Most of it is mass produced shiet because they're strains you can grow awfuly and they still have a nose. They're also mould resistant but the albanians that grow them in council houses pack the plants in so tight there's still mould on the stems 95% of the time. The original cuts of these strains especially chem dog but also the manny dawg 2019 cut where insane probably the loudest smoke I've ever seen seconded only to the old old UK cheese cuts. If you want to try some well grown old school cuts look out for thc23's Ugorg bits he sometimes gets one of the last breeders to have the legit old gas cuts of chem/cheese/livers legendary UK breeders and the old seeds are impossible to get unless you know the right people

Long story short, the cuts were flooded but the mothers weren’t healthy so all commercial dawg phenos (manny cut” etc are extremely weak genetics now so they won’t produce as good as they used to, also the element of PGRS etc unless you pop a fresh chem/dawg seed, you won’t get the same dawg sadly unless it’s by a small scale breeder. All the original dawg clones are weak asf now.

Dawg 95 percent of the time is produced commercially by albanians and the vietnamese they usually run clones with giant yield as the main characteristic which they also happen to know the highest EC/PPM they can push throughout the growth cycle with there synthetic nutes & PGRs - HPS bulbs are often used also as they don't need to pay for electricity and the cost is cheaper than a LED fixture however this also helps produce fatter yield since they are no doubt more superior than LEDs.

I know of someone who went to pickup a box off an albo and each bud had white fluffy mold to the core, safe to say he got handed that shit back. They were also salt spraying ** it for a few months a year or so ago like it was the 2000s

I hear some rumours alot of dawg is imported from Albania but that's through the grapevine I can't confirm however they do seem to barracade and fill abandoned buildings such as warehouses, casinos, hotels full to the brim, I guess the guys they don't like get put on that task lol - it is a mafia though you can ring your local albo and have get what you need somewhere in Europe within 10 minutes lol

So many breeders sell dawg genetics nowadays however just like the amount of people growing it commercially 95 percent of the seeds are poor genetics

If you got some regular seeds from JJ @ top dawg seeds or a breeder who has the original cuts and stabilized it into either an IBL or BX line I promise you is it fire.

I have many people in my contacts for dawg locally only one of them is good for it and consistent why? He refuses to deal with the Albanians or anyone he suspects does.

Not all but most of the dawg on LB doesn't look great either imo or the price is high.

And to be honest half of the people I know would rather smoke stardawg as they know it's a heavy hitting indica and consistent if from the right source.

Had some cracking Cookie Dawg, and I specifically choose strains for how they wipe me out. Not sure of the vendor, but I'd be inclined to think it was what BBDoom had.

In some mild order of preference (but all are so good I'm recommending):-

Sensi mart 50/50 or 100% lr
Kid carti
Clean carts club (out of stock ATM)
Canadian imports
Dr extracts
MJ extracts
Dr distillate

Sn2d is meant to be insane but imported from the US. The above are all UK-UK vendors

In terms of what to look for, avoid full distillate if you want proper weed effects

Full live resin carts are ideal but can get clogged and need heating up in the winter which may not suit you if you're trying to be discreet. Rosin is also preferable but v rare on this site (at least in carts)

50/50 mixes are preferred for me to combat the above. They don't seem to clog ever tbh

Finally I'll mention to avoid branded disposables - way less quality control and they can have anything placed in them. The only exception would be for sn2d as they're established US importers that can prove validity of their products

I would recommend opening the cart and eating the contents get a dab out with a cocktail stick add some festive food and munch away, give it an hour before you go back for seconds as it will creep up on you if you are not used to edibles.

I've only had the spritz but I don't agree about the muted terps. Smells nice (agreed about the mimosa vibes), tastes nice, has a proper nice effect and is absolutely coated in full trichomes so you can tell it's been handled with care and not been fucked with. The smell after grinding is perfection. I think a lot of people now are smoking & trying bud that has sprayed terps and they're getting used to the intensity of flavour from that. You could be the best grower in the world and find it nearly impossible to grow bud that smells and tastes like some of these sprayed bits. All I know is the spritz is some fire and I can't wait to try more of your offerings. Gonna leave a proper in depth review later on

I don't think it's too far off man. Most of the big top shelf producers have grown dozens of seeds of just 1 strain to find their crown jewel pheno then spent 6 months perfecting the feed schedule and another 2 to 3 months curing the buds so it's hard to compare something like that to a homegrow operation, but what I will say is that the quality to price ratio it's fantastic and on a scale of all weed I'd give the taste an 8.5/10. I know if you see an 8.5 rating on an item here you're probably running the other way but I mean it on a proper scale of 0 being tastes like pondscum and a 10 being the best weed I've tasted in my life so an 8.5 is a massive compliment. I wouldn't say the spritz coats your mouth as strongly as some strains but the taste doesn't come across muted in any way and it does linger. Some buds on the market are a bit harsh, taste a bit green or don't seem clean but this spritz is a real clean moreish smoke

Not to be a kiss arse and I’m not way affiliated other than being a happy customer but I’ve honestly enjoyed every strain I’ve had from you. My friends have too. Some of the strains may not have kick your face terps but are always a very enjoyable smoke. I only ever pick to roll and it’s literally hashfingers everytime. Just shared a blunt of spritz with my pal and we’re currently walking the pup having a ball. Fired up another of the peach and that’s lovely too, no complaints at all.

Not to sound like a dick but sometimes there’s people that just don’t know what proper weed is. There’s so much stuff nowadays that’s sprayed with shit or messed with somehow and they get used to that. Anyways it just means there’s more for sale to the people like me that buzz when I see a new listing.

I’ve tried the Spritz, Cherrytini and LH2P and think they’re all great, good flavour on each and smoke well. Always keen to grab some of KiGs flowers when they come up and never been disappointed.

Hey mate. No, it definitely wasn't Spritz nor any of the others (Red Red, Cherrytini, LH2P) that you sent me. Whatever it was, it was completely off the charts in smell and taste and I would love to get more of it!

To be real honest with you though, I'm having a couple of small issues with some of the order. Don't get me wrong, they are all super-coated, look amazing and get me very nicely baked, but having a few small issues nonetheless. The Cherrytini is quite moist inside and really clumps together and feels a bit damp when I try to grind it, so I'm trying to dry that out a bit before trying it again. The first joint of it was okay on the inhale but not great on the exhale. Hopefully better when a bit drier. The Red Red looks absolutely phenomenal (totally one of the best looking buds I've seen all year), but I'm getting very little smell or taste from it, which is a bit heart-breaking compared to how she looks. Spritz is a bit more smelly/tasty and I do really like the taste/smell of the LH2P. I think you were right about it being the strain I was searching for from last time. I did prefer the previous batch, but I had medium/large buds then compared to popcorn this time, which might be the difference.

I really hope you don't take my critique too much to heart, mate. I know you work super hard and produce some crazy good weed. Maybe a couple of these strains are just not for me.
