Cowboy Bebop is amazing, beautifully written, drawn, and directed. Don't be turned off by the 1st episode which isn't very sci fi and more like film noir cliche stuff. The future world unfolds over the episodes along with the back story of how it evolved though another great thing is each episode stands independently.

There is supposed to be a live action movie coming out at some point in the future. I thought there would be a third season but l guess l am wrong.

Steins gate is class. Time travel sci fi. Bit of a slow burner but get past the first two episodes it’s quality on Netflix as well.

Steins;Gate is brilliant. Some unique characterisations and a great, but inevitably confusing, take on the time travel concept with a ton of real world references and conspiracies. Solid choice. However, I highly recommend this viewing order: Steins;Gate episodes 01-22 then episode 23β (alternate version of 23), Steins;Gate 0 episodes 01-23 (you can watch somewhere online or on Crunchyroll) then original Steins;Gate series episodes 23-24. Sounds confusing lol but honestly this is the best way to experience the story.

Not so much science fiction but I really enjoyed Deathnote.

Kaiba does the job.

Finished kaiba the other night from this recommendation. Thought it was class, trippy as fuck.

I love the premise here with the mind-body interchange but its really hard for me to get past the drawing. It seems more like something out of Spain in the 1930s than Anime.

9 (I think) half an hour animated films set within The Matrix universe. All are interesting and well animated, but a few are stellar.

There’s one created by Shinichiro Watanabe, of cowboy beebop and samurai champloo (my personal favourite).

If you haven’t seen it, buy the dvd and watch it; if you have seen it, back me up!

Deathnote was good, so was One Punch Man. Terror in Residence was really good too. And I quite liked Knights of Sidonia. Or just watch Akira and Ghost in the Shell and be done with it :)

Sci fi anime faves:
Noein (short series based on quantum physics theory),
Gintama (comedy anime partly set in space),
Ergo proxy (short dystopian series in futuristic world),
Inuyashiki (Old man becomes a weaponized cyborg and you follow his story),
Parasyte (High school kid gets infected by an alien parasyte),
And last but not least!
Psycho pass, it has 3 seasons and about 5 movies on the same world. A world which is monitored by an expert crime a.i. program, people get a hue which shows how likely to commit crime you will be, it's hard to explain but definitely my favourite sci fi series for a while.

Edens Zero is a new series if you want somthing light hearted and not too heavy ... if you want heavy watch Gantz, Straight jacket, Karas ect.... Brynhildr in the Darkness is not bad ether has a sci-fi take on witches being aliens..

Trigun was one of my favourite highly recommended it. The 7 deadly sins is pretty cool.

Terra formars is one of my all time favorites, parasyte is great but more body horror than sci fi

Think someone has mentioned all of these, but still
gurren lagann, Evangelion, Cowboy bebop, Space Dandy, Legend of the galactic heroes are some of the heavy hitters that everyone should see
Planetes is lesser known and quite low stakes but really good show about a crew who live on a satellite and have to collect trash from earth's orbit
Kaiba is great if you can stomach the art-style and are high enough to understand what's going on

Steins Gate has to be number 1 it’s one of the best anime's even outside of just the sci fi category, I highly recommend it, it has really interesting plot-lines about time-travel. Parasyte is also another great watch along with cowboy bebop a classic futuristic western like show.

Space dandy. Some really good episodes to watch stoned especially the first few.

Non SciFi recommendation would be Kakegurui, if you haven't watched it watch it stoned it's really good. It's about gambling and girls that leak a lot of fluid.
Also 'close enough' is quite good to watch stoned from the makers of the regular show but for adults.
All should be on Netflix.

Castlevania on Netflix is awesome! Not really sci-fi but the art style is great and a nice spin on an old tale. I binge watched 3 seasons in like 3days lol

In essence it is man being puppeted by Satan into trying to eradicate God. To replace God with a counterfeit. It is the attempt at justifying what was done in the Garden of Eden and fulfilling Satans promise that 'ye will be as Gods'.

I would argue we are already in a post-humanist world, and have been for some time, with the evolution of media, pointedly the internet, on group mentality, opinion and aligning of thought. All through intense, persistent and unrelenting social pressure, various political propagandas and essentially, marketing.

The coagulation of collective conscious intentions via the internet, dispersing opinion, values and philosophies, dispenses of the opinion forming skills of those exposed to it more and more as generations turn over. This has happened in stages since the introduction of the web and I believe can be prevalently seen in the west. In particular, in political states which lean more towards capitalism, as this effectively 'supercharges' the evolution of these mass influences.

We as humans are physically not really evolving any more, Darwinism isn't exactly hitting the spot for us, take a walk through any small town centre and I'm sure you'll find it hard to disagree (We do still hold the record as the best long distance land animal though if I'm not mistaken). We do however evolve behaviourally at an astronomical scale when compared to other species.

Whether the invocation of an effective 'hive mind' on our selves causes us to enter a state of 'post' humanism is open to debate of course, but i think on the Richter scale of change it scores rather high.

I think everyone in the world has something they are addicted to...which could be ANYTHING ... edible or not ... drama addicts are best in groups with others who are of the same ilk, just like a hobby club or something.

I am addicted to nature, and cheese ! ... I could not be indoors for to long, also was addicted to being alone...so literally a human can be addicted to anything...best leave everyone to it ... and just worry about you and yours. Addictions come and go. Some take a hold of you. And others are just a 'binge' session that caused the addiction etc

As for anger... I would like to say that if you do not feel anger after grief... it can lead to severe depression... anger is a natural emotion, that is often not 'allowed' .... BUT ... after grief and sorrow and loss...there is an anger period that must be embraced...so that it does not turn inwards, then comes the peace and understanding...but if anger is not tolerated (even in natural circumstances) then we are heading for a very mentally ill planet. Anger must be safely expressed so that the healthier emotions/feelings can surface...and set the brain straight !

I also recently found out that Tinnitus (that ringing in the ears) causes depression and anxiety, to the point where millions are seeking help through the mental hospitals, because of low funding for research into Tinnitus.

I have it... and it drives me mad sometimes... there is no known cure at the mo... I have learned to live with it...and now I barely notice I have it... last week the estimate was 3.6 million sufferers in the UK alone ... who have no where to turn. As very little funding for them to find a cure.

I would like to hear from anyone else who has any solutions for this, or something that works for them in order to cope with it. I have done alot of research over the years...but it would be great to hear from real people about this ?

Were the carts good? I have messaged weedstar to find out a bit more and how they are selling these carts so cheap? They sound like they are fantastic quality but are about half the price of other vendors which makes me think twice. I have been burnt badly by some dodgy carts on here and now I just mainly stick with SN2D as at least you know what you’re getting from cali, proper tracking back to plant and farm etc. Not making any claims at all until I try them, I’ve messaged the vendor and am going to order multiple carts today to try them myself but just curious.

Haven’t received the testers yet but I’ll let you know when they come.

We try and be as transparent as possible with how our vapes are made & we always test our distillate for synthetics to make sure the distillate we buy is definitely just THC and hasn't been cut with anything else. The only other ingredient we use is Terpenes from terpenes UK which seems to be a reputable seller of terpenes. I think that random testing would be a good idea for everyone, I would be more than happy for any of our products to be randomly tested, I feel like the only people that wouldn't like some form of testing are people selling dodgy products lol
