Getting a dosage right with shake is always gonna be hit and miss.
Much easier to dose if you use something like distillate, RSO, live or cured resins or rosin. There is then usually less liquid to add to the mixture when you melt shop bought gummies.
I have only made one batch from gelatin and I added potassium sorbate to prevent mould. They are still good 2 months later. You mix 1 teaspoon of potassium sorbate in 3 teaspoons of water then add 1 teaspoon of that mixture to your gummy mix
