In this arena there is nothing more important than you, you make LB what it is and like you we know it's a special little corner of the online world for us to escape to and we never intended to upset that for you.
We also never intended to be here forever and more feedback from real Biggas had us deciding now may be the time to call it.
We have been following the careers of Musk, Yarvin, Thiel and their group for a long time in a journalistic sense, we could see their ideas for the dismantling of democracy playing out in real time and nobody else seemed to be reporting on it, as a world we are a few years from fully automated bipedal armies/workforces which will be controlled by the higher generation of AI that Musk is currently training with all the raw data he's accumulating, whatever their vision of the future looks like it doesn't seem to consider humanity much and this is why we wanted to get these ideas out there.
Now these things are being picked up by more places than Politico (who one one of the first agencies to start covering this group) and the world seems more aware of all the players involved we feel it's time to stop our coverage here and give you your safe space back!
We strived to figure out a way to exist without being in peoples faces, we posted in clusters and at less busy times but those trying to discredit the actual content have kept us on the boards more than we hoped which has led to us upsetting some of you for which we are sorry, to that end we wonder if a block function may be a good idea for LB for those using it socially, in our case those who wanted to avoid us could've done so and left others who were using the page the ability to do so.
We also know the name has been a problem, we argued to just avoid us and not to click the links but we already put the thing some people want a break from in their heads, it was a mistake we would be very mindful of if we were to ever return.
Remember to stay vigilant out there Biggas,
the AI bots they use on social media don't just copy and paste talking points, they create and manage online avatars that are really hard to distinguish from a real person like those on Meta, also remember the google owners were next to Musk, Bezos and ZuckerBot on election day so at anytime the tech and platforms we use could become suddenly one sided.
Always check your sources and check their sources and more importantly than anything don't let anybody tell you what to believe, find out for yourselves!
