Few things to sort out in real life

would like to say thank you for all the support
and orders appreciate it hope everyone's happy with the service

Want to point out we aren't a team of people
it has been very stressful joining a new platform to sell we have had nearly double the usual orders and full menu not on here yet

Not sure what peoples issues with the coms are trying to answer as much as possible

Future plans is to have 3.5s in Nice printed pots that have been ordered should be sorted by the end of the month 😁🤲

have them mix and match up to 2oz and should make it easier to keep on top of all the stock faster to ship out

1g samples in the normal pots we have been using or Paper if its not too oily

will go through the shop and update and put any other listings on later

there's some rabbit holes that once entered there's no coming back, this is one of them.

Favourite is orange bud. I like the flavour but also the way the stone creeps up.

The strain I really disliked was thin mint cookies. Bloody awful. No idea what they were thinking there.

The last one I had from GC was good old fashioned Mimosa- bloody marvelous stuff. I do wish they would stop messing about with it. The cross with the orange punch doesn't have the same effects for me and the Evo is a crime against Mimosa imo lol!

I wasn't such a big fan of the evo but I like the punch cross. I'd love to get hold of an original bit of the California orange bud they used to sell in Dam to see how it stands up now.

Favourite strain would have to be Bubba Kush or Boss OG. Bubba Kush tastes and hits amazingly and Boss OG tastes incredible, like drinking a can of sprite. My least favourite is probably Strawberry Kush, thought I would’ve loved that strain, but it’s too terpy to enjoy, overwhelming amount of strawberry terps.

I still remember my favourite it was when I was a student over 20 years ago in Liverpool.
It sounds vanilla but it was Big Bud. Lived up to its name, nice big buds, crystally to f*ck, smelled amazing and the high just gradually swelled til you were mullered.

Without going into too much detail I have been managing a chronic pain condition for a few years now, I manage it normally with the meds we all love from here and physio and all that but when i have an acute episode (I don't like that term, sounds like a cute episode and there's nothing cute about it trust me), well when it happens i have to pull out the big guns, this last few weeks I've attempted to numb or distract myself in a number of different ways, tonights effort being 3.7 grams of Golden Teachers and they're starting to work their magic so i best rush this along..🍄

I just want to say on top of all the muscle relaxers, analgesics, anti this and that AND all the bud, hash and resins I've thrown at this the one thing which has had the best results over all else has been the RSO and the FECO, these oils are magic, i thought edibles didn't work for me as they just made me a little higher than I was already after a days usual heavy smoking, 200mg seemingly had little effect, well cut to now when I've really needed the extra pain relief its been the only thing so far that's really given me it and the Myconauts stuff is by far the best value on here at the minute.

...Also should mention the concentrates are top tier and also the best value currently on LB, as far as I know they are soon to be relisted so keep them peeled people👁️👁️

As someone who has smoked cannabis of some form pretty much everyday for 75% of my life. Im going to go with never again too. If I'm honest at 50 my lungs feel shite, clogged up and on the way out. If I never manage to stop I will almost certainly die younger than expected from a lung condition.
Facing the dark truth of our dirty habit is a hard thing to do. I just wish it wasn't so unhealthy.
If you'd have said never tried it or smoked the best quality gear everyday? I'd choose not to even try it. I love it so much that Ive never heen able to stay away from it, but smoking it is slowly killing us.

I was smoking every day but really hating myself for it, then I read the Allen Carr book on how to give up smoking tobacco (I’ve never smoked tobacco at all but figured it’s the same thing) and that was it, I just stopped despite trying unsuccessfully loads of times before. Why am I here? Well occasionally I check in when bored to see what’s going on but never buy anything.

I think if it was guaranteed I would never get lung/ respiratory issues later in life I would smoke forever, unfortunately that is not the case. Luckily one can get edibles/ tinctures, live resin and vapes on here as an alternative. I enjoy live resin carts these days (closest thing in terms of spliff hit for me, yes good edibles hit harder perhaps as they always did, and if I wanted couch look I would perhaps look at edibles) and feel better for it. I do miss a spliff and rolling one, but the last time I tried to smoke spliff it made me want to puke it was that disgusting. There is no way I’m going back to spliff now….then again I probably smoked spliff for about 25 years so I can’t say I didn’t spliff it to the max…..

It does throw up the question as to how many chronic weed users also have sedentry lifestyles (often linked to other health issues for which they use cannabis as medicine) and of course excessive consumption of junk foods.

If the report was all about smoking I think we would agree that inhaling pretty much any heated gases into our lungs over long periods is unlikely to be doing us any good but this is about THC in all its formats.

THC causes physiological changes to our hearts over time it seems. Certainly chronic users frequently report palpitations and myochardia (not sure if that is the right word) and both raising and lowering of blood pressure. Not ideal.

Also we are now taking THC at strengths never previously seen or heard of and many people report doing it throughout the day every day. That won't end well.

Like everything else it appears that moderation is the key....

I kind of waster a load of Distillate. I heated it up in some boiling water and thought how can I consume this. Took out a yogurt and sprayed some into the yogurt. Dug my spoon in only for all the distillate to get stuck to the spoon. Me being high thought no biggy I can lick it off or scrape it off with my teeth. 1 hour later i still have distillate stuck to my teeth!

About ten years ago I was moving flat. I put the final lot of my clothes and my weed pots into one black bag to take with me and rubbish into another to go outside for the bin collection. By mixing these up I lost both the clothes and the weed to the bin lorry.

WTF DID I DO THAT FOR ! 🥹 but also I do remember knocking a glass of juice onto some only smoke had left onto my tray also drenching all the rizla in the process very painful experience

Piatella. It is meant to be the rock star level hashish. Apparently. To be fair I've never actually had any - only read about it.

Currently mycoconauts (who I've not ordered from before) have a Lemon Skunk Piatella at $58 gram. Follow the link to check it out.

So why has this apparently magic hash captured my imagination?

I've made basic hash several times now. I've had good results and I've had poor results plus everything in between. A couple are written up as topics on my profile here. While I'm not actually the most massive hash smoking fan, and certainly not an expert, I am utterly fascinated with the process.

Depending upon what your starting materials are, the process you use, how carefully you run it, will result in wildly different qualities of hash.

At one end of the scale you get the light and calming daytime smoke for someone who is meant to be doing something else but felt a break was needed. At the other end you have the full space cowboy high grade smoke for someone who'll be doing little else that evening but grinning at people and being confused by the complexity of opening sweet wrappers.

There are lots of interesting hash making techniques from traditional hand rolled to the modern static method and the even newer plasma static process that can create a static sift in an automated way. That's worth seeing - some clever sciency folk figured out that the nice tasty trichome heads that get you wasted and the rest of the plant were oppositely charged and thus could be separated at speed using lots of static electricity to draw them apart. The application of human genius at its finest. But back to ice water hash and the piatella.

The piatella, from what I can tell, starts life with an expert ice water separation. This will be using high quality materials and taking a large amount of care to separate the heads only and not any plant materials. This will create a full melt hash base.

Following on from this the next key part is to make sure the product doesn't oxidise. This is why regular hash is usually darker - oxidisation - from exposure to air and heat. Freeze drying must be used to limit that while making sure all the water is successfully removed.

With a regular hash you'd likely heat and press the hash in some way to get the trichomes reacting for a long term storage once it was dry. With Piatella, to keep it from oxidising, it's vacuum wrapped and cold cured for months. As the terpines naturally try to leach out but cannot escape the vacuum pack they react inwards instead. And that's apparently where the light colour and fudgy consistency come from. This process takes months of planning, processing, love and care, hence the artisan price tag, but is meant to preserve the fresh taste and high quality of the product. It's essentially a solventless 'natural' extract.

It's this last part that I'm particularly fascinated by. Like any human innovation I look at, I'm always perplexed to think about how someone stepped it through in their brain as a process.

Anyway, I spotted this Piatella available and as it's pretty rare I thought I'd flag it up to everyone on LB. I'm pretty tempted myself so may jump on board the piatella train after payday as a treat.

I must admit I find it a little hard to justify the price particularly while the LA Barz hash is a smidgen cheaper but as it's so rare I might just dip in for a taste of something I've only read about. They say to never meet your heros - so will this be the like the moment I discovered a rock star I'd admired for many years was actually a wee bit of dick?

Yeah it's hard (for me) to justify the price of the piatella for anything other than a special occasion although due to the rarity I am pretty tempted to celebrate pay day with a little sample. That's sort of a special occasion. Only get twelve paydays a year.

Some of the nicest dabs I’ve had were some black mamba diamonds I had off someone on here ages ago can’t remember who. A close second will be a more recent purchase of Peaches n Cream micro diamonds from 420buds. It’s not on his menu but if you message about his concentrate collection I’m sure he’ll advise 👍🏻

I tried it and to be honest, while it’s very clean in the banger, I agree with Euroterps that it’s more likely good quality BHO. The terps are just not very strong and it doesn’t have a hash-like taste. Also the consistency is more like a budder/shatter. At this price I’d rather pay a little more and get some top tier hash rosin from a UK producer e.g subzero extracts/reytrosin etc. You would be surprised some of this UK rosin is admired by even people in the US.

Having said that myco is always very generous with his portions so that makes up for it and it is still some high quality stuff, just prob not piatella.

Probably right tbf mate, never tried it before but I think it’s still worth noting that can never expect real piatella at the price it’s sold for. Plus I still think it’s a really lovely smoke. Cant quite afford the likes of the SZ rosin but always used him to get my mood mats and bangers! Very jealous!

Yes I would expect piatella to go for £80-100 a g as does HR from the likes of SZ. I’ve only tried that tier of stuff a handful of times and tbh it’s such a headache actually finding a reseller, keeping it in the fridge to preserve the flavour etc that it really is a once in a lifetime thing.
Best I’ve ever tried was ‘the hive’ hash rosin by reytrosin, that shit was honey and papaya flavoured pure melting goodness 😌

$58 a gram is more than i usually pay for other extracts like live resins and crumbles and its definitely way more than i've ever spent on a single gram of hash before....but i mean just look at it...its not really even recognisable as what i would call hash lol. It's some golden yellowy gorgeous glob of what looks more like budder than hash.
I'm certainly not expert on the process of making it but it looks time consuming & complicated compared to many other types of hash making or extraction.
I'm just going to grab a gram so I i can say I have tried it :)

There is a level of difference especially since its way too golden for Piatella. Piatella usually is white/greyish, this looks like some vacuum pressed resin BHO not piatella. Real piatella does not have such a color homie. This is made to look like piatella so you can get charged more. Piatella either is brownish or white/grey, not yellow golden like bho would appear.

Ok so I have been producing and consuming extracts since about 2015. I've been to Spain and tried Piatella from uncles farm and la kolada farms, I've also been to Colorado and Oregon and tried their version of cold cure water hash and I've tried it from black cats dead rats in den haag.

This is 100% cold cure water hash. If you leave the jar out at room temp for a few hours, you start to get terp bleed.

You do not get terp bleed with bho, even with top shelf badder, the terps and cannabinoids stay together and don't bleed out.

I have also dropped some in iso, where it dissolves and leaves a small residue. Bho dissolves completely in iso as there is no plant residue, where as piatella still has a small amount of plant material.

That said, it's not piatella cos piatella is a brand name, from Uncles farm. Not all phones are Iphones and not all cold cure water hash is piatella.

But I am extremely confident this is not a solvent based extraction (excluding the fact that water is actually a solvent)
