I've just placed an order for the first time. I sent the required bitcoin to the vendor's order address but I'm wondering how the vendor knows the payment has come from me for the order when all I've done is send bitcoin to the vendor's crypto wallet. How does this action connect it to the order?

OK, so if I buy BTC through paybis (as that was the 1st one listed) does it just sit in a wallet on their site until I'm ready to put the recipients code in (a day or so later?). Is that all I do? Does it disappear? Does it sit there indefinitely? Do I need to move it around somehow as a baffler or does that not work/not necessary?

yes, exchanges are happy to hold your coins and you can send them directly. there is some privacy and control to be gained from your own wallet but it's not required.

I've just come across Exodus app. I believe its a wallet but it looks like you can also purchase coin from them. Anyone with experience of using Exodus? Good bad or indifferent?

So I've made a wallet with electrum but if I want to buy bitcoin off those sites it asks for I'd verification? Is there a way around this? Is it safe to buy bitcoin for use on this site when you've had to verify you identity? Seems mad dodgy to me...

I've found bittylicious for buying the bitcoin and then Exodus for a wallet has been very good. No matter where you buy the coin from, you'll have to provide ID, proof of address etc. Just remember - buying bitcoin is totally legit. Bittylicious has got very good rates and based in the UK. Exodus is a simple enough wallet and pretty cheap fee's again. One last note... I used Lloyds bank and they did a 'security check' before putting the payment through. This is because the banks don't want you buying bitcoin - it ruins there fun. I tried to say I was buying investments then they started asking loads of questions... I then realised honesty is the best policy and just told them I was buying crypto and put my god dam payment through. But they did and all is cool. So don't be surprised if that happens and just say "it's my money and I'm very happy to do with it as I please - respect my authority!"

pretty much the default behaviour is suspect but there are lots of ways to obfuscate for a bigga that cares. bitcoin atms are anonymous in many places and theres always p2p traders.

A bit of a boomer question... Do I need to confirm that I've received the goods so that it releases funds from escrow to the seller? What if I buy without logging in, how do I confirm receipt then?

No, you don’t need to confirm receipt for funds to be released in due course…in any event (including not having logged in) funds will be released unless you raise a dispute…or your funds will be auto returned to you if the items are not marked as sent by the vendor…

Hi there. I made my fist ever purchase with paybis. Now it is declining g all transactions as I attempt to buy more bitcoin using either Google pay or my debit card. Please help. I've tried kraken as well but it is declining transactions from my bank.

this should work but if there has been a change in the price of bitcoin the seller may cancel the order

you can send from paybis. if they have minimums or other unhelpful policies just send to your own wallet (there are lots of free ones like exodus) and pay for items from there.

I made an order, sorted the payment from my wallet and the order still states unpaid for the full amount after the transaction has had 3 confirmations. Have I missed something?

if it doesnt refresh simply contact transaxe support with the order id or the btc address you sent to.

I use revolut as my only bank account. no need for a physical bank account,because i have a mastercard with them,all my earnings are paid into revolut,and did not need any photo id.I buy my bitcoins from them and then transfer them to my exodus wallet.fees are really low also :)

Yeah paxful is good to buy from just buy from sellers with lots of good reviews as some want more money than you sent nd agreed upon but it is overall good

Holy cow - bitcoin is effing complicated. It's not just setting it up, it's all the fees that get added here and there. Wallet, exchange, verification - and then when you take the leap you discover a UK credit card purchase gets you a 24 hour cooling off. WTAF?
I guess it's just the first transaction but even so.
There should be a really simple guide here, step by step and list a few wallets and a few exchanges. So many searches to figure it out and going round in circles.
I was gonna recommend the thing to my mates but they won't have the patience.

well I did it - all through Exodus, dunno if rates good or not but whatevs. Avoid Paybis, bank accepted it but Paybis rejected every time

Btw. Ive been using the plain blockchain wallet for two years without any issues. Least hassle wallet Ive seen! And since I wont upgrade my OS on my mac its one of the few I can actually use. Just sayin, cause Ive seen how it is hated upon on the net. Guess its the competition that spread this lie.

Which bitcoin site to use

Exchanges still cant beat the price of btc I get on localbitcoinsdotcom. The only hassle is I need to order btc and go to my local national financial agency and pay a money transfer slip with cash. Thats not a prob tho, cause the teller is a very nice looking woman :P And btc is in my wallet in 3-6 hours after I pay.

Can I ask, does 'local national financial agency' roughly translate to the Union in the West or something similar?

It will depend on which country you are in. Look for the bank that is managing the most business in your region...

Seen this on one of the other platforms not sure if 100% correct but I would be wary of coinbase they are very intrusive closed my account a few months ago. They give details to HRMC depending on whether you’ve spent over the threshold limit.

Yes it’s for everyone, it’s because Bitcoin fees are through the roof at the mo and they are trying to negate the effects. They peaked Tues and seem to be dropping but not yet close to what everyone is used to - I expect it will be several days at least until they remove the restrictions

This error sometimes means that the funds available in your wallet are lower than the bitcoin miner fee after taking into account the amount your trying to send. Not sure if this is the case with your transaction though.

GG4 is my new fav strain, not spacey or trippy, good pain killer, nice body numb, and I sleep great off it..... not many glue carts around so this is great, also with the live resin

Good question, all the live resin we use is derived from the same strain as whats labelled on the cart. So the GG4 uses live resin extracted from GG4 buds and the GSC uses a different live resin extracted from GSC buds

Just ordered the Gorilla Glue, the 1st 50/50 cart was really good and they improve with every batch, best cart I've had was a GG from the states, always a nice high, looking forward to that unique live resin taste that comes with these unique carts
