Totally! When we went on a safari in South Africa the ranger told us about how when animals graze, the grass "scream" and send singles to the surrounding area which makes the animals move on .... And then you have the fungi systems under trees - now that's as a world of its own that communicates to each other, connecting for miles and miles, looking after one another - the intelligence is mind blowing - humans could learn a lot if only they connected more with them by using the amazing medicines we have on LB! peace and love to you all

I don’t think anyone really cares about the grass, if I’m honest. I would defo argue that we’re devolving as a species. We’re getting more stupid on the whole, mainly I think due to the crap food that has become so popular. But that’s a whole other rant. 😁

Yes, plants DO mind. Just because you can't communicate with them does not mean that they are not sentient in their own way. Please don't assume that a brain is the ultimate organ. As science has progressed we have learned that there are neural clusters in different areas of our bodies actually work like assistant brains. That's the best way I can explain it.

I think you make far too many assumptions. Who says that a brain or a mind are required for sentience? We humans know how we work fairly well. That doesn't mean we have the ability to understand such an alien right under our noses.

It all depends how we define ' sentience ' . The crux of the matter is that brained organisms have a deeper experience of life than brainless beings . I think it's safe to assume they can suffer more .

If you’re on an iPhone when on the main items page, you can type in what you’re looking for in the website address bar, try to keep it limited to one word.
Type in the word of the item you’re looking for in the website address bar and instead of hitting the return button to search it on google, it will also say “on this page (3 matches)” click on that instead of googling the word and it will create a little word finder for the page. Use it all the time when I’m looking for certain strains! Works on every website.

On chromium browsers Ctrl+F to “find on page”. On iPhone press the share button at bottom middle , scroll down and click Find on Page. Really useful to search through the items page for specific strains etc

Unfortunate news thats for sure but have you looked into alkaline dieting and fully veg diets. I had a friend that fully reversed lymph node cancer.. he had a lump on his right side next to the liver and wasnt aware of it until it was very late stage. I told him of alkaline diets and how acidic conditions in the body allow cancerous cells to thrive. He researched and found promising evidence to support that, he instantly stopped smoking bud and started taking full spectrum cbd oil (orally) to counter the pain. He never went down the route of chemo and 6 months later he went back for tests and they were shocked as to how quickly the cancerous cells had dimished.
He swapped a full meat diet for full veg, he started drinking distilled water with spirulina with ph @8- 9, he started juicing alkaline veg mixed with fruits and hit the sauna and steam room almost every day for the next 6 months.
He went cold turkey with smoking bud and cigs 2 days after finding out the news.
By far the biggest noticable change was that in 6 months he went from a 6ft3 140kg to 90kg healthy lean athletic body with insane amounts of energy and bounce.. ( he didnt work out one bit) only hit the sauna and steam room + diet change.
I have seen much promising research with the use of alkaline diets and think it is definitely something to consider as its not difficult to do. Only requires willpower to continue.

Absolutely man, look into Malaysia, Indonesia, India, & Thailand believe it or not. I'm really sorry to hear about your friend, please seriously make them consider stem cell treatment ASAP, because I know of two other people who have had this, and that has not only helped in both cases, in one case it has cured the cancer. With stem cell treatment there chances of survival are much higher. Please look into centers that do this, and think about setting up a gofundme page to raise the dosh, theres no time to waste amigo, good luck ;)

Yes good on you for putting this out there. Doubters do your own research this is true. There are many natural cures for cancer and they no it! Truth is they make a lot of money and keep the population down by doing this. Sorry to hear that. My mum had cancer and refused medical treatments and went to an ashram in India for ayervedic treatment and it worked, that was over 20 years ago. My dog also had cancer 3 years ago and was given not long to live. I got him onto THC oil and 3 years later he’s still going. I would recommend trying some alternative treatments. How’s this going? There’s an interesting story in my local area. A man got diagnosed with cancer and 4 weeks to live in 2019. He hasn’t told this in the reports because I think he’s trying to sue the NHS because now in 2023 his scans show no cancer. He’s going down the misdiagnosed route but I know he was taking cannabis oil and so it might just be that cleared the cancer. My dog also had cancer and doesn’t anymore. I’m giving it to an 82 year old women who’s got terminal leukaemia because it defo won’t harm and might help. I think I’ve got thyroid/lymph node cancer and I’ll be doing down that route xx

Yeah I've seen that too. My good friend took RSO when first diagnosed it helped with symptoms but didn't get rid of the cancer. Reluctantly he went onto radio and chemo which worked and he was given the all clear. 3 years later and it came back hard and he died last week. There have been studies into the use of thc to help cur cancer. I watched a documentary about parents who used it on their children who had brain tumours, it worked the doctors couldn’t deny the tumour was shrinking at a rate much quicker than chemo etc alone. One of the families chose not to use chemo at all the child’s tumour shrank to nothing they survived ‘a miracle’

think of what c - suite execs are paid and every one of them can be replaced by an a.i. with existing technology. lots of them are just figureheads already.
Until technology is liberated from the capitalist mode of production & the private patents that create AI, then no. A.i under a communist government or socialist state could be used for good and help toward automation. Look to china where sophisticated computing has been used in public spaces to better traffic flow, keep public transport running and deliver goods and services. But A.I alone wont create communism. For communism to be achieved Revolution must happen first and the dominant ruling classes replaced so the means of production for AI are utilised by workers and not elites.

AI and automation could be used to give people more time off, pay more for less work, improve work life balance etc, or it could be used in the way described above.

Coinbase bunch transactions together that is your problem, network fees are fine right now.
This time you can just wait it out, eventually Coinbase's congestion will subside.
Next time though use Coinbase Advanced, this way when you buy BTC you actually have custody of the coins. So when you go to withdraw, your transactions won't be bunched together with lots of others.
This means both network and purchase fees are much much lower on Coinbase Advanced.

This time you can just wait it out, eventually Coinbase's congestion will subside.
Next time though use Coinbase Advanced, this way when you buy BTC you actually have custody of the coins. So when you go to withdraw, your transactions won't be bunched together with lots of others.
This means both network and purchase fees are much much lower on Coinbase Advanced.

Appreciate the response mate but I've no idea what any of that means sorry, I just know how to place an order get the total value, transfer to coinbase and buy BTC with it then copy and paste the address of the recipient of the coin and send I don't know what bunch transactions means I'm only trying to buy £50 worth of bud 😔

I have the same today. I’d hold off and try later or tomorrow. Feed are normally due to network traffic or demand so looks like this is high at the moment

Yep! Never seen them so high as today! Trying to get order in before the weekend and then bam, $66 fees to send. Was bad at Xmas then been mostly fine since, back to a couple of quid. I’ve got $185 and the most it’ll let me pay is about $90. It wants to keep the rest for fees and that dust whatever it’s called.
That's weird mate. I just checked and you should be able to fund at around 5sat/vB for network fees, which should be under £1, and it looks like that's already in your wallet? Has it confirmed and been added to your wallet balance, as it's a remarkably similar amount to what you want to send plus fees?

Didn't mean to sound rude. It's a pain having to wait by the door everyday and getting dragged through the mud. This is a great platform, potentially could remove pitfalls of the street. Maybe there should be point scoring to help the people running. There's probably too much pressure on them.
Seconding Bilbo11, you can’t do that. But if the seller gets enough disputes then I think the account gets flagged as fraud suspected, so if this is the case then it might take a little while (not sure what the dispute % threshold is for that - somebody more knowledgable than me will know). If you (or anyone else potentially affected) don’t receive your order after ~9days, you can hit the dispute button when it appears.

Did a ten day fast with only water few months ago..Had the occasional bit of salt and lemon to suppress appetite. Cleared pimples ive had for years, black marks on my skin. Still smoked weed during it..called it my "weed and water" fast

done this for years found it a bit harder latley though. id wake up 8am and wouldnt eat till 4pm to 7pm never felt hungry to a point ide suffer so didnt have any issue doing it. since covid i have been eating earllyer due to feeling starved by 1pm will i get back to old self probabby not since having covid twice now eating in general is not what it used to be like taste and texture not the same anymore.

My app tells me I have fasted 8277 hours! i tend to eat between 12-8pm and have lost a total of 4 stone, im not sure ive noticed many mental benefits though other than not berating myself constantly haha If anyone wants a good tracker app, I use Fastic.
I have 18 hours between eating everyday which seems to help me anyways. Best thing I’ve done is pair that with stopping all processed foods and sugar. grass fed biltong and walnuts are my snack of choice. Milk thistle, moringa powder, turmeric, cayenne and Ceylon washed down with ginger juice is definitely worth trying too.

I went through a phase a few years ago of doing three day water fasts. Always felt very serene on the last day. By the time it came to actually eat again, I wasn't that bothered!
I generally don't eat until about 5pm. Still overweight due to munchies. But have halved sugar and doubled cardio and weights with really impressive results.

Do it bro.. its amazing..but must say first 72 hours are usually the hardest..after that your body starts using its own fat reserves more efficiently.. so would suggest 7-10 days if u can.. everyday after the 3rd ull see benefits and increased energy levels..

yeah that’s the downfall of our diets these days, everything is just so easy to get our hands on. Access to food constantly, I always have a bit of a relapse at weekends haha deadly case of the munchies 😂 I will most definitely do a 48 hour one soon I think, I seem to get on quite well with 16:8 and like you said you feel healthier
after my fasts i usually make a big pot of spicey Chanko or ramen and have it for days after XD

we are making progress and want to thank the biggaz that are helping, particularly the devvy borg who are making significant changes to little biggy's infrastructure in order to accomodate a solana based payment processor.
we still need more devs though, this is the hardest part of developing securely and anonymously. thank you to the biggaz making introductions (especially budzinho), we are grateful and will reward every success.
we also mention that full time dev positions are available in addition to the projects we list, anyone successfully completing a project is eligibile.

Nice to see some change in the making. Just out of curiosity, why a stablecoin? Would it not be easier to just implement Sol as the payment token? Don't mean to be negative but it's very difficult to create a stablecoin that will continuously maintain it's peg. Is it an algo based stablecoins you guys are developing?
I did see that Circle have just released their EURO stablecoin which afaik is on Solana Chain. Could possibly be an idea to use. Would be like USDT but without having to pay ETH gas fees.

the new euro backed stable coin is a good suggestion and we are keeping an eye on it's progress.
would it be viable to add monero (or, honestly, any coin with decent privacy and transaction fees) as an alternative in the meantime? the bitcoin transaction fees have gone utterly mental recently, and it's scaring me away from the site.

Understandable given the number of blockchain halting episodes in recent years...although I do genuinely believe Solano to be a more robust and dependable chain now...although still nowhere near as decentralised as Cardano....which along with low fees now has a number of stablecoin options

Yup. Its supposedly sacrificing the decentralisation for far higher TPS....but the fact it can be turned on and off doesn't sit right.

Are you actually creating a new coin from scratch? Would it not make sense to at least switch to a currently existing coin that resolves some of bitcoins issues? At least as a temporary solution until your new coin is finished.

It's as simple as this really, there's teenagers setting up websites for their 'NFT Projects' which have all crypto payments implemented including BTC, ETH, ADA, XTZ, SOL etc... If LB really wanted to utilize another chain or layer 2, it would of been sorted a long time ago.

I find it astonishing that they're happy for buyers to go elsewhere. I use another platform now and pay in LTC, £100 costs me about £3 to buy and less than 1p to transfer which is completed in less than 20 minutes. Its a real shame as I love LB but I'm not willing to pay through the nose for the privilege when there are very much comparable market places, that accept 3 or 4 payment methods.

Hey. Recently stopped sertraline myself - turned me into a zombie. I got the withdrawal brain zaps - first few weeks is horrible, with the emotional control of a toddler but after about a month, I felt more in control and less zappy.
Ngl I smoked my way through the withdrawal, probably not what a GP would recommend 😆 - definitely helped, got a big ol bag of my fave stinky stardawg, put on all my favourite films and easy comfort food, battened down the hatches through that turmoil feeling. Warned my work mates that I might be more blunt than normal cos of it lol. Took some days off work when it was really bad. Worst of it was definitely the first month then felt noticeably more myself again.
Probs about 2 months after I feel normalish (whatever the fuck that is!) and less zombie like. I guess the length of withdrawal depends on the person and how long you been taking em for. The best advice I have been given in this subject is please be kind to yourself and be patient with yourself, you are undergoing some changes to brain chemistry - ain’t no escaping that. But it will pass. Good luck pal, fingers and toes crossed for ya

Glad to hear someone else coming off! I’m currently coming off Effexor and it’s been hellish. I’ve been using a lot of Indica and also literally allocating a “nap time” like a toddler just to lie down in the dark for 30-40 minutes with no stimuli - really helped. Vitamin D as well as Omega 3, Magnesium L-Threonate and B-12 every day reaaaally makes a difference. 🤞

Under the hood diet is profound, olive oils, coconut, and pretty much anything healthy can turn around the problem.
Cannabis seems to help, a salve is worth a try and sounds fun if nothing else. But don't treat with medicine till diet is changed, that's the cure you want.
LIke your diet your regular cannabis use should be oily, tinctures and cbd concentrates and smoking is going to hurt, you don't put a fire next to dry anything.

I agree with the doc, skin is a lot like plants. Dry leaves means moisture topically and on the inside chemistry that will promote healthy growth on the lowest possible layer, healthy oils, theres your most fundamental lubricant.

100% agree..especially cutting the dairy.tobacco doesn't help if you smoke. And there is a product called neem cream highly recommended and its not dear either.

Fasting and putting your body in an autophagy state has anicdotal and possibly scientific backing too, to improve eczema. Also it has run through my family, and I find eating excessive sugars, carbohydrates and gluten inflames it. Just my two cents

UV light treatment in a hospital is not a sunbed, it is very different). Also cauliflower and broccoli are really good - the rawer the better.

Animal based diet. Its hard though because your meat has to be pasture raised grass fed. Also, you must consume organs and collagen (bone broth) for you to actually benefit. Also, include fruit, raw dairy and raw honey/maple syrup. Veggies you can eat are strict. Sweet potatoes and carrots are the only ones.

I suffered with a skin rash for years, was prescribed all sorts of ointments, steroid creams, nothing worked and it only seemed to become drier and more inflamed.
I have always had a very healthy diet and drank plenty water, as well as exercising regularly. Still suffered with this issue.

Buy silk bed sheets, get rid of what you have, may seem extravagant but I had constant eczema on my face towards the tops of my cheek bones, used steroid creams for years. On a hunch, I bought a silk pillow case. Haven't had use steroid cream on my face since. I imagine the same effect would apply allover. Cotton draws moisture and if your skin is already having trouble holding on to it, cotton aint helping for 8 hours a night. 👌
Pure cotton or bamboo may also bee just as good.

All I would add in is cotton gloves. Lose clothes and the washing powder has bug impact.

I’d try cutting out lactose for eczema. Lots of skin issues caused by lactose. I have a severe intolerance to it and as soon as I eat it I get some weird painful skin stuff. And I’d just recommend a whole food diet high in veg and protein and cut out sugar and processed food, drink lots of water, take probiotics, use electrolytes regularly, to help distribute water to the cells.

I have suffered from eczema for most of my adult life. Treatment starts on the inside, you will need to focus on your diet first. Look up 'The Elimination Diet' and start by cutting out the usual suspects: dairy and gluten. Look for any foods that trigger a skin response.
For flare ups you will need to moisturise and use corticosteroids to reduce inflammation, but this is not sustainable for the long term.

That being said - having a diet that nourishes your gut and mouth biome is beneficial for A LOT of things. Anecdotally, since i changed my diet to nourish my biome, my skin has improved, but I don't have eczema.
So - eat whole foods. Avoid ultra processed foods. Try to eat a lot of nuts, seeds and legumes. Avoid inflammation by balancing complex carbs with fats like EVOO. Eat 30 different plants a week. Eat about 30g of fibre a day (work up to this).
As you can see below, everyone has an answer and not all of them are reliable. And hardly any are based in evidence. Eg Neem - great stuff, as an insecticide or fungicide. Probably not useful as a treatment for eczema. Ringworm maybe. No evidence for topical application of CBD either.

I was an anti vaxer so didn’t willingly roll up my sleeve till I caught Covid and spent the next 3 weeks hooked up to machines in ICU. It’s kinda fucked me up in the long run too. He explained to me how it works and how it has mutated and most likely jumped from species to species. As humanity continues to expand across the globe at a rapid rate pandemics will happen. We will most likely get another in the next 30 years. Why the vaccine was created so quickly was it had been worked on for years. Since the SARS outbreak in Asia in the early 2000s. As coronavirus is a type of SARS or is very closely related (on this I’m not sure) it wasn’t really created quickly. Doctors and scientists just had to adapt their work slightly. I certainly wont have any vaccination for sure. I wager though the governments will make it passive aggressive mandatory. There’s a very interesting book written by Dean Koontz in 1981 The Eyes Of Darkness, that mentions a virus created in a lab just outside wuhan in labs called Wuhan-400, and he’s prediction is that it will affect humanity around 2020! I’ve got $133 in my account and with a $37 charge and then dust whatever it is, the most they’ll let me pay is $59….it’s ridiculous really isn’t it…more than 50% extra needed for transactions 😩😩 I’m going to just have to do a big order to last me a few weeks and hope it goes down sometime soon.

So , BTC is gripping my shit at the moment, as I can see it is for all.
I'm happy to wait for fees to drop.
The problem I have is whenever I try to by BTC on coinbase it just cancels it on me. So my question is , is this because the network is fucked, or do I have another problem on my hands. Appreciate any advice.

It just got sorted as its all done by bots so I didn't really do anything but I also think it might depend on the reputations etc of parties involved

Can anyone help, trying to pay in the same way I usually do. Had $105 in my trust wallet, trying to pay $90 to vendor and keeps coming up with dust error…so thought I needed more in, my account now has $190 in and it still won’t let me pay, saying dust error still 😭😭😭
They want $32 fees…for $90! That’s obscene. Any way around it? Is it likely to change soon?
If your btc is already in Trustwallet then sorry you gotta wait probably 12-24 more hours for fees to calm down..
See if there’s any options to adjust the fee? And if so then adjust it until you see your fee is around 22sats/vB that’s the minimum amount needed (at this current time) to get included to the next block.

I've recently purchased a 510 cart and I'm confident it has nasties added to it, or maybe it's D8; something isn't right with it and I won't be consuming it. It's advertised as 100% D9 but It tastes like plastic or burnt rubber 😳
My question is, are there any noob friendly, inexpensive test kits or machines i can buy to test THC products at home? I'm specifically interested in detecting D8, and any other nastiest and impurities that shouldn't be there

EZtesting or EZtestkits is what your looking for. Cheap single use kits, you want one for THC and one for synthetic canabiniods at least. Name&shame if the worst is true. Good luck

Lots of reasons why a cart can taste bad- ironically the best tasting can be the worst ingredients because they load up with terpenes to mask it. Might be a faulty coil thats burnt out on first use.

This weed smelt really artificial as well. I couldn’t understand why someone would want to ruin it so much. It smelt of like artificial fruit flavour, I thought maybe flavoured vape or something but couldn’t work out what it was. Smoking the weed was awful. I didn’t link it until mate who had some of me also started saying how rough she’d been feeling last few days. Just headaches and sick and anxiety heart racing etc. and we both put it down to the weed and got better when we stopped smoking it, had to throw 3/4 of an ounce away. It’s really bloody dangerous.

It says synthetics will react within 5-10 seconds, where as natural products will take longer. This took around 5 seconds to react, and is completely black at the bottom. Match that colour to the chart and it shows spice.

Yes they did after 5 days, if I'm to believe what they're telling me, they have been very reasonable to be honest and handled it well.
Not sure if it's ok to share private messages, so I'll summarise.
They apologized, offered me a full refund, claimed they constantly do their own testing on the distillate so it must have been from a batch of live resin that they haven't tested. They said they have removed this batch of carts and won't be selling them, but the listing is still live so I'm not sure. Maybe they're different carts in the listing? I won't be taking the risk, but they have been more than open to fixing the issue and to make sure I'm happy with the outcome offered.

1 day to arrive certainly isn’t rubbish service and no details about why they think the bud is rubbish sets the alarm bells ringing.
Maybe cover your ass by having a history of minimum buys. I know it must be tough to balance getting plenty of sales and building a rep.

Think we just have to roll with it my friend, that sounds a bit too close to doxxing. Judging by the orders that have come through just today alone I don't think people are taking it to heart. Over time the weed, shrooms, etc. will speak for themselves
No need to show my username, I’ll own up to your 3/10 because what I bought off you is not really worth smoking. It has CBD like effects, not THC. I bought it for someone else and now am having to buy them other stuff that they can actually smoke. So I’m out of pocket. Some people may be trolling but I give honest reviews. And if it’s sat in a box not being smoked and doesn’t get you high, then it’s not going to get a great review.

I was late paying, normally do it straight away. But I checked order, paid as normal, then somewhere between me paying and it getting to the vendor, the order showed as expired but my money has left my wallet. The vendor kindly told me it’s a transaxe issue now, so I messaged them through my expired order link. Do I just wait to hear from them now? Or somewhere else I can message? Thanks in advance 💃🏼

Looks a high amount of nitrogen in there too. You know bud Rod as you gently pull on a leaf and it just comes away
Maybe looks like too much nitrogen but could be due to a very low temperature when lights off here in Scotland. Cold temperature's turn leaves dark purple apparently.
High humidity, not enough dryback periods, high nitrogen, more moving air? Theres quite alot of things that could trigger it. But if you cut away affected areas and dont see it climbing up or spreading then its a good sign of recovery, if its still climbing/spreading then the plant is a goner and its too late to recover.

Sorry to say, Definetly looks like rot, can spread quick once spores release, You can get neutralising spray to deter it from spreading however its best to be cautious to not ruin the rest of your crop especially as your onto flushing it's too late.

Extra tip if it's a big enough crop, Please let it dry sufficiently before curing & bagging hate to see this stuff turn in curing.

This is only my 3rd grow. How long should I ideally dry then cure? I didn't cure much before but smoke was still good
In my opinion curing for 3 weeks minimum is perfect, However this ranges from plant to plant.
Drying however should be around a week, However this is the key part of the process, Make sure the room is warm with enough NEW air constantly circulating & old air escaping.
Seen enough people make the mistake of heat with no air, Which actually creates more humidity leading to further rot.
(Warm room with new constant flowing air & I reccomend you trim before hang due to how much moisture is already present)

Thanks pal. Was waiting til the trichomes on the bud started showing amber before flushing but that's now out of the question. They started going amber on the leaves tho so hopefully still be good smoke?

Will still be a good smoke, surprisingly it usually just makes for a trippier high when the trichomes haven't changed to cloudy amber, alot of people usually mistake this for a stronger high.

Nah the site has been having a little bit of a fit over the last few days. Since some time last week this is the first time I've even been able to get on the site at all.

me too, using via society and tor browser, but have exact same issue. have been trying multiple times but to no avail.
Switching my browser into desktop mode worked for me first time on an android phone, couldn't get it to work at all before doing that. 5/12/22 good luck all hope all well and you can all get access soon.
