Former resident here.
Never been on an official tour, but have been to a couple of farms in the mountains over Chefchauen. They were more than happy to show me around (with a Berber friend) break bread, share the pipe, but they don't have stock for selling it's completely illegal.
I love Morocco and it's people, but I wouldn't trust a drug dealer there any more than I'd trust a drug dealer here.
"Hey come to my friends house in the middle of nowhere, where you can't read any signs or understand any language and have no idea or means to exit if you're uncomfortable"
Nope.
I don't imagine this being anything other than a leftfield tourist trap at best. A variation of the one day carpet sale.
If you're well connected in downtown Tangier a bag of kif the size of a walnut is about 20 dirhams, closer in texture and strength to a standard sun grown weed put through a good grinder. Rock up in Chefchauen looking like every other tourist and they'll start the bidding at $50.
I would be extremely wary. I stopped buying kif when I went to my regular score and found a man with a possibly fatal head injury KO'd in the cafe doorway. I found a new hookup for hash and used him every other week for 5/6 months before I learned he was police (he was late to meet me and still in uniform).
In short, I wouldn't.
edit: time flies, those prices are probably +50% by now.
