So it's been 3 days and they haven't been online. I read after 72 hours ill receive a refund? Just wondering if me requesting to cancel slowed the process down?

Its if the order has not been marked as Sent on your order page after three days (not including weekends I believe) then it will auto cancel and your funds will be returned.

Hi guys first time placing an order. When on the payment page there is a QR code. I sent money to the link in that qr code. Have I sent money to the wrong person? Basically sent money however have no orders placed. If I've done it wrong, how do I get the money back to send to the right person?

Your wallet probably sets it automatically, i usually select it myself with my wallet but few weeks back i didn't, my wallet set fee too low and i waited more than 24hrs for a single confirmation lol.

The addresses dont match on the sent part and send one you circled(just an observation, dunno if it means fuck all). Has your order changed to paid yet bud 🤞
You can link the order to your account after the fact. I believe you do this via the payment screen that you have a screenshot of below, but I don't recall the exact steps. Possibly under the "More exchange options" button?

It can take between minutes and hours to confirm depending on all sorts of black magic. Check the transaction in your wallet to see if it's confirmed yet.

It can take sometime for the payment to go through depending on how busy the Blockchain is & the fee you paid.
You can make purchases without being signed in, if you were signed in then the order wont show in your order history. If that's the case it won't cause any issues, you just have less visibility/can't dispute or review.

I've never had this happen to me before but I ordered some bud and it's been 2weeks and I haven't received it yet. How do I go about this? I did send a message saying I haven't received it yet and they said it'll be with me in a couple of days it's now been 5 days making it 2weeks.

Use the dispute button on your order page and don’t delay or it will time out- this protects your coin. If the product turns up you simply cancel the dispute- there is no stigma in this and the process is what makes LB safe & great👍

You are quite right that some disputes can’t be proved ie where the vendor insists they sent it and you insist you didn’t get it. Others are obviously ‘fraudulent’ ie where the vendor has disappeared from the site leaving multiple orders unsent.
In the first case, LB uses an algorithm to provide auto settlement. It works on ‘reputation’ of each party which is built up based on length of time here, number of buys/sales, voting history, number of disputes etc. It works like this because there is no proof either way but also it is far too easy to open new accounts to make false claims.
It then calculates a percentage refund.
In cases of fraud, LB pays out 100% refunds.
LB will investigate to a certain point. For example where you are trying to contact a vendor to agree a resolution, but dispute because they won’t answer you then LB will encourage both parties to find a resolution.
And that’s the point really- good comms solves everything and most disputes get settled between the buyer and seller (or the post delayed package finally arrives!). The dispute process protects your coin whilst you are communicating (the funds remain in escrow through this period) and it’s the reason LB works because you can order from a large range of sellers with a good degree of confidence.
It’s not a perfect system, an innocent noob for example might be unhappy with only a % refund, but when you consider what it is we are buying it’s pretty bloody marvellous! 🤩

How long does transaxe take to confirm the bitcoin has been received by the sellers wallet? I'm new to this so any help would be great. It's been around an hour and my order is still showing as unpaid. Thank you for any help :)
Your coin goes to transaxe (then held in escrow) and they confirm the order to the vendor and back to you. Any delay is invariably on the blockchain, when your exchange confirms it that just means it has passed to the blockchain. If it’s quiet it can take seconds, longest one of mine was 14 hours…

Yeah if you look at their back posts they now do link to a range of recommendations. I’ve had a look at all of them and none come close to tempting me away from LB but hey- any port in a storm right? 🫣
