Your coin goes to transaxe (then held in escrow) and they confirm the order to the vendor and back to you. Any delay is invariably on the blockchain, when your exchange confirms it that just means it has passed to the blockchain. If it’s quiet it can take seconds, longest one of mine was 14 hours…

Can take anywhere from a few minutes to a solid few hours. My first order took a few hours, my second took less than an hour.
