Time to go I think

I ordered, paid tracked 24. Still nothing 3 days later. Asked for my tracking number and said “I hope Royal Mail hasn’t let me down” after 3 days, I get “hopefully mate” still no tracking, back to silence. Still no weed. Probably the only thing I can do now is dispute it and go back to getting it off the streets. Sent my head west and I’m not in a place mentally to handle it

It’s not good. Don’t get me wrong, there’s pros and cons to both, the streets isn’t ideal either. This past week I’ve spent over 100 this week on 3 cali 8ths. I usually smoke an ounce of dust a week to give you some perspective. You’re bang on tho, looks like I’ve gotta go back to the streets.

I’ve ordered an oz off another seller who 9 times out of 10 has been bang on but it’s tracked 24 so hit or miss whether it’ll land tomorrow.

Mate that’s fuckin rough that. If you’re struggling to get any, I got contacts off Snap. As I say, not ideal. I had to get in a car with 3 lads for an 8th. Didn’t know them from Adam but luckily they was sound lads

Hey biggas. Ordered Sunday, paid for tracked 24. Was expecting it to arrive yday (Tuesday) didn’t arrive. Seller hasn’t responded. I know to allow 2 days but haven’t had any for 2 days so feelin a little paranoid that it won’t turn up. Should i chalk this down to a loss

Checked me camera, postie arrived in a van few doors down, didn’t deliver to me so either lost or gone somewhere else but with no tracking. Who knows

Scares me yano, the world today.

Like most of you I have important people and responsibilities. I have a baby nephew, a cat, a family, the important things.

The cruelty of this world, it’s sick. In the past month, I’ve had my neighbours dog bite me with not so much as an acknowledgment. I’ve seen injured pigeons that I’ve tried and failed to help. Now I’m sat in Wetherspoons on Blackpool prom, this couple are feeding seagulls and saying “fight, go on, fight”

Pigeons are classed as vermin, as I’m sure (but not certain) that gulls are, but they’re still creatures. Should they suffer in pain? Imagine you being left to rot in pain, not being able to talk or communicate how you feel, completely helpless.

People leave these animals to suffer, in silence while they go to sleep at night, some contributing to the problem by spitting chewing gum on the ground or intentionally maiming an animal. Why? Lack of thought maybe?

I honestly can’t wait to leave this world behind. There’s a lot of good, but there’s also so much evil.

I couldn’t agree more, sickens me how they’re classed as vermin but take rats for example, less people like rats than like pigeons. The point of my post was, any animal suffering, in my eyes is wrong.

I’m not a vegan, I eat meat, but I do it on the understanding the animal is humanely slaughtered instantly, no suffering. No animal, no matter how big or small should suffer

That’s true. I can’t help but concentrate on the negatives but I’ve had a few drinks and got confident and thought if I can at least make 1 person think to stop and help and injured animal, I’ve done something right.

I’ve been coming 20 years. Only here for the night. Unfortunately it’s gone down hill but it needs a lot of resources and support to get it back to what it was.

There’s the odd situation where I see the good in people but this whole post is just one example. Look at the abuse of kids for example, wtf is wrong with the world that you abuse a child ffs.

Nature can be beautiful, but also cruel. I can only hope that I’m reunited with my loved ones and the other side is a less cruel, more happy place when my time is eventually up.

I try to make my existence interesting but not stressful if that makes sense. If this is it and there’s nothing on the other side, I wanna spend what might be my final days enjoying “it” life etc but also finding a healthy balance with my commitments

I ordered 14 grams not too long ago and received roughly 50% small buds and 50% shake. A wide range of different buds to try I even found some tasty purple buds and some absolutely caked in trichomes. I was rolling half bud and half shake joints which hit really well, would highly recommend :)

Hey biggas, is there a rule of thumb when it comes to network fees? I’ve looked a few times over the past few days and Coinbase is still wanting over £12 network fees for an £80 sale.

Coinbase works best for me between 05.30 - 06.00 in the morning £1.99 - £2.99 fees for sending £100/£150 any time after that it goes up to £6.99/£8.99ish. Lots of people day trade bitcoin in other countries to make a daily wage, busy traffic on blockchain seems to raise the fees in my experience. Hope this helps x

Had the same drama last night (25% fee on the total amount) so I waited and ended up with a £2 fee early this morning.

A general rule of thumb seems to be ‘off peak’ hours are cheaper so evenings and weekends, but this will be US evening and weekends so take the time difference into account.

If you want to get deep... fees are subject to outbreaks of war and sudden conflict. Bitcoin is a good way to buy more ammunition. And governments sometimes buy up all the rockets etc that are available on the black market so they aren't used against them - Exocet missiles being an obvious example that were used during the Falklands. And recent rockets ETC

Bitcoin halving is happening on the 19/20th April. (the amount miners get is halved). So the market is kinda busy now with people either buying hoping for the price to increase crazy amounts again, or people selling due to thinking it might drop. If you google "bitcoin transaction fee" there is site which tracks the average cost. Like others have said, try sending at odd times and the price should be lower. The more transactions there are taking place, the higher the fee is.

As a pure guess i'd say the fees will stay volatile, probably get a little worse in the next couple days. Though they should be less so after the halving is done and settled

But the fees have been fairly volatile for the last 6 or so months anyway, so not sure at all.

It used to be regularly lower overnight (when the US is in bed) but not recently. It's never really calmed down properly from when fees went mad at the start of November 2023.

The website mentioned I've linked above. You can see the cost of being in each block in real time, and the symbol like a guage in the bottom left gives the fees needed for various priority levels and speed of likely confirmations. You can save a huge amount in fees if you're setting them yourself when sending from your wallet by checking on here first.

So I placed an order yesterday, messaged the seller to say I underpaid and how much would I need to send. Didn’t receive a reply and my order wasn’t shipped (they’re spot on with marking as sent usually) so I cancelled the order and I’m just waiting on my refund now. Problem is, they’ve marked the item as sent but that’s a day after I cancelled it.

Long story short, can I cancel the refund request or do I just send the crypto to the same address as listed on the order. Cheers people

Clicking cancel just sends a request to the vendor for them to cancel it on their end. It's not automatic, to prevent cancellations in situations like this where they've sent it out. You'll get your order, won't have to pay the extra, and don't need to worry about the cancellation.

Yeah. They wouldn't have sent it otherwise. There's discretion to accept any small underpayments and mark it as paid on their end, as far as I'm aware. It's all held by Transaxe mate so even if there was an issue (which hopefully there won't be) they can always sort it out. They're very efficient, if not speedy.

How do you think it’d go with flower? As in do you think it’d go good side by side. Tbh, life is pretty difficult atm and most evenings am either drinking, smoking or both.

The bud helps with my anxiety, sleeping and overthinking otherwise all 3 are off the charts but it’s gettin pricey even with cutting it down from a half a week to an 8th an spending most nights awake but I’m also tryin to keepin my neighbour from giving me shit considering the last tenants where nutters an smoked the good stuff like it was goin out of fashion (then again, even the bin pisses her off in the summer)

Had been waiting longer than usual for an order to arrive from a vendor who always gets my pack to me on time.
Seller provided tracking info… Royal Mail are saying they delivered it a few days ago!
They’ve provided a picture to show proof of delivery, but the picture has been taken at a random address not even in the same building as me.
Been ordering online for a long time and this is a first for me.
The question is - wtf do I do now?? Has anyone had this happen to them before?
Any insights would be appreciated.

All postal photos are gps tagged, so wait for your postie to come round and ask him nicely to check the tracking and he should be able to help

I’m assuming the address on the package was correct, but the delivery was to the incorrect house, yeah? Obviously, what would be nice is for the person receiving it to drop it round to you or put it back in the post system for re-delivery- we can only wish huh?

If you know your postie, you should ask them to recover it or at least attempt to as it’s their mistake. Obviously this comes with a risk if the person receiving it has already opened it.

If it doesn’t turn up, there really is not much else you can do but put it down to bad luck

Gotta be honest Rux, I usually just load some $ into Coinbase, paste the wallet address from here and wait for me weed, sat/vB is like a foreign language to me. I buy direct from me wallet but like I said, it cost me £15 in fees for a $40 purchase, seems excessive. I’ve noticed that Coinbase will empty my wallet based on what I’ve got so I think you’re onto something with your last comment. Guess I’ll have to plan ahead in future. Cheers for the reply though

So a few years ago my sense of taste changed and now I can only taste sweet sour etc (not the actual flavour of things) now when I smoke, not only does my taste go completely but my sense of smell after just 1 toke of a joint, gone, completely. It slowly returns as my high lessens.

In a nutshell, I’ve had every blood test going, seen maxillofacial, a brain scan and ENT. No one seems to know why my taste changed and no one obviously wants to help with the fact that weed kills my sense of smell.

You guys are my last hope. I know chances are probably 0 but was hoping someone could maybe suggest something/someone else to help me get my taste back and be able to smell a joint when I smoke it. This was pre covid and I’ve always smoked flower

Did it coincide with a covid infection?
I got covid in October 2020 and it stopped my sense of smell in it's tracks.
Whilst my partners sense of smell returned - mine didn't and for about 3-4 months I just had no sense of smell. I was eating the spiciest food I could find(prior to which I wasn't fond of) to taste SOMETHING.
One day it returned, totally distorted. Nothing smelled or tasted right apart from chocolate.
From this point I perceived anything with alot of fat to smell rancid. Walking past a chippy is still excruciating.
Plant matter tasted like mouldy food smells. All plant matter apart from onions, garlic and coriander which tasted like sour milk, shit and sour apples respectively.
Nearly everything apart from sweet stuff tasted different and most smells were nauseating.
30 odd months later I would say my smell is at 70%. I have parosimia.
Extremely dulled alot of the time - but i believe there are some promising therapies for these smell and taste issues people have since covid.
Stellate ganglion block injections have seen some success
Smell training has seen success and has kicked up a notch since 2021. I believe there is now a machine that can just spray out different smells on it's own in order to programme your brain to recognise the smell correctly.
Vitamin D drops have seen some success too.
Repurchased epilepsy medications like sodium valproate have also seen good success in returning people's smell..
I only taste urb on the first toke too. I really need to concentrate on tasting the exhale to counter this which is not a conscious decision most of the time. I have to concentrate which means I can't relax which is paradoxical to smoking weed 🙂

So, was speaking to someone last year about how they’ve got an extractor fan built into his coffee table. Pretty simple setup but stops the smell in his house completely.

I need something similar. I can’t smoke in the house at the moment cause my neighbour is a c u next Tuesday and she’d have me out before I could finish a joint.

Is there any websites I can use for inspiration on building a coffee table or anything really that I can build the extractor fan into but it’s portable as well.

I was thinking this. Seems easy enough to put away if need be but suppose the worst thing would be sitting in a reflective room (trippy shit if ya blasted I imagine 🤣 especially if it’s some banging Polly an ya off ya tree watchin the US office. Just got 2g off my local guy for a tenna cause he’s out of bud an I can’t do an order on here till Monday.

Cheers mate, I was thinking about the fan and filter but when I’ve googled it, the big ass extraction pipes that come with it , the ones that attach to the ceiling look like they’d be hard to hide. Unless there’s a simple way that am not seeing
