Legally the bud may have legal amounts of toxins. But once in hash form it is concentrates. So cleanliness of starting material is imperative for good hash.
Water based extraction of resin - food for thought
Plastic screens are often used in bubble bag method. Bags used for months and years sometimes leaching micro plastics in the end product
Dry sift method does not have this issue and neither does static sift from dry
Also when pressing hash into rosin a lot of mesh material is found in the rosin compares to BHO for example. Many BHO under microscope is generally on paper cleaner of toxins when GCMS is used
