Your missing the point... For you to even define something as good .... it needs to compared against something not Good... Cuz if everyone in the world is "good" without an ounce of "Bad" then this would be called Normal...Which is funnily enough what everyone is trying to achieve.

Challenging himself for "lesser" Impulse .... Again missing the point the "Lesser" impulse is the main Driver that leads you to tougher challenges (as you have mentioned).... When you divide your impulses to "lesser and greater" you show that there is some impulses you can "downplay" or put a good bandage (tougher challenges) does not really solve the issue of Impulse in it self! That is why people are constantly challenging themselves and Challenged by themselves.... Their own Impulse which they have divided into Good and Bad / Lesser & Greater/ Right & Wrong impulse ..... We do not have control even of what we think it comes to us (God talks, Devil Talks and You Talk ... all by the action of thinking) but you want to divide your own impulses to control it!!!
