Dopey looks to be one of the most obliging when requesting a tracking number. The response is almost immediate.

Yep makes a lot of sense to me, especially if you are paying extra for the privilege. We always update orders with the tracking reference once an order has been dispatched. Yes it takes a little bit of time, but it's just good customer service. There seems to be a few vendors on here who waffle on about how important customer service is, but then treat their customers as a minor inconvenience.

this is fair, the buyer should be able to ask whats going on and get an answer. i'll be closing up shop if sharing tracking is mandatory though lol. sure, many buyers would like to see exactly where the parcel is and so do i if i buy something on amazon or ebay but LB is not the same. people can have malicious intent for various reasons, and opsec comes before everything

I guess in uk to uk transactions where the wait is on average 2 days maybe 3 tracking is not necessary.
In my case (5/14 days wait) however tracking is essential, not to know where the parcel is at all times, but to know the exact day of delivery, to be at home, sign for it and pay customs fee. really can't stand having to pick up the parcel at the post office. On the other hand I do understand your point Dr, opsec first of all.

at 5 to 14 days it becomes a case of proving that its in transit. are you in ireland?

You can see that info on the package anyway. So that’s not a good reason. Tracking no. is a sign that tne vendor did his part and for the customer ease of mind and convenience. I pick it up myself from the postal office as during the delivery hours i’m at work, and don’t want my kids to be involved in my shenanigans. Cheers!!!

There's no excuse for that kind of poor service. Good Comms is the key.
From a vendor point of view it would be really useful if you could enter stock levels in the system, so that once you have sold out a product would show as unavailable and avoid having to disappoint customers.

Both Kid carti UK and Riley packs have been flawless imo. Comms good on both and delivery from each has been next day every time with the one exception of bank holiday but that happens. Highly recommend!

Radar Breeder and Dr Greenthumb have been solid for me - super super reliable and never have let me down ever.

They both been here a while too so their reps speak for themselves. Pls do note that they both have different cut off times so check this out if you order, like RB’s is 11pm cut off the previous day, in order to be posted the next day. This is prob due to the volume of orders they receive and allows for admin/packing time. I always make sure to get my order in before this time cos I hate running out.

Should also mention that i have only had the delay once when using either of these 2 vendors and that was solely down to RM snail Mail so hope that counts for something.

I also want to add that vendors don’t get your money straight away from a purchase. It sits in escrow for a certain period of time and is protected funds. This allows you to start the dispute process and potentially get refunded where things might go wrong etc.

Cannabis Cannibals has never let me down, always gets it out same day. He only does tracked 24 no special D, but it's normally next day if I order before cutoff off.

My first buy from Magicvapeuk was posted same day, and received next day. Had to pay £6 or so for the rapid post, which was annoying as postage text on seller page just said "!!!!! All orders placed before 11am will be shipped the same day by RM24.", which suggested to me it would be included in the price of what I was buying.

I ship Monday to Friday 8in the morning cut off is a bit annoying I’m aware but I need to make sure I can manage everything

anything ordered at our shop before 3pm will be sent that day arriving the next day we hope to pride our shop on we will do what we say we will, next day delivery Monday to Friday and will post Saturday to aim for a Monday arrival if needed. check us out we don’t have many strains in the shop as just starting but there will be a bunch to come.

And messages will aim to respond within a few hours.

Good vendors keep good comms (suggesting thats only 5% of vendors is silly bollocks) but Biggas are merciless when a thing called 'real life' delays them getting a fast response. How dare vendors have anything more important or pressing than my demand to know why my 1/8th hasn't arrived on Tuesday morning when I ordered over the weekend FFS! Its an outrage!

Good heads up, at least vendors now know who not to accept orders from!

We aren't a one man band, however we only have one set of hands for comms, packaging and sending parcels out. Our other staff members are busy managing F2F business across the UK, so sometimes it may take us an extra day or so to reply to your message as we usually have our hands full 90% of the time.

I feel it isn't hard to keep a customer in the know though. If a customers order is taking too long it takes you 5 minutes to give them a tracking number. I think some vendors may be genuinely busy though, I've had plenty of times where another message / order has come in, and I try and solve both at once and in turn forget the intial reply... 😂

All in all, it is purely dependent on the volumes the vendor is pumping out and the time they have to reply to messages, which is quite a lot of the time, limited. Vendors aren't robots and are humans as well, so do cut them some slack in regards to reply times. However, if the vendors taking the piss, viewing your messages and not responding then I can completely understand how you feel and where you are coming from.

Good vendors keep good comms but I think it’s nuts to expect lightning fast responses, where does that anymore? 24-48 hrs seems cool to me, and I don’t expect any response over the weekend. If you don’t get a reply in a couple of working days and the vendor has been online then I would feel a bit ignored.

Try contact them after 5pm when most post offices close. Hopefully they’ll have time to reply then.

I think it varies from vendor to vendor. Some vendors are teams who have more than one person available to respond, some are working solo so likely have a lot to get through in a day on here and might not have as much time for comms.

I do think good comms is one of the things that makes LB work. I've used other clearnet sites in the past and the comms on LB, not to mention the prices and service, shits on the rest.

If response times are published the problem will disappear.

Basically yeah and when you attempt to enquire as to the whereabouts of your item, they start spouting all kinds of nonsense. I think many of the vendors have confused Next Day DELIVERY with next day Dispatch.

I just placed my second order, with TGT, and after ordering they let you know that for NDD they despatch by NDD the following day. In fact it looks like all orders are posted the following day unless you order by the 9am. Which to be honest seems kinda slow but maybe they physically can't get to the post office after about midday, and they get good reviews so...

Yeah TGT seem to be honest with NDD but numerous people have been waiting weeks for their order with another vendor and they paid for NDD so they mustn't be posting until days after, they cant blame royal mail either.

That's all well and good but I'm left waiting even more so than if they'd just been straight about when they're actually posting items. I think most vendors could stand to be a lot more transparent with their punters

Yeah I do think every vendor needs to have something on their profile that clearly states their cut-off times for despatch. Fortunately the two vendors I've used so far were both clear upfront about their cutoff. Actually, TGTs relatively severe cutoff of 9am (!) is why I didn't order from them for my first order. But at the time I was in urgent need, whereas this time I've ordered ahead of time.

Try not to let the way the postal system works during covid times, ruin your image of LB or the vendors who plug here. The royal mail are experiencing a lot of pressure. That will filter down to people who are sending mail, too! Post offices have very limited opening hours. Mine is only open 7am-9am for the public. As vendors use more than one post office, and usually not near to home, for security reasons, it can only be expected that some days, they fail to meet *royal mails* cut off times. Before covid, 1st class (free) postage, used to arrive within 24hrs.

Other concerns about when parcels are marked as sent etc. usually can be explained by the vendors organisation systems. Marking them off as they have been packed ready for shipping, only makes sense. You will see this happen on ebay/amazon too.

I know it's frustrating but once you have been a Bigga for a while, you will slip into the ebb and flow of the deliveries and your expectations will calm down to match the slow stoner pace ;)
