Totally! When we went on a safari in South Africa the ranger told us about how when animals graze, the grass "scream" and send singles to the surrounding area which makes the animals move on .... I've experienced some incredible meditations where I was taken to places and beings that I can't describe. Personally I have never gone so far or deep on any of the medicines that I have used from here. So far the meds help me better with day to day challenges, but I have yet to take the cosmic leaps that occur during meditation.

Having said that I also have to say that meds on this site have helped me be ABLE to meditate. Quieting the mind is not easy, a bit of help is always a good thing.

Yes, plants DO mind. Just because you can't communicate with them does not mean that they are not sentient in their own way. Please don't assume that a brain is the ultimate organ. As science has progressed we have learned that there are neural clusters in different areas of our bodies actually work like assistant brains. That's the best way I can explain it.

I've known this for way over a decade, it was a very unpleasant experience when i heard them.
When i think back it was like hearing them through my third ear so to speak, but when it happened, at that time i realized what was going on.

I'd argue that that was culture rather than evolution. But you could also argue that the two are inextricably linked.

The metrics for wealth are skewed in favour of consumerism. The UK has a lot of wealth generation tied up in housing instead of things like having a 401k. This leads to a large chunk of the population not wanting cheaper houses as it will negatively affect things like their retirement.

So people can afford things like TV's etc. but cannot afford housing and electricity in winter. People are told they are richer compared to the previous generation, but the quality of life can be much lower if they have kids. If you really want to know what it is like for the 'rich people' go to MumsNet where people can afford multiple children going to St Paul's where each of their kids costs 10,000 a term, and they speak about it like pocket change.

All wealth is generated from conversion, we like to use the term creation as that doesn't have the negative connotations that conversion has. In a conversion, there was something, and now there is something else. What was there is likely no longer there forever with the shit rolling down hill to people we are never aware of. Coltan and Sony's 'Playstation war' is a good example of the bollocks we help create.

It rings bell but not properly looked into it to be honest. I will do though, sounds fascinating. I’ve also seen YouTube mini documentaries on how trees can communicate with each other through a sort of symbiosis with fungi and their network of mycelium. Apparently the biggest most healthy “mother trees” share their nutrients via the mycelium with other trees and so there’s research going into this to help maintain forests. I.e don’t chop down the mother trees because they benefit the whole forest.

Fascinating. There’s a really good BBC Horizon documentary on psychopathy. It features a researcher who was taking MRI scans of prisoners convicted of violent crimes and managed to associate inactivity in a certain part of the brain with psychopathy. He then decided out of curiosity to scan the brains of a few members of his family and found one of the scans matched the patterns of some of the prisoners, and it was his own brain. He then delved deeper and determined he was a psychopath however because he had a happy, well rounded upbringing, he still learnt right from wrong even though he didn’t have empathy towards others. They also discuss on the episode the evolutionary advantage of psychopaths and possible reasons of why the traits remain in the gene pool. It’s a really interesting subject!

Proper NHS PPE worn by nurses and doctors yes, but a cotton mask pulled out of a pocket every now and again, after touching numerous things in the meantime, then readjusting it with hands every 30 seconds is probably about as much use as an inflatable dart board.

The main reason for wearing masks is to stop the spread of transmission. They primarily stop infected people spreading the virus and their preventative use is limited at best. I think it's missing the point saying you can wear a mask but still catch a virus. That's not the main purpose even if it does have some positive effect in reducing your chances of catching a virus.

I believe it does still happen, though not through organisations that are supported (through advertising) by Big Pharma companies. I believe USA and New Zealand are the only countries that allow pharma advertising - I'd like to think we'd have far more honest journalism if all pharma advertising was banned, but sadly the lack of pharma advertising in this country hasn't helped journalists uncover and report on the biggest scam of our lifetimes.

The biggest issue for me is that even before the outbreak the WHO was in the pocket of the Chinese. Ghebreyesus had got to the top based on their power voting and from the start he did what they told him to do and say.
The WHO has proved itself to be woefully unfit for purpose (and that’s a HUGE understatement), and the fact that it exists today almost unchanged and with Ghebreyesus still heading it I find absolutely mind boggling 😵‍💫😤

I remember at the start of this thing (before it came here and was only seen as a problem for China) that one of the 3-letter agencies reported a potential lab leak at Wuhan. They surmised this through a complete lack of mobile 'phone signals coming from the Wuhan site, and satellite images showing the normally-full car park being empty. I've no idea if any of this is true, of course, and haven't heard it mentioned again since. My understanding is that it'd take thousands of years for a virus to mutate 'naturally' (ie without gain of function research) into what it did, and that various 'markers' have been found that prove it's the result of gof research. I believe these markers are behind the Big Pharma court cases (suing each other) that are currently happening. So much information (from good, reliable sources, and leaders in relevant fields) that simply isn't making it onto mainstream media. If you're aware of the cover-ups happening then you have proof, if you needed it, that the media is not working for our interests and certainly isn't our friend. Sad times indeed.
