Gillybop's Golden Teacher (Shrooms) Review!
First things first, huge shoutout to Gillybop for the amazing service. Not only did he answer all of my questions, he genuinely put my mind at ease and I actually had some really great conversations with him. I have taken psychadelics a fair few times now but I've only done mushies and truffles a handful of times and had never tried the Golden Teachers so I was excited to say the least.
I was advised to take around 2g so I decided to go with 2.5g (I took a further 0.5g about 2 hours in just to keep the party going lol). First off the taste, the shrooms looked a bit mad so I was expecting a horrible taste (I also hate mushrooms in general) but to my suprise they were actually fine. Grown and dried perfectly and if I had to put a taste on them, I would say they tasted like the shells that hold the peanuts that you used to get as a kid on Halloween lol.
Credit where credit is due the order was actually slightly over so me and two friends had 3g each over the course of the night. Now for the good part, what they actually did!
Like most good things, you feel it in your toes first! Personally after 20minutes I just had a rush of energy flowing through my legs and couldn't wait to stand up and walk around the back garden lol. I accompanied this trip with some lovely Pink Kush from TGT just to send me a little deeper along the ride, really perfect strain for the situation at hand.
30-40minutes in me and my two mates were in a complete state of giggles. Genuinely cackling like a bunch of hyena's for a solid hour with a few breaks in between. Haven't laughed and had a release like that in so long so it was a fantastic experience and really put me in good spirits.
As the effects got a little stronger I began to see some visuals. Nothing too mad just some cool shapes / colours and fractals. If if I had to characterize the shrooms high / buzz I would say it doesn't have insane visuals but the mood elevation and overall body vibe is just on another level.
About an hour and a half in we took a walk down to a bench in our local waterway. Sat there for nearly two hours just feeling blissful and having a nice smoke and conversation with friends, a genuine bonding experience that we all enjoyed.
When we went back to the house the effects last another hour maybe 2 and we winded down by listening to some Pink Floyd and it was an absolutely perfect end to a great trip (Comfortably Numb will forever by my favourite song on drugs - the shrooms just re-confirmed it.)
I cannot thank GB for sending me these little beauties and if they ever pop up again I will be the first one waiting in line. Absolutely top guy with amazing comms and and even better product.
Anybody who had the chance to sample these i'd love to hear your experience but trips can be personal so I understand if nobody shares.

definitely a body high, but i felt like if i focused enough i could force hallucinations and it definitely worked.
i bought 6 grams with a friend, and probably only took 1g (myself) in total as ive only done shrooms two or three times in 15 years. it was the perfect amount for me.

I know what you mean, I was out the back on a swing chair and as I was staring at the branches the were turning into snake-like things, it was pretty cool lol. Thanks for the great review my friend, and so hapy you had a great time with your mates. The shrooms are fine bed fellows with weed, I actually looked at one of my plants in full flower while on the shrooms and I was entranced, they are supposed to go together.

Was just curious if there would be any interest in colonized substrates or spawn bags, from which one is able to grow shrooms at home.
I'm currently just colonizing a 45 ltr tub, happened to check online and a tiny plastic tub the size you would get from a takeaway, already colonized and ready to fruit is $35 bucks + delivery. I could do them for far less to the UK if there was a market.

So, I've got a few tubs on the go, and would be willing to send one to someone as a freebie, just to test viability for posting in future, as well as what sort of success can be achieved, the tubs actually have a couple of tiny shrooms developing, so they will grow.

Hey, yeah they have grown well, picked a few that had broken the veil last night and ate them raw, circa 25 Grams. Was a lovely experience, beautiful waves of energy flowing through me, but when I went to bed and stuck some music on (The Doors) things really came to life, I marvelled at how something I've grown could create such an amazing experience. At one point the muscles in my ass cheeks were twitching in time to the beat of the music, madness.
Definitely a market for these I’d try them in an instant. DM away bro I’d happily give a honest review. Either way I want to try them lol. Got well over 100 trip experience. Though smee seems like the master.

Yeah, whole grain cased cakes, wanted to give it a try, had spare grains and plenty little round tubs, but couldn't be arsed running out for another mono to bulk spawn. So stuck them in there with some coir, was hoping the added surface areas would maybe be fruitful. And it's looking like it could be a decent alternative.

There's definitely a market for shroom kits and cured shrooms on here. I would be first in line to buy multiples.
Cured shrooms by far the easiest to get to folk, but nothing better than getting a few flushes yourself for the same price, or more likely cheaper than 7G of dried.
I'll have a look into it over the next couple of weeks and see what I could do to offer folk a cheap way to get a decent amount of product for less $.

I started off with a spore vial, colonized literally a shit ton of grain, also ran some BRF cakes, which work great but dont get the big time numbers that a bulk tub does. Grain bags are good as they can keep for months in a cool dark place without pinning, to use whenever you want, and they are huge bags, one bag enough to colonise a full 45 ltr mono with coir and verm.
Can also cut the bag open soak the grains overnight while you pasteurise some coir to case the grains after draining and boom boom...cubes dont even need cased, they’ll pin and grow straight from grain
I tried to grow some of these after buying a spore syringe just before xmas as a little blast from the past - some weird ass looking things grew out of that grow kit and I didn't dare take them! haha

Slow burner due to complication of story, but it is relatable as the war on drugs does not have a start or end to it, and street dealing doesn't just start, therefore you are immediately immersed in the story without even realising. Only figured that out the second time watching it. Also some great visual metaphors throughout. Also note there is no cue music to instigate feelings. All music is from source, i.e. car radio, night club. Only cue music is when Avon enters the lowrisers for the first time
The Ozark - Although breaking bad is good, it's not worth the hype. This is the older cooler brother of breaking bad. Calculated and intense at times. Story is always moving forward with real character progression
Altered Carbon - Absolutely fantastic sci-fi with great visuals and a great story line. Really left me itching to read the book, and I'm not a sci-fi fan
Arrested Development - Intelligent comedy with so much layered jokes you can watch this five times and still find punch lines you never noticed before
People Just Do Nothing - Threw this on not expecting much which is perhaps why I found it to be so good. Off the wall characters made completely believable by the actors playing the parts. Excellent idea, excellent execution.
Peep Show - This is a classic, you need to watch this

Dark on Netflix. German show about time travel set in a village where kids keep going missing every 33 years. Stunning production values, really intricately plotted, three series, all ties together. Loved it. Has an English dub but the German audio with subtitles is best.
End of the fucking world is really good. Strange and offbeat which I like. With some characters that don’t give a fuck. And it’s British and very relatable (even though it’s about a lad that thinks he’s a psychopath haha).

Yeah I agree, I liked BB a lot but I came to it a bit late and like UKgrower hearing the hype maybe expected too much. Better call Saul I didn’t expect much of at all, didn’t think it’d get past Series 1 but now I think it’s better than BB.
If you enjoyed Breaking Bad, then give Better Call Saul a go. I always thought he stole every scene he was in during Breaking Bad.

yes, they will all help make it worse. on the bright side, since everybody started typing on their phones, dyslexia is hardly noticeable anymore and you really don't have to apologise.
Gomorrah if you dont mind subtitles, its an Italian crime show set in Naples. Simply brilliant.

Yean Gomorrah is probably my number 1 show, the setting, actors, story... superb. Cant wait to watch the Ciro Di Marzio movie too.

Yo UK Grower. I have just discovered Channel Zero on StarZplay, prime add on. It’s a really good horror series, twisted stuff, defo a bit freaky.
To any one who likes comedies don't be put off What We Do in the Shadows, it's vampires but it's not really a "vampire" type show.... it's really funny when high and the second series has just come out on iplayer.
If you're into Sci-fi I'd highly recommend Altered Carbon on Netflix. Really cool story and visuals. I seen somebody recommended Ozark, excellent as well. If you like animation and feel like a laugh give Rick and Morty a watch, The Midnight Gospel is also new to Netflix but really trippy / funny in my opinion. Happy watching!
I almost pissed myself with laughter watching the first episode as I watched the trailer but wasn't really for how out there this really is. A must watch for any sci fi and gaming fan or if you have a sick sense of humour like me :)
Stranger Things Season 1 - 80's themed sci-fi thriller with endearing characters that had me on the edge of my seat throughout.
True Detective Season 1 - Basically an 8 hour movie that oozes quality. Pacing/cinematography/acting/dialogue are all A++ for me.

Since it hasnโt been mentioned here , it only proves how massively underrated Wilfred is . Had great laughs :) U.S. version of an Australian cult sitcom about a meek young man and a pot-smoking talking dog named Wilfred (actually actor Jason Gann in a dog suit, whom everyone else sees as just a dog). Wonโt spoilt it anymore
Watching Yellowjackets at the moment, pretty good but if you watch the pilot episode donโt be put off as thatโs a bit shit, it does get better!

just call Saul was better than breaking bad in some ways (last series a bit disappointing tho). Always interested to see if people liked the Midnight Gospel (single series, animation, also Netflix).
If you liked Breaking Bad you might like Better Call Saul... it's slower but the writing and cinematography are actually better imo. Plus by S5 the pace is basically on BB levels.

If no one has said it yet, Banshee. A pro thief / seriously tough guy played by Anthony Starr ( Homelander from the boys) rolls into town, assumes the identity of a recently deceased new Sheriff that no one has met yet. Boom, he's now the law in town and is actually very good at stopping crime. Insane realistic violence, Amish gangsters, bikers, native American mafia and lots more, best show I've ever seen

Fargo is probably the best series ever after GOT. Better Call Saul was brilliant too after a slow start. Better than Breaking Bad for me.
All the seasons are good and different stories so don't need to watch in order. All true apparently. The movie's a bit dated now but a great watch too.

Murder Mountain on Netflix. An oldie but a goodie. All about the emerald triangle in California and how it moved from illegal weed growing into legalisation and the lawless nature of the industry.
Often overlooked, but Mike Judge of Beavis and Butthead fame created this absolute gem....highly reccomend...as smart as it is funny...

I never thought I'd see someone mention The Platform. Great film if you've got your stone on! Alice in Borderland is brilliant also it's like a mash-up of The Prisoner and Battle Royale.

New British comedy horror on prime with Simon Pegg and nick frost, only a short one but was enjoyable, there’s this once scene when nick frost thinks he is about to get shanked and it’s hilarious.

Succession is better than you'd think. Punisher is the best out of all the Marvel shows, Daredevil is also very watchable (and Jessica Jones if you're into angry women with PTSD). Umbrella Academy is fun to watch. The Magicians ditto. Also The Boys.

Have you played the new Shenmue? Shenmue 3 I think? I played a load of the original on Dreamcast back in the day and bought the remastered version for PS4 that had 1&2 on it (wasn't as good as I remembered) intresting to know if 3 is any good.
Old School- I used to love the original Silent Hill on Playstation, thought that was a really clever game. Also MYST.
Silent hill for sure, was Syked for new one coming out with Kojima onboard but alas, it wasn’t to be
Loads of rumors about a reboot for the series but I'm not sure I even want it if Yamaoka isn't onboard. Kojima's take would've been interesting, though. Shame we never got more than a demo.
I assume this is an old post but if you havenโt already check out The Callisto Protocol!!! From the creators of dead space, looks like top tier sci fi horror and is set for release at the end of 2022 (although will probably be delayed until next year, you know how these things go lol)
Bloody loved Silent Hill. Creepy AF. Used the machine's limitations really well by clouding the streets with an eerie fog. I still recall hearing the footsteps of those fucked-up things but not be able to see them. Remember the cut-away sequence when the nurse staggered towards you?
100% the witcher. Managed to get every gwent card aswell even when you could very easily miss a few card through wrong decisions.
Wow! I totally forgot about LSL. I bloody loved all the Sierra adventure games when I was but a young lad.
For me Heavy Rain really stands out, also Shenmue 2 and LA Noir, all so far ahead of their time.
Yeah, it's amazing. So atmospheric. Only problem was, it was supposed to be a two or three part dlc but the creator gave up on it after the first one so it never got finished. As far as I know he gave up on making video games after that. If you can get hold of the first part tho, I'd highly recommend it

Metal Gear Solid on the PSone blew my mind, the other MGS got a bit preachy but the PSone version had everything, great game play, great stelf sections, good action sequences etc etc I still think about the bit where Psycho Mantis moves your controller, freaked me out.
GTA 4, more recently Red Dead Redemption 2 and The Last of us was also pretty epic, I’m looking forward to part 2.
Bioshock 1 was drippingly beautiful and draws you in. Dark room, good thumping surround sound cranked up, roll a few fattys. Great replay capability with the good or bad decisions and the array of different weapons and potions. One of the finest pieces of electronic entertainment to this day, including films.

Metro Exodus is pretty intense. I agree, Bioshock Infinite was pretty awesome. Saying that Bioshock 1+2 were pretty raw. Best plot ever, though? Has to be 'The Secret of Monkey Island 2'.
Like many others, 'last of us' will always stay in the mind and I'm eager to play no2.

I started playing โDays goneโ when it came out on free to play. I wouldโve paid for it if Iโd have known it was that good! Iโm hooked and I never thought I would be.
Max Payne 2: Fall of Max Payne - I like that noiresque atmosphere, the music, the over the top melancholic atmosphere... It harmonised well with my mood back then...
This^ elder scrolls by far the most immersive games. Skyrim is over 10 years old and is still un matched, probably never will be. Well over 100 hours game play or unlimited hours if you don't bother with main quest lines.

Xenoblade Chronicles for me. I love good RPGs and this story was kinda unique and on top of that the Gameplay was really fun too. Sadly the follow up Games were kinda meh...
Got to be final fantasy 9 I remember playing it as a 10 yr old and was super emotional lol

Metal Gear Solid Series was excellent. Loved God of wars. First Bioshock was awesome. Assassins creed Odyssey was decent enough!
It got shit on constantly but I fucking LOVED Destiny 1 and 2. The story was meh, but the game itself ran so smoothly and in my opinion was one of the best FPS games to come out in years. I did stop playing a few months back though because I just had nothing left to do in it.

D1 and d2 played well but they would, its a bungie shooter. But they felt hollow which is a shame considering the hipe before 1. The lore is really good tho if you can peice it together. But it should be in the game more. D1 tied me over quite nicely between borderlands 2 and 3 lol and I met some awesome people playing it

I got hooked on the Sierra adventure games back in the early 90's. That led me on to the epic Broken Sword series by Revolution. Still worth checking out for its humour and storyline. Point and click has never been such fun.

I have many different types of shrooms growing in my local fields, wales...Can anyone identify the mushrooms in this image? All grew within close proximity of each other, hard to spot on grass...thanks...

Interesting, I had the same-looking little guys growing on my lawn about a week after i fertilised it with (IIRC) Evergreen lawn feed and seed. Maybe some spore contamination in the fertiliser as have never had shrooms growing on my lawn this time of year before. Did you returf or seed?
Are you looking magic mushrooms? Normally grow around Sept time and have a little nipple at the top, we'll in my area (NI). Remember my first pick and wasn't sure really what I had in those days. Started tripping and sweating wondering if I had the right ones. Good rush :)

They are brown mottlegills, or a mowers mushroom as we call it in the gardening trade. They are very common, most common in meadow turf, ie if you lay a new lawn if will be full of these little buggers by august. I checked these out years ago due to my profession. No good. Hope it helps

Hi folks, I recently purchased a PAX 3 dry herb vaporizer, it also works with concentrates (thin mint shatter already purchased from MJ) so thought In would drop a quick review. Been using it for two days only, so this is initial impressions, and I'll update after I've lived with it for a bit.
First off it's a lovely little weighty unit, feels well made and sturdy, components all feel solid and well made. As far as using it is concerned it's very straight forward, press it on, wait until it heats up (light on the front indicate when it's heating and when it's easy). If you download then app you can choose a range of smoking options, economic, flavor, standard, stealth mode etc that all heat at a range of temps depending on what you want to get out of it.
It's easy to pack the herb in, absolutely straight forward, the cover fits securely. You need to pack it in fighter than feels right, tight enough that it doesn't fall out when turned upside down.
I started on flavor setting, which heats it to around 230°c, flavor was incredible, like how you imagine it will taste when you smell it, but obviously when we set our herbs on fire it kills a lot of the flavor, the PAX releases the flavor into your mouth.
I took a few decent Tokes, surprised at how little smoke occurs, so I was concerned I was using it wrong, but a few mins later I got my reward. The stone is different from a bong (I don't do tobacco so can't comment on a joint), whereas I feel a bong gets a heavy stone, the PAX gives you a lovely calming relaxing and longer lasting stone I feel.....but I guess this result may vary from person to person.
When I felt that the herb had ran it's course I pumped the temp up to high and it started smoking again, slightly harsher smoke compared to the flavor mode, but this allows you to squeeze the goodness out of all the bud.
When it's done you knock it out and a dry little block of what smells like lovely toasty decarbed weed. I'm told you could actually smoke this and get a bump if you put it in a bong or whatever, so I'm going to keep the waste and give it a blast to see if that's true, will keep it for the next time I'm Dankrupt.
It cost me £219, which compared to a few quid for a bong then it's absolutely ludicrous, however I put enough weed in for probably 3 bongs and me and the wife toked away on it many times last night, so it definitely gets the most out of your weed, and if the Dankrupt tip is legit then it just makes it even better.
So far I'm happy with the purchase, especially as we have family coming over for dinner on Sunday and stealth is the order of the day. The price is a bitveye watering, but you can get it for much less if you don't choose the full package, I think it's about £160ish for just the standard pack, but you wouldn't be able to use concentrates.
Hope this gives anyone considering diving in a wee bit more food for thought.

Pax Labs are a great company. I bought the Pax 2 around 5 years ago and it recently broke. They honoured their 10 year warranty (which I hope you got) and sent me a brand new replacement Pax 2. I don't know if the Pax 3 has this but the Pax 2 has a memory game that you can access if you spin the device around a number of times. I got to level 20 on mine and ever since then it plays the funky town tune when I turn it on, LOL. They definitely know their demographic.
I also have a Pax 3 (in this colour, too) and I like it. I bought it for the concentrate option...but am yet to buy a concentrate oven piece. I find it very smooth, even on the "boost" mode, but have connectivity issues with the app, every 5th use (ish). As a discreet herb vape, you really cannot go wrong. Looks just like most upper cost e liquid mods (larger and bulkier than ecigs). Let me know how you get on with the shatter!

Mine came with the oven which I've since had to replace as the old one started to warp. The replacement oven cost £40 on Amazon which was a bit of a shock. I don't think it is PAX either. That aside though it's a superb vaporizer. I'm using it for a Moroccan black just now. Hits heavy at 200°c
dont smoke abv eat it lol :D congratz on purchase, personally didn't like pax, had a second one, but deffo alright vape just too pricey, some vapes for 80-100 quid performs same, not mentioning dynavap one of my favs lol but its torch powered so not suit for everybody. get yourself loading caps will keep device cleaner for longer

I used to use mycelium until recently. Im now finding around 10% of my balance is unspendable, unless i send at the very lowest priority...taking a full week to obtain confirmations. I'm playing with new wallets now, and am using OWNR at the moment. Its okayyy. Not exactly what I'm looking for, but it works. I'd love to resolve the issue with mycelium.

Cheers WHL! Apparently you can get arouns 350g off of the kit I got in total over the course of a few weeks. By the looks of things my next harvest will be around 100g (wet) too. I teied 1g dried last week to test the potency, they were great lol. Gonna take a good dose tonight with a mate and see what happens haha.

Hey Magic, it was a 1200ml container, identical to one you might get from a Chinese if you ordered a curry. I actually just bought the kit and all I had to do was get the temperature/humidity and misting right and be patient. Very similar to what you're selling. I'm interested in doing an SGFC with BRF Tek cakes. For right now the little kit is working a treat. Took about a week or so before I saw proper pinheads and roughly 5/6days after that I was plucking my first batch of beauties :D I would recommend these kind of kits ti anybody who wants to have a go off growing. Very straight forward and pretty satisfying lol

That is a much better size that would produce a better harvest than mine I think. The hard part is setting up and getting your cake inoculated so I have to tip my hat to what you are doing here. I think this is a fantastic way to get into mycology and actually see it first hand as it is happening.

I occasionally grow my own weed plants in order to make smoking weed economically viable, I have a couple growing, old skool diesel auto, a Lemon Kush and Blue Gelato fems. Now, one of them toppled over in their pot, the lemon kush, and the shock seemst to ave fucked it up. Still in veg lighting, but flowering, it's size is hilarious considering it's circa 7 weeks old.
I was curious if anyone has ever grown a smaller fully flowering weed plant.
