Elderly neighbours dog bites you, what you doing about it?
Hey biggas (let’s call this dog biggy)
So the neighbours dog is a fuckin psycho, only a small little thing, bit bigger than a jack russel. He’s nearly took my hand off twice after the neighbour tried to encourage him to be nice to me. Then walking up my path one day a couple of months ago, he flies out his front door, starts wanting to get me ankles. Am stood in shock while the son of the lady takes his sweet time controlling this thing then it bites me. Only a little bite but it drew blood.
So the son says “did he bite ya” so I simply showed him the blood and said “he comes near me again, I’ll fuckin have him” then, as im walking in, my camera picked him up saying “there’s no need for that”
Wow, absolute fuckin weapon. So weeks go by, the old girl next door doesn’t say a word about it, actually acts as if nothing has happened.
There’s 2 reasons I didn’t report it to the police or take it further in another way.
-I’m not a grass
-Her husband has late stage dementia
So I’m sat in my house yesterday, window open. The obnoxious cunt of a daughter walks up the path talking to someone saying “biggy doesn’t like him, he bites him” and ‘I’m hyper aware of tone’ so I can tell with some certainly that she’s actually happy about it, wow.
For context and obviously only one side of the story, I don’t bother with the family. I’ve never liked them. From the day I moved in, I’ve bent over backwards to make life easier for them, moved my bin in the summer when it stinks is just one pathetic example.
I was willing to let this go and forget about it cause I thought, ok, they’ll keep the dog controller in future and it was just a bad mistake. But after that obnoxious cunt actually being happy, it changes the game a bit.
So, what’s your approach?

Every chance I'd call the police, not for me, but for the next person it's gonna bite.
I'm a big fan of dogs, dog owner and postie, but dogs that bite people need muzzling at the very least.
If you want to bend over one more time, let them know your plan and offer to let them muzzle it without the police involvement, asbo and fine.

Grassing, naa mate. I deal with my own shit, grassing gets people killed. The 2nd time it tried to bite me, I shouted at her “that thing needs a fuckin muzzle” nope, nothing. Fuck letting them know my plan, if it bites me for a 2nd time, I’ve got no choice but to defend myself.
Easy to solve this. Firstly, always remember that the owner is the culprit here….not the dog.
Secondly, carry a small treat in your pocket, something tiny and not burdensome to carry around, when the dog “approaches” you again whether at speed or otherwise, give a loud (and I mean loud) HEY! to get the dogs eye contact then take your treat out your pocket (let the dog see your action and then hold the treat out but away from the dog).
The dog will detect the treat and will await a command from you so that it can be rewarded with the treat. Give a clear command to sit, stay or whatever and pass the treat to the dog and move on.
No heres the important bit, you need to rinse and repeat for weeks until the dog familiarises the routine.
The only downside to the above is that you will convert a dog that bites to a dog that will beg you every time they see/smell you coming.

Been a dog lover in part with my mother from birth till 18 then I moved out and got cats and absolutely adore all my family’s dogs. Lost too many to age over the years I can’t count. I’d never lay my hand or foot on an animal but if he bites me for a second time, I’ll have no choice but to do something
Need to show him who is alpha by gripping its head and pinning it to the ground,these little dogs get spoiled and are in effect handed pack leadership by their owners as they have no clue about how to train a dog.
I don’t think I’ll get a chance to grab its head, the thing is a vulture but ya bang on about the training. Poor thing barely gets a walk and she didn’t train her last dog either. The dogs are old? Naa, this thing is only young, always been a cunt but tbf, it’s never been walked or trained. She’s told me, when the dog is on the sofa barking out the window, she gets a chain lead and pulls it off the sofa.
My guess is, she rags him off the sofa when I walk past so she’s negatively reinforced me. Cause when he sees me, he gets ragged off the sofa.
