Sorry to get political, but I hate what this Uk government have allowed to happen to our water. Privatisation and money for the boys overriding public health. Disgusting.

Chemicals. Treatment centres. We are one of the only countries to privatise water. The whole of our infrastructure is sold off to other countries. These water companies are raking it in for foreign investors
I used to work for my local water company in the call centre. One of my roles was debt collection, basically just setting up payment plans for people who were struggling to pay their water bill.
Interestingly, you can't actually cut anyone's water off, (unlike gas and electricity) because its classed as a 'basic human right', so we were basically told to get whatever we could from people in arrears.
I think the lowest payment plan I setup was about £1.50 a month, I used to do loads at £5.
"Hmm I think that might be a bit much Mrs. Jones, why don't we start at £5 instead..."
I quite enjoyed doing it. Felt a bit like Robin Hood! Haha.
Shitty job though, got fired in the end for always being late/hungover. ... but it had its moments.😅

I lived for 10 years in Costa Rica which has an entire natural aquifer system of life enhancing water filtered through a volcanic rock base that enriches it with minerals. Tastes wonderful and is often cited as one of the reasons Ticos live so long. Except it isn’t because it is untreated and therefore it will always ALWAYS have life forms in it! At one stage up to 90% of the population were infected with blasto-hominis which can cause blasto-cystosis for which there is no cure (I know because I have it 😔).
The only solution was to treat the water and it sure doesn’t taste as good. Plus you now have to pay for it so anyone outside of cities or towns still use untreated well water….

I used to drink from lakes and such as a kid. I wonder what nasties live in me, or all of us for that matter 🤔 Maybe ignorance is bliss. How do you cope with your infection? I've hear bacterial infections is a big problem in South America as well, as they use antibiotics for all sorts of things.
The parasite will basically live with me forever and won’t die until I do. Trouble is he’s a greedy little tyke and likes to suck up rather vital elements. We are fucked either way you either drink toilet water which has had cleaning products,shit,piss,pharmaceutical drugs etc,etc in it or drink bottled water that the plastics being leaching into it then that disrupts your hormones,decline in testosterone and high estrogen levels.
It’s quite easy to charcoal filter your drinking water in an inexpensive filter jug. I just have one next to the sink. It filters out all such things and the taste is vastly superior. Also prevents limescale build up in kettles etc 🤓👍

Didn't become fully liquid, fortunately! Apartment rental had a fridge too. Now they're just a bit fucked, and my easy portioning is equally fucked. But, I can get high in France and you can't go to jail if you eat the evidence! 🥳

Nepalese Temple Ball. Hands down the best hash I’ve ever smoked. If you get it I’ll buy it!
Malana cream would bring a smile to my face. Used to buy from the Rokerij in the dam in th 90s and find creative ways to bring loads home. Favourite out of many hashes over the years. I don’t count the modern x2 filtered powerhouses. They are a different ball game.

I got 50 g of commercial pollen few days ago. Also some royal Afghan. The commercial is 220 for 50 grams. The prices are coming down man. That is why so much solid is turning up on biggy. Even the green dealers are jumping on it cos there is a lot of top shelf shit going around. I received a hash menu from the gods a few days ago. I expect a 10 for 100euro to be top notch, otherwise Im not buying. If I dont get enough bang for my buck I get agitated af! And I know a thing or two about hash and Ive tried grade A of many varieties many times in the past. Thats why it sucks a LOT when I get B or C under A. And these days many seem to not know what is good hash and how to test if you got a good deal. Specially in the case when my standard of living is quite lower

I tried Isolator (with 7other varieties of skunk of course) powder from Gray Zone coffee shop in Dam and it knocked the f out of me and my then wife. We were plastered to the spot in which we smoked in for at least 2 hours. Went on 4 dinners that evening, it was insane :)

Yeah, I will be honest there is a definite "gap" between what my head imagined this would look like and what it actually is gonna look like 🤣🐰
*Disclaimer this is how I setup my dynavap in manner that gets me consistent hits and results for green and hash however it might not be to everyones preference 😊
Ok so what Mr plastic brick man is trying to show here is that I have as pushed the condenser further down the main body than you would expect, this forces more of the condenser into the tip increasing draw resistance without having to close or restrict the airport I drag on my Dyna like a hand rolled joint and this is what enables that multiple mouth to lung hits off a single heat session (in my belief)
Below that we have screens, you can use pretty much anything but I currently like the 15mm platform style one for increased airflow,.ease of positioning for reducing ovens size and cost as there really cheap.
To the right of that the ball is the amount of hash I use, if it's dry sift it then goes to look like on the right if it's a sausage one look left ☺️
The rest of the posts will be disjointed eventually I would imagine sorry for rambling but the RSO is definitely kicking in now

I use triple flame for outside or when using my Ti tip, for hash it heats up too fast for my liking hence why single tiddly flame 👍
Press the hash to the sides, it's the conduction of the heat that's gonna make it all work 😍
Does this method leave a very dirty oven DeadRabb1t? Or is it easy to clean?
I'm using the full oven with very light cotton bacon wrap which helps keep oven clean but would rather not have the cotton in there if I could help it.

It was fairly easy to clean out if I recall but tbh I haven't used a dynavap now for a while

Thanks, man - that's helpful. I can't comment much on your set up as I've never used or seen a Dynavap so not sure what the set up is like in standard form. But I think I get what you're saying. Am I right in thinking that there's only one type of Dynavap, just different models for different years? So if I was to buy one, I'd just go for the latest model, right? I think there's a 2021 model. I quite fancy having something that doesn't rely on battery power, both my Mighty's are old and battery life not so great now.
There are different dynavaps but they all operate in the same manner. The M series is the entry level Dyna experience, some people buy one and that's it. Others like myself get into the collection of tips and stems and start treating it like stoner Lego!
But yes buy a 21m as a starting point and see what you think ☺️

My 21 M just arrived today. Loved it straight away, first try. Watched a couple of utube demos, but thought it was fairly easy to get hang of. Have only tried flower, will have a closer look now at your set up for hash. But straight off I can see why people like the dynavap. Need to get the dynastash now….

I feel that the biggest thing that upped my hash game is actually with reflection pushing the condenser further in so I don't need to flutter. It takes one element of randomness out of the process and helps improve repeatability (in my little rabb1t head it does at least 🐰😏)

Definitely a few things I can change, I never moved the condenser down, and I was heating further down the tip than you are, I think I also need to buy a new lighter as my jet flames won’t let me adjust that small

It's turned me on to bitcoin and that has made a real difference to my finances and the way I see the world :)

the problem of the street is that there is not much choice, sometimes the quality is poor and the product is never weighed.. prices can vary significantly and above all I have no more age and time to go around.

I've been a member of so many different Weed forums and sites over the years. So many of them are just places for people to say "I'm smoking this, but you can't." This place is the complete opposite, if you see someone mentioning some amazing weed or hash you can buy it yourself within a few clicks. None of that gatekeeping you see elsewhere.
The community is also amazing, I've not been here that long but have already made friends. Most of the vendors I have dealt with have been absolute diamonds. I'm not in my 20s any more (or my 30s, sadly lol) and a lot of my mates who I grew up smoking with have quit. It's great to have a whole new bunch of people to bore with my weed talk.

I joined and my first choices of Smokers Inc & Premium Extracts robbed me completely. Except they didn’t because of the amazing Escrow Suisse so not surprisingly I persisted. My next two orders where not good experiences. Sticking with it I finally came across the likes of Smoggyman, SuperHans & UK Dispensary and all shifted on its axis!

I do agree, although PremiumExtracts had 100+ sales and a 9.8% rating and they still took me and a good few others. I accept that if I want to buy illegal product online then it comes with an elevated level of risk which is why I stuck with it. I was sceptical that Escrow Suisse was even a real thing and was stunned by just how efficient they are. I’ve had to work harder and wait longer to get my money back from Amazon! :)

My top vendors are Urban Leaf Company (pure service and quality), MJ Concentrates (the same), UK CannaFarm (grass roots good ol' boy with fantastic organic weed), Oilman (great RSO and some top shelf herb), Dope Chef (great edibles), and Super Hans (a new find for me, but a connoisseur and professional to say the least). However, I've had only one bad experience and Escrow Suisse looked after it. Definitely life changing!

After years of joints (20+) am trying to move to vaping for health benefits (and to stop me straying back onto the fags)
I bought the xmax starry and it does the job but the taste is rubbish and its not satisfying like a joint with tobbaco. Plus at higher temps i ended up coughing.
The taste is always the same no matter what product and temp i use - to me it doesnt even taste like weed and solid was just a waste.
From what ive been reading its probably worth me upgrading. I was thinking portable and crafty/mighty as ive heard they are closest to a joint experience.
Either that or go desktop like the plenty or sticky bricks but then id need to keep using starry when out and about.
As an ex smoker i guess im always going to crave tobacco but do you think the upgrade is worth it?

I’ve been researching hash in it but everyone seems to add roisins and wax in using the dyna coil which captures the melting liquid. Some people add hash in and use hemp fibre. As I’m not 100% on what works best I just pipe hash! Dynavap has a bit of a learning curve but there are loads of YouTube videos showing how to get the most out of it.

I was exactly the same! I bought The Mighty a couple of weeks ago and have not smoked a baccy joint since. I'm still getting used to it but it's doing the job. Lots of advice out there for using the Mighty like doing a burn off before you first use and using the dosing capsule. I would recommend it even with its hefty price tag. Unfortunately I'm still craving rolling a baccy joint and probably always will lol!

Absolutely correct about the battery life of the tinymight. I guess that’s the payoff of the big hits
My main is Mighty plus I use dosing capsules with ground herb and my Xmax Pro V3 that I use as a backup for whatever reason lol. I'm an ex smoker about 15 a day and joints 20 or so a day. Now just vape weed.
Another Dynavap fan, small bong, tip and coil kit for wax / shatter. Edibles add couch lock if required.

You can negate much of the vape coughing if you filter it through a water bong. If you buy an adapter that matches the size of your bong stem- (one with an upright stem is better so it slots in and you don’t have to hold it in place) to fit the mighy- you shouldn’t cough- can take bigger hits, and it will definitely get you high
Big waste of money, don’t bother with dry herb vapes. You won’t get as high, will cough like a mofo because of the excruciating tickle throat effect of vaping dry herb, and will be back on the joints feeling like a mug for wasting money after trying to convince yourself dry herb vaping is alright and worth all the cash you have thrown at it. Can’t speak for the carts….perhaps they are better, but some seem to think they may be just as carcinogenic…..

Moreover, I did briefly receive a cannabis prescription at the start of last year to document the experience, and provide a justification for possession should i get a knock on the door.
Having dealt with a handful of weed clinics in the uk i can confirm that every single one of them advised that medical cannabis was for vapourisarion only to maintain legal status, but that S and B were deemed the medical industry standard, having been tested for safety.
That’s not to suggest that other vapourisers are unsafe- but it seems sensible to stick with something that works and recommended by medical professionals.

Useful for people who are sensitive to the various metals and plastics used in other vapes.

i did neither- i made the purchases beforehand before doing a bit of research and trying a few other products and it was fortunate that they happened to be the products that were universally recommended.
Once again, i’m not stating that other vapes are ineffective or unsafe- but they do happen to be the ones recommended by medical professionals, have the best reviews, and in my experience have been the easiest to use, maintain, and provide the best highs.

You will time need adjusting to vape. It will be less (throat) hitting, but I am surprised you don't get good taste. I think you get better taste with vaping. Keep it to a lower temp though. The higher the temp, the lesser the taste. Also make sure there is no ABV left in your device. My experience is if you have only a little bit of old vaped bud, can make the taste very different and unpleasant. I agree with other biggaz you might like the Dynavape the best if you are a ex smoker.
If you have sufficient calories in the extraction device a high temp extraction can contain more flavour as it gets the whole terpenes range in one pull, it only tastes naff of it takes a while to get the heat through the flower meaning the first few pulls are just getting the herb warm,.I find things with lots of hot balls work well 😉
I have a mighty and a crafty. Both are good but if getting just one definitely get the mighty. The battery lasts a lot longer and the cooling chamber is bigger. The crafty, for me at least, is a luxury item that enables one to craftily vape where one ought not to be doing that, like outside the office for example. The mighty is your loyal and dependable workhorse.

I'm hoping that the borgs will solve this in time, but in the meantime I know that algorithms seem to help wall visibility when threads have posts.

I'm with you TinTin, been using #UK since they started and haven't been disappointed yet.
I would argue they are better priced than others, considering no hash is over $52 1/8 and free post - Green Team is only an added $2.50 for post but I'd say like for like hashes are a bit more pricey and fewer options; Hashishin is great but the hash is a different market, old school and lovely but note hugely potent; Drugs Inc hit the spot big time last year with a lovely bit of Lemon Ammo but haven't had anything that decent since imo, the caramellow wasn't caramellow for example, and their comms isn't great from my experience; other than that, not many sellers with many options - only other that comes to mind is spenny with added min $7 post...

I would argue they are better priced than others, considering no hash is over $52 1/8 and free post - Green Team is only an added $2.50 for post but I'd say like for like hashes are a bit more pricey and fewer options; Hashishin is great but the hash is a different market, old school and lovely but note hugely potent; Drugs Inc hit the spot big time last year with a lovely bit of Lemon Ammo but haven't had anything that decent since imo, the caramellow wasn't caramellow for example, and their comms isn't great from my experience; other than that, not many sellers with many options - only other that comes to mind is spenny with added min $7 post...

Hashishins is coming through customs, so that's not a regular place to order for me, and DUIK don't describe their goods properly and have sold me absolute rubbish last two purchases - the current DUIK berber for instance gives no high at all, so they have been VERY incosistant in the last 18 months. Neither of them are competition for Hashtag - for my needs. Obviously everyone will make up their own mind,.

Alright Biggaz. My first post on the site, having joined a few months ago. Looking for some advice on most effective method to vaporise hash.
I don't smoke my weed any longer, instead switched to a Mighty a few years ago and then added a Volcano. Since joining LB I've purchased some really nice hash (Bigg up to DIUK) and wondered if anyone can give any tips on the best way to consume for a non-smoker. I've been using a water pipe with this hash, but would rather avoid combustion if possible (but it was good). I've seen Dynavap mentioned on here with reference to hash, but when I check it out online it seems to be for vaporising flower? I'm sure someone here can put me right. Cheers

Thanks for the comments and suggestions everyone. Sounds as though there isn't a perfect device available for vaping hash, maybe I'll need to stick with the water pipe. Look forward to DR's tutorial on the Dyna / Vapman, think I might like to give this a go. I also like PB's old school suggestion of getting the knives out, it had crossed my mind....
I have the volcano aswel and have tried everything to get a good vape from hash and nothing has worked,i think it needs more heat,i have tried alot of dif methods but cant get any good clouds or even a good high,hopfully u will have more luck and let me know if u do
Yea i have tried that and tried using the extract wire wool,i dont like extracts in the volcano either i jus dont think it has enough heat for hash or extracts,its amazing on flower tho and can get a very nice high but iv had no luck with hash,i even tried using my already vaped flower mixed with hash and did like a sandwhich style with hash in middle and already vaped flower on top and bottom,would defo like a good hash and extract vape machine tho

230 is fine if it's conductive heat, the problem with convection and hash is the density of the hash itself doesn't allow the hot air to pass through.

You can also make a "sandwich" with a layer of hash between flower in a lot of vapes.

If you get the adjustabowl dynavap (2020/21) it works better than previous with the closed up bowl. I gave up and got the coil and now vape concentrates and get knives out for hash.

I look forward to seeing your tutorial. I tend to use the Dynavap for weed and stick hash in a pipe. I can get hash to vape in a Dynavap if i go over the click, but strangely I find some types of hash don’t taste as nice vaped. I know you get a different flavour profile vaping and for me, I don’t like it in some instances. Might be a personal thing! Cheers!

Gotta laugh when I see these guys, esp. reviews and retailer vlogs on YouTube. You've seen them too. Working that carb like it actually is work, like someone operating a rocker switch, or playing a piccolo rather than simply pulsing a finger over a little hole. Perhaps that's what they have in mind.

I'm glad restraint, budget and use of other vapes over the last twenty years (most still working) means my only model is still a 2016 TI-Woody which has processed serious amounts of everything and, kept clean, still gives its all, especially through glass. I was considering the Dynacoil, but for solids rather than runnier options, and so far general consensus doesn't impress over the hemp wool method.
I'll replace the tip sometime, maybe get another set of screens. Perhaps next year.

Most YT vape reviews make me squirm, the reviewers seem to think they are 18th C showmen but somehow trained by USA shopping channel presenters, urgh.
Dynavap - I've blazed for 50 yrs, spliffs & pipes until, like you, vapes arrived. Have tried most but don't like complex parts, fiddly operation, batteries etc as retired from a hi-tech industry and want "simples" now.
The dyna recreates the whole flame & stick thing in the fingers memory for me. So 99% they are the thing for me. The coil is a waste of time for solid, hash that is. The fuss of dewaxed hemp fibre is inded a pain so I now use a Boundless CFX for hash, though crumbling some hash into a Dyna with bud or shake works well but messes up the flavour & hit ofc.
To those who have difficulty with Dyna, don't over think the method, just try all variations of packing, rolling, heating until you find what suits you - it's a very personal thing. I pack loose with medium grind, use a large single flame jet lighter and "feather" the carb open/closed fairly fast, Works for me, a wondrous thing, I now have three 8-0
Polly - if you have overheated your clicker cap to the extent it glowed red, it's likely damaged and will never click at the correct temperature again, needs replacing.

Gotta concur with the shopping channel vibe you get. Those fanboys will grate before long, but you've helped their click commission by that point, tee hee.
Good point there friend, in that the steel builds and retains the temp better. With dry sift I find using two titanium screens at different heights offer perfect hash microdosing with no micro scooby dust coming thorugh on big pulls.
I love my Dynavap m 2020. Simple and stealth. Still like to toke a pure one now and again too. I clean it with pipe cleaners and alcohol liquid.

I want to love my Dynavap M but the fiddly little bastard resists all my advances. Maybe I’m a fat-fingered fool but I never seem to ‘play the same tune’ on the carb twice, which means sometimes I get an unexpectedly hard/hot hit and sometimes I get sweet bugger all!
And don’t get me started on the darn “click”. I will swear before a Grand Jury that mine does not click every time which usually results in overheating (glowing red hot being a clue!)
But it does like to tease- it’s very economical on the load and every 4th or 5th attempt I get a lovely draw that lures me back. I want to do that every time like I want to hit that great sweet spot golf shot every time but it continues to elude me.
It’s either a fiddly little temperamental piece of overpriced shit or a wonder of modern engineering. Dunno.....

Well put. It's both of those things, relative material pricing being a case in point. Pax may be considered the 'Apple' of vapes in form and (not that long ago) function but I raise a cynical eye at the cost of screens and novelty caps once the R&D and tooling costs have paid for themselves.
As for consistency of hit, the fact mine stopped clicking a few years ago and I rarely combust proves it isn't a necessity. Basic understanding of thermodynamics isn't as important as common sense, concerning how metal distributes and retains heat. It's not exactly living dangerously, but even my memory has the capability of stopping the heat before all fingers are used up. A single jet torch helps and I can usually smell when things are beginning to liven up.

Practice mostly. Triple jet torch imo is a necessity, and respect the click. I combust often but not enough to piss me off. Usually when I'm a bit stoned and don't !at it get to the click on the cooldown.
I usually get one wispy draw, and 2 decent clouds maybe 3 per cycle. I don't go for full extraction cos I like to use the avb. I hope you'll persevere with it. When you get it right, it's a great experience. I suppose I am a bit of a cultist though.

Combustion is an occupational hazard but as you say no biggy. I really like the dynavap and it has got me off tobacco easier than any other attempt I’ve tried to make. There have been multiple attempts. What a great vape.

Apologies if this has been asked previously (it would be good if there was a search field on lb!) But I have never vaped weed before I usually smoke just weed in a pipe. Does anybody recommend vaping and any vaporizers? Are brand names allowed to be mentioned? What a great site!!

Hi bud. I have 3 vapes and am fully converted. A crafty plus which is great for flower. A dynavap which I use for hash mainly and a xmax starry 3 which does both but not as well as either of the other 2. I'd definitely recommend vaping. Much cleaner high than combustion and your product definitely lasts longer. Think choice of vape comes down to what you plan on using it for and how regularly etc. There's a good sub on reddit called vaporents that has plenty of info but personally if I was just going to have the one I'd go for the crafty plus.
Thank you ARTHURLEE I recognise some of those names in my searches. Cleaning is a bugbear for me and the Arizer Solo 2 looks good on this front. Some of these might be on the pricey side but I think to have a good experience you need to spend a bit when it comes to vaping.
Hi, I’ve smoked for 30 odd years and gave up tobacco last July. I pipe hash and I vape weed ( and some hash) through a Dynavap. There is a learning curve, but, I’ve not craved a cigarette like I would before. I think it’s because the dynavap is similar to smoking a joint. That’s my view anyway!

Hi, vaping hash works pretty well in the dynavap. I add it on its own not with weed. The one thing is that you need to experiment a bit. Some hash that tastes great in a pipe can taste less pleasant in the vape. It might be to do with the way the vape extracts the terp profile ( maybe. Who knows!). Still gets you mashed though!
I’m happy with hash in my journey pipe at the moment because it does the job and is really easy to clean but I’m still interested in all these other possibilities. The idea of concentrate pens is occupying my time at the moment but the cost of concentrates and the additional cost of coils etc is putting me off a bit. When I get overwhelmed with CPAS, cannabis paraphernalia acquisition syndrome, I tend to have a pipe and get high to forget about it! :)

It's pricey, but it's well worth it. You can even set your preferred temp and vaping profile on your phone.
I'd recommend that you get some cheap shake and use it as a medium for well crumbled hash. You get a lot of bang for your buck that way. :-)

Hi Nej, I ended up buying an Arizer Solo 2 and after a learning curve I prefer vaping bud during the day and having a pipe of hash and/or bud on a night. Suits me fine. Solo hits are very cool clean flavoursome and mellow even on high temps. Easy to clean. Half of what I would put in a pipe can last half hour or more with about 20 draws. Amazing. :)

Yeah I have tried that and it does work but I find a bong hit much more satisfying due to the speed of delivery and makes me cough less, surprisingly;) I recently bought a slug 33 rosin press and a dr dabbed boost evo as would like to have more of a one hit wonder experience than a continuous stream of smaller hits
I'm intrigued by the notion of distillates and shatter, but I'm a bit of a chicken. I don't do edibles either. I prefer to regulate my buzz, especially with sativa dominant varieties. I get anxious when things get too trippy. I put it down to some bad blotters I had in my reckless youth. It even stopped me from enjoying shrooms. I stopped doing that stuff 40 years ago, but the experience has left me feeling the need to be in control.

All you need to do is vape some cbd first then you won’t get that feeling;) cbd buds or isolate mixed 1:1 is good
Hi Nej, edibles can be hard to regulate I agree but distillate and concentrates would be easier to dose in my opinion because it’s not all or nothing. I haven’t tried them yet but simply have a very very small drag on distillate pen or dab a very very small piece of concentrate and wait a while to see what happens. Don’t like it? It’s inhaled it won’t last for hours. One day maybe? :)
I used to smoke spliffs, gave up baccy. Weed in a pipe took a while to "do it" for me (missed the baccy I realise) then one day I regretted not using a pipe all my life!! Love it! I have bought arizer solo II and I'm at that not "doing it" for me stage again. I have one vape then think ok now I'll have a proper smoke in a pipe. Point is I feel I would need to vape a lot more to equal one pipe! I just need more practice and usage I think (Damn what a chore!). Maybe vape for day and pipe for night? :)
Mighty vapes are best imo. Also remember you can hold the vapor in for at lease 3 seconds because it’s not smoke;)
I splashed out on a mighty after reading this thread. It definitely is better flavoured and hits harder than a Pax. I love the dosing capsules too. I only had 2 caps of Amnesia haze last night, and then ended up having loads of epiphanies .. all forgotten by this morning. lol I'm very pleased with it.
Now you tell me about the mighty, I can't afford that one too!! I'm a bit ocd about cleanliness and solo II looked preferable tbh. Anyway I won't give up on vaping as I can see the advantages. HNY :)

There is also the crafty which is cheaper due to a smaller battery and I would imagine the same vapor quality. There are second hand ones on eBay quite often. Pricey but you double your weed efficiency and if you spend £1 a week on rizla then after 5 years it would have paid for itself.
