Have often thought the same they’re pretty shit from an environmental pov. Same as the legal single use vapes. See them discarded all over the place. Hate them tbh. Jury is still out on the harm they cause too users too. I have been curious to try though but probably wouldn’t for reasons mentioned.

I don’t vape, don’t know a lot about how they’re made, but I see quite a lot of disposable vapes advertised on here. Is there a reason why some sell liquid or cartridges which I presume go into non disposable vapes and others do disposable? I’m kinda guessing there’s single use plastic involved somewhere along the line whichever option you go with, but just thought I’d ask the question to see if it was possible for vendors to sell without adding to the endless stream of single use plastic. Not having a dig at anyone just genuinely curious if it was possible to sell whatever buyers want without some form of disposable plastic?
You missed your target- both carts and disposables get thrown away when empty but one gets thrown away with a tiny battery, which I guess is a bigger issue (🤷♂️). Plus they both have glass, metal, whicks, chemical residues….a cocktail of consideration before the plastic content perhaps?
If we all had glass refillable carts and bought the liquid to refill them?…well ok except the atomisers don’t last long anyway and would need constant replacement and the liquid would have to be supplied in a disposable bottle.

As I said, don’t vape so wasn’t sure but guessed that however it’s done there are disposable parts/plastic, just thought I’d ask see what was possible. Not targeting anyone just wanted to understand a bit more about it and whether anything was possible is all. No harm in that
More materials are wasted by disposable vapes with batteries and multiple plastic types, than liquids in recyclable pet bottles for topping up coil and tank vapes. Neither are great environmentally.

The disposable nicotine vapes are basically more flavouring than tobacco. I've been vaping no flavoured nicotine salts in 100% by for about 5 years, nearly one 1 exclusively (I was able to quit fags completely in 2019 but joints I couldn't let go of till last April). I have tried one with a flavour just to see and I was almost sick. It was like drinking concentrated diluting juice without any water. Really,it's better if we just breath in air, but in lieu of that, no flavour has been good for me and I don't cough at all anymore, now that I've given up my 20 pipes a day in favour of a wax pen. But the concentrate pens I've tried have not worked well for me. They seemed fine at first but the fallout was not good.
Okay. I looked into this after trying a disposable ecig. I called my local recycling centre and asked if it would be possible to recycle them. Some councils you can just add them to your normal recycling and they will sort it into a small electrical bin.
Another way is when you have a few take them to your local recycling centre and put them in the small electrical bin.
If you really want to do your part they snap really easily. The plastics can be put into the correct plastics bin (there’s two kinds) and the battery can be put in one of those battery recycling bins you see at supermarkets.

Oh this has been on my mind a lot recently. I used a couple of them, in total 6, till it was just too soul destroying. Moved on to a ceramic tank pen and concentrates. Can't smoke anymore, recently my lungs really don't appreciate it.

Steve Wilson is a fantastically talented musician, however he's also a mahoosive elitest plonker who for a very long time wouldn't release music on streaming services due to it being "digital" and lower quality and therefore not the experience he wanted for his listener base. He has since changed his stance on this but it along with some really awful interviews he did make me unable to listen to his music (knowingly)

Does anyone know how strict their security checks are? I want to take some edibles with me (essential for this trip) but have no idea how risky doing that actually is.
My understanding is that any checks take place before boarding the train, and they’re generally more lowkey than airport security. But I could be totally wrong about that - and so I don’t know whether to stash edibles in my bag, on my body, or avoid taking them altogether.
And any suggestions for decent but stealthy looking edibles are very welcome too.

I got a rub down search at St Pacras by a black security dude. I had a bag of stinking chronic in my sock that I could smell from “above”

However, if authorities are looking for smugglers, they may conduct searches on trains, especially those coming from the Netherlands.
If you keep your (smoking) products vacuum sealed until you arrive in Germany, you should typically not have any issues. Edibles are typically fine unless the Packaging is too obvious. It is important for you to inform yourself about the cannabis rules and regulations regarding the cannabis legalization in germany, especially if you are carrying/consuming - to avoid any fines.
The security checks are usually relaxed as long as your products are well packaged and you remain calm. It is advisable to clearly state that you are a tourist when traveling. Edibles should be fine as long as you vary the packaging and types of edibles you carry.

Thanks for that info. I’m not travelling via the Netherlands, so that makes things a little easier. Have you had any experience of security in London? That’s the part that I’m more wary of
I travel London to Paris 2 or 3 times a year. The security is absolutely less strict than airports. You put your big luggage and hand luggage through the same scanner. There's no restriction on liquids. I get the feeling they're only checking for weapons.
The process is 1) scan ticket, 2) put bags through scanner, 3) walk through body scanner, 4) UK border passport control, 5) French border passport control. I've never seen either passport control do anything other than check passports.
Personally I would take sweets. Remove them from their packaging and mix them in with in legit haribo in their packaging. Would definitely put in a bag, you're not allowed anything on your person when you walk through the scanner. Just make sure you don't have anything else in your bag that's going to mean it gets checked (i.e. too much metal or electronics).

I brought in edibles from Amsterdam to London. No checks. Don't act suspicious and there will be no reason to check you going from UK to Germany. But as others have said everything is available in Germany. You'd be better off using someone like Euroterps to save yourself the embarrassment over a few edibles
I’m not really staying in one place long enough to place a German order, so think I might follow the haribo plan. Good to hear no checks coming from Amsterdam - I expect that would be a more likely route for them. I’m old, so can blend into the background fairly easily!

What situation in Germany? I know tourists can’t buy legally there, but I’d assumed things were a little more relaxed than before legalisation…and they don’t arrest for small amounts
As euroterps said if you're taking physical then best method I'd say is keep it vac packed. No scanners as far as I'm aware so only smell to mask, failing that eddie's or carts

I never did find out the seed brand but 20 years ago we were getting some white widow that was just so strong and high in thc that not only did you have a guaranteed weed hangover the next day but it would almost smell like fart gas when you cracked it open.

Breaking bad will probably always be considered more of a classic and definitely was one of those dramas that paved the way for modern dramas today. But in terms of quality BCS is better written, Directed and streamlined than breaking bad season 1 was a bit slow tho. Also without BB there never would be BCS which has to be apprciated.
BB my preference Saul is an amazing character but dont think it takes you on the roller coaster BB does

For me, personally I think they’re both brilliant. You cant watch better call Saul before breaking bad. I love how it shows the aftermath of what happened, better call Saul is slower but if you’ve watched breaking bad before you’ll be sucked in from minute one. For me breaking bad might just be the greatest tv series ever. Just everything about it was fucking mega and it wasn’t hollywoood it was raw just like GOT used to be till they ruined it.
No need for a comparison, both great shows. Obviously BB set the scene for Better Call Saul, but I think it would have worked without BB as a stand alone.

If your smoking career has been as long and as extensive as mine then you'll undoubtedly have heard of temple balls many, many times. Possibly in hushed whispers. Maybe, unlike me, you've previously encountered a genuine one, and got to smoke it. Lucky you, if this is the usual quality of a temple ball!
So, Hashishin doesn't appear on the wall, and I only managed to get one of these before they sold out as someone mentioned in a comment on a topic that he had temple balls in stock. Temple balls?! No. Couldn't be. Went to find the link, and there they were! I can't import hash from the Middle East though, surely? Isn't that a step too far? I smoked a lot, drank some good wine, and ordered a temple ball. I couldn't miss out. What if I never saw another? Shipping from the Middle East though. This stealth better be as legendary as I've been led to believe.
6 days after being posted, it arrives safe and sound. Any residual concerns I had dissolved when I open the package and saw how it had been packed. I can believe that 99.99% drop rate, as the stealth is absolutely crazy. In amongst it all was a perfect temple ball, wrapped in the gold foil, and with a tiger staring back at me. He did it. Got a temple ball to the UK! Absolute legend! I nearly threw away the 1.7g of unidentified but slightly fruity smelling black hash inside the packaging, but I spotted it and didn't! Thanks Hashishin, I'll give that a try soon, and hopefully you get back to me with what it is.
Carefully unwrapping the foil finds a glossy ball wrapped in clingfilm. Getting the film off is quite tricky as it's so, so sticky. Clean, hashy and slightly piney aroma to it, and more so when it's torn, revealing the grainy inside. Inside it's a lot less sticky, and a much lighter brown than the outer shell (for want of a better word...it's not very thick, but it is slightly different in texture). Easy to tear a small chunk off and work it into thin snakes to put into my wake and bake joint of the day with 3 small silver Rizlas and a whole B&H gold cigarette. The smoke is sublime, smooth, spicy and very, very strong. The smoke from the end of the joint is is very pleasant to inhale and savour whenever a strand gets near my nose. Exotic, slightly sweet in tone, and spicy and hashy as hell. More than halfway through the joint and the heavy Indica head stone starts to come on. After lying down when I've finished the joint my head just gets more and more heavy, and fuzzily stoned. Very strong waves seem to hit my mind as if I'm on some almost trippy mental rollercoaster. It's so strong that at one point I found the very act of thinking difficult. Can't remember when that's ever happened to me before. This incredibly strong head stone gets stronger and peaks after about 30 minutes after I've finished the first joint and stays at that incredibly high level for a good hour.
It's a good hour after that before I think about another joint, and clearly it can only be this, right? Same effects but stacking and layered and even stronger. This may not be the kind of stone that everyone likes, but this is what I crave from smoking, and this has scratched the itch like nothing else I've had in living memory.
3rd joint finished and I'm not even sure how I've managed to type this. Slowly, and methodically, is probably the right answer. So, despite the fact that I'm getting hardly any body effects from this, my head and my mind are beautifully and very heavily stoned right now, and I don't think I'd have any chance of decent answers if I watched Pointless. Although not couch locked as such, I'm not doing a lot for the rest of the day, and you should plan accordingly if you're lucky (or were lucky) enough to get your hands on one.
On reflection, 100% worth the risk to import what is probably the best hash I've ever smoked. Ever. Amazing stuff. If it ever comes back I'm first in the queue, especially at $120/10g! I think I could do with a snack now too...
So, Hashishin doesn't appear on the wall, and I only managed to get one of these before they sold out as someone mentioned in a comment on a topic that he had temple balls in stock. Temple balls?! No. Couldn't be. Went to find the link, and there they were! I can't import hash from the Middle East though, surely? Isn't that a step too far? I smoked a lot, drank some good wine, and ordered a temple ball. I couldn't miss out. What if I never saw another? Shipping from the Middle East though. This stealth better be as legendary as I've been led to believe.
6 days after being posted, it arrives safe and sound. Any residual concerns I had dissolved when I open the package and saw how it had been packed. I can believe that 99.99% drop rate, as the stealth is absolutely crazy. In amongst it all was a perfect temple ball, wrapped in the gold foil, and with a tiger staring back at me. He did it. Got a temple ball to the UK! Absolute legend! I nearly threw away the 1.7g of unidentified but slightly fruity smelling black hash inside the packaging, but I spotted it and didn't! Thanks Hashishin, I'll give that a try soon, and hopefully you get back to me with what it is.
Carefully unwrapping the foil finds a glossy ball wrapped in clingfilm. Getting the film off is quite tricky as it's so, so sticky. Clean, hashy and slightly piney aroma to it, and more so when it's torn, revealing the grainy inside. Easy to tear a small chunk off and work it into thin snakes to put into my wake and bake joint of the day with 3 small silver Rizlas and a whole B&H gold cigarette. Thanks mate! They really are otherworldly (sorry!) and utterly ridiculous for the price. Obviously nothing is 100% guaranteed, but I wouldn't hesitate to buy from Hashishin again. If you do order you'll be amazed at the ninja (assassin, I guess?) level stealth skills when you open that package.

If you haven't worked your way through Kubrick's stuff stoned I'd recommend it, it's a rabbit hole worth going down; The shining, Clockwork orange, Full metal jacket. Intense as balls though.

Don't know if this thread is still going, but interesting to see what direction everyone takes in films to watch when stoned. I tend to go for comedies; South Park movie, Wayne's World, Ace Ventura, Happy Gilmore. If I'm really mashed I usually end up on YouTube watching undersea vids of sea creatures - jellyfish & rays especially. Can get quite beautifully trippy :)

Ended up giving myself tennis elbow, i've a gun dog and the lil' guy can run for hours, everyday, hours and hours.
I get his exercise in with his doggy ball launcher and this is what caused my injury.
I've since switched arms to launch, the injury is in my right elbow and i've not been using it for months now and this is where my question stems. (i'm a little ambidextrous so left hand launching has been no problem 😁)
Here is my question, just how long do these things take to heal? It's been months now and the pain is still there, not always of course but i'd like to know when i can expect my right arm to start working again 100%.

I've suffered with this reoccurring for years. Mine is caused by driving with one hand, turning wheel with palm.

Just to update, got a message from a bigga about vitamin d, so i've been on high strength 4000iu vit d softgels for 3 days now and can already feel it easing.
I think i must have had a deficiency, working back shift and not getting up till noon probably didn't help either, not caught a decent bit of sun since summer 2022.

I found cbd oil really helped with mine mixed with some stoneys chocolate and a couple jynts 🤯 I suffer from loads of different joint pain due to work and daft sports over the years and now the wrong side of 50 😂 not a complete fix but definitely helps 👌

Had it in both elbows. Thankfully not at the same time. There are a few daily exercises that help, that you may be able to find online or from a visit to a physio. I also had tendonopathy in both Achilles tendons which needed Physio so also had some treatments on the elbow while there. These included Acupuncture, ultrasound and electric shock (not painful). Still took months for the pain to gradually lessen, almost back to normal now. Getting old sucks balls
Took me about two years, but still got to be careful. (Mine was weightlifting, left elbow)
Spent some money on deep tissue massage specifically on the arm which helped a lot to release the tension. Finger strengthener was a good purchase and helps ease the pain when sore, also a massage gun for the surrounding muscles. Cheap one is fine. Avoid the actual joint as can cause more problems, top of the forearm up and down helped a lot

So I've read here about biggas dropping hash into their coffee, sounds like a lovely time, but I've always been too sceptical to try it as I'm not convinced it's going to get me stoned, especially in black coffee as surely there's no fat for the THC to bind to for you to metabolize it?
I've read about milk infusions, and I guess that could be happening on some scale when you drop a bit of hash into a coffee, but my question is wouldn't you need to decarb hash the same way you do with bud? Googling yields a lot of conflicting information, some even claiming that dercabing takes place when the hash is produced and that further decarbing isn't necessary.
Personally have no idea how to proceed but I love the idea of a cuppa that gets me zooted

You can just eat it and swallow it with a can of pop ( not fruit pop though its not as good) I swallowed a Q of Soapbar and knocked it back with a can of Iron Bru in 1999 and I was off my tits for around 30 hours. I only remember it so well cause I ate the hash bout a hour before I went to see Star Wars episode 1 shit film but if you're in a cinema absolutely fucked watching it, one of the best things ever.😅
I rung a Taxi from the foyer hardly able to speak and having problems remembered where I lived 🤔 soon as I got outside the cinema the sun hit me after nearly 3 hours in the dark that was it I just blacked out 😳 next thing I knew the Taxi driver and a man dressed as Darth Vader ( handing out flyers for KFC opposite ) 🙃😅🤣 were helping me up and bundling me in the back of the Taxi.

Hey Man. I do most of my hash in coffee. Warm the hash and crumble into warm milk. Milk in the coffee. Works just fine. Tbh you can just eat hash and it will get you high. My guess is something in the process of making it , acts to decarb it. Not going to give you some bullishit science I've made up though, just experience.I have never decarbed my hash and get high most days. Either that or I've managed to placebo myself for many years. I've reviewed a bunch of hash and I've hardly vaped any. Just give it a try.

Now I'm with you on something happening in the process that allows it to be primarily active but I still always decarb all my products as I have the specialist equipment and it definitely makes edibles waaaay stronger <3
If you have heated it with a lighter to crumble it will be decarbded. We used to have hash and honey sandwiches at school sometimes, it always worked fine, a little too good sometimes!

Dont eat hash, ever. Workers roll it into balls and spit in it to make it more workable. Always smoke it or decarb it. How to decarb? Place some olive oil in a small frying pan or pot. Heat it to 110 deg Fahrenheit or until small bubbles gently form. Get a small cheese grater and grate hash finely. Make sure oil covers hash nicely. Gently agitate for 20 minutes. Let it cool. Use a strainer to remove any matter from the oil. When cool try a half teaspoon on EMPTY stomach. Wait for effects. Now you know how much to use. If you want to know about precise dosing send me a DM.
I was skeptical too, i tried this yday tho. I heated 1g decent quality hash and crumbled bit by bit into coffee cup with milk coffee and 2 sweeteners. Poured in hot water just off boil. Cup reduced water temp as xup was v cold so put in mwave 1 min came out steaming hot. The hash dissolved into coffee v fast. Left cup until cool enough to drink. After 1 hr on empty stomach i got pretty baked for 6 hrs 👌😁
Just eat it, 0.7g will get you quite stoned, so take care. Also, wait 2 hours before taking more, it can take a looong time to kick in.
I've taken a spoon and put a little butter then heated hash into it. Once fully melted and hash is mixed then add to a yoghurt. Always a decent high and can use less than .5 g.
I use a cafetier to be my coffee for 10 minutes, crumble some hash on the filter and let it be for the same time. It works for me, fucking wide eyed and wahey for the morning. It can take a couple of hours to bang, same with if I eat it straight. Not saying it's best but it works for me

I’ve got a couple of machines that’ll do it, herboven and magical butter but if I’ve got the time and I’m using butter for the recipe, it’s the old fashioned Bain Marie on the stovetop, water gently bubbling and not stopping until the last little bubble has disappeared. Can take a couple of hours but the time is worth it with how much more potency you get per gram
Using this method I can use an eight to get 28 cookies that’ll make me sit down an hour after eating one.
Same process with flower, the missus likes to strain flower butter before using but I say fuck it more fibre in the diet

I use Kilner clip top jars (amazon)
0.125 litre for half oz
0.35 Litre for an oz
I then have the jars in a food lock bags but the smell keeps leaking out.
Not sure how as i filled up the jars with water, locked it, tipped it upside down and nothing came out.
Dont get me wrong, Pistash's Amnesia Haze is amazing and smells like heaven but WOW it has a strong smell.
Any advice/help in this would be much appreciated.

I keep my personal smoke it glass jars in my fridge, the jars get burped daily and the result is beautiful cured buds
For my personal I go no frills using old jam jars (cleaned of course) in a shoe box in a drawer. Does the trick me. It’s in my office in the loft though so smell isn’t too much of an issue
Same idea here. My personal stash ends up in repurposed coffee jars and gets aired every couple of days. My sale items are in airtight Kilner jars which get vented every day. Both options are good for containing the scent.
I would have hoped that the Kilner clip tops would keep the smell in. not sure about the screw top lids versions if the clip wont work.

only thing I can think is that the stank passing through water is making it smell stronger like a fart in a bath, clip top kilners are usually 100%. mine certainly was until it seppuku'd and I replaced it with one of those anti-uv screw top jars from amazon
You need Mylar bags. Food lock bags don’t cut the mustard;)

There are some who do next day delivery so if you order before a certain time tomorrow it could be delivered Saturday. Dr Green Thumb is my go to for swift service (often under 24 hours) but there are a number of others as well, Genetics Hub is another off the top of my head. That might be the closest to same day delivery

Hey friend, I had a customer say that one of our packages that was sent "signed for" was just posted through his door without the postie asking for a signature. I asked the next time we were in the post office what should happen for signed for / ND Special delivery and the lady at the counter said all posties "MUST" - strongly emphasised MUST 🤣 as for a signature for both regardless. So like Mf40 said, we think its luck of the draw with your posties

Yeah I realise that. A little niggling but it is clearly stated in their terms so no issues there as I ordered at 21.30 on Sunday. Cut off is cut off but I was bummed when I realised the time lol. I thought about the B grade stuff but never sure what it'll be like and was looking for something to concentrate. In the end I decided on the distillate given the price and I'm currently out so it means no wait time once it gets here. I have terpenes so I can get a few different flavours with 3g. Worth a try

Use Special delivery by 1pm if possible, it trumps all other services. Even if it's late too lol.
Been waiting 4 post days for my "NDD" ship. I trust the seller but Royal Fail can suck my big toe.
That being said my friend, if "next day" is taking a flipping week imagine how long first class will take! You might just get a last toke on your deathbed. Assuming they're not on strike.

It's still worth getting even if it doesn't come next day. I waited 9 days for first class recently. Had major paranoia it had been intercepted.

I've been waiting for a first class parcel that was posted 29/11 and today is 6/12. I spoke to a postie and he told me that a parcel posted just before or during a strike day is already classed as failed/late so the depots will ship out parcels received AFTER the strike FIRST....these newer parcels are given priority over parcels that are already classed as failed/late unfortunately. It's a nightmare but it will turn up eventually.

Yeah man the posties deserve what they're asking for 100% so I'm totally on their side, I think I should have been a bit smarter about ordering the day before the strike. I've seen people leaving reviews on the same vendor I ordered from that only took 2 days to arrive despite ordering a week after I did. Sucks but I'm hopeful it'll at least before the weekend

RM is not providing tracking on there platform atm that's how bad it is. I was down having a look yesterday at one of there sorting offices and there are hundreds of sacks pilled up, go look for yourself at your local post office and see the all the sacks of mail laying about.
Except for Special, we have stopped using their services till January as the problem will only worsen with Xmas and all the online shopping over this period.

When the fire brigade strike over having to work to 65 in a job that's guaranteed to destroy your back by the time you're 45 I rock up at the picket with tea and bacon sarnies on my lunch break.
But when you're spectacularly failing to take one piece of paper and move it to another place at the best of times my sympathy well starts to run dry. Not helped by the fact that I can't even smoke a fat joint!!! XD

I had a 24hr sent on 28th that hasn't landed but I've had two first class ones land today that where sent on Dec 1st so I think a lot depends on what mail centres its passing through. Fingers crossed for tomorrow mate! :)
I picked next day delivery which was changed to 24hour delivery last week on 30th, seller didn't bother posting until yesterday but still insisted on saying its due to rm strikes. they must be smoking their own product because its in black and white from the tracking number. one of the top sellers here, not naming yet as its the second prob i had from them... somehow they also think sending 3.5g is equivalent to 28g. If they dont come good with a way to compensate, i will be openly posting and their 100% rating wont be that for long.
This has happened to me sent wrong class so didn’t arrive for 8 days thankfully all my ndd over have been nd or +1 even during the stikes maybe the seller I use lives close 🤷♂️
Usually great but my last one took 7 days and the current one is on 5 days due to RM just being awful as per. Our post here is the worst. Sometimes if they feel a bit pushed they just leave parcels at the depot for when they feel like it.
