Hey Biggas. I was lucky enough to win Mushbar's generous recent giveaway and wanted to follow up with a review.

I joined LB to buy weed and hash mainly, I have used mushrooms in the past but not for quite a while. I've had a mixed history with mushrooms as I fucking hate eating them, the taste, the texture just don't work for me at all. As a result I tend to wolf them down as quickly as possible just to get that part over with. Sometimes that has meant I have taken way too much at once and led to longer trips than I'd have liked. I've never had a bad trip as such, but sometimes by the 6th/7th hour I've had enough and it can get tiring. This is not the review of someone with a lot of recent 'shroom experience.

The bar arrived on Saturday morning in excellent condition, it was packed well and in flawless condition. I had a few mates over on Saturday as the mrs was out for the night and we split the bar between us, three of us split it evenly (two rows/eight blocks each). One of my mates wolfed the lot at once and I just ate half along with my other mate. It tastes really nice, not only do you not taste or notice the 'shrooms but the chocolate is really nice.

The giggly phase started really quickly, especially so for the person who did it all at once. Within 15 minutes or so we were all feeling the effects to once extent or another, I had forgotten how amazing it feels when you're coming up on them. The two of us that had some left finished the rest, as my other mate was talking about visuals and we weren't getting any. Within 15 minutes of eating the rest they started, nothing too intense at first; colours were more vibrant etc. It built in intensity, it's hard to describe it effectively, but it took me to an amazing place mentally. I was laughing a lot and just felt at peace in a way I hadn't for a while. I'd say overall it was a solid three hour or so trip, which for me is about the perfect length. Has anyone ever eaten a whole one of these in one go? Would love to know what that was like.

In conclusion if you're looking to get into 'shrooms again, even if it's just a one-off nostalgia trip then these bars are great. Especially if you are not a fan of consuming mushrooms in their natural form. I have been reading a lot about microdosing on LB and these would be perfect for it. I would have thought a whole bar would be a lot even for the more experienced psychonauts. They are great in a social setting, everyone was together enough to hold a conversation. Most of the time.
