with breathing and had helped them to get of there assmath medication. Not the same but worth looking into.
Cannabis will dilate your airways, where tobaco constricts them, this is why smoking tobaco with weed is really bad as your opening up your airways and plugging up with tobaco tar and other shite.

I got some of the drops from MJConcentrates and can definitely confirm they get you high. I have a low tolerance so even one drop spaces me out. Three got me properly baked. They aren’t cheap but they definitely pack a punch.
