Biobizz grow and bloom are fine. Organic too. Lots of room for errors with this plus some decent soil. If you want to add a kick in flowering try bat guano for flavour improvement. Also autos are great but pricey... would recommend jumping into photos straight away instead of autos

Hey guys doing my first grow just wondering what bottled newts you use ? I'm playing with a Coco/pebble mix ATM keen on biobizz anyone had experience with these newts ? Had no problems at all so far almost into pre flowering, have been using ghe flora so far, think I just want to get the best shit I can, any advice would be good let me know if you've had much experience with newts and what you use please
Also mist spray your plants with a seaweed extract. Trust me, they love it. When it comes to nutrients, less is more. Use a A & B coco nutrients all the way through until your flush. Supplement with cal mag to stop magnesium deficiency. The rest of the nutrients like root boosters and bud boosters are a waste of time. The most important thing is to have the optimum growing environment. Temperature and humidity are the key to success. After all, the marijuana plant is a weed.
I wouldn't use a foliar spray at all in flower, you massively increase the likelihood of introducing bud rot.
If you really want to get dialed in with your temp and humidity get a Ecotecnics Fan Speed Controller. They're not cheap but they are the dogs bollocks.

I've been really looking into into and I believe with autos a combination of lst and keeping the water temp, right pH right with ambient temperature and humidity all right at different stages you should get good results ... We'll see haha
What sea weed extract would you recommend? I'm not using bud booster only the ghe micro grow n bloom plus the root 1,only just got that tbh so trying it on some new seedlings... Started flowering so being very on it with temp n humidity, have no extraction ATM so it's a balance leaving a door or vent open if it's too warm etc, got a humidifier in there so that's all good at about 40%, temp between 24 to 26 day time, trying to get closer to 24 as well as I can

AHH ok cool I'll stick to ghe seems pretty good, using biobizz root for seedlings too, and calmag obviously, would you suggest using anything else other than that ?
I grow everything in biobizz light mix, using their whole range, i would 100% reccommend BUT honestly it's looking more and more like living soil is the way to go.
With photos i go full strength, with autos i dont hit them til day 25 with a half strength veg mix then veg feed at half strength until i see pre flowers at which point i start bloom. Flowering i have found 75% of auto strains can and will take two thirds of your normal strength. For example i mix nutes that would be for 1L of water but instead add them to 1.5L of water. Never get nute burn, dont need to flush as biobizz is completely organic. (I flush autos to finish them sometimes)

Dont over complicate things. I would 100% do soil first , much more forgiving, easier to manage and has built in protection for your plants. Coco can be done, but you will be put off if it goes wrong. (and it probably will as all new growers pretty much overfeed plants and cant get ph right or temps etc). Ive used biobizz and not the best, but fine. When i grew, i just used my own piss (diluted 1:10) for nitrogen and micro basic stuff from local garden centres. (thats after trying out advanced nutrients, hesi etc). Be careful with bat guano etc as it can fry your plants. Best way is to always keep them slightly hungry and ensure no mag def or lockouts in any medium. easiest thing to do, but people can screw it up because they faff about with it too much.

Hell yes. I had one a couple of weeks ago. Got myself comfy, and settled in to ride it out. Let my mind wander and 30 minutes later I realised I hadn’t moved at all but had had a lovely time. Wouldn’t want it with any regularity but I certainly don’t fear the whitey.

Ok so clearly after smoking for 30 years I'm still a noob lol and with help from the site I'm clued up to my favourite strains I'm after a few recommendations im happy to smoke whatever bud hash or oil but preferred to smoke indica dominant strains I've found 70% to 30% sativa is my ideal, I love the relaxing feeling rather than anything else I recently ordered 2 strains which I really enjoyed must be strong and must be good shit I don't mind paying for the good shit !
The 2 I really like in particular I think it was og which lasted me ages the 2nd was purple urkle both from greenfinger
Any advice would be appreciated and any sellers with this stock let me know

I'm becoming particular over which strains I enjoy but interested in others preferences .... Post your favourite strains and if possible a little information, if it's sativa or indica or hybrid ... When I look for something to buy I always look at the indica ratio that will sway it for me and gas to be strong ..... Although nice to have a mellow smoke sometimes during the day but more often than not it's indica for me
I agree with your stance on indica dominant strains. Though choosing a favourite these days is becoming pretty difficult.

I was a heavy smoker for years (half oz a week) then suddenly i started having panic attacks after smoking with pulpatations too. I gave up for ages but i really miss having a smoke so ive started having some very small amounts of morrocan hash this last year, which so far seems like it causes less problems although im still very nervous about having too much. If i smoke most weed thats around ill feel like ive had 4 cups of strong coffee :( Weed used to be relaxing but now feels like a stimulant . Ive also ended up cutting coffee and most hardcore sugar out of my diet as that seemed like it was also starting to affect me badly (i suppose thats a good thing to cut out anyway haha but still) . Whats going on Doc?
Hey! Sorry to hear about your weed-induced panic attacks. I can easily give myself severe anxiety with too much THC but at the same time I need the THC-heavy indica strains to sleep (severe insomnia from long-standing PTSD). AVB (already vaped bud) doesn't seem to cause anxiety in the same way, so sometimes I just self-medicate with that. But I've found the trick with weed is to vape it, not smoke it, and to use way way less than makes sense, like a really tiny quantity. Either I just put a tiny quantity in my vape, or i put in a normal quantity but only take a couple of shallow puffs then take a break for an hour or so.
That said, a lot of panic attacks are by subconscious association, so if you had one bad trip with weed, the panic attacks could well be just your amygdala screaming DANGER DANGER at your adrenal glands every time you smoke. If you need to talk about it feel free to message me btw

Hemp hash has the best Cbd buds! Just mix it 1:1 with thc weed , or 1:2, 1:3 etc. That should take care of the anxiety;)
if you could get diazepam i used both to cure very bad case of PTSD to fix. every time i smoked and got panic i i let it get bad then pop a pill to shut the fuck up to this panic it works really does. did this for just a few weeks and wala i can now smoke 247 no panic then just weened myself off the diazepam 5 years gone and still PTSD free

Definitely try vaping. Its a lot more mellow and a nice way to ease yourself in. MJ Concentrates have some great carts (he is sold out atm but will restock soon) and he is really helpful and has great customer service and no question is too stupid to ask him.
Just to add as I don't see it otherwise mentioned, but the maturity of the trichomes plays a large part in this. Smoking earlier cuts of cloudy trichs will give a rushier hit than ambers if cut a little later, and I've found it's immature or earlier cut weed that tends to give me the effects to speak of. If you know any growers, ask that they cut you some when it's mostly amber trichs and see how you do. It is degrading at the point but you can't get it all just right.

Sorry to hear this. Everyones different but it can come down to strains. Try find Hybrids or Indicas particularly ones that are low THC and High in CBD. Thisbalance is key to a balanced high. also really make sure the plants are flushed correctly and/ or organic. Less chemicals the better which can trigger a lot of this.

Not really bud, Durban Poison i Had stocked there was 17% THC, 1% CBD, 1% CBN. There definitely are strains that have like 3% CBD these days. Sorry I couldnt be of more use!
Would love to try something like Stephen hawking kush . Indica dominant 12% THC 13% CBD . Sounds perfect for me but I don't know if I'll find weed like that in the UK . Hopefully I'll get lucky
Sorry to hear that buddy. That happens with my mum. I baked her some brownies a few times and even with strains that knock me out, have the opposite effect on her. She ends up getting a speed-like high. She has chronic arthritis but it may be the type of meds she is on not meshing well. Some venders put detailed descriptions on here of their strains. You will find one that works for you eventually. I hope it all comes right for you because it’s shit when you can’t do what you love. Stay safe.
I had a similar episode after 20 yrs of smoking daily, mind you it happened after a weekend of more booze than you can imagine. Tried a few times after but had the same response, so I gave up for about 8 years ( boy did I miss it!!) then went to Amsterdam, I took it slower than I would have in the old days and always kept my mind working and it worked . TBH my life now won’t allow to go back to how I used to smoke but pleased I can still enjoy one again. I guess it really comes down to mental conditioning and not associating weed and the panic attack, well that’s what helped me .
1:1 THC/CBD strains are amazing. Stick to some nice indicas or hybrids and you'll find the CBD takes the anxiety away and replaces it with a deep relaxation.
maybe because you stopped using for a long time so your body isn't used to having weed. or you might have went straight to sativa strains when you started again. i had the same experience not long ago, i thought i added a low amount of cannabutter in my brownies and i ate two, 5 hours later i feel like my heart will explode and i was scared i might die. lol. yeah stick to the indica ones, try to taper your dose-- start small and see which amount gives you the results you want. Currently black jack reserve or fruity pebbles from drugsinc these are pretty laid back not heart pumpers. Look out for the ice cream cake that was nice.

I got rid of them pretty much within a month by using deep breathing techniques. I have a friend who makes RSO which can hit you with panics like a truck if you take too much and the breathing techniques completely stop those too.
I know it sounds cliche but I really recommend the box breathing technique whenever you feel bad: 4 seconds breathe in, 4 seconds hold, 4 seconds breathe out. Do that for 2+ minutes and you will feel better.
That said, this is my personal experience and can't guarantee it works for anyone else but I haven't had a panic attack properly since that first month many years ago. Allowed me to continue using the plant that I love.

I quit for a year and then eased back in with low strength hash.
High THC Low CBD strains will still make me uncomfortable if I smoke too much too soon,so I stick to mellow stuff these days.
CBD will absolutely settle heart palps and anxiety. Smoke/ vape a fair whack before smoking anything with THC and you’ll be fine. CBD flower shake is pretty cheap, I always have some on standby but I haven’t been unsettled in a long while.

Hi, ive smoked heavily for 25 years now and I find my anxiety is at its worst when i cant source any weed, whether thats an addiction styled placebo im not sure, but I have heard of people mixing quantities of cbd flower in with their thc flower at various ratios and reporting much lower psychosis/anxiety levels. Maybe try a bowl or vape of 70/30 thc/cbd and see if it helps any.

Also, when a plant is chopped also has an effect on the buzz. So even an indica can be racy if its chopped a bit early. Sativas are often chopped a bit early because...
1) They can take another 50% longer to flower than an indica
2) It amplifies the racy high and can be more trippy.
Loads to keep you happy, but id just look for a 90%+ indica dominant, which is usually displayed in vendors sales pitches.
Good luck and dont do it if it makes you feel para. Can be unhealthy to keep that going for the grey matter.

feel purer and no tobacco means not having to roll joints to feed nicotine slumps.

Maybe try hybrids with a greater percentage of indica or strains with a balance of thc & cbd.

could be worse, you could develop cannabis hypermedia syndrome like me and nearly die of complications of dehydration. imagine the worst pan imaginably, its 10 times worse, fentanyl does nothing, they had to put me under to stop it.

Takes me back to the early 90's......that and Moon Safari by Air stand out for me. I listened to Adventures Beyond the Ultraworld by the Orb a lot back then too. I still roll this one out - another great toking album.

My go to is Pink Floyd ‘The Dark Side of the Moon’, followed by Dave Matthews ‘Before These Crowded Streets’ or ‘Under the Table and Dreaming’ and First Aid Kit ‘Ruins’
Its a personal choice and each to their own taste however if there is a list of great albums to listen to when stoned then Fleetwood Mac - Rumours has to be on it.If you have never heard it then you are missing out on one of the greatest albums ever made.
Rumours takes on a totally new life when stoned. I wish I had the songwriting gene!
+1 for Rumours - there is a great documentary about the making of it...well, about the whole band, how they formed etc. They were basically hating each other when that album was made (which is obvious when you listen to the lyrics). Have a look for it on the iPlayer - well worth a look

If you want a nice hour musical journey one of the best albums I could listen to from start to finish is Smashing Pumpkins, Siamese Dream, and it's not traditionally my fav music. Or anything Led Zep.

you see it every day. not only in the media but out and about. was everyone always this angry? I can't say I'm innocent. I'm angry when I see people coughing coronavirus all over each other at big social gatherings. I'm angry that I have to cower smoking some weed but Dave next door can batter his wife after drinking 12 cans of stella but is considered a social hero because he can consume vast quantities of poison. I think some of the more angry in society have learned to use anger to trigger dopomine releases in the brain.

I agree, I think the fear is driving the anger and the fear for many is very real ( like losing their jobs and homes) plus we're being led by a government who couldn't manage the local McDonald's! That's not partisan I don't think a change of government would help we need a change of system. On the positive side I think they may legalise cannabis to raise money and keep people happy. That d work for me.
Seriously we should follow McDonald's lead on this. Simple trustworthy servants with limited powers works for me.
what iv found here with anger is when you get poor service from a vendor ie poor weed,poor coms and you leave feedback on his page many other people get angry as they have received good service and basically call you a liar which in turn then turns into a row....people have to accept not everybody gets the same service and many vendors with have their fave clients
I don't think because other people have had positive experiences that it automatically invalidates a negative one. I do think that some members might be trying to create a balance when someone does have a negative experience so people can get a full picture. I think a lot of the time it's more to do with how someone has put something across rather than nessesarily what they've said. But of course, you're always going to get those who can't understand that someone else's experience might be different to their own. We are still on the Internet after all. In those cases it's not worth the effort to engage with it. Studies show even a single bad review can negatively impact a products sales. But if said review turns into a slanging match, it just makes everyone look stupid and any significance of what you said gets lost.
From my experience (can't speak for anyone else) I've found that just talking to the seller if there's a problem always works for me. Though that probably isn't by accident. I always have a good look around a sellers page and if there's anything that doesn't seem 100% I won't look at the product. At the end of the day you're handing over your personal details not just your money. But the ones I've dealt with have been highly professional esp considering the legality of the industry. But as I said. Just because I've been lucky up until now doesn't mean you haven't had some bad luck. Hope you've managed to find a and merchant you're happy with :)

it all comes down to the fact that everything here is organised by humans. Humans make mistakes and misjudgements all the time so you can’t really guarantee a perfect experience / exchange every time. But being able to admit to being wrong sometimes, and having a bit of patience will make all the difference. People just don’t like being wrong but it’s a side effect of being a person.

Couldn’t agree more! I worked in the ambulance service for a few years a while back. Scraped pissheads off the pavement more than once every shift generally. As for call outs as a result of smoking weed...one patient (who was a teenager having a panic attack because she ate her first brownie, didn’t feel anything, so ate another one ?).

I agree. I have noticed that few people have much patience for others any more, and it wasn’t as bad as this a couple of years ago. I mean, it’s hard to recognise whether people are smiling or not with these crappy masks. I’m not saying we shouldn’t wear them because I’m well aware of my lack of expertise on the virus... but wow, the impact on our brains is massive.

I am sure they will weather the storm.... Canna has been around for millenia and vendors will be too. it's the post that becomes the problem, hopefully early next year a vaccine will be rolled out and we can all get back to normal. in the meantime. i suggest a bit of gardening or indoor cultivation ;)

If you know covid is real then you know why people need to be sensible and you know something needs to be done to slow the spread as the hospitals simply cannot cope with another massive spike.
I agree with you 100% that the rich twats in charge are taking advantage of the situation but if we let that influence how we treat the covid situation then that just makes us as bad as them with people dying for our selfishness and it wont solve anything - we've already lost the class war, the fight back isn't going to happen during this covid outbreak.

I've heard reports of post going missing alot ATM, not so much from lb but in general.
Lockdowns will surly continue if the virus is spreading to help the NHS,
I only ever pay next day delivery for the best post results, some places are getting it a day late or later in the evening I think they are saying next days are by 6pm ATM, what with black Friday, Christmas, and a lockdown, everyone is buying online so it will put a strain on the postal system, I've found it to be very good from personal experience. If you're gonna pay £100 on a quarter of weed you may aswell pay for next day.
Anyway, ain't no way it's going dry more and more people are growing now, the vendors know there's a demand, I believe old smokers are picking up old habits and resorting to the bliss of a joint, and who's to blame them, I for one can't remember why I stopped, the current pandemic will have a great impact on the population mentally, we all need to switch off for me that's the weed man, I plan to smoke my way through it, gotta be the best way to fly

I’ve just bit the bullet and forked out for the mighty vaporiser. Not really tried vaping properly, can Vaping replace smoking joints?
Took me a while of on-off vaping for it to take. I had a desktop vape but I still liked the ritual of rolling a perfect spliff and going outside to smoke it. Plus the thing smokers don’t realise is part of the stoned feeling is just from the fact you’ve inhaled combusted material which makes you drowsy. Vaping is a much cleaner high but many smokers miss that thing that smoking gives you. I eventually moved entirely to vaping when I got a pax 3 as it feels more like smoking where you toke and inhale. With the crafty and mighty you inhale directly into your lungs as there’s less resistance. I actually use the crafty+ more than the pax3 now as it’s more efficient and the vapour tastes better. Battery life on the crafty is still crap though! Also, last time I tried smoking a joint it tasted disgusting so I think i’m a 100% vaper now.

As for joints and smoking for me there's no other way, edibles don't cut it for me, I guess there's the old just smoking joints scenario and reduce tobacco intake

Man I’m in the same boat, today my mighty arrived so this was supposed to be the day when I stopped smoking joints and finally end my relationship with baccy completely. Sadly, I’ve very quickly learnt the Mighty is never going to replace spliffs, or in fact even 1% of spliffs. My experience so far with the Mighty involves wasting a load of weed for the tiniest, most pathetic bit of vapour which has not got me stoned ONE SINGLE BIT. I’m already rolling a joint. Biggest waste of money ever IMO.

I just had my first go and thought it was alright, got a pretty strong hit, set it to 190c and got a pretty good vape. Made me cough a bit though.
I have read quite a few comments from mighty users saying it took them a while to work out how to use it properly?
Ok so on my 4th attempt at using the Mighty and now doing the opposite of all the tips I’ve read about, hardly grinding the bud and packing it into the capsule and finally some consistent vapour came out for about 7 or 8 pulls. Not shit loads but some at least which is more inline with what I expected. Had to waste a g of some lovely bud just to get to this point which is hardly ideal. Hopefully the attachments (bubbler and adaptor) I’ve got coming tomorrow will elevate it up another level but progress at least.
Yeh from the research I’ve done that does seem to be the case with regards to the bud (dampness, grinding and loading) but I followed this all and used the driest bud I had, packed fairly lightly and ground to dust. So I’m wondering if it’s more a physiological thing, do I want to give up smoking spliffs enough to accept the Mighty will do... I dunno just hoping someone has some advice.

Quit smoking altogether (moved to e-juice) and picked up some MJCarts so I could cut joints, then bought a dynavap and never looked back (or bought any more carts).

It can be your new favourite way to consume weed, but it can't replace joints. Part of the feeling you get is from starving your lungs of oxygen and filling them full of poison.
You've definitely picked a good one, well regarded. If you find it's not for you, former smokers seem to do well on butane vapes at least until they're rid of the smoking habit. Easier to get head strong 'cerebral' highs, may have to experiment with varieties to get a real couch lock.
I use dynavap in the way I used to make little single skin joints during the day, put it in the bong for bigger hits in the evenings. Now I've added a desktop electronic vape for control of effects and I can hit that all day long.
It's like having a whole new drug at your disposal.
