I use revolut as my only bank account. no need for a physical bank account,because i have a mastercard with them,all my earnings are paid into revolut,and did not need any photo id.I buy my bitcoins from them and then transfer them to my exodus wallet.fees are really low also :)

I’ve done same w/ Coinbase - bought bc & sent straight to vendor. I do have a Coinomi wallet but haven’t used in ages. Only concern is I haven’t submitted a wallet address in case of dispute/refund. Don’t know where to do that, I’m little new to LB/Transaxe & unfamiliar w/ the proper process. Any advice from others would be appreciated

Yeah paxful is good to buy from just buy from sellers with lots of good reviews as some want more money than you sent nd agreed upon but it is overall good

Btw. Ive been using the plain blockchain wallet for two years without any issues. Least hassle wallet Ive seen! And since I wont upgrade my OS on my mac its one of the few I can actually use. Just sayin, cause Ive seen how it is hated upon on the net. Guess its the competition that spread this lie.

Holy cow - bitcoin is effing complicated. It's not just setting it up, it's all the fees that get added here and there. Wallet, exchange, verification - and then when you take the leap you discover a UK credit card purchase gets you a 24 hour cooling off. WTAF?
I guess it's just the first transaction but even so.
There should be a really simple guide here, step by step and list a few wallets and a few exchanges. So many searches to figure it out and going round in circles.
I was gonna recommend the thing to my mates but they won't have the patience.
Yeah sitting out my 24 hours now.

Exchanges still cant beat the price of btc I get on localbitcoinsdotcom. The only hassle is I need to order btc and go to my local national financial agency and pay a money transfer slip with cash. Thats not a prob tho, cause the teller is a very nice looking woman :P And btc is in my wallet in 3-6 hours after I pay.

It will depend on which country you are in. Look for the bank that is managing the most business in your region...

Seen this on one of the other platforms not sure if 100% correct but I would be wary of coinbase they are very intrusive closed my account a few months ago. They give details to HRMC depending on whether you’ve spent over the threshold limit.

Yes it’s for everyone, it’s because Bitcoin fees are through the roof at the mo and they are trying to negate the effects. They peaked Tues and seem to be dropping but not yet close to what everyone is used to - I expect it will be several days at least until they remove the restrictions

Hi all,

I know this isn't the thing to do, but I usually just buy and send bitcoin from Coinbase & haven't had any issues in doing so.

My network fee is usually around £2, but for some reason today it's £17? Why is this the case & what should I do? I'm only trying to send <$50..

Thanks in advance, any advice is appreciated.

Traffic on the blockchain- btc is going to the moon.

Miners set their fees so that they charge whatever they want for the fastest speed. Transactions like ours are at the bottom of the pool. Imagine what someone trading $50m is prepared to pay for speed?

People sending half a BTC are paying $2k in fees. I can't be the only one that currently watches the blockchain in real time? Mempool.space is a great site. There was one wallet that has had trillions pumped through it. Probably best not to dig any deeper into that one...

Aye. Im watching Mempool today completely fucked off. After the last fee spike and the time it took to sort out, im not throwing anymore money into this stressful bs waiting game. Simply cant buy here, and DGT is about the only guy I wish to buy from anywhere. Its obscene that such a great idea is let down by the worst payment method you could imagine. Im just not using btc, anywhere, ever again

Same here I didn't even notice today since I was used to 1-2€ fees..
And out of 60€ order I spent 30€ on fees and before I realized it it was too late... Also I was stupid enough to cancel the rest of the order so now I'm asking the Borg if we can undo the canceling and pay(when fees are lower) the remaining amount since these 30€ fees are
already lost.. so cheers:P

You can always tell a seller’s true colours when something goes slightly wrong. My original order (my first ever with SOTL) sadly got lost in transit however as soon as I got in touch regarding it, I was given an apology and told an immediate reship would be sent out. The very next day the package came (I missed the postie so had to pick up from depot next day) and now today I’m sitting with some grape diamond and mint cookies that are both absolutely brilliant. The smell of the mint cookies is so enticing.

If you’ve been thinking about giving SOTL a try but haven’t taken the plunge yet, go for it. You will be in very safe hands.

Also, would like to quickly say that SOTL respond to messages super fast and are a pleasure to chat with. After this experience with them I can definitely say I will be a regular customer. Will be back next week to try the gelato 33.

However, your attitude did trigger an adverse response on my part, which led to accusations (which albeit were not true, and I do apologize.) However, you still insisted on a refund when your parcel was in the Post Office and could've been picked up (Which after I told you I would not refund you for, you collected.) I did make a mistake, I did underpay the postage. I am sorry. These things happen.

At least you have had some Comms back. This is the worst experience I have had on here. Ordered on Monday with signed first class. It's now Saturday still not here. RealD, who I ordered a pen from on the same day has landed. Don't use the bullshit strike excuse cause there hasn't been a strike since this order was placed.

Hi mate, once an items been sent off its out of our hands and in Royal Mail's, we don't even know your postcode so until you respond to my message asking for it I can't help you. It isn't our fault for how long royal mail takes, but I understand you may be upset but delays are possible this time of year, I've had Special Deliveries far up north take up to 3 days to get there. Hopefully this issue will solve itself but if not please keep me up to date via messages :)

User has provided a postcode and address I know we didn't post to, after a thorough look of all 18 Reference Numbers for orders from the 3rd of October we have come to the conclusion we have never in fact posted to the postcode / address provided. We do believe this user may be trying to gain a free reship out of deceit so we have referred them to the borgs to dispute this purchase. "Not happy" about the time its taking to arrive, (If it was delayed, which it isn't it still wouldn't be our fault...) this is giving the ring of the classic customer service scam to us...

Had a few seizures and not sent stuff and was anxious it wouldn't get sorted before Christmas and would lag on. They got back and sorted everything as fair as they could considering what they are posting.

RB gets my vote too. He has the price right 7g upwards for the quality of green on sale. While established vendors on here have added anywhere between 5 to 15 on top of prices from just a couple months ago, RB keeps it steady. For that reason he's my go to. Maybe other vendors should keep it more competitive at this price range too and they'll see an increase in custom. Or maybe not!

I don't want to compare against other sellers as there's lots of great sellers here and everyone has different requirements but RB is the only one who offers top quality at LESS than a tenna a gram including delivery! My Stardawg turns up either bang on or nicely overweight and absolutely stinking to high heaven every single time, my latest batch was sent on the 12th just turned up today 22nd was never worried as every RB order always turns up for me. Never once been let down by RB, the quality often matches the most expensive stuff on here :)

I don’t know wtf Royal Mail are playing at with this guys post but it must be tedious for him. I had an order arrive a full 15 days after paying for it, RB resent me the order after 14 days and the day after the original order arrived! (both orders paid for obviously now)

It’s totally understandable to be annoyed and get impatient but imagine the effects and shite RB is dealing with trying to reassure customers he sent the damn order in the first place!

Me now? I’ll be paying for NDD tracked, simple.

Those guys at RB have been having loads of problems with RM. I lost an order in November and got a 50% reship as per T&C's.

Recently went NDD with them to try and ensure it was here for Crimbo and it arrived in no time.

If you see your postie walking around at 7 in the morning with red eye get suspicious :-)

Same issue for me - package sent out on 7th but nothing has arrived. RB sent a NDD replacement on the condition I pay if the original order does finally arrive which I was more than happy with.

NDD arrived without issue but the original order has still not turned up - hopefully it will eventually.

RB is a top vendor though and sorted me out even though the 14 days hasn’t passed at the time
