Hash...which one?!

So I've been smoking bud for 10 years now, bit of a novice with it all, literally bought from the same guy for 10 years, always had haze and now the standard stardawg and the odd home made edible here and there... I've ordered some buds from TGT which I can't wait for but I've never actually tried hash! Mad I know.

So which is best? I know it's personal choice and flavour, I like a strong high, and very citrus flavours. Any recommendations would be awesome LB crew.

Not much chance of any for a while I'm afraid my friend.
I've posted a link that's on my home page to two big articles that seems to explain why this. Stick with green for now would be my advice until supplies are back and the product gets back to a reasonable price.
Most vendors on this site have had decent hash - UK 420 has some outstanding examples and Drugs inc UK have also gotten some great product in the past.

Hash smoke has a very different flavour profile from smoking bud. The flavours tend to be earthy, woody and spice, like a whiskys notes, rather than fruity and floral like bud. Hash can and often does smell like its parent genetics, so you can get a lovely lemony smelling hash, but it won't really taste like that smoked. To get bud flavour profiles in concentrates you would want to look at waxes, crumble and the like, as these do taste like a suped up bud profile, sometimes more subtle but always more potent.

Just my personal view on the subject to temper your expectations of what a hash is. There are some wonderful flavours and potentcies around, but they will vary drastically between people. I can recommend TGT's 24K Kush hash, that was a lovely smoke if it's still up.

Uk420 is top top quality. Used all latest hash vendors now and UK420 in stock The green crack black stamp is up there with RB chapo stamp critical (not in stock). Thats a huge compliment.

I second uk 420s hash. I got some Porsche stamp recently and it’s lovely and soft and quite strong. I vape so I get almost chocolately and vanillary tastes. Reminds me of a good milk stout if you’re into your real ales :D

I'm almost exclusively hash as long as I can get good ones, and there are several good vendors on here.
Bit of a drought atm, so choice is limited and costs through the roof, but UK 420 is a great place to start and consistently delivers excellent hash.

Would Biggas be interested in Cali grown green?

This is just an idea here Biggas, want your advice whether we should do this for you all...

So I'm not a vendor currently, just a customer on here, my friend is moving back to the UK from LA (I know, why would you ever leave LA haha). I spoke to him today and I mentioned LB to him, he's a huge smoker, got me into green and is constantly sending me images of insanely good looking weed he gets in LA. I wont go into detail for obvious reasons but I work in logistics and haulage, its very possible I can arrange pure cali grown top shelf green into the hands of the LB community.

Here's a list of the current strains we can get, quantities yet to be confirmed:

Zkittlez OG
Gelato (need to confirm which #)
White widow
Bubba Kush
Pineapple Express
Cookies Kush (an oz already en route to me so some may be available soon)

Understandably, with a lot of us here on LB, price is key. I wont lie to you my good people, due to the cost of getting the strains across the pond, and the general price of weed in Cali can be higher than the UK, we won't be the cheapest on here.

Obviously, personally I have yet to sample any of the above strains, my good pal has a serious eye for weed so I know these really will be the dogs bollocks.

A vague idea on what pricing COULD be, this isn't set in stone, it's just a ball figure.

3.5g - $75
7g - $140
14g - $280
28g - $550

Dont quote me on the prices above, this is based on what he pays he currently, plus transportation, plus delivery costs to you, so if we do go live, the prices may be different.

Tempted by the shake purely for cost and weigh reasons. I smoke my bud mainly in joints, grinded up. I've been told if I'm grinding the bud anyway shake is the best way to go for my daily smokes, but I need the biggas opinions! Shake or not to Shake?

I’ve had dust/shake from RB and TGT and to be fair it’s not a bad smoke, you gotta be realistic about it though, it’s not like you are paying for the knockout grade. For the amount you get, for the price, it’s a good deal. Hence why it doesn’t last too long. I smoke every day and Shake is good enough to keep me going when funds are low. Just got paid so my next order is gonna b some knockout shit. Will post pics next time I get shake though pal

I've had radars shake couple times and it nice especially if your on a budget, usually when my funds are low I get shake just to do ontill I get enough money for more proper bud, it's a nice option to have, so ye if you haven't tried defo give it a go,

I’m sure most people grind their buds up before making a smoke so purchasing shake would be a no brainer for some to buy. I want to purchase myself but I need to know from somebody who purchased it before to tell me exactly what they got and how nice of a taste/stone the shake had I see a few vendors selling complete dust which is a bit dodgy for someone who never purchased it and reviews don’t help either I like reviews with picture added and most reviewers on this site just leave have a comment.

Hi fellow Biggies. Not long on here but WHERE HAVE YOU BEEN ALL MY LIFE?!!!! Pig in shit here. Anyway I like a spliff with nice hash, sometimes I use weed and I’m wanting to move away from tobacco for obvious reasons but not move away from spliffs. Blunts don’t work with hash and I’m no heavyweight smoker so waste a good bit of weed doin blunts. Does anybody here use tobacco substitutes and if so any advice would be much appreciated!! :)

This is the question everyone gets to eventually, personally I fully believe that there is NOTHING that will ever be able to replace a good joint. Nothing. If you like sitting with a good spliff then there's no replacing it. You can try tobacco substitutes but they are too harsh and taste funky, you can go pure weed joints but that can be expensive if you're not self growing.

I've been smoking for 20+ years now and am at the same point where I know it's time to start giving up the baccy but there's just nothing better than sparking up a joint after hitting the bong lol

It's a sacrifice that has to be made at some point I guess. Will be soon for me (especially since my baccy seems to last 5minutes these days).

If I'm wrong though and you or anyone else has a solution I'd like to know too :)

Alas my friend, this is a mission that i too have been on for a long time. Sadly in my experiments to enjoy hash once again i tried vaping, pipe, bong but it just wasnt the same...
I got fed up of finding amazing hash here and wasting it with attempts to substitute a good old fashioned spliff. I tried expensive smoking mixes, trim and lower grade weeds like Sess, thai and bush but none came close. I found that they took away from the stone of the hash and it becomes a mixed buzz. You also loose the subtle flavours of the hash.
I wish you well on this search and please get back to me if you find anything that comes close

As much as i hate myself for saying this i just had to concede when DrugsInc dropped their 00! There was no way i was gonna use that sub optimally and so bought a pouch of my old poison. I pulled out my tray, made a pattern and rolled a beauty.
I wont lie... it was blissful and took me back 20years. The flavours , high and the sense of occasion and it was a great evening.
For a hash fanatic i cant recommend DrugsInc 00 highly enough but this is just my personal opinion. Lovely clean high with both cerebral and body elements and a sense of comfort and contentment.

Nothing works for me mate, I just quit smoking and started vaping. I liked blunts and big bongs with sprinkle of tobacco on top to get you extra high, but health is more important. Fucking love weed, but I love my lungs as well lol. I Tried stuff like greengo, mellow mallow, real leaf and a bunch self made mixes and low grade weed. I like smoking weed on itself but it makes me cough like hell, vape works best for me. My gf enjoys realleaf smoking mix (terpenes infused ones) but it smells horrible for a passive smokers. fucking weird as fuck. personally I would recommend vapes, something like dynavap or storz and bickel.

Like BarbellHunter says it's not for everyone. You can get thai on hear the amazing LB and its vendors and cbd flower i get mine @ cleverbotanics.com do some really nice cbd flower and fast delivery. Like I say I dynavap most of the time with thc sativa and indica. But this works for me.

Hi unclefuzzy. I mostly use mullein which has the alleged added benefit of helping to clean the lungs. I've tried damiana but didn't really like the taste. Sometimes I add a bit of chamomile in the mix. I've never smoked tobacco so I'm sorry I can't tell you if this will hit the spot in that respect.

JDOG gave us a heads up on a company cleverbotanics.com so I contacted them. They seem to sell bud but without the THC. I asked of them - “I’m after a flower with minimal taste and minimal CBD, a very neutral flower if this makes sense? Could you recommend something?” They replied - “ Many thanks for your email.
One of our grower that strongly bleives in natural approach has produced, Pineapple Buffalo, Strawberry Raccoon and Harlequine Tiger that have the similar profile to what you are asking”

haha yeah I absolutely love good dawg strains :) Some people get sick of it because Stardawg is everywhere but a good dawg is guaranteed to be banging and the Chemdawg traits produce an excellent high (imo) and covers all bases.

I can vouch for the Dairy Queen. It’s not really cheesy but you’ll definitely taste it and the added fruityness complements it nicely. The high definitely feels cheesy as well.

Wattup Z! Got some Grape Pie and a second purchase of Elphinstone in the door on Tuesday. The Grape Pie is special bro, taste wise it's verrrry nice but the fucking smell that comes out if the bag once you crack it open is bananas. Fucking reeks of goodness. The discobiscuit always comes and goes quickly on LB which tells me the people who like it, really fucking like it lol. Can't go wrong with the Grape Pie or DB in my opinion but the grape is nice for a treat as it costs a tad extra

I know the feeling mate, I was humming and hawing about doing a half and half or going big for one strain but delighted that I picked it up in all fairness. I'm the same with the DB, missed it twice but it always seems to come back around. Apparently the last time the grape was about was December so I thought I would hedge my bets and get a bit lol.

Hey Biggaz!! It's nice to be here to finally say, I HAVE A GOOD ONE!! :D After a few shocking weeks (nothing TGT related) I was almost losing faith in LB! BUT!! Here comes The Green Team to rescue us all from the darkness of fresh/damp/odorless/tasteless/weak weed!!!

GELATO - First up, this stuff stinks!! It's potent aroma can't be ignored! Deep, Earthy and Fruity notes to finish! Stick your nose in the bag and take a deep breath! It's heaven! Especially if you love those danky dank scents! No haze here!!

The prominence of the Sunset Sherbet is outstanding! And the creeping strengths of Girl Scout Cookies are so pleasurable! I am a huge fan of Gelato! If you have been lucky enough to try a few of the sister strains, I would liken this one more to 41, than say 33 or Chocolate Gelato. Which is great! As 41 is the strongest ;) up to 31% THC it has been known ;)

The smoke of this particular crop is smooth, delicious and temptingly morish! Not too dissimilar to Cherry Pie that TGT wielded a few weeks back! The flavours are like dark fruits. Blood orange perhaps. Slightly tingly on the tongue as the smoke washes around your mouth on the inhale. Beautiful sourness on the exhale. Almost like that cheesey tingle...but MUCH more pleasant in taste! Emphasis on that!!

The high is weighty. I am feeling myself drifting into deep thought and snapping out of a day dream! I have couch lock and feel very heavy. All good rings for me! Tick! Tick! Tick! All the boxes!!
I think you would enjoy getting into a good long documentary after smoking this. It's certainly the type of weed that gives you a want to stay still, warm and have munchies nearby! Probably not the best day time smoke if you are not a regular toker! This one is the shizz for strength! I cant fault it! Even as I type this review I am having to reach out and recollect My thoughts! Ahh GSC you are a beautiful mumma strain :D

The packaging and delivery speeds were exceptional! I always know My money is safe with TGT and their stealth is unmatched! I've had some dodgey packages lately from other vendors that put me on edge! Nothing but reassurance from TGT methods of packing and sending! My order was also on weight. Bang on in fact!

I would HIGHLY recommend TGT as a vendor! Put an order through will keep you in the loop, Gods connect white runts was certainly import, prior to lockdown I was smoking nothing but Cali so I’ve got a fair idea , but for the price it was worth the punt, in terms of flower hootan has had some of the best UK weed I’ve had in years, killer strains I’d fully recommend , and his Cali x rosin was out of this world. I remember the days When people were paying me 50quid a g for Cali lol but I agree I’ve seen a whole load of Canadian grown bud and Spanish grown trying to be passed as Cali, unfortunately a lot of people have not really smoked proper Cali strains from what I can gather they just been shafted by their dealers lol I was in veGas for Mike Tyson launch at planet 13 , largest dispensary in the world , there you get to see real bud then you can understand why Cali is so sought after here

The stuff i had from hootan wasnt really much worth the review. And you are right...most people have no idea what good weed is! Luckily, I'm well travelled and have had the delight of sampling, so have a pretty good idea, myself. Half of the "premium" strains ive paid for on here lately have been a complete waste of money. Even the ones which claim to have been imports. I dont think cali is much sort after at the prices...as we have both mentioned...most people are happy with lower grade even though it's not worth the money. Ive been a bit of a witch hunter about these bad strains lately *oops* But personally ive had no issue with my batch of Gelato and it was a refreshing change from the absolute trash ive received over and over from other vendors. That being said ..I didn't review the banana haze as it was a bit boring and dry. Same goes for Hootans jaffabone....not really worth its weight in stalk for strength if you ask me.....but hey....what do i know ;) hahah

To be fair to TGT, the pic you have uploaded here looks exactly like the pic they have uploaded as the stock image. Same colours and bud formation. My package came unlabelled with more than one strain, and it was easy to decipher which was the gelato by appearance, smell and taste. The high is also as expected for "gelato" without numbers (41-33 etc) ... After some seriously bad deals this has been a good one for me. And id not say that to win friends haha. Im sure my honesty isnt winning me votes with certain vendors but i will always give credit where credit is due. Could be grown better, of course....but may even be organic, which is becoming a trend these days...and leaves buds less dense as when pumped with chemicals.

Whilst I agree that that it smells lovely in the bag, I found the taste was very muted and not a strong high for Gelato. Wondering if I got sent the wrong strain having seen your review. Definitely not 120 for 7g in value, I've had better from TGT for 90 and 95 a q before (granted that was pre lockdown so maybe this is the equivalent with covid inflation).

Well that's stupid then causw premium means every single bid should be premium just like dispensary it should lbe tested and shittier buds should get disposed for edibles oe reduced price because who will pay for 65 dollar for bottom bud? For that price i expect evey of the bud to be inspected.

I guess you have the choice to buy or not to buy...as do we all. But I think maybe your expectations are a tad high, if you want growers to dump 40% of their grow and inspect every single bud for you, before shipping. This is a much smaller scale operation than anything you will see supplying a dispensary in california. I think its pretty common to receive upper and lower buds, even in Amsterdam and Spain. I cant vouch for USA but to be honest, its not really comparible. Thats why you see cali bud at $100+ a gram.

Well gl for them then as i got cookies on the way. Cereal milk. Gary payton and few other which idk just yet. straight from cookies dispensary ill be doing 3.5 packs for 80-90dollars just to be nice to people. Because i like this site but people exaggerating too much with the packaging and etc costs. If people want to spend for "premium" that includes bottom bud then they will want what i will have for an offer and will get few more plugs and watch these prices go low. And other then that when my grows will come on this site it will be sensible and standard prices. And if you pay ever 100 dollar for cali 1g then you getting robbed on a middle of the sunny day. 40-50 dollars. 60 max

I made a mistake. $100+ for 3.5g which is pretty common.

Another thing I would like to mention, is that I didn't grow, or sell this weed. It is not the most expensive I have bought on LB. And if you are saying you are going to be bringing something to the wall, that will rival prices, good luck! Can't wait to see you hold up to these quotes! Will be a happy edition to LB, I am sure :) I'm sure that if you build up a good reputation within the community, you will do well.

i have had bud from certain vendors lately that im sure had no thc value at all. All sold as premium. I'm finding this rather pleasant. Though, admittedly, some buds are better in quality/strength/flavour than others...but the deal as a whole has been a good one for me. Some of my nugs were rather juicy :)

Hootans ice cream cake was amazing and my last Super strawberry haze from DIUK also great. Defo recommend TGTs chocolate...very tasty edible. Most other recent buys slightly missing the mark across all vendors.

Prob would have a different view if prices were normal...they are back to normal on the streets where I am vendors!!

Personally mate that’s why I just can’t pass a certain price threshold I just wouldn’t know what it would take, or what my expectations to be for a 3.5, 7 whatever to be worth so much more than I’ve paid in 20 years. I would fear the more I pay the more I expect the more I’m disappointed. Personally I go for value for money these days rather have more in the jar for less coin than chasing something I’ll never find

See the slight yellowing on the bud here. It’s been left under the lights for that bit too long, mine has quite a bit of it. I’ve smoked an eighth in an afternoon, I’ve done this before with PREMIUM Gelato from a dispensary in LA, I was a gibbering wreck. Right now, I couldn’t be more disappointed and feel that little bit poorer, both in the soul, and the wallet.

What a treat for panda after a long tolerance break.
Dynavap at the ready I ground a small bit of this up, probably around 0.5g for me and the wife, lit the Dyna and sucked that bitch up.
It kinda took my legs away from underneath me, euphoria sets in, eyes feel heavy, but I'm super awake.

I know, fuck it, bang some MasterChef on.
Hilarious, what a fucking programme to watch, these dudes are super serious about their food..

At this point I can be heard shouting from my back "yeah fuck off with your soggy potatoes cunt you don't deserve to even be here" Hahah I'm so into this it's scary.

Of course what they really needed to eat was what I was having right then, a milkybar yoghurt with malteasers chucked in, they'd have won first place with this absolute delicacy lol

The flavour on this bud is monumental, almost soda like carbonation with lemon tones in the background blending into a more earthy taste on the exhale. Fantastic.

It's 1 o clock and I'm at work in morning, but my mind's following some awesome thought patterns, I probably would take this early evening next time as I just wanted to stay awake lol.

This is very good bud, worth the premium price tag that goes with it.
Pair it with a few episodes of MasterChef on Netflix and you won't be disappointed until you wake up the next day and realise you've eaten 6 bags of crisps, a chicken tikka toastie, chocolate,a bowl of Weetabix and a soggy potato is sitting in the sink.

Service from my favourite vendors was percent as usual, no smells, perfect stealth and the bud arrived in good condition.

Seems this strain has divided opinions a little, some are finding it not as good as we have.
It vaped really quite great for me, the flavour was probably the best through the Dyna I've had, weird some are finding it otherwise :/
