Uk rap is rap, US rap is rap, rap is music, music is a form of artistic expression and therefore subjective. In other words one is not “better” than the other.

Having DJ’d hip hop for 20 years and created it myself for about the same length of time I’ve seen a fair amount or music referred to as rap. Even within the UK we have drill, boom bap, grime, r&b/soul influenced rap, garage and drum and bass. All of the above include rap (some more than others) and all are valid forms of expression.

Personally I’m a sucker for more boom bap leaning hip hop. Musically linked to the 90s/early 2000s but there’s plenty of modern day stuff out there and plenty of UK stuff that equals US stuff for me in terms of quality, with subject matter I can better relate to.

Just a few examples of my tastes:

American rap has always taken first place, the amount of quality American rappers is a lot, and also guys like K-dot, J.cole... (just some examples), you can't really find their UK equivalent. However, British rap is much better nowadays, Dave for example is one of my fav rappers, so young but so talented his ceiling is incredible. I also think J Hus, Aj Tracey, Skeps, Giggs and Kano are fantastic rappers, but there is much less of quality British rappers for me personally. Like I can list of more American rappers that I like than British rappers. I'm not a HUGE fan of Drake, but a lot of credit to him for making British rap a lot more popular in the US + worldwide. But at the moment the one rapper I see breaking through to American heights of rappers is Dave, so so talented, and he has a natural knack for instruments. He also loves listening to movie soundtracks and different music as he finds it inspiring which I thought was really cool. Shows that he has a keen eye for production as well.

Yes Werner's study explains the double ledger. The implications being that when you deposit your own fiat, what is really happening is that the banks are purchasing security futures from you with promises to pay. I would argue we are already in a post-humanist world, and have been for some time, with the evolution of media, pointedly the internet, on group mentality, opinion and aligning of thought. All through intense, persistent and unrelenting social pressure, various political propagandas and essentially, marketing.

The coagulation of collective conscious intentions via the internet, dispersing opinion, values and philosophies, dispenses of the opinion forming skills of those exposed to it more and more as generations turn over. This has happened in stages since the introduction of the web and I believe can be prevalently seen in the west. In particular, in political states which lean more towards capitalism, as this effectively 'supercharges' the evolution of these mass influences.

We as humans are physically not really evolving any more, Darwinism isn't exactly hitting the spot for us, take a walk through any small town centre and I'm sure you'll find it hard to disagree (We do still hold the record as the best long distance land animal though if I'm not mistaken). We do however evolve behaviourally at an astronomical scale when compared to other species.

Whether the invocation of an effective 'hive mind' on our selves causes us to enter a state of 'post' humanism is open to debate of course, but i think on the Richter scale of change it scores rather high.

I'm really contemplating micro dosing psilocybin to treat my depression, I can't believe that the SSRI based drugs we get given are even approved. I was a pure vegetable on them and not even that much happier. For me the depression was better than that shit

You could try Shrekage's micro dosing course, when available. Unlike SSRI's I would say there is little to zero harm in trying. If you do decide to micro dose I would love to hear the results.

Yes, nasty things I only took them for like a week and that was enough for me. I have been micro dosing but not with shrek's course, but it is similar. 200mg Psilocybe Cubensis 100mg of Lionsmane and Chaga and 100mg of Niacin.

I have been taking a 2 day break after dose day in line with the Faddiman protocol and I've had a mixed uptake so far. More than anything though is that you live in the present and appreciate things more. With my son going through cancer treatment my mind has been going crazy with what could happen but so far I find It easier to not worry about it with the microdosing. But I have only been doing it a week so I will report after a month in further detail.

Thank you, no you are not alone lol. Microdosing is getting much more popular these days, but I guess alot of people who need the help won't be able to while it's illegal. I personally don't care though, I follow the law of God and not the lands.

I have never had the best support but I have had a long time to cope with it now, and he is doing really really well so that helps, I will update you on the course progress after I have done the first month. I plan on doing a breakthrough dose of DMT around that time as well.

I'm glad they work for you mate, it's important to keep our mental health in order. I think it's starting on them that is most difficult, once their in your system and your brain has adjusted they can certainly work their magic.

Unfortunately there is very little research on the relationship between cannabis and SSRI's. That does mean your personal experience with the two is just as good as any current scientific consensus, since there isn't one. Personally I doubt it's just your imagination, there is probably something to it.

Without a doubt man the first 2 weeks on ssri was hell, being sick for the first 5 days, no appetite, no sleep, really quite horrible. But now I'm through the other side I'm without a doubt the best I've ever felt in like 10 years!
And yeah I'm sure I feel different with the weed now, it's nothing negative really it sort of feels like it just hits me harder now, which saves me flower atleast lol

I have had countless beneficial results and little to none complaints, in regards to the microdose course. From what I have experienced everyone over the age of 25+ can benefit from a simple 2 week course. To go deeper I think it is a vital and lost ingredient to our make up, when it is reintroduced it aligns and treats fractures in the minds and methods. Well worth researching or even trying as the course... it will not interrupt your normal working day or life style and when used with incentives it is a way more powerful tool!
