Cartridge Headspace: Why Isn't My Cartridge Full?

Taken from CCELL website:

"Less is more" is a phrase that many live by. It also applies when filling CCELL cartridges. You’ve probably noticed that usually the pre-filled cartridges are not filled up to the top and there's always a small headspace above the oil level. How did the headspace end up there? Does this mean you didn't get everything you paid for?

Where Did My Oil Go?

If you purchased pre-filled CCELL carts, some of the extracted oil has been absorbed into the ceramic heating elements. After filling the carts, we usually advise oil manufacturers to let them sit for a while in order for the ceramic atomizer to be fully saturated so that when they land in your hands you can start vaping right away without the need to wait for it to soak in before you enjoy.

CCELL's ceramic heating elements have extremely high permeability and is are able to absorb up to 150mg of the extracted oil, resulting in a part of it seeming like it may be "missing". Additionally, CCELL's cartridges are pressed into the reservoir using an automated pressing machine which may also slightly lower the oil level from the added pressure.

A Purchase Worth Every Penny

During the design stage, our engineers have already considered all the possibilities and made the reservoir larger for headspace. For example, if you purchase a 1 gram cart, the actual full capacity of the cart itself is around 1.25 grams. This design was implemented to allow for the oil to be able to flow naturally and decrease the risk of leakage during transportation or when there are changes in air pressure.

If you are only using little biggy you are missing a great audience in “society” a fork of little biggy on the tor onion network (http://societywcowsoak6.onion) just use a tor browser.

Society has different algorithms than little biggy and seems to be more liberal with new users. With an onion url you can promote on the deep web, which is much more open to anonymous identities. with a verifiable rep you are the light of that universe instead of the shadowy character you are on the open web.

Has to be Canadian Imports and their legendary Unicorn Piss! They also have them in 1ml CCell Kera carts now - full ceramic - gives off huge clouds and purest flavour of the ‘piss. Clearest disti carts I’ve seen in a long while as well. Beautiful.

After my hassle with Coinbase, which still hasn't been resolved after 6 months, I now buy my BTC via Bitpanda funded by my Santander account and transfer to my Exodus wallet. All well and good, but now Santander just refuses to let me buy it. Are they blocking crypto purchases totally now. In the meantime I've applied for a Monzo account but just curious why now. It's my money and Im not being scammed, so why shouldn't I be allowed to buy Bitcoin? Bloody fiat!!!

I did that for ages with Coinbase until September last year when they blocked my account with £300 in it. It's now worth about £700 but I'm still battling to get it back. If they don't want my business then fine, just give me my money. Bunch of thieves.

RBS was the first bank to stop me buying bitcoin then my Monzo account stopped it. Currently using a Revolut account which lets me convert cash to bitcoin easily. Last order for $130 was about $5 for the fees.

I did engage with Lloyds over it because I just don’t see how they have the right to control what I buy. I was put through to fraud prevention and I had to answer various questions to convince them that my frequent small sends to Bitpanda were of my own violation and that I understood the risks and I wasn’t being coerced🙄. They said that Visa would still block it on my card not them, but they would allow direct transfers from my current account.

May be worth chatting with Santander?…

Thanks for the advice Polly, it's worth a try and I shall now have to brave the dreaded call centres. It's a joke that whilst what I will actually buy with the BTC is illegal, the actual purchase of the crypto is not. It's my bloody money after all! They really do not like us not using their institutions do they!

Every week you try and get me to buy a stocks and shares ISA, so there are no risks in the stock market then? At the first naval blockade of Taiwan by the Chinese, $10 trillion will be wiped off global markets. But you are still trying to flog it to me!"
