It looks like an obvious return, but if you look at the cards shown during the tournament it's not so clear. There were no games in the round of 16 with 4 cards shown, and only 2 games in the group stages that would have won that bet. 4 cards in a game is quite rare in lasses football. Good luck 👍🏻

Been researching moving to Thailand. Visa’s ain’t too difficult. Need about 6 of us. Rent a villa with a pool. I’m thinking island of Koh Samui. Fresh fish everyday, paradise on the doorstep, snorkelling 🤿 diving…getting stoned on the beach sipping a cocktails from a coconut.

I've spent a lot of time in Thailand and thought of moving out there a few times. The closest I got was 6 months.
Personally I'd always go for an island like Koh Chang over Samui. They've basically ruined KS with too much tourism and not enough infrastructure. At one stage they had to close the island as it was literally bursting at the seems with sewage and rubbish. Real shame.
If you're going to operate a business you have to understand you won't own it, certainly not outright. As a farang (foreigner) you can only own 49% of a company max. The other 51% must be owned by a Thai citizen. There are a few ways around this but as with everything in Thailand, it comes at a cost.
My main reason for not moving there though is the lawlessness. The hospitals are OK, it's fairly clean etc etc, but if the shit hits the fan and you need the Police you'd better either get your wallet out and expect to pay a shed load for even basic protection, or they simply won't turn up at all.
What people don't realise is there are a few families that basically run everything in Thailand, including the law. If they want to take your business they will, and then pop you on a plane back home.
Plus I'd wait until the political dust settles before relying on cannabis being available to foreigners for much longer (see link above).

I spent around 3 years in Se Asia at least half of that in Thailand , fantastic place Thais are lovely and at least the corruption is out in the open rather than behind closed doors by upper class twats!
One tip I would give is learn as much Thai as you can and try your best to speak it , Thais love you trying. Steer clear of tourist places unless you like Mc Donald’s and Starbucks, very easy to go to non touristy places I’ve heard good things about the islands just below Burma still back packer vibes and chilled people no roads or Starbucks! I was lucky enough to visit some islands before they had electricity and all buildings were shacks ! Great memories ! As the Thais say “chock dee!” And happy travels!

Good for you. Would recommend anyone moving abroad or trying things out in life. Done it myself and only grows you as a person, gives you genuine life experience. Hope you get it done

Mate I spent over 3 years in SE Asia with Id say around half in Thailand , I was lucky enough to have a friend teaching English and a friend who opened a guesthouse. I always had somewhere to stay, Thais are lovely people and it’s no more corrupt than anywhere else good thing is it’s out in the open there. I sorely miss Thailand and still have a few Thais I’m friends with. One tip I would say is learn Thai it gets you a long way! Chok dee and happy travels

I've been drinking pale ale only in moderate quantities for the last few months.
Anything stronger after a few hours smoking and drinking and it is nearly always a guaranteed blackout.
It's getting worse with age too - as in more frequent.
This is a hard drug: alcohol is addictive.

I drink every day and have a long complex but highly positive relationship with booze that I wouldn’t bore you with but totally agree that binge drinking has an expiry date that all drinkers must face.
It’s a new chapter for you and that’s always exciting. It’s going to be really positive and when you can look back on the good times and forgive yourself for the bad then you know you’ve made it.

I've gradually lost interest in drinking over the years,Never set out to knock it on the head i've just drifted away from it to the point that i go months without a drink now.Can't say i miss it at all and probably the only times i drink now is a couple of pints of god awful overpriced beer at a gig which hardly makes me want more.Good luck with it.

I really hope you do friend, I recently lost my best mate he was aged 37. He had a heart attack that was related to heavy drinking for many years. I never got into drink as weed and alcohol don't mix well for me, I always preferred being high.
By the time he died, he was barely recognisable as a person anymore. Such a shame cause he was a great man, just trying to drown away a traumatic past.

Let me tell you the 2 things that has stopped me drinking for good. It was hard until I learnt this.
1) the more you drink past a point, you will suffer nausea more. However your tolerance may get stronger meaning the drinks not hitting.
2) you are never steady. There is no actual benefit to not being physically steady, to compensate for any emotionally charged drinking experience to occur

Their album with that track on is great! I’ve got a copy and played it recently. They were pretty under rated and took loads of aggressive flak from some in the Hip Hop community for being ‘lightweight’ and too poppy.
Hypocritical really as De La Soul, UMCs, Ugly Duckling and quite a few others ploughed a similar path. It’s a sad tale as the main guy died some years ago, I think the duo were brothers…timeless tune and the album is a hidden gem.

There was loads of poppy old school hip hop which was brilliant and timeless, especially as you say by the likes of De La Soul!

Chatted to BudB just before he went offline, he was moving house and from my experience that can often mean the end of growing. Even if you think you have the space, one arsey neighbour, or finding out after you've bought the place that there's a copper living over the road....etc etc can often mean you have to quit.
It's happened to a few people i know. The guy i learned to grow from quit when his other half got pregnant and they moved somewhere bigger, which is totally fair enough.
Shame as BudB was a good guy, and a good grower. Hopefully he'll be back one day.

what was your favourite strain you ever grow? I used to grow from seeds but when I try clones they like game changers, with clones you saving lots of time. I grow zowahh from karma genetic from clones and those plants been growing like crazy.
I haven't tried every grower on here, nor have i chatted to all of them, but i can say that Druids Magic are very good people and having chatted to them numerous times since their arrival on here, i can guarantee they know what they are doing.
I've seen a few sellers who seem to masquerade as growers but really have no idea.... DM is not one of these.
They're genuine artisans.
They've got some bangers coming up for Christmas too, but i won't ruin the surprise. ;)

All versions of Christianity ignore some parts of the bible because it's not popular. The Bible says not to wear two different types of fabric at once, and to sell your daughter to her rapist, but no Christians are abiding by that. Inevitably anything you do on drink ends up with you either feeling embarrsed or in some cases, ashamed the next day lol. The drunker you are the worse decisions you make and stupidity overtakes any creativity. On the other hand on weed, sometimes i can be too wasted, locked to the couch to do anything, but, if im in he middle of something that requires tunnel vision type focus, and i have the right weed, i have had some very productive days/ late nights on the weed...im a coder by the way

I find certain strains great for creativity- especially blue cheese, wedding cake and fat banana! It’s weird though... I am a reasonably creative person but I have ADHD and cognitive dyslexia, so I have tonnes of ideas flitting in and out of my head all the time, but rarely write them down because I’m doing doing like 20 things. Weed seems to slow things down enough for me to focus on one idea so I can work on it.
Alcohol just gives me a huge red bumpy rash on my face and elbows (weird I know), makes me feel ill instantly, and then I just fall asleep.

100% agree, Alcohol has only even damaged lives, dampens your conscisous and numbs. Psychedelics on the other hand, opens your mind, connects us with the universe and encourages us to work on ourselves for the better. Our LSD and weed journeys have only ever encouraged us to open our hearts and mind, highlighing our common values and a drive to work together for a better world :-)

Ignore this if you’ve already tried it, but have you tried some of the stronger sativa strains? They can make you super productive and creative at the same time. My faves for this are blue cheese and wedding cake. I haven’t tried loads of strains but of the ones I have tried- these seem to work best (for me anyway!) Happy New Yurrr

Speaking for myself. Cannabinoids and ethanol can achieve more psychedelic effects together than each on their own. It's truly amazing, how trippy it can get, as far as not too much alcohol is taken. Ideally have a beer or little wine, but no shots.
Shorts rather than shots….finest tequila (100% agave) sipped with weed takes me to a very good place😻🤩

I smoke to get stoned but I usually don’t drink to get drunk and I think that’s the difference. Drinking great quality booze in reasonable quantities with convivial company can easily be more creative than some of the daft bolloxsh I come out with when I’m high 😂

Since i start smoking and found out about LB instead of the cops knocking the door i have the RM guy who also smiles at me. Alchool is out of my life now. Smoking for me works for almost everything creativity , studying, chilling and going to sleep.

sometimes i like to just pop on an album that takes me to another world. two most recent arctic monkeys albums are great for it, i feel like i'm floating through the galaxy whenever i listen to
DJ Shadow’s Endtroducing for me. One of the few multi format albums I own that I’ve had to replace several times cos I’ve worn it out. Freaks me out that it’s nearly 30 years old, it blew my mind then and it still does now. A masterpiece of a sonic journey.
I drove 400 miles to see him DJ. Got realy high then kinda drive home 400 miles. The good old days of 1996.
I second both of these choices. I came here to say the 2nd as clearly the thread title leads anyone who knows the album to think of it. Saw them play it live about 20 years ago, and they were superb.

The original Dreamfish album was amazing back in the day. I remember getting a cassette tape copy from a guy at school and listening to it on headphones after a spliff which blew my mind. Got the CD off eBay years later and it's still good for an ambient chillout option.

I recently moved and have an issue with parcels “disappearing”, would it be safe/smart for me to get fairly small amounts of bud (8ths to 2 Oz) delivered to the Post Office, and are there any precautions I can take?
Post Restante is one of the oldest global post systems there is and certainly operates in the UK- I’m surprised more people don’t use it.
Only use vendors with great stealth and order small (no I wouldn’t risk ounces!) and don’t always use the same post office.

Turning up to collect the parcel erodes this plausible deniability away a bit IMHO. That said, I agree that good stealth + small amounts will make it look enough like any other parcel that it will probably be fine / nobody will care.

Dinner is midday, tea is evening - proof that I'm not 'posh' and anyone saying different is 😂. And it's clearly a 'cob'! After living all over I finally moved back 20 miles away from where I grew up - and get nothing but blank stares when asking for a 'cob'! 🤷♂️😂. Round here, excessive perspiration is known as 'sweating cobs'! Do you posh types sweat baps or rolls? Or, like Prince Andrew, do you not sweat at all?!!! 😉😂. And, btw, tea last night was a homemade vegetarian jambalaya, with Gorilla Glue and Berry Burst for afters! Cheers 👍

I’ve heard Irish customs are quite tight so every time I’ve had to post to Ireland I’ve done the stealth to the best of my ability. But I have a question for all my Irish biggies, what is the best way in your opinion to post in terms of stealth and type of delivery etc. to maximise the probability of the parcel landing. I haven’t had a parcel seized yet and I want to avoid it by any means. If anyone from Ireland wants to order feel free, if anything does happen I offer reship or 50% refund one time.
EVRI delivery is best for us. And obv allow us to order some of us don’t have a 10 count, thanks

Yeah its tricky getting through but there's a decent sized market there ripe for plundering if ye get the postage issue sorted. We have a couple of vendors here who mainly sell bud but i prefer the hash. Have a good one.

Any orders made after Friday 3pm can be dispatched by Saturday 1pm. This option costs $15 otherwise your order will be dispatched Monday afternoon as per usual. Also, upon request I have now added signed and non-signed first class postage options.

Tried to purchase some Bitcoin today and each time it won’t complete the order. I get an email mail saying transaction cancelled. I’ve used this loads and never had an issue. Even tried with another card for payment. Any ideas? 😩

I used my revolut when I started buying here. Limits me to 5 addresses or sends it something and I moved to Coinbase. Never had an issue until now. They said it’s on their end and working to resolve. As mentioned already. Pain in the ass!

That's what I'm thinking, they're clamping down on crypto everywhere. Either the uk bank is rejecting the crypto buy due to tightening regulations, or coinbase is doing it. Lots of worrying posts from biggaz over the last months about c-base tightening up, soon gonna need physical addresses and names for wallets you send to, and coming looking taxes on all your BTC buys. I've emptied my CB a/c this morning to a kind vendor, and i'm going to spend a day or two looking into other ways as RealD suggests. I'll post back here what I find.

Same here today. I managed a workaround by getting a mate to send me some... but frustrating when you're doing the weekly regular! Hope it's fixed quickly. Blockchain is slow today too.

update later in day: coinbase are syaing it is their problem and have an issue with 3DS - you can track it on coinbase - support - status. They say they have implemented a fix, so could be worth trying again
