I’d give it a 9/10 if it set my gran on fire. At best.

I mean I’ve started to rate 9/10 if the bud isn’t bang on especially when it’s labelled exotic/import and sometimes even lower. I have seen some vendors try push some questionable bud through as exotics and get a string of 10/10 just for getting the bud there, leading to me being disappointed when purchasing.
Ideally there should be 4 cats for review scoring imo

Product quality-taste
Product quality-potency
Value for money
Vendor service

I agree, some of the worst I’ve smoked has been plastered as exotics on here, the reviews should be more defined.
However, I didn’t know visibility relied on good ratings so 7/10 for what sounds like a good weed for a new vendor is harsh

Yeah completely agree in this instance the review is stupid. If it’s as advertised it should be 10/10. This is sold as mid/top UK so if it’s lacking a little ‘panache’ as the person says it should be a 9 maybe 8 at worst but I would then justify it in the comments e.g lack of terps/clean smoke.

Early on using LB after the 10/10 because I got weed though the door phase.

I remember DeadRabb1t mentioning this in another comment.

You rate against the advert/product page and is it as described etc, otherwise shake would all be low scores due to it not being 10/10 🔥🔥🔥

I think this is spot on and since I have always scored my review based on as advertised.

I also respect the fact that everyone has their own way of reviewing and scoring. On topics and reviews, my issue is that there is no bench mark of the personal opinion or comparison to other products (last one being on topics no reviews)

Insane how no mention of stealth which for me is #1 especially with new vendors - should have it's own system along with other factors that go on reviews in other markets. Ultimately there are 3 or 4 variables that should make up a review, even without words or subjective opinions, such as the UK average being rated 3 or 4/10 by default haha

It's a bullshit review, it's completely unfair. Best thing vendor can do to get the ratings up is have a nice price drop, or better yet, release a 1g each Sample sale. That'll get the reviews up to where they should be. Does look like good flower, but still.

I left that review and as others have commented here I didn't know there are rules as to how you rate, so next time you want me to not rate truthfully and just give shit weed 10/10 yeah? It's explained in there but at the end of the day, the scale of weed should be the same for everyone, if you're unlucky enough to have smoked shit weed all your life and you don't know the difference how is that my problem in a review here??? I've already said somewhere there should be 2 ratings, product and vendor. This ain’t that deep, so typically the review is of the product and vendor. For example, if the shake you ordered was as described and arrived in a day that’s a 10. F the shake was advertised as the best shake ever and it was shit or if it took a month to arrive then you low score. Does that make sense mate?

I think the point is that the scale can’t be the same for everyone as not everyone has the same interpretation of what you say is a 10.

The only common factor that buyers can review against is the listing.

If you review that way fine the best weed ever fine.

Not really mate. Not when you're being called stupid for reviewing truthfully. Nearly all vendors overhype their weed, they have to if its not great or it won't sell. Personally I think its absolutly stupid to blow smoke up someone's arse but that's just me and I'd keep that to myself, I don't go round saying stupid shit about people while accusing them of being stupid, ESPECIALLY when he wouldnt do it in the real world. I think keeping the same listing for the same strains is a given but I think it would start to get messy when you start getting into batches.

That’s when the reviews and repeat customers should highlight that with reviews.

I been on medical fo at least a year now and yes it's got a touch better but there's a different scam over there, its called irradiation. Well it's not a scam it has to be done for a small group of people because the microbiomes exacerbate their symptoms. However for the rest of us that translates to killing everything that eats mold and keeps your weed fresher for longer, so whilst thae quality is kinda gettin better they've now given legal weed a use by date basically. Totally get where you're coming from but realistically when u can pop to the shop or even order weed on uber eats I wouldn't really come on a website and deal with some of the shit u have to deal with on here. I hate to say it but 40/50 is where 3.5s are gonna end up bro, I grow myself and with the cost of living, unless your bypassing meters there's no way on this earth u can sustain 20 quid a 3.5 cuz your losing out straight away in electric, and that's just with 4 to 10 lights. I had all the hope in the world of selling my last real good crop for 20 quid, but totting it all up I wouldn't have even broke even, I had to sell at 30 just to make a few hundred.

The review system is there for you to review the product against the advert of what you’ve bought, if you buy mid shelf you rate it as mid shelf as in we expect mid shelf to have less Terps and strength than top shelf. We also expect mid shelf to be cheaper.

Unless the advert states otherwise in which case we can mention that it did or didn’t in the review.

You have rated a mid product that cost $45 and openly claim you’re comparing it to absolute fire so won’t get a 10.

Thats not how the review system works, you can’t compare mid shelf to a pack of jungle boys that’s costs more than 3 times the mid shelf.

You have to rate this mid shelf against other mid shelf and against the advert, you rate shake against other shake. Concentrates for argument sake you can’t compare £200 hash rosin to street wax. It’s quite simple.

The rating you have given to this mid shelf product to other buyers makes it look like you didn’t think it was that good as a 7/10 for mid shelf would make me avoid that product personally.

The point deadrabb1ts trying to make is that if everyone reviewed this vendor like you have they won’t get very far if their overall rating is a 7/10. Even though the products could be quite accurate and good value for the money.

The very fact you don’t say why you didn’t rate it for the money other than the lack of feathers or something, panache I think was your term also makes it harder for other buyers to make a decision and will put some off.

The rating system is not there to compare all the products against each other, there’s not enough numbers in a 1 to 10 scale to separate it out.

Hence sabaotage or stupidity, and like you say considering how long you’ve been here you know how damaging low scores can be for new vendors.
