new to bud & have rather bad insomnia and find weed is the best help, what strains on here have you found knock you out or give you a large body high?
Hey mate while everyoneโs different, Iโd say a safe bet is a strong Kush variety and usually a few available.
Motor breath wouldโve been my other tip but believe thatโs sold old.
Iโm loving jungle grapes for ptsd, depression and sleep. Good all rounder, lacks the insta KO though but an epic strain.
Personally I donโt read too much into indica / sativa as found when I grew the pheno and harvest time dictated the high ๐ค

Have you thought about RSO, its often better for sleep and medicinal use, you only need a little, half of a rice grain sized blob maybe, a bit more depending on your tolerance.

As far as bud goes i cant get enough of the Kushes at the moment, so many of them work for me personally...

You ever do tolerance break? I've done a couple, longest was nearly 3 months. I swear everytime I start smoking again it hits me harder..... for a while..
Iโve tried tolerance breaks a lot, but my c-ptsd makes it too difficult to actually manage through without it most of the time, hoping to try again soon tho!
I also get insomnia. The thing that always gives me a good night's sleep is making cookies from d9 distillate. Can get 1ml pretty cheap on LB. If you're new to edibles I'd recommend you slowly work up the dosages. Like don't start with 1ml. Start with 100mg or something small. The syringes it comes in are marked. Taking more than you can handle can be a wee bit unpleasant. I expect RSO to be a good solution too but I've not tried it. I've read that's even more dose dependant than d9 where a bit too much is not fun. The one possible flaw in both of these is if you need to be up early the next day. As others have said a good kush would likely chill you out a bit. I find a strong hash more sedative than weed though. Good luck on your journey man. Hope you find a solution. Or still least fun searching for it.

Help swapping to bud from carts?
Iโve been using d9/resin carts for about 2 years to help my bipolar & iโve slowly found they just barely get me high anymore or help my bipolar symptoms/insomnia. Will swapping to bud help this and if so, where shall i start? Not skilled in rolling, but any advice on what to do next regarding bud/hash/concentrates would be great as littlebiggy has been a saviour for my mental health!

I would say that d9 high feels shallow anyway compared to decent bud. The high you get with bud may hit you like a train.
If I was you, I would start with some decent hash and see how you feel with that before you decide move on to bud.
I would take at least a month off the carts and maybe try a 100% Live Resin cart from one of the vendors that now offer this - when your tolerance has lowered.
If you want to do joints, I would buy a rolling mat or something to help you with the rolling.

Iโm certainly no expert but what I have read is that carts are very concentrated. Your body will build tolerance to the THC fairly quickly if you consume regularly.
It may be the case that youโve built a strong tolerance, which is why you need more to feel any effects. If that is so, Iโm not sure that switching to bud / hash would be that helpful. Have you tried taking a tolerance break? I appreciate thatโs quite challenging given that you use it to treat your symptoms :(
If you do want to try bud or hash Iโd recommend a dry herb vape or smoking it either in a joint, pipe or bong. There are some good dry herb vapes available. I use a Mighty, which is quite pricey but very good. I use that for both herb and hash. Check out a subreddit called vaporents on Reddit that should have plenty of helpful info.

AgreeโฆI have a 5 week rolling schedule and try not to to hit the same thing twice (rarely possible, I mean Mimosa Wednesday is Mimosa Wednesday right?! ๐)

Dont have to ditch the carts completely, just have a little break and they'll start hitting again, I ditched the carts then over the holidays wished i had one in, they are still handy when you need to be quick and stealthy about things!

Edibles are interesting because ingested THC can be very different to inhaled. Liver enzymes mean we all experience edibles differently- some people are almost immune to them, others (like me!) get wonderfully high for hours on a tiny dose. Youโll need to discover your own level by starting small.
If I was you I would start with a chocolate bar. Stoneyโs Chocoloony from Pistach is a great product. Eat just a single chunk (c.20mg THC) and wait 40 minutes. I would be high (and itโs a lovely high) for about 4hours on that but there are Biggas that would eat half the bar (250mg!๐คฏ) or even more. Your cart tolerance wonโt decide your edible tolerance so fingers crossed yours might be low๐ค๐ผ and therefore great value!
If you think that you would prefer jellies to chocolate check out Bald Eagle Bakery. I strongly recommend you start at 20mg or less so if you buy 50mg jellies then slice them in three. You can always go up over time.

i'd never tried rso, but have been using it for a couple of months now. gassed's is tasty and good and an indica with a strong 'medicinal', sleepy kind of high (if you want knocking out, this one is excellent), black gold has a sativa which is a bit cheaper and stronger and more thc-y and knocked me out a bit less (more than smoking sativa does though), i liked them both - i don't know about the others. if you want to be consistently stoned to a certain level all the time (i assume that's what you want, right? for medical?), it is definitely the way to go, much better than smoking or vaping for consistency and duration - about four hours for me off of a good dose, also, for value, unbeatable. getting the dose right is key though - you will need to experiment a lot but if you take too much, some sort of strong cbd product will sort you out well enough though. just keep some handy and you will be fine. i have some 1200mg cbd caps from holland and barrett and a couple of them will fix any whitey (which you will definitely precipitate at least once whilst experimenting). it does take a fair bit of getting used to, rso, it's a different effect but for what you seem to want it has to be worth trying (with the proviso that it can affect different people quite differently depending on how your liver works. tbh, i tend to find edibles weak but rso i just have a bit more 'cause it's cheap). also, i agree about rotation (especially swapping between sativas/indicas) so it should probably be a part of the mix at least, and remember you can still smoke/vape on top to fine tune things with the rso in the background. staying high all the time is difficult, tolerance creeps up on you quite quickly and takes a long time to go down - i find three weeks or a month to go back to square one completely but two weeks is nearly all of the way back, and a week helps quite a bit. d9 is about the worst way to get high imo, though, so don't worry, you have a lot of options left yet and they are all better, t breaks are going to be a thing though sooner or later though. hopefully, not very often if you get a regime that suits you better - i'm not familiar with your symptoms obviously, but as far as i understand it cannabis withdrawal (which is definitely a thing) is only going to make them a lot worse. bipolar can make it hard to control your moods and impulses, is that right? i get like that anyway in withdrawal, angry, depressed, confused and i can't sleep for days. if you have bipolar/ptsd anyway i'm not surprised a sudden stop feels intolerable. only lasts a few days though. you could taper down to a t break, if you taper off over a week or two then that would help with the withdrawal symptoms but it would of course make the whole process longer. try it, see if it helps maybe? if it's only once a year or so... idk. if you take cannabis for long enough, it will stop working eventually whatever you do, but a break will fix things completely and you can start again. if you can't make a joint, buy a bong or a pipe if you want but remember smoking is really bad for you, rso/edibles/vapes not so much (not sure about vapes, actually, but a lot better than smoking surely). one of my stoneyest friends died (very slowly and unpleasantly) of throat cancer a while ago, it was really beyond horrible. oh, and if you don't like the taste just squeeze some rso onto a rizla and fold it up and bomb it - also, you can carry pre made rizla bombs of rso around with you for later. hope this helps or, if not, you get something good going for you eventually - two years is not much experience, you will get better at finding the right way. cannabis is a complicated drug and is difficult to manage consistently long term, but is actually fairly safe and mostly quite nice while you find the best way for you. don't start smoking if you don't already though, stick to rso/edibles/vapes and you will be healthy.

Far from a "scam". I was simply just asking if there was any kind people who could help me out, in a time of need. I haven't smoked in months, as I haven't been able to afford anything, and I never begged anyone for anything during that period. I only reached out in a time of need, when I'm really down in the dumps and extremely depressed, and could really use some medicine.

How do you biggas consume your RSO?
My mum + I both use it for sleep, after eating i dose it out on a chewy sweet (like a percy pig lol) and just eat normally. An hour in and im zombied.

Small rice grain sized dab on a nice bite size bit of your favourite chocolate or sweeties really easy going to ingest and masks some of the taste if your not overly keen ๐๐ปps Iโve still got my own teethโฆjust๐ซ
Being a clumsy twat I always seem to end up with blacktooth or hulkfinger when i try and eat it so I just squeeze out what I want on a thin rizla, wrap it up and bomb it, no messing ๐

If it's real rso produced properly and or not diluted you can push the dose out of the syringe before it's in your mouth and the rso should just hang there

I saw a video on YouTube one person put a rice grain size on to baking paper and put it in the freezer for 10-15 mins then he just swallowed it, seems less likely to cause a mess.
Been making my own FECO lately and have found that diluting it in MCT oil makes it easier to dose from a dropper bottle under the tongue. I find it most helpful when rubbed in to sore joints so have been putting it in rollerball bottles๐
I squeeze some onto a piece of toilet paper Lol put it under the tongue and let it absorb sublingually for a few minutes before swallowing.

I would empty a Beachams cold and flu capsule and fill that up with my RSO it would smash me up for a couple of days.
You can get empty capsules off amazon and fill them yourself. Check the sizes though I got 00 which are pretty big, fine for my mct diluted oil but probably bigger than you need for pure rso.

No I don't smoke cannabis regularly maybe once a few months I'll try an edible thats it I'm just looking to try a different option for anxiety thats all
I've been microdosing for a few months now from this vendor (link above). Pretty sure it was 0.25g of shrooms per capsule when I last bought though. I'm finding it very beneficial. You'll have to work out a regime that works for you (I usually do 4 days on and 3 off, but you may find 1 on and 1 off beneficial. You'll build up tolerance so will need breaks from any microdosing regime.

just super curious, i take Lamotrigine (mood stabiliser) and have found iโm now never able to get actually stoned/mind altered or giggly, just a bit sleepy and i canโt lie itโs a bummer ๐ญ anyone else?
I take amphetamines most days. I still get much more of a relaxed high over a buzzy one though. Mixing in a little booze usually helps the creative thoughts going.

As much as I love LB, this shows that for all the talk of 'Federations', 'Borgs' and Algo's we are actually in a very primitive environment technically. I say that because it hasn't been months its been years, literally years. Once the fees quieten down again any sense of priority will once again be lost. It may eventually happen but thats not helping anyone now (or the last time, or the time before that...etc etc)...
The payment escrow / processor will be the hardest thing to do. I think providing we get a response regarding this from ADMIN we will be fine. I think everyone will be happy even if it takes a month or so to complete

Just been chatting to blockchain customer services and they basically told me its a bug in the fees and they hope it will be resolved soon as they told me to try later today.

yea they said the congestion in blockchain is being caused by this bug and they did tell me to try later today.

Well btc is not getting better i just checked again at 4pm 22/04/24 and this time it wanted over $1000 in fees for a $35 transaction smh.
Just done preview buy of ยฃ100 on coinbase wallet. Says network fee ยฃ55.37 and coinbase fee ยฃ6.20. Network fee showed ยฃ70 yesterday

Is it a wallet with lots of small amounts in it? These cost significantly more to send, and that will be multiplied by the current enormous fees too. It cost me $33 to send $70 at a rate of 24sat/vB last week using a wallet with loads of small payments in it, and the gas fees are currently 5x that rate.

10x that now, so if my theory is correct your wallet is trying to send at even higher rates to get it through, so that fee is unfortunately correct currently in the circumstance I mentioned.

i find it puts you off most times from actually making a purchase , not only the fees are high the process of obtaining for purchase is hard , and on your side as a vendor also i am sure there's some delay of some sort.

This guide however should generally help Biggaz to reduce the cost of buying on LB. Please bear in mind I have checked the fees on at least 12 commonly mentioned exchanges here and the ones listed are the cheapest I could find.

3) BTC Network Fees tend to be lower during nighttime in the eastern US. 01:00 to 11:00 UK time.
4) When sending BTC from a wallet/exchange that supports adjustable fees, consider lowering your transaction priority, donโt lower the fees too much tho or else your transaction may take a long time to confirm.
5) Do not just settle for the first network fee that you are offered, keep checking back often. Fees can change drastically even in a matter of minutes.

Overall Coinbase via bank t is the cheapest option if you are sending directly to LB, Coinbase do however have a history of closing accounts for interacting with LB address', which means you may need to send to an external wallet before buying here.Moonpay has great bank tr@nsfer purchase fees but they charge a processing fee to send BTC which cancels this out. Although I go into detail here about purchase fees, network fees are the biggest issue nowadays. Cutting out the need to send to an external wallet is the most efficient way to reduce the cost of buying on LB. Overall Coinbase via bank t is the cheapest option if you are sending directly to LB, Coinbase do however have a history of closing accounts for interacting with LB address', which means you may need to send to an external wallet before buying here.Moonpay has great bank tr@nsfer purchase fees but they charge a processing fee to send BTC which cancels this out. In this case ๐๐๐ป๐ผ ๐ผ๐ฟ ๐๐ถ๐๐ฝ๐ฎ๐ป๐ฑ๐ฎ ๐ฎ๐ฟ๐ฒ ๐๐ผ๐๐ฟ ๐ฏ๐ฒ๐๐ ๐ฏ๐ฒ๐๐ in my opinion as to my knowledge they have no record of closing accounts for sending here and both have small purchase fees.

Another thing to remember is minimum transfer value. I gave up on Crypto.com because it was crazy high although that might have changed as its been years since. Bitpanda is 0.0015, which can be a pain in the arse depending on the value of btc...
Not sure how many people know this but if you "Buy" USDC on coinbase directly from bank account you can purchase it with no fee. Just a case of converting USDC to BTC which has a small fee IIRC but lower than the full process.
I've never thought to do this, I'll try this on my next buy. My last transaction fee to buy BTC on Coinbase was close to a tenner.

Bitpanda was my go to for about 3/4 years then they blocked my account saying I needed to prove what I was buying who was the receiver safe to say that was the end of that service :D

I used exodus today to place an order on Lb and went through fine. But I buy my coin on coin base and transfer to exodus wallet...wondering if that's why it's still working for me

Hey. Recently stopped sertraline myself - turned me into a zombie. I got the withdrawal brain zaps - first few weeks is horrible, with the emotional control of a toddler but after about a month, I felt more in control and less zappy.
Ngl I smoked my way through the withdrawal, probably not what a GP would recommend ๐ - definitely helped, got a big ol bag of my fave stinky stardawg, put on all my favourite films and easy comfort food, battened down the hatches through that turmoil feeling. Warned my work mates that I might be more blunt than normal cos of it lol. Took some days off work when it was really bad. Worst of it was definitely the first month then felt noticeably more myself again.
Probs about 2 months after I feel normalish (whatever the fuck that is!) and less zombie like. I guess the length of withdrawal depends on the person and how long you been taking em for. The best advice I have been given in this subject is please be kind to yourself and be patient with yourself, you are undergoing some changes to brain chemistry - ainโt no escaping that. But it will pass. Good luck pal, fingers and toes crossed for ya

Vitamin D as well as Omega 3, Magnesium L-Threonate and B-12 every day reaaaally makes a difference. ๐ค

Iโve been on SSRIs for 10 years, recently just did an 8 month stint on Effexor/Venlafaxine which gave me psychosis and iโm finally now off completely and the withdrawal syndrome is baaaaad. Mentally iโm doing really good, but feels like my body is rotting from the inside out every time i move. I make a pretty strong RSO tea at night and avoiding sativa, but do you have any recommendations for STRONG body highs or sedating effects as physically itโs like i have snakes in my limbs. Strawberry shortcake is the indica Dom pheno, sweet and creamy like somebody mixed a strawberry haze and a Gelato 44, more hybrid than I expected
Animal face has been my favourite strain from these guys so far (I've tried probably 7/8 now) lovely sativa that trails off into og lazy less, berry and sweetness on the terps with some og in there, pic is last batch

Yeah i would, it's really tasty, it has some similarities with the Black Forest too, that doughy cakey thing is there but its more vanilla and creamy, I only grabbed a little taste of the cakey ones but ill definitely be back for some more if you lot leave any๐ค๐ป
Washing machine after a couple days in the jar with boveda tastes gassy/piney/herbally on initial inhale with a cheesy kushy earthy exhale. I'd say less hard hitting than motorbreath but still a hard hitter. Only tried a little bit of Georgia Pie but it's a strong hybrid, my best way of describing the taste would be peach liptons ice tea, very unique. PS I appreciate all the great reviews you provide, helps a ton! <3
