Help Needed: Can't buy BTC any more, don't have correct KYC!
I've only been using this site for a week and BTC for a few months. The sites I've previously used such as Changally and Paybis now all want ID.
I only have a passport that's a few years out of date, no driving licence or other official card etc. All I want to do is buy BTC with my UK issued Visa card...any ideas?
I'm really confused by what I've been reading online, the workarounds seem incredibly complicated. I just want to pay some of the fine folks on here, ASAP...

Can't use Coinomi, they use Simplex to process BTC purchase and they want a valid passport which i don't have.
I've tried loads of other places and am coming up against the same ID problem everywhere.
Looking at riskier options, but I can't use TOR and am struggling to get my head around how p2p trading networks work. Bollox!

I downloaded the Exodus app to both phone and tablet, but after working out a few kinks and waiting as it installed and got set up (it's clearly quite a powerful app) discovered the BTC buying part (it seems to do loads of stuff, managing coins, trading wallet etc) but sadly found that it automatically used Moonpay for buying, which led me back to the usual KYC problems.

Nowadays all centralised exchangers will require ID for check. Moonpay KYC is normally based upon your name and addresss check if any of those are not confirmed by their system automatically e.g could not find you through their system on address then they will require id check. You can try using someone’s name that you know lived at the address for more than 5 years and it normally automatically verifies , but still expect them to ask for id at some point as its regulations they have to follow.
Would definitely avoid purchasing fron non KYC for millions reasons, first would be to not get scammed :)

I had the same issue, ended up getting a new passport. Buying from a place without needing id checks is really risky.

I've just tried both Moonpay and Banxa, both sites asked for ID, tried my outdated passport but both places rejected it.

Bisq is a wallet with an integrated P2P exchange, meaning you can buy Bitcoin without KYC. However, you can't really get small amounts, hence why I haven't tried it myself. If that is fine by you though, it does fuck you less on the additional fees. If not, you can find other no-KYC exchanges if you google 'kycnot'.
That said, I would like to hear other suggestions as I am close to giving up on P2P altogether. I keep waiting 20-30 mins for a response, only for the seller to demand photo verification. Bitch, if I wanted to do that, I would sign up with Revolut or something.

Unfortunately Bittylicious now require KYC for amounts of around £50+ and having tried every regular site I can find with no luck, I'm starting to look at p2p options, which seem incredibly complicated!
I gave up on HodlHodl as I came to the same conclusion as yourself: seemingly easy, and I couldn't work it out. Bittylicious have a system where you can send them scans of bills and things like that if you don't have the standard recognised by AI upload documents. A human then looks at it. Something for the morning, perchance?
Yeah, I noticed on Bittylicious they have other options, but they specifically state the photo ID must not be expired - and that old passport is my only photo ID.
I will probably enquire as to whether we can find a workaround, as it looks like a good site to have for the future. Sadly I need to get this payment made by the morning, which is not looking likely unless I get lucky tonight!

Try revolut online bank, its a selfie and a pic of your passport. You can transfer in and buy btc .definitely worth having a look
I checked their site, passports need to be valid, mine expired a few years ago.

What to do if seller sends bad product then behaves strangely?
A seller I'd successfully bought from previously, listed some very interesting and tempting bud last week. I bought a Q, but it was some bone dry absolute shit when I got it - ironically very well packaged!
Now this seller has stopped using messenger and delisted all their items. What do I do next?
I could try and take photos of the dry, dead bud that turns to powder when ground. However this seller still has a really good score, so might win any automated settlement.
If the seller has made a genuine mistake, I'd be happy with a refund and can delete all this if necessary.
However I've got a funny feeling about this, and want to act fast if necessary. I also want to know how long I'm likely to have to wait for a refund, assuming I get one? What should I be doing now to protect my money?

This is very much what the dispute process is for. If the vendor has shut up shop and there is zero comms then its likely to be settled in your favour. Dispute tab appears on Day 9, that creates a 16 day window for the vendor to resolve with you and then auto settlement occurs if not. Good luck...

Can be lots of reasons I guess. Family emergency. That sort of thing. It happens. If it goes as far as the dispute date. Then that’s your option. Be patient. I’ve had stuff take 7 days with no comms either before. It’s always turned up in the end.
...but this has already turned up - it's worthless dead, dry, hard weed that couldn't be smoked in joints and does nothing in the vape. It's nothing like the advertised product. This seems to have been clearly executed as an out and out scam, nothing else would explain these circumstances.
I don't think it's fair to the vendor at this stage. They've not used messenger since Friday lunchtime, so have not had a chance to respond. I hope this makes sense. It's not like they have anything available to buy, so no unsuspecting customers are at risk.

Maybe the reputation score being negatively affected will matter when they're back - how long after leaving reviews do you have to change the scores, edit text etc, before it's set in stone?

As per the title. Got a PAX Mini at the weekend. I've been learning it for 24+ hours; disappointment at first, now loving the high I'm slowly managing to get, so keeping going until I get it right. So...
I've only had some old Galactic Cookies from Madbudz so far. Even in joints it never seemed that potent. I really like the high though, so wonder what to buy now?
I've got to order bud here today (27-11-23, preferably by lunchtime) as I've run out. This is my first vaporizer and I don't know anyone else who uses them. I just wondered if there was some good advice to be had...
I need weed tomorrow, to use in my new PAX Mini. I don't know what to buy, I just want something either really strong (I can't spend the rest of my life just sitting, slowly improving my ability to suck correctly!) or just something that'll go in a very cheap grinder, which doesn't seem to get anywhere near fine, so maybe whatever compensates for that, too?
**TL;DR** I haven't bought raw weed here yet. Just started using a PAX Mini. Limited resources all around; budget £80 at most, hopefully. Needed sent Royal Mail SD ND by 1pm, tracking provided (ideally.)

They will all vape in the same manner but hazes are sativa buzzes if that’s your thing. If you prefer a relaxing chill choose an indica. You can ask him to split your 7g between two choices, he won’t mind but you might be a bit tight on time if you don’t move fast😉

Personally I don’t need my tracking #, it should be with me before I start to worry. What I want to be able to do is say to the vendor “my order hasn’t arrived today can you please check the tracking and let me know where it is?”…. I’ve never had a problem that way…

I've been looking for a good weed plug here since I joined, but it wasn't needed until now. So many of the sellers with the best reputations have minimums, though at least I'll have another buy now.

Any vendor you like the look of just drop them a message via chat letting them know what you would like to order. Most vendors will give you a green light if they have had a chat with you first especially if you have a buy or two in the bag👍

Preheat...on a disposable?
As a relatively recent arrival here every vendor is pretty new to me, yet I've already settled into comfortable purchasing patterns from which I generally only deviate for two main reasons. The first is any kind of recommendation from someone I trust, the second is when a post near the top of the wall attracts my attention to a listing, product type or a specific seller.
I bought two of these vapes after casually posting I had X amount BTC rattling around an old wallet, and a popular poster politely pointed me to Urban Leaf Co. Since then I've bought a few more and recieved the same great products, alongside timely and helpful customer service. Aside from the slight discount I recieved on my first order, every Urban Leaf Co product was purchased at full price.
This was my first CCELL disposable with a button, so the user guide on the packaging was a nice touch - try Googling for help there and you quickly see how many proverbial pies CCELL have their fingers in!
I haven't really needed to use all the features, but the clicks are pretty standard including a surprisingly loud preheat function. I'm sure there are good reasons behind this fatter, squat shape, but I prefer the ergonomics of the long, thin style disposable design. It's obviously not particularly important, but I find the latter slightly easier for taking subtle tokes in mixed company.
When I started on my second vape, I got in the habit of simply ensuring it was turned on and pre-heated once, then just leaving it that way for the day. This is strong, high quality D9 with the viscosity inherent in such, and I like to take a few big tokes before putting these things aside. I didn't think the preheat improved my blinkers, but others might be more sensitive to the difference that makes especially if you're using it in a cold environment.
Despite not needing to use this preheat (yet...) I'm confident it would be really useful in clearing a blockage, for example. Presumably an even thicker product would benefit from a 10 second preheat every time, but here I think it's fair to say it's most likely to be useful in solving a problem.
I didn't notice any change in battery life when I left it switched on, so it makes more sense to treat it like a regular disposable, with an inbuilt solution to the most common problems should such arise.
I've had quite a few flavours now, as I always just ask for a random selection. I honestly don't care too much about flavours, unless they're unnecessarily strong - in which case I'd definitely not be back! These vapes have a variety of flavours, but the difference between them doesn't seem that big to my palate.
The flavours may be mild, but these hit real strong. Just a couple of long tokes and I get a lovely big buzz.
So basically my conclusion - a few similar vapes all around this price, I've tried a range of disposables but these are what I've been coming back to. They feel stronger and one unit lasts me longer.
I've never seen this ULC item on the wall, so I thought I'd just type up my thoughts and pay forwards the help I've been lucky to receive.

Advice on effective use of my collected vape cleanings?
I've had a Pax vape for a few months now, and over that time it's probably had 3-4 zips of good British bud pass through it. I've been cleaning it every day, then leaving the brush overnight to see how much collects on the end by morning. After days, weeks, and now months, I may still not have very much, but after making the effort to collect it up, I now want to consume what little I have gathered in the most effective way that's practical.
Most of the hard work was done via a variation on the dab tool technique, using plastic instead of greaseproof paper to collect up all the scrapings and so forth. However now I've managed to collect a little lump, I realised I don't know what to do with it! I stopped smoking a while ago, but regardless I wouldn't want to just put this in a joint.
I don't know how strong it is, as the consistency is similar to the nasty tasting black tarry stuff we used to scrape out of pipes (mostly rocky) as youngsters. However as this has come from pure good weed, I figured it should taste better even if it's not strong, and ideally I'd like to consume it in a way that lets me know how strong it is.
Although I don't normally smoke now, I'd still be happy trying a one-hit type smoking technique with this stuff. The biggest problem is the consistency, as it's too soft and oily for buckets or a normal hash pipe, even using the crack pipe technique of layering cigarette ash underneath.
There are two methods I think might work, but both come with problems. Hot knives were an obvious solution, but I've only ever done them with old school rocky so don't know how well they work with this stuff. Also I'm not 14 years old, plus oven hobs have changed a bit and I wouldn't know where to put the knife on mine (convection)!
There is one method that should theoretically work, but whether it works easily or effectively is another matter: it was actually the colour and consistency which gave me the idea of trying to chase a beetle of this on some tin foil. It'll look real bad if I'm caught, but that element aside, isn't it basically the same principle as those cheap little glass American style crack pipes? Effectively the foil with the oily resin stuff on it works like the glass bowl, as a solid platform you can apply heat to. Then just use a properly folded (so when unfolded any deposits are easily accessed) foil tube to inhale through, basically creating a separate stem that can follow the hot smoke across the foil, although that might be too narrow if there's loads of smoke, so I'd also try a funnel with a wide spout or something similar.
I'm looking to use this up now partly as I'm intending to buy a better vape - most likely a Tinymight 2 - which I doubt will leave as much over, but if it does I'll want to keep that seperate. I know some vapes (including the Pax's big brother) come with accessories for hash, concentrates and so forth, but I never read much about owners actually using them in all the posts and reviews about dry herb vapes.
One reason I'm taking this long to buy a new better vape is because no one seems keen to give me a deal. One place offered me a free accessory, but even after reading the description I didn't have a clue what it was for. If I'm forced into paying retail, I'll probably start a new topic here asking for advice about which of the many accessories are likely to be useful for me, but if anyone can suggest UK Tinymight sellers worth approaching for either a discount or some *useful* accessories, I'd be very grateful!

If you are planning on doing more solids in the future the Mighty is a more versatile choice than the TM2. Also there are plenty of deals on used but pristine TM2’s….👍
What a fucking D'oh! moment, it never occurred to me it would already be decarbed. That's great news, but it can't weigh much and my edible tolerance is huge. Still, better than the other option there!

Partially because you are paying for the kit- the battery. Some 510 carts on their own are cheaper and you provide the kit. Look at Dr.Terpy for the cheapest.
I see what you mean. I've never had the battery to try carts with, otherwise I certainly would give them a go.

My method of dealing with dry herb vape residue is 'rinsing' with coconut oil. Because the sticky residue is also a bit oily in nature, it sticks to the coconut oil really well - making a bonus edible. Clean as normal afterwards.

Hi folks - I'm a bit stuck - I just made an order - paid it and when I've looked back at little biggy a few minutes later my order isn't showing in the orders list. Any ideas anyone?
I've had that happen and the first solution suggested here sorted it out, thankfully. All I did was log out and log in, just to be 100% sure I was logged in, then using the browser history I simply navigated to the page(s) where I'd placed the original order, possibly reloading it a couple of times (I was new here, just following instructions) and possibly also logging out and logging back in again.
Hopefully someone else will fill in any gaps, but to the best of my recollection the above was all I needed to do, as suddenly I could see the order on my account. It was really peculiar to be honest, and assuming we had the same problem, there's really no rhyme nor reason I can discern around how something like that can happen, yet I've noticed a few others with this issue in my relatively brief time here.

I must have not been logged in. Contacted seller who had received funds and processed order. All ended well.. Ill not make that mistake again. Thanks folks.
My browser history deletes everything when the browser closes - it has to be this way so that won't work for me but hopefully it will pop back in when sent.
Last couple of mine havent shown up in orders list till they were marked as sent, could it be same thing?

Went to login today and just says no user with that name and password has a account. Anyone know who to contact to get this sorted ? if its even possible to get my account back ?
Exactly the same thing happened to me today. I placed an order last night, but can't see the details as I've had to create this new account. Now I don't know what to do!
All you can do is wait I started a new account and messaged my usual vendors and they are ok with me being new as they have sent to my address many times before weird as mine deleted just after I see my item was sent

I didn't expect it to work, but it did. As soon as I logged in again the order page reloaded and a pop up announcement advised that this order was now being assigned to my account.
