Affirmative Action is Simply Less Wrong
really simply, quotas are arbitrary and biased by definition. Sure they are dumb but at least they are different biases to a system that could benefit from it.

Not just talking about engineering justice into some internet utopia, this is about our survival as a species. That's the diversity that we need most, the kind that evolution likes, that shows up at the right time to be the key to survival.

Yes and no, when you look at it from every perspective it inevitably comes into focus on it's own. Then it takes energy to ignore it. So I gotta wind up liking it but not nearly as much as I loved being blind to it.
