Thought I would share a pleasant interaction between me and Medi Mart.

I'll start with the fact I never read the full description, that's on me, my bad. There is a minimum 15 buys required before buying from Medi Mart, I liked the look of the moonrocks they have for sale and bought them, then realised I missed the min 15 buys!

I was gutted as you can expect, the order was cancelled and I was refunded 2 days later, pretty fast considering.

Every message I sent MM was replied to promptly, MM explains the reasoning behind the min 15 buy rule they have, it is to keep the sellers reputation intact, which is fully understandable as I have seen other sellers targeted with bad reviews by accounts with no history of previous buys!

These seem to be trolls/other sellers! So I fully understand the 15 min order buy rule, MM also state to message first before buying if you have less then 15 orders, I also didn't message before hand!

What I was not expecting was the offer of a free sample of moonrocks sent to me by MM! This was a very pleasant and most welcomed offer! They did not have to but they did and I must say I was impressed and can see why the reviews on the moonrocks in question are so good.

MM have been great with the comms, what started as a gutted, my order was cancelled, turned out to be one of my best interactions with a seller on LB! We had a decent conversation which I enjoyed, receiving a free sample was the icing on the cake.

They went out of their way even tho I couldn't order from them, this is above and beyond in my book and well worth the mention, once my order count is up I will look forward to ordering some of MM goodies. It's just a shame sellers have to go to such lengths in order to protect themselves!

Fully understandable tho.

Anyway, I just thought I would share this experience as it was a great interaction, I will be seeing you soon MM 😉

I sent MM 2 messages to ask if they would let me buy from them as I had a 10 buy history and an 11th order on the way and they completely blanked me, no response whatsoever! Make of that what you will

I wouldn't let it put u off, it has probably jus been an honest oversight on their behalf ... I can truly say M-M is possibly 1 of the top vendors for "comms" .. I have bought numerous times from M-M and the comms r outstanding ... anyway g/luck + njoy LB 😎😎

I have to agree with 420thejackal tbh, probably an oversight, MM responded to me promptly! I did actually order from them tho so there were a live order that was cancelled! Your DM might have fell under the radar!

You can't really return goods! I would imagine there is no return address due to safety concerns!

The first thing to do is contact the seller and try and sort it out with them.

Failing that, open a dispute.

Send a pic of the mould to the vendor, just tell him you didn't order what was sent and you'd appreciate what you paid for .if all fails dispute .

I am speaking to him. He sent me a message saying he never had one of them in. The other is not G13 and it was sent unlabelled, so I've now asked him what was actually sent to me. I never ordered either! still awaiting reply. He could have easily messaged me asking me what to swap it with . I also waited 3 days for it not "24hrs"

Tried to buy on Monday and Tuesday and sending fees were still too high :(( has anyone been able to send via Coinbase with reasonable fees?

Tried getting small order in today, bought £80 worth from CB, £3 or so to buy, fantastic i thought, we'll be smoking tomorrow i thought, then i went to send it to my own wallet i was quoted £20.
I'll buy a little more btc tonight and see how gas fees are then, thinking about trying to send in the early hours to see if that helps.

Good info. Much appreciated. I use CB mostly too but was in the conundrum how much BTC to buy without knowing the sending fee.

It's gotta be an Oz to make it swallowable then at £20.
Annoying near the end of the month before payday when I only want a Q :(

Gas fees are coming down now it would seem, trick is to catch the wave before they shoot back up again.
Can't see CB fees being £20 right now, the mempool seems quite slick currently.

I feel so unlucky to be a Coinbase user during this time as it seems to have higher fees than any other judging by some of the quotes that I've heard people complaining about but that I'd be happy with in comparison. Finally gave in yesterday and bought a 0.5g cart with the btc I had planned to buy 2 full carts with just a week ago when fees were normal lol.

unless you're just timing it wrong with the time of day youre checking it does sound like coinbase are selectively screwing their customers somehow. fees are back to reasonable levels at the time of writing this. I stopped using coinbase after they asked for more documentation after already providing it all previously. imagine if your bank asked for that every year. clowns

26/04/2024 - if sending fees on coinbase are still high it's likely theyre choosing to screw you because the btc mining fees have came back down.

Instead of buying BTC from coinbase buy SOL which is far cheaper. Transfer the SOL to another wallet that can swap SOL to BTC. Then spend BTC on your orders so your only getting hit once on the BTC gas fees.

Littlebiggy is in a bad state right now! Sales have dramatically dropped due to the high BTC fees people are going elsewhere come on borgs please add a Litecoin payment option it has very small fees and faster confirmation times than Bitcoin it’s a no brainer! I know this has been suggested for many years but nothing has been implemented and we are paying the price now! There are other markets that accept different crypto once people start finding out they will never come back here for the sake for the future of this place WE NEED LITECOIN TO BE ADDED NOW!!

I think a major frustration for loyal biggas is the typical administrative silence. There is no sense that we are in this together, no recognition of the problem. A simple pinned update on progress for change and a tactful expression of regret for something thats been a problem now for years would be something.
Yes, OK, we might be just a bunch of hopeless stoners and troublesome weirdos but a lot of people need and use this site not for recreation but for medication and I think that deserves a little empathy....

I wonder what the reason is for the admins being so quiet on this? I find it very curious that they don't tell us anything. The silence gives me the impression that they have no intention of implementing a new payment system but don't want to say this in case loads of people go elsewhere because they know a lot of us are holding out hope. I can't really think of any other reason. If it was a case of not being able to find developers to implement it then surely there's no reason they can't just say that. People will understand and hold onto the hope that someday, hopefully soon, they will find someone who can. But as it stands it looks like they don't give a fuck, they know the network fees will come down again, probably quite soon, and they'll be raking it in again.

LB don't address it because they are completely separate entities from the payment processors.

There are definitely teams with ambitions of bringing a new payment option as soon as possible although you can't rush this sort of thing.

One of those teams has given many updates but are still months away from launching.

As for the OP, Litecoin is not viable as far as I am concerned due to the requirements LB demand from processors.

I still can't see why the admins don't communicate with us on this. Surely they are up to speed on the latest developments of these teams that are working on implementing a new payment option.

Like probably many people, I fall into both of those groups. Am both a stoner weirdo and have pain to deal with. The latter mostly self inflicted due to extreme sport hobbies for too many years but it doesn't make it hurt less. This hiccup though means it's not viable for me to order right now whereas I was a regular spender here. It also means long term I need a better plan-b in case this happens again. I hope the admins can get it sorted.

I know it’s been hot topic for years many vendors calling for change in the payment system unfortunately it seems like it’s fallen on deaf ears or maybe the admins haven’t found anyone to work on it. It’s a highly sensitive area to work in reality I’m sure it’s not easy to get developer on board for an illegal site.

I see my great freind cleanup borg has liked the post. If you can see this please tell your borg buddies to get this sorted the site is going to shit lol!

I actually don’t like calling out the admins like this they have built a great site amazing community we just need another payment system to help the longevity of this family!

FOR - realise this is not the first time this topic has cropped up but would be a good opportunity to address it or as Polly mentioned, any update would be welcomed. I suspect a big drop in usage would not be good for LB. But I am sure local plugs down the road won’t mind the extra bit of business. that is the boat a lot of customers will find themselves in I think esp. as times are hard enough financially for most.

For - I it’s been a running topic for a while now, Blockhead had a project going but there has been no update on that. It’s definitely an issue but somehow LB powers through, I’ve seen a couple of clear net sites pop up and go down in the last couple of months.
I’ve limited my buys to when the price is right but that seems far and few between.
