I was wondering what everyone’s interpretation is of the old white ash.
Proper flush, organic, perfectly cured, better quality?
My understanding was that it meant that the plant had had a proper flush and had flushed salts and nutrients out. But having smoked organically grown, two week flushed flower in a pipe and seen the dark ash I felt that perhaps there is more myth to this. ( Especially if you research into studies on flushing ).
After doing a bit of reading on the old white ash, it seems like the only consistent idea is that white ash is a sign of efficient combustion.
So wetter bud might ash grey/black but so too can very resinous bud. Pipes tend to produce darker ash as do tighter joints.

Personally i think it's complete nonsense. White ash can be nasty and black ash can be great, it's completely strain dependant.
More importantly, it's a question of combustion. You can get any plant matter to burn white if you get it hot enough....hence "white hot". It's simply a case of using a higher temperate flame and bingo, what was black is now white.
If you're smoking a spliff and it's got black ash you've got two potential reasons;
1) the weed is wet, i.e it hasn't been dried properly and likely not been cured at all = dog shit
2) the weed sticky because it's full of trichomes and burns slow, appearing to be black because it hasn't completely combusted = good shit
Take No.2 and put one of those windproof lighters on it, (the ones that look like a bunson burner) and bingo....white ash.
If i had a pound for every time i've had to bite my lip with people talking about black ash and flushing i'd have about....well.... £45, but seriously, I grow in hydro, where arguably you don't even need to flush and i still do with RO water for 10 days, then dry for at least 2 weeks and cure for at least 8, and sometimes, yes, there are still certain phenos that will produce black ash.

Not to nitpick, but "white hot" comes from the colour of a substance when you heat it, just as "red hot" does - you'll notice as you heat a substance (particularly metals) it'll start to glow with heat, first red, then peaking at white before it melts or evaporates. "White hot" or "red hot" have nothing at all to do with the colour of the ash left after you burn something.
Mostly myth for me though there is the BLACK CRISPY AS FUCK ASH.

Its a myth man, all comes down to the fineness of the grind and moisture content of the bud.
Take a joint from your stash and let it go bone dry and compare it to a joint of the same weed that still has a bit of spring to it when you squeese it. The dry one will be white ash.

You also have to factor in that tobacco will naturally burn white too, so depending on how much you use in your spliff will depend on how consistently you see white ash on top of every other reason as to why it can happen. Dazzler easily has the best explanation.
Ash colour can be an indicator of quality, but it's not the only one, and black ash doesn't make a product instantly shit.

This has been on my mind since I bought some of Real D’s, shake. I blitzed the shake in my coffee bean grinder and mixed it with some bud. White ash every time and a clean burn all the way down to the roach.
I assumed it was the bud, but when I ran out, I resorted to Real D’s, shake and it burned exactly the same, clear white ash and no interruptions during the smoke.

But there is no evidence that white ash is due to flushing. I have smoked organically grown, 3 weeks flushed pure and had grey ash. White ash just means there’s has been an efficient burn. Very resinous bud can cause dark ash.
Absolutely insane how people are saying white/black ash doesn't matter. I bet those that are saying this add tobacco into their joints.
A joint by definition is made up of 2 or more things so I'm pretty sure joints are meant to be a mix.
Probably blunt or doobie. I maybe wrong. It would just make sense that a joint is made from 2 things :)

I’ve not tried trying to vape hash in the Angus but with the highest temp being 220

The Angus can actually go up to 230 if you set it to 220 then hold the button down during your sesh for a 10 degree boost!

Haha don’t worry it’s safe, it’s the first one I got but back then it lost out to the baccy spliffs but now I’m baccy free and enjoying the vapour.

So I got the vape cotton stuff and put some Lebanese into the Angus. ( Hash nestled in the cotton inside a dosage capsule ). The Flavour was incredible!

The Purpl Pro is meant to be pretty good. Handheld but only +-2% off of proper lab testing. Genuinely considering buying myself so I can a number listed with each strain. Strength can be subjective but if a strain comes up as +25% everyone will know its divine!

So I ordered seeds from a UK company, didn’t go for the stealth option.
Anyways I put the tracking number into the system ( Royal Mail ) and it said they tried to deliver but no one was home.
Someone was home all day and no “ sorry we missed you “ letter was left.
Now my mind is wondering if the postie has nicked them or they’ve been opened and want to see if I turn up for them…not sure as this hasn’t happened before.
Any ideas ma biggaz??

For me it has to be some Bruce Banner #3 from 1e hulp in the dam all the way back in 2017. I've never been able to recapture that one. It was a skunky, kind of gassy & fruity type all rolled into one with such a unique flavour profile to finish. The high was second to none. Wiped me right out. Left me looking at the world with my eyes so bulged they were basically closed. They say you'll never recapture that first high, this one took me above and beyond.
For sure! It flew under the radar quite a bit and I think it's unique musk and it's face melting is why.

ESB - extra special bud , Old times #2 and S4 - Skunk 4 ways. S4 by far was the best I have ever had even to this day sadly it was a special made breed so will never have the oppurtunity to try it again :(

Absolutely loved that strain. I remember queuing for a long time as I was there for the cannabis cup (2006). Grey Area’s queue was ridiculous on a normal day!

got an oz like that in the late 90's, had the potent lavender smell and taste. think it was a bit on the indica pheno side. very dark purple and when you snapped the buds in half the core was almost black. amazing bag appeal. really strong and tasty stuff too

The best strain I've ever smoked was Skywalker OG about 5 years ago. It was my first time smoking a strain I knew the name of and it was every bit as good as I thought it would be. I wish I could go back and get Zs off them
It's a toss up between bubba kush and amnesia haze for me. Had some bubba for the first time a few months back and it was a gorgeous body high. Delicious body rushes from it. Bought some again recently but doesn't have the same quality of effects unfortunately. Maybe because of different phenotypes 🤷🏻♂️.

As far as dominant sativa’s goes,I’ve always had a smile when bopping home with a bit of Amnesia in my sky.

I'd go with either MAC by citizen stash or wedding crasher by BLKMRT both outstanding. I also had a bit of alien sin mint cookies by BLKT, I kid you not the bud was bluish instead of purple, all these strains were from a couple years ago when I was living in Canada.
Gotta be some LA Confidental I got from Dam, Grey Area back in 2010 now 😫 and Chocolope when I saw it.

Hey Biggas. A lot of us share the weed we love on this site so I thought it might be interesting to mix things up and see which strains don't do it for you.
I'll kick things off with Runtz. I like Zkittles and I like Gelato, but for some reason I have never really enjoyed Runtz. I think it's a combination of two good strains that somehow produced a worse one. Just my opinion of course, interested to hear what the rest of you think.

The Brazilian sativa element is too racy and the Indian indica just melts you. It’s always an intense Indica v Sativa battle.
Usually with hybrids I get the sativa effect then it chills into indica but white widow pummels me with both from the get go and leaves me meditating to the ganja gods with tai chi breathing to alleviate me from the poisonous kiss of White Widow.

I was going so say mimosa, no matter how good it is, those orange terps remind me of burning rubber. Strange.
So glad I’m not alone in hating mimosa terps. The first time I smelled/tasted it, I genuinely thought the weed was bogus. Like it had been artificially flavoured with something nasty. Then when I got good mimosa it was the exact same terps. Not for me like.

I like Mimosa for the effect and I don't mind the taste. I am not keen on some of the other strains that taste similar like Tangerine Dream so I can see where you're coming from. Citrus strains can be hit and miss on the terps front.
I think Mimosa is the only strain taste wise that lives up to the hype. 90% of weed tastes to me exactly what it is- heated vegetation. All the “mouth watering “ descriptions completely pass me by…occasionally I get pine bathroom cleaner but heyho…

I hear you, I’d say I’m less of a flavour hunter too and more just looking for ways to encourage variety. I’ve definitely been let down by mouth watering descriptions a lot, but at the same time been surprised a lot too. I’m not really sure how much truth there is in all this supposed terp nuance either tbh…

I definitely taste different flavours. And Mimosa makes me sick 😂 Saying that I usually taste weed as it smells until I’ve smoked a couple spliffs. Then it’s hit or miss. Weird 😂 That’s the wonderful thing with Cannabis. The variety is astounding so everyone and their preferences are catered for 😁
Bang on, I’m not into any tangey variants either. I accidentally bought some expensive import bud a few weeks ago that had tangey/mimosa heritage. The bud was clearly excellent in every department, probably well worth the money, but the terps ruined it for me. Just tasted artificial, almost like a nicotine vape or something. Different strokes and all that.
Hate the taste but iv yet to find a strain that is almost comparable to taking codine for feel good factor. I’ll smoke dry straw for that

Super silver haze. Smelled like cats piss and had no body high. Muscles felt restless and uncomfortable.
Way back I got some free seeds with the seeds I ordered. NYC diesel they were, so I grew them and was so disappointed, it tasted awful. Haven't really gone for diesel since. Have smoked loads of diesel cross.
Everest is another, it's not that I dislike the taste/high etc, but I find if I'm on it for multiple days then it really brings my mood down.

I've not tried the Tropicana strains, but I do agree about the Tangies as I don't get on with the taste of them either.

At it's best, it is hard to better. I have had some good tasting examples but they are becoming rarer.
The genetics are laden with problems so it is difficult to get the correct pheno from seed. But if you have the correct clone (as is the case with chemdawg) and it is grown and cured adequately, it is a very nice smoke imo.

It's completely possible I've not had the best versions but also maybe just a taste or body chemistry thing where for whatever reason those strains don't do it for me. I'm unlikely to test the theory any further by buying more when there's a myriad of sweeter options at LB that are more up my street. The world would of course be boring if we were all the same.

To be fair to the vendors on here I've not had any of the strains I've mentioned from anyone on LB. There's definitely more exciting strains to me available here so I'm unlikely to backtrack just to make sure I don't like it though.
We got some fresh zkittlez in. I really dislike haze tho just smells of roach spray honestly . Idk how it got so famous

Stardawg 100% was the only thing I could get hold of for the longest time and just absolutely sickened myself with it. Can’t stand it now would prefer literally anything else over it

I've just been reading a post on RQS, and I'm debating trying it out.
It was basically saying, that now that the weather is getting better (uk). I could get some decent compost and planters. I could grow some autos outside? I was thinking about doing it in my garden but I've got a neighbour that over looks our garden.
I was looking at the seeds on RQS they look good. I've never tried growing before but might give it a go . Do you think it will work? Cheers

I always get my seeds from seedsman usually go for 00 autos which generally average out at around the 3 month cycle. If you are going for outside and you have a nice area with good sun you will get something out of them try to time it so last 6 weeks get the most daylight hours, a lot depends on how you care for them, it's all goldilocks just enough of everything but not too much or too little, this gets easier with experience so the sooner you start the better you become.
As for being overlooked by nosey neighbours you can take the 'just don't give a fuck' attitude and chance it or if you think they may cause you problems try companion planting with things that provide a screen in their direction, if you grow other plants like tomatoes then your sudden interest in gardening can be explained. Also as a caveat don't expect "cali" type buds as you will soon come to realise that these results are usually manipulated for appearance at the cost of quality imo.
All in all I'd say its worth a go, what else are you gonna be doing?

agree re ducks foot , its really doesnt look like a cannabis plant until it flowers and then it does look much more like one. Can smell very strong. there are feminsised autos available which I would recommend for a first time grower.
I agree with the small greenhouse , you can get an up right one for about £45 . can get far too hot in one though and stresses the plants , also if pests get in they run riot. you can spray before they flower though.

They genuinely are a good choice for guerrilla grows in the back garden. Decent yield for the size too. Alternate them with some tomato plants so they blend in. The only reason I stopped growing them myself is as the kids got older they started asking awkward questions. My boy still thinks I used to dry onions in the attic!!!

This anonymity thing sucks sometimes, I've got 100s of seeds and would gladly give some away to a first timer 😞. And yes 100% be careful of the neighbour, be great if u could get them out of their view but if not maybe try grow some other plants around them to hide them if u can 🤷🏼♂️. No matter what anyone says here, you wont know until u try it so be careful, give it a go and get the experience 💪🏼.

I was curing cheese back in 07 before anyone even thought of making daft labels and logos and packs, before dinafem had probably even heard of cheese lmao. and this was the hardest hittin indica we could get and I still dont know a better one. Purple punch and ice cream cake havent really got nothing on it still. I personally think they havent tested it right because its the hardest hittin couch locking strain that I know to the point where you cant lift your arms. Thats a pure indica to me and thats exactly what cheese does so dont believe everything you read on the internet buddy. Theres no way its a hybrid load of bollacks.

Think about getting 3.5g of shrooms, Spaceman has them for 25 bucks.

Shrooms are more wholesome than canna, not by much granted, the euphoric blissful highs canna does better imo, however if you want a warm fuzzy feeling eminating from your belly, then micro-dosing shrooms can't be beaten.
You can micro-dose and cut down on the smoke easy.

Weed has never helped me sleep, often the oposite. However, Magnesium is the answer, buy some epsom salts and have a bath with them in just before bedtime. Or take a magnesium supplement before bed. I'm 100kg and I take 400mcg of Magnesium Citrate or Orate and I'm away 20 mins later.
I find a good indica before bed really helps me get a decent nights sleep. If it's bud you want then maybe check out The Gentlemen Dealers. They have a decent selection of indica heavy strains in stock - Candy Krush, Grandaddy Purple and Berry Burst are all indica dominant. I have smoked the Berry Burst before, it has quite a unique, earthy taste but provides a decent stone. I hope you find what you're looking for, l also rely on weed for a good nights sleep.

I vape weed due to insomnia. I suffer from idiopathic insomnia and very bad Restless Leg Syndrome which affects my entire body (even during the day during particularly bad bouts). Without weed, I don't sleep. Doctor's solution would be a fuck load of opioids, which I don't want when there's a more natural and safer solution available.
Things I've read/discovered about using weed for sleep:
- Older, slightly drier weed is supposedly better for inducing sleep. Don't ask me why or how, I don't know. And, to be fair, I vape a cheap shake which is a little older and drier and it works wonders.
- Lower dosages work better for sleep. My personal experience also backs this up, higher dosage = buzzed, lower dosage = drowsy. I like to feel like I've had a couple of pints of beer, at that point I sleep well.
- As much as they suck, take regular T-breaks. I do two 2-week T-breaks per year. I get the impression I should actually be doing them slightly more regularly, but it seems to be working for me.
- At the risk of starting a massive argument, there's not much evidence that strain makes much — if any — difference. However, the article I read that said this did concede that different terp profiles might make a difference and that was something that hadn't received much testing.
- Weed-induced sleep isn't as restful as natural sleep, and you probably won't dream while you're under the influence. My goal is to have JUST enough weed to get me through the "danger zone" of the night: 3am-5am. If I wake during that time then I won't get back to sleep, but if I take too much weed I'll be groggy and badly rested by the time the alarm goes off.
Also a second vote from me for magnesium, which is what I used before I discovered weed. It helped me a lot with my sleep, my Restless Leg Syndrome, and also an autoimmune skin condition I've suffered from my entire life. Only problem is it can give you the shits. Different forms of magnesium can be gentler on the stomach but then they're less bio-available and so you have to take more. My tips
Make sure you got alcohol for a weekly clean if heavy user as keeps the taste supreme.
Find a temp that works for you. Generally I start all strains at 155 and work up in 7-10 increments to maximise different flavours.
For maximum potency and effect though I find you have to go to 181. If I do this I do it from the start.
Also, in out of weed atm so had to smoke the pre vaped and it actually tasted ok 😂

Find a temp that works for you. Generally I start all strains at 155 and work up in 7-10 increments to maximise different flavours.
For maximum potency and effect though I find you have to go to 181. If I do this I do it from the start.
Also, in out of weed atm so had to smoke the pre vaped and it actually tasted ok 😂

I surprised at your temps apex. Everyone is different and to be honest I used my mates mighty first and he temp stepped from 180 190 finishing at 200. Which I do now.
Loads are mate, people tell me they get nothing from low temps.

I sometimes vape at low temps on my Xmax pro for a mellow lift and the flavours can be great eh? 150 - 160 can taste like your eating the bud without actually eating it if that makes sense?
I like to start taking draws as it gets up to temp but always finish a cap on 200.

I've not tried hash in mine but still use the caps all the time for bud. Cleaning the head unit is easy enough but don't want to have to clean the oven regularly.
My advice for bud is not to pack the cap. You need enough air room for the convection thing to work properly.
Dank stuff vapes much better and longer too. If it's too dry, you'll only get a few decent pulls. On the other hand, I've got some Gorilla Glue from TGDs that just keeps vaping.

Stick the dry stuff in a jar with 62% or higher Boveda if you've got time for it to gain some moisture. Takes a while tho.

Use the dosing capsule for hash to protect your oven. Get a pack of cotton bacon from Amazon but you only use a tiny amount. Put a wispy cover on the base of the capsule. For soft hash, roll and coil a snake and place on the bed with a wispy layer on top. For hard hash grind it first. Alternatively use weed as your sandwich layers.
For hash you need to crank up the temperatures starting at 195c for soft and 210c for hard. After the first buzz let it heat for the second two minutes as well, then click to keep it on and inhale.

What was drawing you to the Venty? (other than VAS obvs!)…I know there’s some enhanced air volume thing going down but can that really justify the ££££ when I’ve got a Mighty? (please say “yes” then I can buy one!)
From what I can make out the enhanced airflow is directly linked to the oven giving bigger hits.
The biggest draw for me is the max wattage is 130W compared to 45 W in the Mighty.

I have a small greenhouse in the balcony, for three auto at a time, I grow them naturally, where I live is not considered illegal to grow if you do not use expert techniques and are three at most.
three shifts from April to November with an average yield of 30/40g each plant.

Indica strain grow smaller. Minimum size for a closet with one 400watts hps should be 1x1 mt . If this is already to big for your project ... Autos in balcony (totally agree) . PC box is cute but might be disappointing if you harvest 10g after 10 weeks

If you have limited space indica dominant strains will be much butter choice than sativas. Indica strains dont stretch as much as sativas when you flip them in flower, but they are not as vigorous in veg so they need week extra in veg.
Pc box in my opinion it is a waste of time, its not worth to wait over 10 weeks and harvest just few grams. Little tent will be much more efficient.

Yes they responded well just to day light (in the summer). Something to consider is the number of hours of sun exposure they get.
Scrog is an amazing technique considering space and g harvested .
For a small space like asked, check also some pruning techniques like topping or fim.

In Thailand I grew in a 1m x 1m tent with a 200w led. Doesnt matter how many plants, you get the same 150-200g. I used a really cheap drip system in perlite.

Hey biggaz any advice would be greatly appreciated.
I’m currently trying to quit both tobacco and combustion. I usually smoke flower with a small amount baccy and have done so ever since i started 10+ years ago. I’ve tried to quit baccy in the past and the thing i’ve found hardest is that i really enjoy the throat hit and nothing seems to compare, even with bongs and dabs i just never seem to be able to get the same throat hit.
I’ve started using LR carts and a 510 battery which has been great so far (any recommendations of good LR carts on here would be great as well) but that’s mainly for when i’m out the house and i still smoke multiple times a day.
Decided it’s time for a dry herb vape and i’ve been looking at the wolkenkraft aris as a first purchase, it’s got everything i think i’d need in a vape, convection, easy clean, precise temp control. i would be vaping my bud from around 180-210 celsius (any advice on better temp ranges would be great).
i’ve also seen lots of info on the dynavap, but it seems like some people really love it and some people can’t get the hang of it so i’m not sure how i’d get along with it since i’m new to vaping.
Has anyone ever used both dynavap and a convection vape, and if so how do they compare in terms of the actual hit itself and also the high afterwards? I’d love to get both but unfortunately they are both very expensive for me and I can barely afford 1 for the time being so i’d be gutted to waste my money on something that doesn’t work for me.

Completely fucked up my high. Which was a blessing cause it made me realise I was done with tobacco and cannabis is soooo much better on it’s on.
Now I still vape, sometimes hit up my pipe and if I crave a spliff kinda experience I mix vaped weed with non vaped weed.
For me it was about quitting tobacco cause I smoked rollies too and less about combustion.
I find that the more you vape the easier it is too get the draw you like, such as deep, warm throaty tokes.
Anyways…I feel so much better being tobacco/ nicotine free and it won’t take long for you to start feeling the benefits once you quit.

I quit 5 years ago, getting over smoking nicotine with weed was difficult, like Mr Geeseeks I tried a joint a few months after and the taste was vile I put it out. I just stick to my mighty and puffco peak pro now no more coughing my guts up in the morning, best of luck 👍

I've had a dynavap for 2 years now, and been using it exclusively since April so i'll try and share some of the things i've picked up.
Packing:
Fill your cap with weed and lightly tamp it down so theres a small gap between the top of the cap and your weed.
You dont want to pack it too tight or you risk combusting.
You can tamp it all the way down, but only do a medium temp heat cycle as it will absorb the heat much faster making a medium temp hit essentially a high temp hit.
Lighter:
You're gonna want a single flame jet lighter (i got a £8 jopoo one off amazon 2 years ago and it still works). Set it to the lowest flame height and hold the lighter in a way that just the very tip of the flame hits the cap.
You're moreso heating the cap with the hot air the lighter creates rather than the flame itself.
Heating:
Aim for just above the V on the cap, and spin the dynavap around, as fast as you can really.
Once you hear the first click, you can decide if you want a low or high temp hit; keep the flame on the V for high temp (you risk combusting if you go too hot).
Move the flame up and down the cap repeatedly for medium temp, and move the flame to the very top of the cap for low temp.
Eventually you'll get a sort of sixth sense for how hot the cap is getting and how to avoid combusting, but it takes some getting used to.
Pulling:
Once the second click happens (it's a lot louder and you can see the cap visibly move), pull lightly on the mouthpiece with the airhole completely open for the first puff. For the second puff you want to open and close the hole rapidly, and for any subsequent puffs just close the hole completely and pull as hard as you can.
Cleaning/Reclaim:
Every 10/20 hits you probably want to clean out the cap with some iso alcohol and cotton buds, but clean immediately if you combust a hit as it can ruin the taste of your next few hits.
Inside the stem of the dynavap is a metal tube called the condenser which will fill with reclaim that is essentially a low quality concentrate. You can push a cotton bud through the tube and throw it out.
But personally, I stand the cap up on a surface packed about half full with bud, hold the condenser vertically above it and heat it with my lighter so most of the reclaim drains out into the bud. then pack more bud on top, and enjoy!

Once you become a dynavap blackbelt, go to either recommendedvapesupplies.co.uk or tandeminnovations.de and pick up an X2 or X3. they're adapters that let you put more caps on your device so you can get massive hits.

bowl size depends on the model you get (newer model = bigger chamber i think), i have the 2021 M with the titanium cap and it can fit about 0.05G on a light pack and 0.1G + some kief on a tight pack.
as for hits, i get around 3 on one perfect high temp cycle, first hit being the biggest then it tapers off as you go. that typically drains all the THC from the bud in one cycle.
if you go for a lighter temp you could probably get two decent/small hits per cycle that taste really nice and get two cycles in before it's drained.
personally i always just try to drain it in one cycle with big hits, gets you completely ripped lol.
so far i haven't got any attachments for it, the base model really is all you need! the X2 is definitely on my christmas list, though i've heard it works better if you get a bigger stem + silver jackets for the tips that spread the heat evenly

I have now completely quit combustibles, having switched to a Crafty+. Hopefully, I can give you some early user insights.
Pros:
1. Health. I appreciate this may be a downside for you, but vaping is much gentler on your lungs and throat. No longer inhaling charred plant matter is another plus. Higher temps (190+) can cause a little irritation, but not so much as smoking. If nothing else, the difference in taste makes up for it, I promise.
2. Efficiency. A fully packed chamber can last me through several highs (admittedly, I have no tolerance, so YMMV). I am also planning to make edibles with the AVB in the new year; never before has my bud been stretched further.
3. Customizable high. Smoking was awkward because I'd have to eyeball how much weed I wanted, eyeball an amount of marshmallow leaf to 'fill' the joint with, and that was that. I can now stop when I feel high enough. Also, I have noticed the temperature affects how the high feels. Lower (around 165) gives me a lighter high, where I am a lot more functional. Higher temps are great for conking me out before bed, haha.
Cons:
1. Learning curve. I suuucked at using the Crafty+ at first (and still suck a little bit). The good news is, with practice, you will get the hang of it. But I definitely had a period of inconsistent highs whilst I experimented.

You are certainly making the right decision to move away from combustion. The DynavapM is the gateway device for joint rollers to get into vaping as it offers a similar tactile set up and butane fire up. It does have a learning curve but most rate them and you are only about £60 in the hole (before all the add ons start to lure you!🫣)

Do you have any recommendations outside the wolkenkraft as a beginner vape at a reasonable price? I know things like the crafty and tinymight are best in class but they are wayyyy out my price point atm and would be something i’d consider after vaping for a while and getting used to it

Good luck, it's tough getting off nicotine,it won't be easy but it's doable,if I can do it you can, I used a vape with low nicotine content for a few weeks then cold turkey with cbd liquid in it to replace roll ups, I quit weed for 2 months at the same time,untill i found out about dry herb vapes, now even combusting pure joints taste disgusting, in the end it's well worth it.

Butane manual certainly comes with a learning curve. I have them all but prefer to let the battery do the work😉

Dynavap £60ish, litl 1 £25ish (tiny!)and flowermate aura £50 ish are the best rated in that category I think. There maybe some others but those are the ones I have seen good reviews for 👍 spend the whole £100 and things will only get better with heating,clouds, taste and voltage settings.

Dynavap/induction heater and you'll never look back. If you're on a strict budget you can use a Jet lighter and FMJ addon instead of an induction heater and it will still be great. I completely quit smoking and don't miss it as the advantages of vaping are endless.

Just bought a xmax v3 pro £69 very good and some dosing capsules so I can smoke hash,you have to use cotton bacon with hash in the capsules,beats the dynavap any day,you can buy spare batteries and charger cheep too,definitely recommend.👍

I'd browse around for a second hand Mighty / TinyMight. I picked up a second hand TinyMight for £110 with accessories. If you do go for second hand, just make sure you look into how to spot fakes for the unit you're interested in.

The companies found the niche in the dry herb vape market. The top brands under 100 were basic as they were innovative so could get away with bad quality.
The best brands right now that are solely e-vapes, have exploited said niche & force you to pay more, for the best experience.

Not quite in your budget but you won't regret the extra - get the Arizer Air Max. Set it to at least 180 (190 is my go-to temp) and you are all good.
I have the Xmax v3 pro, I paid £75. Produces enough vapour to make me cough still. Dropped it a few times and still going strong. Battery could be better but all around good starter vape
I’m currently considering my first desktop vape. The Arizer Extreme Q is currently £87 on Vapefied and I’m finding it hard to resist…
It’s a bit of fun…who doesn’t love to try 🎈?….but after a month or two it will just be a paperweight 😉

My mate has a Pax3 and I have a Mighty and in my opinion the Mighty is a lot better. Polly or Deadrabb1t can both lead you in the right direction with other options as I've only really used the Mighty consistently.

Well i was thinking of getting the vape sorted first as mine is not doing it for me, i use carts when im out with the pupper so it doesnt need to be super portable but im not up for a volcano or anything, maybe an entry level dab pen after vapes sorted then i was thinking up upgrading the bong after when thats done and had my eye on a similar set up to Rux's new toy, a freeze pipe with an e-nail dab thingyme that works with the glass.

I’ve had a lot of vapes, like a real lot, 90% are shite, if you want to vape and actually get high, conserve herb you need a desktop vape, I run a CH Flowerpot B1 Baller and it’s a different world to things like the mighty. There are so many good Baller vape options now the worlds your oyster.
Vapes are super subjective and while there are a lot of not great devices to say 90% are shite is a bit of a bold statement.

I think there is some confusion generally on Ball vapes that you HAVE to take massive lung busting hits! You really don’t, the Flowerpot for instance works best according to CH with a 0.05 loading dose, basically just covering the screen, you can vape it low temp for flavour or whack up the temp for a one hitter, or you can go somewhere between, just because it can vape 0.2 in one hit really doesn’t mean you need to or should, I deffo don’t, I’ve got wimpy lungs so no giants hits for me.
Honestly I don’t think saying 90% are shite is a bold statement, most really are very poor, whether it be efficiency, flavour etc. It’s far far easier to find an average to poor vape than a good one that’s for sure.
All the log vapes I’ve used have been pretty good, decent alternative for a Ball vape if you have a lower tolerance.

See there are some good options for value I haven’t tried, some maybe great, I don’t need a portable but if I did I’d look at those options for sure.
I never got to try the P80, always heard very very good things about it though.

All the vapes you list as good are convection biased all the not bads are hybrids and due to energy costs lots of session devices are hybrid or conduction based.
Tp80 is the most open handheld I own by a large factor its closest rival is the SSV for draw restrictions in my opinion, however they aint cheap , they are hard to get when they drop, they need a good warmup session on wake up to get it doing stuff and they eat batteries like its powering a tesla.

I think that’s my issue, well not issue but preference, I just don’t seem to get medicated the same with Conduction, recently had a Vapman and hated it, even hated it with hash and it’s meant to be king of that for vapes. I’ve never ever gotten along with Dynavaps for the same reason, I just don’t get the same effects from conduction vapes and certainly not compatible flavour.

More like big vaponic's the elev8r is convection dominated because it's a big hot lump of quartz above the herb at a distance where unless you inhale it won't do anything, with the positioning of the heater around the herb but isolated by an air gap allows for you to play around with convection/conduction balance and that's why they work so well for hash, the elev8r isn't great for hash imo

Not a fan of herb vapes, waste of time, weed and money in my opinion. Get a 510 battery for £30 or so and go for distillate carts instead, better flavour and high. Still get that tickle throat thing but not as bad as on a herb vape….
Not sure what herb vapes you have tried but considering a lot of carts still dont use CDT's and its not a full spectrum extraction even when they do its difficult to get onboard with the idea of a better flavour and high.

Yep each to their own, nothing beats flower in a joint, for me flower in herb vape doesn’t work, have tried a few herb vapes with some knockout weed, that paled in comparison to that of a joint or a cart. As for tolerance, this gets fucked with either way, unless you take a break occasionally or mix up the strains.

I have been waiting so desperately for a seller to sell the 'REAL' versions of these for the last 2/3 months now... The fake versions are literally poison to me, they trigger my PTSD very badly and set me back in life so much in a crippling kind of way through anxiety.
I found that the legit versions of the 10/10 Boys cali pens soothe my PTSD anxiety in a medical way. Quite literally after two puffs on the vape I instantly feel way better being more talkative, a boost in energy, and become happy in general.

Hey mate. There is no "legit" version of these, like there is with most branded THC disposables in the UK. Most people that claim to sell legit THC disposables buy them empty and fill them themselves. I also wouldn't listen to the guy reccomending Dispenseree saying their 10/10 Boys are legit because they definitely aren't, and they're very overpriced for the quality, like most things on Dispenseree. I've had Packman vapes from Dispenseree that cost me £120 back when I didnt really know what I was doing, and they were 100% filled with distillate.
My advice would be to try a dry herb vaporiser and using it for microdosing on a low setting, which really helps bring through the terpenes while keeping the THC intake low, which is what a lot of medical users like to use. They may seem expensive but theres plenty of great value budget options, and they can be really efficient with your weed so youll be saving money in the long run anyway! If I got anything wrong feel free to correct me!

I agree with the advice about getting a dry herb vaporiser and trying that on low temps but would add that I think it would be an idea to get some CBD flower from one of the many legit sites and blend this with THC buds. Hopefully you will find a blend and temperature that helps your mind. CBD keeps some of the possible negatives of THC at bay.

I'm glad I went with the fine plate for the Herb Ripper as sometimes even with that a reasonably big chunk makes its way through without being ground. It's perfect for joints (which is still my main consumption method as tobacco is delicious), and seems great in the Mighty too. I don't think I've ever actually used the other plate, but it is in the box.
Just had a look at the Brilliant Cut and that's what my mate (the one that lent me everything) had with him the other day. Very smooth, almost frictionless action on it.
It doesn't ever need to be cleaned it seems as well

This is weird because I had the exact same thought today. Had two Storz and Bickel ones now and I do like them. Fancy something a wee bit more exotic though. I read stainless steel is the way to go because aluminium might not be healthy long term, reckon that’s bullshit?
The storz and Bickel starts nice, but those 4 bumps on the rim collect loads of gunk quickly.

Unfortunately I swallowed that bullshit and that's why I got the Herb Ripper. Had a smaller aluminium one that was perfectly serviceable for years before that and used it so long that all of the paint wore off. Presumably I smoked that? 🤷🏻♂️

I took the plunge and bought what's hopefully the last grinder I ever need to buy, and as it's stainless steel (and could be used as a Cluedo weapon) with no coating there aren't any of those considerations.

The heavily discounted medium sized 4 piece Herb Ripper I bought from Magic Vaporizers is a beautiful thing. Almost art. Cuts through almost anything like butter. Added the fine grinding plate too as I have no self control, and I'm glad I did.
I don't know the brand of my grinder but it is and old one like the originals, wooden with pins. It is the only girnder I have and is 15+ years old, granted the pins are loose now but it certainly has done its job and still performs to this day. Never liked the idea of a plastic grinder becasue of the plastic shards. Had a metal grinder with a kief catcher and only used it for a month or so and went straight back to my Old faithful wooden relic.

3 Piece Santa Cruz is fantastic. I do a full disassemble and deep clean every few months, dab the smallest amount of cooking oil on the threads and it's smooth as butter. Would not recommend the small one, it gets over crowded quickly and you can't fit much in it, and it's tiny. Medium is perfect and the large is even better but not necessary
I use a Space Case 4 piece. If you’re looking to collect kief it’s worth it. I’ve had it for around 10 years now and it’s still going strong.

Agree with the bio bizz, grow and bloom will do an auto flower. Most soils will provide the plant enough nourishment for two weeks. Tropic Mix is good…

Hi LB buddy . I plan to grow an autoflower outdoor of my balcony for this summer and think about organic grow .I have few question hope you all can help me out .
1 - Which brand of soil for organic grow ( ? how long it last until I need to add nutrient
2 - What organic nutrient brand should I use ( simple to use is good idea ) or add nutrient by nature way like ( eggshelf , banana skin ec. )
3 - my plant will get about 7 hours sunlight and the rest under 100w mar hydro light ts600 I tend to go for 20/4 light cycle .

- BioBizz has a decent line of organic products, including a ready to use organic soil. The nutrient bottles come with the feeding schedule on the bottles, but I'm sure you can find this on their website too if you wanted to know before hand. Follow their directions and you should be good. You'll need to read the signals your plant is giving off too, and add nutrients from there. There's alot of help and charts online to identify different issues if you run into them.
If you wanted to use dry amendments instead of organic liquid nutrients, check out "Living soils UK" on eBay, they sell bundles with everything you need - minus the soil. No matter what you go with, make sure to use worm castings in your base mix , they are phenomenal for the health and eco system in your living soil. Make sure to use water that is filtered and has 0 chlorine

Yeah I think about that way may stress the plant , I may have to go 7hours under sunlight but affair that won’t produce anything . I don’t have a setup inside on the light and a small store room .
1. House and garden bat special, provides everything a plant needs for 6 weeks which should cover your “grow” stage on the auto, (keep in mind after 2 weeks you can feed small amounts of nutrients)
2. As others have mentioned your best bet would probably be bio bizz, due to it being very forgiving and also easy to use, but if you prefer doing things “naturally” Google says “ worm castings, blood meal, fish meal, or bat guano for nitrogen; bone meal or rock dust for phosphorus; wood ash or kelp meal for potassium; and dolomite lime for calcium or magnesium”, you can buy all these as dry amendments some slow release and some fast, (slow release is harder to see if you’ve over or under fed as deficiencies slowly creep up over a few days/weeks instead of over night/ 2 days) also using apples blended into a liquid form will help your plant bloom faster, this is used for fruit trees that are unwilling to naturally produce fruit, something to do with the gasses that the Apple releases tricks it into to thinking it’s dying or something along those lines, not completely sure of the science so don’t quote me
3. Is it 7 hours full sun or slightly shaded? If it’s full sun the 100w will be more than enough to get a decent yield with hybrid lighting, if shaded you may be a lil disappointed with the yield as the 7 hours shaded will most likely be a “sleep” cycle for the plant, basically a small rest to prepare its self for the more intense artificial light
4. Some tips I’ve learnt along the way, reducing the light during the flush stage will speed up the finish time by a couple days and produce slightly better aroma and flavour as well as producing more trichomes due to the extra amounts of cold it will get during the “night” cycle, a heat mat can be used to keep root zone temperature optimal (better suited for uk winter) but you will have to water twice as much so keep that in mind, running a light cycle of less than 10 hours during flower will take 1-2 weeks of your grow making your plant finish earlier, this works by making the plant think it’s almost winter so it speeds everything up (however this can cause hermies)
Using 2 light spectrums such as “white” leds and “red and blue” leds will give you increased yield due to the spectrum being so wide allowing the plant to do as it pleases, clonex in your water for the first couple of weeks of veg and flower build a great root ball as well as great immunity, when flushing allow your plant to slightly dry out inbetween the last 2 waterings, this tells the plant to force all its energy into the buds to look for extra nutrients that it can use and when your about to chop let it die on the vine, this will give you a almost perfect 14 days dry time with buds being just about touch and crumble with stems snapping with ease, then put those in a jar so they can gain some humidity back and you’ll have a perfecto smoke

I was a heavy smoker for years (half oz a week) then suddenly i started having panic attacks after smoking with pulpatations too. I gave up for ages but i really miss having a smoke so ive started having some very small amounts of morrocan hash this last year, which so far seems like it causes less problems although im still very nervous about having too much. If i smoke most weed thats around ill feel like ive had 4 cups of strong coffee :( Weed used to be relaxing but now feels like a stimulant . Ive also ended up cutting coffee and most hardcore sugar out of my diet as that seemed like it was also starting to affect me badly (i suppose thats a good thing to cut out anyway haha but still) . Hey! Sorry to hear about your weed-induced panic attacks. I can easily give myself severe anxiety with too much THC but at the same time I need the THC-heavy indica strains to sleep (severe insomnia from long-standing PTSD). AVB (already vaped bud) doesn't seem to cause anxiety in the same way, so sometimes I just self-medicate with that. But I've found the trick with weed is to vape it, not smoke it, and to use way way less than makes sense, like a really tiny quantity. Either I just put a tiny quantity in my vape, or i put in a normal quantity but only take a couple of shallow puffs then take a break for an hour or so.
That said, a lot of panic attacks are by subconscious association, so if you had one bad trip with weed, the panic attacks could well be just your amygdala screaming DANGER DANGER at your adrenal glands every time you smoke. If you need to talk about it feel free to message me btw

if you could get diazepam i used both to cure very bad case of PTSD to fix. every time i smoked and got panic i i let it get bad then pop a pill to shut the fuck up to this panic it works really does. did this for just a few weeks and wala i can now smoke 247 no panic then just weened myself off the diazepam 5 years gone and still PTSD free

Definitely try vaping. Its a lot more mellow and a nice way to ease yourself in. MJ Concentrates have some great carts (he is sold out atm but will restock soon) and he is really helpful and has great customer service and no question is too stupid to ask him.
Just to add as I don't see it otherwise mentioned, but the maturity of the trichomes plays a large part in this. Smoking earlier cuts of cloudy trichs will give a rushier hit than ambers if cut a little later, and I've found it's immature or earlier cut weed that tends to give me the effects to speak of. If you know any growers, ask that they cut you some when it's mostly amber trichs and see how you do. It is degrading at the point but you can't get it all just right.
I used to suffer with this and for me I realised the sativa doesn't agree with me, has to always be indicia, or a 70/30 hybrid, I'd suggest having a smoke but you need to break yourself in real slow, just like have a few puff's, then a few hours later a few more and so on, try indica leaning strains, though it could just be your body going nah
Sorry to hear this. Everyones different but it can come down to strains. Try find Hybrids or Indicas particularly ones that are low THC and High in CBD. Thisbalance is key to a balanced high. also really make sure the plants are flushed correctly and/ or organic. Less chemicals the better which can trigger a lot of this.

Not really bud, Durban Poison i Had stocked there was 17% THC, 1% CBD, 1% CBN. There definitely are strains that have like 3% CBD these days. Sorry I couldnt be of more use!

She ends up getting a speed-like high. She has chronic arthritis but it may be the type of meds she is on not meshing well. Some venders put detailed descriptions on here of their strains. You will find one that works for you eventually. I hope it all comes right for you because it’s shit when you can’t do what you love. Stay safe.
I had a similar episode after 20 yrs of smoking daily, mind you it happened after a weekend of more booze than you can imagine. Tried a few times after but had the same response, so I gave up for about 8 years ( boy did I miss it!!) then went to Amsterdam, I took it slower than I would have in the old days and always kept my mind working and it worked . TBH my life now won’t allow to go back to how I used to smoke but pleased I can still enjoy one again. I guess it really comes down to mental conditioning and not associating weed and the panic attack, well that’s what helped me .
1:1 THC/CBD strains are amazing. Stick to some nice indicas or hybrids and you'll find the CBD takes the anxiety away and replaces it with a deep relaxation.
maybe because you stopped using for a long time so your body isn't used to having weed. or you might have went straight to sativa strains when you started again. i had the same experience not long ago, i thought i added a low amount of cannabutter in my brownies and i ate two, 5 hours later i feel like my heart will explode and i was scared i might die. lol. yeah stick to the indica ones, try to taper your dose-- start small and see which amount gives you the results you want. CBDHempKing has some cbd flowers and CBDave has some cbd products like distillates and chocolates.

Stick to the indicas, sativa strains have the same effects on me, avoid it now and been good so far. Smoke every day.

Currently black jack reserve or fruity pebbles from drugsinc these are pretty laid back not heart pumpers. Look out for the ice cream cake that was nice.
I find mimosa really good for anxiety it’s a 50:50 hybrid usually pretty easy strain to get hold of to

I got rid of them pretty much within a month by using deep breathing techniques. I have a friend who makes RSO which can hit you with panics like a truck if you take too much and the breathing techniques completely stop those too.
I know it sounds cliche but I really recommend the box breathing technique whenever you feel bad: 4 seconds breathe in, 4 seconds hold, 4 seconds breathe out. Do that for 2+ minutes and you will feel better.

Hi, ive smoked heavily for 25 years now and I find my anxiety is at its worst when i cant source any weed, whether thats an addiction styled placebo im not sure, but I have heard of people mixing quantities of cbd flower in with their thc flower at various ratios and reporting much lower psychosis/anxiety levels. Maybe try a bowl or vape of 70/30 thc/cbd and see if it helps any.

Also the state of mind before you smoke. ganja (especially sativas) can be a sensitizer so amplifies your emotions.
Also, when a plant is chopped also has an effect on the buzz. So even an indica can be racy if its chopped a bit early. Sativas are often chopped a bit early because...
1) They can take another 50% longer to flower than an indica
2) It amplifies the racy high and can be more trippy.
Loads to keep you happy, but id just look for a 90%+ indica dominant, which is usually displayed in vendors sales pitches.
Good luck and dont do it if it makes you feel para. Can be unhealthy to keep that going for the grey matter.

Last few times I’ve had white widow it’s given me heart palps and shakey muscles, flat out won’t smoke it now.

feel purer and no tobacco means not having to roll joints to feed nicotine slumps.
A half ounce a week was a lot of weed and glad you're having a more pleasant time with a lesser amount of nice Moroccan hash. 😀

could be worse, you could develop cannabis hypermedia syndrome like me and nearly die of complications of dehydration. imagine the worst pan imaginably, its 10 times worse, fentanyl does nothing, they had to put me under to stop it.
Thanks everyone for your lovely responses . I'm going to look out for some indica rich northern lights and some ice cream cake , until then I'll stick to my lower strength hash as that seems like a warm not too heady buzz :)

This isn't the same as the stuff we had in the Dam Dazzler. The stuff we had was laced with a white powder like coke. It wasn't like smoking weed, Me and Party sat all day smoking Northern Lights OG and when we were so wrecked we couldn't move we would smoke a joint of that stuff, and we would be wide awake and ready for another 4-5 NL joints.

Fuck knows man, I'm surprised I remember any of my numerous visits to Amsterdam, so the fact I can't remember going with you doesn't really mean much.
The hash we smoked was a ball of hash about the size of a ping pong ball, and it had a white powdery substance marbled through it. Thinking about it, it may have been kief that was marbled through it, but I've never seen this before or since then.

The white bits in Nepalese temple balls are little bits of mould trapped in the hash. Cause it’s hand rubbed from a live plant the hash holds a little more moisture than other methods. That’s what I heard anyways.
The strange thing is I had to look this up and I'm sure I watched a video on YT about this recently. They pull the plant with their hands which doesn't kill the plant and leaves the THC on their hands. They then scrape the weed oil off their hand and roll it in to a ball. I never realised at the time of watching it that's what they were making.

I had another look, and it's not what I have seen. Very similar though. The stuff I was watching a video about is called Charas. Which is made from live cannabis plants, whereby temple ball is made from pollen or kief from a dried plant. The linked video is from strain hunters where they see it made first hand. Very cool.
