I buy carts and use a 510 battery
There are different types of cart. Distillate, live resin and some that are a mix of both. Distillate is a powerful short sharp stone, live resin is closer to smoking hash in my experience.
There are several vendors that these products are available from. I have bought from, Canadian Imports, sensimarts, great vape company and sayno2drugs and have always had great products. My advice would be to only buy from vendors with lots of reviews.
Which to buy is very much a matter of personal preference.
If you don't want to use carts and a battery I don't think you could go wrong with the C.A.G 100% live resin ccell pen from Sensimart. They post really quickly as well and all their products have been fantastic.

Use lighter or hairdryer to heat up the sides and bottom of the cartridge..

You want to mimic what a vape pen does and it should very very slowly leak out the bottom.. lol

I've never bought one that had a removable mouth piece.

My missus will be a giggling mess after 3 puffs on one of these so go easy ! Make sure you vape at a low wattage as well :)

@onthehunt thanks for the heads up! Annoyingly UPS didn’t deliver my battery so it’s distillate tonight. Will take a puff of vape tomorrow, before my mother in law turns up for the weekend... :D

What would happen if one vaped at a higher wattage. Just bad taste or can the cart be damaged?

I used to vape and having a coil which was too hot can create spitting liquid and just be unpleasant!

It'll be harsh and makes me cough. Nice and gentle on a low temp gets the best out of the oil :)

And what if there is a metalic/plastic taste to the vapor? Is it a lousy tasting vape juice then? Or some sort of fault in the cart?

I couldn't comment on that I'm afraid. What I would say is if you take a dab in a dab rig too hot it tastes nasty and induces coughing, I'd imagine the oil being vaped too hot would have the same effect. That's just my intuition though, certainly not for sure.

Dr Extracts all the way, and for many reasons, one and the main one being price, 1ml $48 go see reviews he's absolute best and I want people to have the best quality best quantity and best prices on here, don't spent $37 on 0.45 when you can get 1ml at $48, also the Dr comes with guarantees, this guy isn't gonna reship or provide tracking, if its lost you lose your bitcoin and your overpriced package, did it to me and I fkd him off for good after 3 years of consistent buying I couldn't believe he did me like that but he did, I will always point people in the right direction on here to the fairest of the vendors this guys prices are as unfair as his policy on reship and "providing tracking" something the guy puts in his bio but doesn't provide upon losing a package

I’m pretty noob or too. My experience with the distillate is that ( it is excellent) one good puff is more effective than 2 drops of distillate, though it kicks in within minutes and peaks after 1 hour, over by 2 hours; as opposed to oil which starts later and last longer (depending on what and when you eat)

Im also newb to vape-carts. I got this T.Cookies and Id say its cool. It leans to an indica high a bit, but thats the cookies I guess.. never had it in flower form so Im not sure. But the high is nice and the cart is too small ,.-)

So I had 3 drops of sativa distillate, then a few hours later I’ve had 3 puffs then 4 puffs on the vape cart. Feeling good!

Did you prime it 1st?
Suck on it before you actually vape it, to make sure the oil has soaked the coil. If you don't, it will burn and taste shit.

MJ has a cart & battery combo right there on his menu- screw the 510 thread cart into the charged battery and you are good to vape.

Carts are filled with various cannabis oils. They vary by method of extraction and subsequent strength and of course the strain of the original plant used. MJ’s are distillate which is a solvent extraction method efficient enough to keep the costs lower. Rosin and Live & Raw Resin are more naturally produced and therefore more expensive extractions.

Live resin extractions can be almost 100% THC.

Users like them for stealth- you can use them pretty much anywhere as it’s difficult to tell them apart from ordinary nicotine vapes. Plus they hit hard and fast, and are permanently ready to go.

I personally wouldn’t start my vaping journey with carts- they are too strong and can basically make you cough like crazy if you are not prepared. Not saying I don’t love them, I do, I just wouldn’t start there.

Go on vapefiend.com. Buy yourself a dry herb vape. If you like the ritual of smoking buy a DynavapM which you fire up with a butane lighter but works asa vape. If you want to get away from all that lighter stuff then buy a Crafty+ or a Mighty and let te battery take the strain.

Buy a Henry (3.5g) of herb from anyone here (the likes of Canadian Imports or Dr.Greenthumb will even include NDD for free), grind, load and vape away.

You won’t look back- it’s a dream 😶‍🌫️👍

Agreed, dry herb vapes is my preference also. Dynavap is a great recommendation from Polly, they just require a little patience to get your technique down, but it's worth it once you get there 👌.

Any battery that says it's suitable for a 510 thread cartridge will work for these carts from MJ, and also any cart on LB that is advertised as 510 thread fitting


I'd recommend this battery to use with this cartridge. This battery will fit any 510 cartridge, so the one above is perfect and is compatable. Try not to over think it with voltages etc. , this battery I've linked comes with 3 pre-set heat settings which are basically your voltages 👍.

There are "Dry herb vapes" which you put actual bud inside and vape, these are completely different than cartridges. If you'd like a cartridge as shown above by MJ, these are made with a cannabis concentrate in liquid form and are paired with a battery to operate them.

This is my first time ordering from MJ and for some reason the cartridges aren't engaging my 510 battery. All my other cartridges (from Dr. Terpy) have no problems. Any advice?

regular battery that I've used for a while now. Looks similar to the CE3

Strange one, only suggestions I have is make sure the battery is charged and wipe the connections down on the vape and the cart

Try and re-seat it a few times after you've done this, sometimes they can just start working again. If all this fails then contact the vendor and see what they suggest, it could be a faulty cart

I've tried a few times with no luck unfortunately.

The liberty V5 carts are wider at the bottom. I have not had MJ carts but it's the same carts as another seller and I had that Issue.

Yes, I also have a ccell which doesn't fit at all. The regular pen battery should work but it's not connecting. Received another cartridge today from another vendor and it works fine so it's not the battery's issue.

I had to get a cheep ass pen one but that worked fine.

Might just be the cart or a clean as suggested. I was raging when it would not fit. Worse thing is I knew because I had spoken to someone else about it. Rush buy for a favourite strain. We all do it lol

Fuck all. Took it out the packet and screwed it in. I would DM the vender as sometimes you just get a fucked cart. It's happened to me. By the sounds of it, you have done everything to make sure that it's not what your using bit the cart.

Just always bare in mind that carts are much stronger than spliffs. My first time trying a cart, I took maybe 5 normal hits thinking I was taking it easy and was absolutely spanked. Now i take a single pull and im good for a couple of hours.

Personally I never got on with dry herb vapes and therefore have wasted money on a pax 3 and a dynavap.

Carts are less of a faff and super discreet. Get a battery and cart first order and you are good to go wherever you go.

Basically this is why I bought carts, and they're really handy to top up a high and no-one will bat an eyelid if you're smoking in a busy street. They didn't when I did, anyway. The Paso battery is doing well for me. Available from a well known retailer named after a massive river.

You haven't wasted money on the Dynavap, you just haven't used it to smoke hash in yet. A revelation. I'm converted, and I also have a Mighty+, and it seems greedy to straddle factions like this, but that's where we are.

I just bought a dynavapM do I need anything special to smoke hash in it ? Would I just stick a small ball in and away we go ? Do I need a different chamber for extracts ? How does it work, also I'm finding when I'm vaping , the taste of the weeds seem to be very similar but when I smoke them I can tell the difference alot easier and get the full taste, seems opposite to others opinions, am I doing it wrong. I heat near the base of the end cap and I roll it around to even the heating. I then wait for the 2 clicks and keep it another second or 2 and then hit it with a finger closing one hole or 2 and playing around with the airflow and then finally inhaling the whole thing without my finger. Is there a better way ?.I'm using a single flame large butane torch like the ones for creme brulee , any advice the bud seems to have not too much vapour and also a similar Herby taste

Cotton bacon, available from Amazon. You get a bit and put some hash in the middle and this works for concentrates too. Stuff it in the end thingy and it goes all toasty like a marshmallow when you've heated it to smoke. You can also buy a coil insert that I had limited success with as it got gunky quickly.

Sounds like you're doing it right mate. I haven't used it for about a month now as I kept burning myself, and tobacco is delicious. I think all the weed tastes the same when it starts getting toasted in the Dyna or any other vape, and it's the first couple of puffs that get you any distinctive taste.

I'm far from an expert on these matters, so you probably want some input from Dazzler or Rabb1t for tailored specifics. Good luck mate, I think a lot of it is practice, but a lot of it is not burning yourself along the way too. I found a heavy metal ashtray to be useful in that regard.

None taken. We use the highest quality available to us. I haven't tried our competition but we get great reviews and our customers are always coming back. We also have a crystal cart now that is a bit cheaper and can be used on mods.
I have been making carts for 4 years and know the prices of the ingredients involved. The price point of our competition is low yes but no way using the best ingredients or they are selling at a loss.

There is enough business for everyone and i know people have personal preferences. Ours do give you a bit of a cough or throat hit but people like that. Our crystal carts are really smooth and work at higher temps on mods. I think we have a good range for most people lol.

What I will add is that you don't know until you try it.

Brining cost into the equation.

Herb - Dynavap all day long. Basic and everything you need for under £50. Can do most cannabis products out with the Ovs ones

Carts - B&M Vape88 cheep ass 4 quid 510 battery.

If cost is not an issue, most have been said but I would add in the angus for herb

Dyna worked for me because of the routine

I started off using a regular vape mod, but brought one of MJ's Yocan Kodos which is much better suited to the job - cheap, easy to use, and consistent (doesn't look like they're currently listed though). The key is getting a device that fires low voltages (3v or lower). The wife uses an Eleaf iStick Mini from eBay which works well for her. Hope that helps a bit :-)

Yocan Uni Pro is my go to. Small & cheap but by far the best vape I've ever used for carts couldn't recommend it enough after trying so many shitty cheap pen batteries.

I use the ooze twist slim. Cost about 15 quid from ebay and has lifetime warranty. Works really well with the carts

Hi mate regarding the short circuiting this sometimes happens when the cart has been knocked during delivery or just day to day. If you pull the pin at bottom of cart you should find that will help MJ

I had the same issue on my Yocan. I tried a few times at unscrewing and re-screwing and it suddenly started working. I'm a novice to this too so now idea what did the trick lol

They have terpenes added to match the strain profile.

Gelato has the gelato strain profile and so on.

They are 'flavoured' like their namesakes.

Makes sense, so to confirm, the distillate used has no bearing on the strain profile name given. This is determined by the terps used?

Yeah it's fine I've done it twice in the last 6 months. The normal 510 thread and the lollypop resin vapes both are fine to bring through. Just don't be acting suspicious they haven't got time to be testing vape carts they would be checking thousands a day

Yes, I do this all the time! Best way is with a micro syringe that is small enough to get into the cart. Heat the cart slightly either with a hairdryer or blowtorch (careful not to overheat) and turn it upside down so the oil starts running. The next step is simply trial and error, and takes a few goes to get right, but basically syringe up as much as you can from each cart whilst the oil is warm and runny, then as a last step I like to leave all the carts upside down in a jar and leave that on low heat somewhere, you should get the remaining bits slowly trickle into the jar, which you can then add terpenes/do whatever/syringe up again and into a fresh cart. The carts come apart into 3 pieces, when my cart wasn't really giving out much anymore, I took it apart and folded some papers into long thin sausages and just pushed them into and through any crevices and tunnels until there was nothing left, a bit of heat from a lighter helps. I managed to make about 8 nice little sticky rollies even after my cart looked empty. The best place was definitely the downpipe that connects to the mouthpiece, loads of leftover oil in there.

No problemo! Another idea maybe to just take the tops off and turn the carts upside down onto one another in a vice or something that will hold them together, you can then collect and residue into the one cart, again, mildly heating it will help.

Ooh you know I did consider that as an option. I think I'm going to try several experiments utilising the various techniques suggested. Hopefully without getting into a sticky mess! The combination of flavours/terpenes/effects will be interesting... haha.

Aegis from Geekvape... I got it for 50euro.

I’ve tried most of these flavours and would recommend ice cream cake Indica for couch lock, bubblegum hybrid for a well balanced 50/50 effect and tangerine dream saliva for gaming. During the day i saliva it up, then evenings are either hybrid or indica.

My favourite is the ice cream cake one so far I use it for the evenings and smoke my bud during the day

Try them all, make a hobby out of it. They are all good, i even have a Bubblegum which i would consider, on paper, to be one of my least favourites but it is actually pretty damn good. Collect all the feathers in your cap, go through them all.

Tried most of them and would say Tangerine Dream and Biscotti gave me the best experience. Biscotti was more chilled, Tangerine more creative

I'm slowing working my way through the different varieties and each terpene profile I've tried (and the wife agrees) gives a completely different high. All time favourite is Black Cherry Soda - it's a nostalgic giggly high.

Yeah I've tried Nerdz - tastes like hash and fruit juice and can get you very high very easily :-)

Ooh sorry Nutta for not answering your question... BCS is very flavourful but it's not necessarily a cherry flavour, it's hard to pin down/explain. If you've ever vaped a blackcurrant crumble eliquid, it's kinda like that. Hope that helps :-)

If you're going for the high indica strains for that chilled couch lock feeling similar to Biscotti, I would recommend Ice Cream Cake, Strawberry Cheesecake or Skywalker OG.

He has a lot of Hybrids too and you really can't go wrong with any of them. The Thin Mint Cookies was so refreshing and tasted amazing!

Picked up some thin mint cookies. Very nice. Super potent. Got me absolutely spangled last night. Closed eye visuals and absolute sedation. Would like to pick up something less potent next time in the hope I can actually do something after a toke.
